Winter (P.O.V)
I twitchd nervously having the feeling that something was going to happen it continued to nag at me throughout the day. I was getting impatient as the day continued to drag on it didn't help that Jasper wasn't in my last class with me.
My nervousness didn't help with my frustrate I felt throughout the day either. On multiple occasions i've seen Bella and Edward talking to each other. I'm pissed off because She brushed off my warning I did not want her involved with Jasper's family.
The bell rang snapping me out of it I was the first person out of my seat I already packed my stuff. I speed walked out of the classroom and down through my locker and quickly switched out some of my books the jitters never leaving me.
I sighed walking out of the school to see Jasper and Alice whispering harshly to each other and Andrew tried to calm Alice down. After a few more words got exchanged Jasper turned around looking serious as I walked over to them.
"Is everything okay Cowboy?". I asked confused.
"Just fine snowflake". Jasper said as his lip was pulled into a tight smile. I nodded not believing it but didn't push further. "Anyways are you ready to go Darlin". Jasper said pull me into his arms.
"Yea I just need to go let Bella know real fast". I said as I felt Jasper go stiff.
"Snowflake why don't you just call her on the way". Jasper said looking at me worriedly as I looked confused.
"Jaz it's only gonna take a minute Bella's right over there". I said pointing across the parking lot to were Bella stood next to her truck.
"Winter please...". Jasper said cutting himself off as I looked at him in shock as he rarely called me by my name.
"What the hell...". I was cut off as I heard tires screeching turning around everything happened in slow motion. A van skitted going towards Bella's truck. Next thing I knew I saw Edward hopping over Bella's truck but everyone calling Bella's name through the commotion.
"Snow...". Jasper tried to say. I slowly turned around towards him stepping out of his arms slowly backing away.
"How did you know?". I whispered slowly in complete shock as Jasper tried to grab me.
"I didn't Darlin". Jasper said as I shook my head turning on my heel and quickly running towards Bella.
I Ignores jaspers calls as I got through the crowd going to immediately towards Bella. Everybody was freaking out but I stay calm as I saw Bella sitting on the ground confused eyes widen and then I looked at the van door to see a huge dent in it.
I didn't know how but it was clear to me Jasper knew something was going to happen. I've always suspected he hid something from me but I never pushed him. I always had that speck of doubt in the back of my mind and now it hit me full force in the face.
The main question running through my head what was Jasper hiding for me because it's clear it has something to do with this scene.

Just like Bella I was in shock I was on auto pilot through the whole thing. Bella was fine just a concussion and dad was furious.
I'm sitting on the porch swing alone as Bella was in her room resting and dad had to go back to work. My head still playing everything that happened I still coming up with no answers. I've always known Jasper was hiding something from me but I let it slide because I never wanted to cross boundaries when it had nothing to do with me.
It does hurt that even almost 2 years together he still doesn't trust me to tell me his secret. "Snowflake". Jaspers voice made me jump as I hadn't heard him coming. He leaned against the porch with his arms crossed.
We just stared at each other for a couple of minutes before I talked. "You knew something was going to happen that's why you were trying to rush me out of there". I said as Jasper looked at me like he was in pain about to spoke but I cut him off. "Don't lie to me Jaz I want to know the truth. I don't want our relationship to have any more secrets. I've always known you held something back through our relationship. Bella should have died today but Edward saved her I saw the dent in the van door". I said standing up dropping the blanket off of my shoulder on the swing. I walked over towards Jasper looking up at his beautiful eyes.
Jasper sighed running his fingers through his honey blonde hair."I swear snowflake I didn't know anything was going to happen I just needed to get you out of there and away from Alice". Jasper said a bit frustrated.
"Why?". I asked confused.
"Alice and the family have been pressuring me lately they've always wanted me to tell you on why I've always held back. What happened today it was a coincidence". Jasper whispered pulling me into his arms resting his forehead against mine.
"You know me Jaz you can always tell me anything I will never stop loving you". I whispered caressing his cheek.
"I'm afraid to lose you. I've always wanted to tell you but I never wanted to see the fear in your beautiful eyes when I tell you the true monster I am". Jasper whisper down casting his eyes.
"Hey hey look at me". I said softly making him look into my eyes. "I would never see you as a monster your my Jasper my soulmate". I said pulling him in for a kiss.
Jasper slowly pulled away for me giving me a sad smile as he started removing his jacket. I looked at him confused as he handed it over to me. Grabbed it never took my eyes off of him as he slowly undid The buttons of his sleeves slowly pushing them up not meeting my eyes. I slowly looked at the scars on his arms many looked at like bite marks.
"How??". I whispered looking up at Jasper who didn't meet my eyes.
"From my past life before I found Alice and Andrew. Snowflake I was the youngest major in the Texas cavalry I was 19 when that part of my life ended back in 1863. My name isn't Jasper Hale it's Jasper Whitlock. I'm not proud of the life I lived after that fateful night which I rather not talk about at the moment but I became a monster killing many people". Jasper said looking into my eyes the whole time.
"I...". I was speechless as my eyes continue looking back-and-forth between him and the scars on his arms. "How??". Was the only word I forced out of my mouth.
"I'm a vampire Darlin". Jasper whispered with a heartbroken expression. I stumbled backwards falling on the swing. My mind was all over the place "I know I don't deserve you winter but please don't be afraid of me I wouldn't be able to take it your my soulmate". Jasper whispered in a completely broken voice. He crouched down in front of me taking my hand. I tried not to flinch but he noticed look at me even more broken if possible.
Before I could reply the front door open Bella's voice startling. "Winter are..." She cut herself off when she noticed Jasper there with me she narrowed her at him suspiciously.
"I better go". Jasper whispered as I looked at him. I noticed his sleeves were already pulled down hiding his scars.
I narrowed my eyes at Bella. "Close the damn door you can see I'm in the middle of something". I hissed angrily before I noticed Jasper already walking down the steps. "Jaz wait". I said following behind him as he was walking ahead of me fast. Jasper was almost to his car when I managed to grab onto his elbow. He stopped in his tracks flinching in the process with his back towards me he didn't budge as I tried to turn him around. I sighed walking in front of him blocking his path.
"I should go Winter". Jasper whisper not looking at me. It broke my heart him calling me by my name which he rarely does.
"Jaz please look at me". I said reaching out caressing his cheeks. Jasper looked into my eyes completely broken and vulnerable. "I want you to know I still love you. I was in shock with everything that happened today my mind took a bit to process but my feelings for you haven't never change and never well". I said wrapping my arms around his neck pulling him towards me. I pressed my lips towards his putting all the love I fell for him into it.
We pulled away with me still in Jasper arms. "How can you love a Mon...". Jasper said but I cut him all by putting my finger to his lips.
"Don't you dare call yourself that. You Jasper Whitlock are the furthest thing from that. I may not know what you went through in your past it doesn't matter to me. I'm your present and your future I know who you are". I said as I ran my hand across his cheek.
We just stayed there looking at each other as it slowly started to rain. I still had a bit of of processing to do but I wouldn't run away from my mate. As I said his past is his past I would never turn my back on him.
It hurts that he hid he always held back with me but I understood his fear and I'll spend every day of our life making sure he remembers who he is and how much I love him we do have forever.
