Winter (P.O.V)

Me and Jasper walked into the school together with his arm over my shoulder and me cuddling into his side. I ignore the staring and whispers around us as we walked to the main office.

I stopped when I remembered I had left Bella outside. Jasper looked at me confused as I looked up at him. "What's wrong Darling?". Jasper asked curiously.

I smiled sheepishly for shrugging my shoulders. "I may have forgotten that I left my sister outside in all the excitement". I said as Jasper looked a bit amused.

"Do you want to go back for her?". Jasper asked looking down at me.

"No I'm sure she's fine plus I'm not in the mood to be interrogated right now Jaz". I said before dragging him towards the main office.

Once I collected my schedule and locker number I skipped over to Jasper handing it to him. He observed that we had some of our classes together except the one before lunch. He had gym thank god I already had my credit for physical education as I wanted to be far away from Bella and her clumsy ways.

Jasper walked me to my class which was on the introduction to the Civil War. Luckily we had it together and sat next to each other. I was glad the opportunity to come back home presented itself I was tired of living in Phoenix when my heart wasn't in it it never was.

After my last class which unfortunately wasn't with Jasper. It took a bit of time finding the cafeteria which was a bit uncomfortable with all the staring I have been receiving since this morning.

Once I found the cafeteria I got in line to get my lunch and paid for it. I picked it up to feel a presence behind me turning around I saw Bella. Although we were in the same grade despite me being a year younger I was a bit advanced in my education taking both junior and senior classes in some subjects.

"Who was he?". Bella asked breaking the silence.

"Nothing that concerns your pretty little head sister". I said about to walk past her until she grabbed my upper arm.

"Does Charlie know about him?". Bella asked letting go of me as I glared at her.

"Not that it is any of your business nor the place to talk about it but no dad doesn't know about it". I said emphasizing the word dad.

I actually found it disrespectful how Bella called our dad by his first name most of the time and had to let it slip a couple of times. I sometimes noticed the hurt in his eyes but he chooses to brush it off.

As me and Bella had a bit of a glaring match we were interrupted by a blond boy. "Hey Bella want to join us". The unknown boy said looking me over quite a bit.

"Yea Mike would it be alright if my sister joined?". Bella asked which the boy immediately nodded to without letting me respond I was dragged over to a table with a few other people.

I just sat there ignoring them and putting in my headphones. I didn't put any music on as I wanted to listen to the conversation as I could feel a hole burning through my head as a girl named Jessica glare in my direction.

"Who are they?". Bella asked as I looked in the direction she was to see Jasper sibling walking through the door.

"The Cullens". Angela a girl I have my second period class with said. She was the total opposite of Jessica and I didn't know how they were friends but this was a small town everyone knew each other.

"They're Dr. and Mrs. Cullen foster kids they moved down here from Alaska a few years ago". Jessica said in a gossip mode.

"They kind of keep to themselves". Angela said smiling.

"Yeah because their all together like together together. The blonde girl that's Rosalie and the big dark-haired guy Emmett. There like a thing I'm not even sure if that's legal". Jessica said wrinkling her nose.

"Jess they aren't actually related". Angela said sighing.

"Yeah but they actually live together it's weird". Jessica said before leaning over to Bella. " The little dark-haired girl is Alice she's really weird. She's with Andrew Kingston he really doesn't talk much everyone thinks he's a mute. He was recently adopted last year". Jessica said as I watched Alice Twhirl under Andrew's arm.

"Dr. Cullen Is like this foster dad/matchmaker". Jessica said as I snorted under my breath.

"Maybe he'll adopt me". Angela said cheerful as I smiled.

"Who's he?". Bella as as Jasper's other brother walked in with him.

"That's Edward Cullen he's totally gorgeous apparently no one around here is good enough for him and his brother Jasper Hale he always look like he's in pain though". Jessica said making me glare at her.

I had had enough of the conversation I stood up making Bella look at me confused I pulled out my headphones stuffing them into my pocket then picked up my lunch. "As much fun as this little gossip conversation is going I rather not hear insults about my boyfriend and his family". I said glaring directly at Jessica once again before heading towards Jasper's table.

Jasper noticed me walking towards him with a worry expression on his face as I knew my face was probably a bit red from the anger I was feeling at the moment.

"Are you alright Darling?". Jasper asked once I was with him he took my lunch placing it next to him.

"I'm fine just didn't feel like hearing any more gossip my sister knows how to pick friends that's for sure". I said sitting on Jasper's lap with him wrapping his arms around my waist.

"It's good to finally have you back maybe Jasper won't be moping around anymore". Alice said smirking.

"I miss him too". I said turning my head kissing Jasper on the cheek."Also Pixie thanks for keeping the surprise". I said calling Alice by the nickname she hated which made her glare at me and Andrew chuckled a bit.

The rest of the conversation was light with me making plans with Alice and Rosalie to go shopping soon. I wasn't a huge fan but I didn't mind a shopping trip every now and again.

The only weird part was Edward continue to stare at Bella and vice versa. I honestly hope nothing happens between them as I wanted to keep her far away from my boyfriend and his family as possible.
