Dranzer and Driger had suffered great damage during the semifinals, Kenny offered to repair both while the excitement grew by the minute to know who would be the champion of Asia between Ray and Kai, both world champion beybladers and referents in the world of beyblade. Mystel went to sit with his BEGA teammates.
—thank you for your shouts of support —said the Egyptian —I don't have a speech prepared to justify why I didn't advance to the finals —Mystel laughed —I was simply beaten by Kai.
—that's the best explanation you could have said —Brooklyn bumped fists with him —the important thing is that you had fun and you did your best, besides you made it to the semifinals of this long tournament.

The stadium exploded with emotion as Ray and Kai went to the center of the stage, they had changed the plate, it was a bigger one, the two bladers stared at each other without saying a single word, both looks lacking of emotions.
—I can feel the tension —said Tyson —it hasn't even started and I'm already getting excited —Tyson stood up —come on Kaii, Ray!.
—I have goosebumps —added Max.
—Ray comes from beating Garland and Zeo, while Kai beat Gordon and Mystel, and before that the only one who until then seemed invincible, the champion of champions when it comes to beyblade, Tyson —said Topper.
—that's a big plus for Kai, but if there's someone who can surprise without a doubt it's Ray, he won't let it be an easy final even if he beat Tyson! —added Brad.
—Ray.. —Salima was nervous —you are already here, you just have to concentrate and give your best —she thought while she kept moving her hands and legs because of her nerves.

Dranzer and Driger clashed with all their strength, the protective barriers did not stop shaking, Dranzer hit Driger three times, Driger recovered and responded with three more blows making everyone shout.

Dranzer began to throw small red stakes all over the plate to catch Driger, he dodged them all until two of them managed to get embedded inside and he took the opportunity to surround him with them, Salima and Mariah kicked the ground at the same time.
—he got him! —said Mariam.
—Ray was doing well but everyone here knows that no one can escape Dranzer's clutches —said Tyson anxious to see what would happen.
—NOW BLAZIN GIGS! —commanded Kai and his flame-wrapped blade shot out like lightning to strike him.
—noooo Ray! —thought Salima scared so much so that she was able to stand up without having to use her cane.

The hit sounded like an explosion and immediately the plate was filled with blue flames, Suki was starting to get excited and thinking about Kai's victory.
—he finally won the match.. —Suki jumped but stopped when she saw Kai frowning.
—what's going on! —Kane couldn't see through the flames —I can't see a damn thing —he was standing up to watch.
—DRIGER! —Ray's eyes looked like those of a feline. The flames were extinguished by the swirl of wind Driger formed as he picked up his pace, he was holding Dranzer back.
—Yes Ray is back guys! —shouted Max and Daichi.
—don't underestimate me Kai! —Ray gnashed his teeth and Driger started dragging Dranzer while they broke the red stakes that were on the plate —GATLING GRAB!.

Driger threw green rays and began to hit Dranzer from all sides, each hit made him stagger, twenty hits could be counted until he finally gave him one last one with all his strength, making him spin violently across the plate until he crashed against the edge.
—yeahhh Driger, come on Rayyy! —shouted Lee and Mariah.

The rim broke, but Dranzer managed to stay inside and keep spinning to continue the grand finale and bring Kai's fans back to life.
—Dranzer is miraculously saved from losing this amazing fight!, he came back like a phoenix! —commented Jazzman.
—haha...haha...HAHAHAHAHAHA —Kai laughed making some people freak out seeing him like that—he put both hands on his head and pulled his hair.
—it was so much to beat Tyson to the point that he doesn't know if he's dreaming or living a dream anymore —commented AJ.
—I thought that without Tyson all this would be boring until the final rounds but you Ray, you're a fucking pain in the ass that's amusing me! —Kai took off his heavy scarf and as usual left a hole in the floor.
—it's about time you got serious! —Ray with a huge grin cracked his neck —but stop thinking that this whole tournament revolves around you KAIII! —Ray's arms got bigger.
—DRANZER FINISH IT!

Both blades resumed their combat with violent clashes that gave off blue flames and green rays, the protective barriers began to fill with cracks, as well as the plate, you could see that small parts were coming off of Driger and Dranzer.
—we're not in a bombing raid in the middle of a world war friends!, it's Dranzer and Driger colliding again and again with all their might! —said Topper.
—Ray is great, he doesn't look like he's giving it all he's got! —said Daichi —Kai is getting tired, I haven't seen him so exhausted since his battle with Broooklyn.
—Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray you can win! —shouted the White Tigers and Salima tried to hide her huge smile, they saw that their leader was giving the best battle of his life.

