The bladers were called to room 8, a huge room with at least fifty referees and small beyblade plates. It was explained to everyone that there would be elimination duels until the number of participants reached half, the BBA knew that hundreds of competitors would attend as in Europe but they never thought it would be double the expected amount.
—well, let's start with this I can not wait more! —Tyson took out his pitcher —we'd better get this thing started right away or we'll know who the winner is in the wee hours of the morning —the three-time champion put Dragoon in the pitcher.
—We're dying to start kicking ass aren't we Stratadragoon ? —Daichi was very confident —come on, no matter who it is, let's get it over with all our forces! —Daichi dragged the end of his nose.
The duels started while some of them were broadcasted on the screens of the stadium, generally they focused more on the duels of Kai, Tyson and Daichi because they were the most expected to see in action. It took almost two hours for half of the competitors to be eliminated.

This time the voice of Dj Jazzman was heard explaining the next dynamics, the remaining participants would be divided into eight groups of which only one person would pass to the next round, once the groups were selected the real competition was about to begin, these duels would take place on the main stage.

The stage floor was divided and two plates appeared to speed up the process. Group A was the first one where Daichi was the participant to win, he had no problem to take the pass to the next round, he showed no mercy and didn't let his rivals have time to think or react.

In group B appeared the first surprise of the tournament, Salima qualified showing a great level but unfortunately eliminating her own teammate, Goki, Max, Hilary and Kenny were surprised to see her, Ray acted his astonishment, he was doing his best but Mariah could notice that he was a little nervous.
—We also have girl power in this tournament and wow that was a great performance from start to finish— commented AJ Topper —for those who don't know she is the teammate of Kane and Jim, who participated in the penultimate tournament.

Another surprise brought Group D, when Kane was proclaimed winner defeating Dunga of the Saint Shields, for Dunga it was a humiliation, he rejected Kane's handshake and left the stage without saying a word, they felt hatred towards Kane for having tried to destroy the sacred beasts.
—It was a good duel, I hope some day face you again! — Kane shouted at him before he was lost in the tunnel.

Other surprise appearances were Ozuma in group F showing no mercy and Mariam in group G who advanced to the next round defeating Jim, the blue-haired girl showed the power of her Sharcraft bit beast.
—I'm sorry little guy but these are the big leagues and those who do not have the level that is needed go home —Mariam winked at him.
—I can't believe I can dislike such a beautiful girl so much —Jim frowned and walked off the stage to the applause of his teammates.

In the last group the only known face was Joseph from the Saint Shields, everything pointed to him being the favorite to pass but he was defeated in one blow by a mysterious participant, who had been wearing a chocolate hood during all his participation, when he took it off it was Brooklyn, shocking and leaving everyone in the stadium in shock.