Ray and Kai were exhausted, keeping that pace was crazy, the plate was starting to fall apart, Dranzer hit Driger so hard, opening a hole from the impact and making Ray fall back from the shockwave of power.
—Driger! —Ray covered his face as pieces of the plate flew straight at his face, he didn't move for anything in the world.
—this time I'm going to finish you like that time, Ray! —Kai tightened his arms, revealing his strong muscles —everything must end at some point, even this fantasy of thinking you can beat me!.

Ray was beginning to be pushed by Dranzer's strength —I don't know where he gets so much strength from —thought the leader of the White Tigers.
—what's inside Kai's body.., where does Kai get so much strength from —Max opined —I'd be on my knees by now.

—AHHHH DRANZERR! —shouted Kai with fury —Dranzer hit Driger again and again without giving him a chance to react, he embedded him in one of the plate's legs.
—Driger got out of there immediately! —Ray shouted, causing his teammates to panic as they saw the anguish coursing through their faces.
—too late for Driger and especially for you Ray, BLASIN GIGS TEMPEST! —shouted Kai and the veins in his arms stood out.
—cover up if you want to keep alive guys!, it's about to get ugly! —said Jazzman.

The imposing Dranzer bird came out of the blue blade spreading its wings and deafening some people, the blade was wrapped in flames in the shape of a phoenix and when it hit Driger, everything lit up with a big explosion.
—Ray! —shouted the White Tigers worried and Goki put his hands on Salima's shoulders when he saw that she could no longer watch the fight, especially because of the bad outlook for Ray.
—Dranzer keeps spinning and there's a huge hole where Driger was! —said Tyson as he could see, —no friends, nooo —Tyson moved his hands erratically —I think Dranzer just pulverized Driger!.
—Kai is the winner of the match! —announced Jazzman to the euphoria of his fans in the stadium, Aki wanted to hide his excitement after all the frenzy they were feeling.
—I admit that cat's eyes made me feel so scared but in the end I won my KAIIIIII!
—Kai's attack will be a nuisance for me —thought Tala.
—I made it.. —whispered Kai, exhausted, and as the dust cleared, there was Ray with a huge cut on his forehead, his headband was broken and his hair was loose, with his eyes lowered.
—Ray... —Mariah was starting to cry and Salima looked discouraged —it doesn't matter Ray you were close and you have taught us to never give up —she couldn't speak anymore because of the sadness.

She started to tremble under the plate, as if something was approaching —impossible.. —Kai's eyes dilated as never before.
—you don't know when I trained to excel myself Kai.. —Ray whispered and looked up —it's not going to end like this.. —Ray cut the ribbons on his left arm to put them on his forehead.
—Driger —wondered Mariah with some hope as well as her teammates, Lee was starting to get excited and Kevin kept shaking Gary.
—that attack killed DRAGOON, it's impossible for Driger to keep turning! —said Kai.
—Who decides that? You?! —Ray frowned and tightened his arms, marking his muscles as well —DRIGERR TIGER ARROW!.

From the hole came out a flash of green energy that hit Dranzer without warning, sounding as if lightning had struck at that moment, Kai, Ray and Jazzman shot out and the plate was filled with green lightning and a huge glow of the same color, also heard the roar of Driger.
—are they in the other world.. —asked AJ, frightened.
—I'm scared —Hilary hugged Tyson's arm.
—I'm worried about Ray and Kai, but they would never forgive me if I went on stage —said Max.

Driger and Dranzer were spinning weakly, the plate was totally damaged and charred, both blades were smoking, Kai and Ray were lying on one side of the plate, both panting and in pain. Suki was very scared, she took Aki's hand surprising him.
—Ray.. —the White Tigers were silent, still stunned that their leader was still in the fight despite receiving that devastating attack.
—I don't think they'll be able to get away —said Dunga —those blades are about to be torn apart.
—you haven't beaten me.. —Kai whispered and struggled to get up with all his strength.
—I know, Kai, I was just resting before finishing you —Ray also stood up while resisting the pain —I'm not going to lose for anything in the world.
—You are not going to stop the match Mr. Dickenson? —asked an executive close to him —this is dangerous for your health, both of you are on the verge of collapse and who knows if you have internal shocks.

Everyone was waiting for an epic outcome, Dranzer and Driger crashed again with the little strength they had left, Ray and Kai were no longer shouting, they were just standing still, they were subtle clashes compared to the previous ones but with more suspense, at times it seemed that Driger was going to win and at other times Dranzer.
—they don't have the strength anymore! —said Kenny so scared that he let Dizzy fall to the ground.
Kane couldn't believe it —those two are willing to die to win the final.
—one last attack Driger! —Ray raised his left arm —he no longer cared that blood was starting to cover his eyes.

Kai clenched his fists with all his might, he could feel a strong pain in his left lower abdomen. The two blades collided one last time with all their might, everyone was scared of receiving another devastating wave of power but they only watched as both blades disarmed at once.
—they disarmed! —shouted Kenny taking both hands to his head, he knew he had repaired them perfectly —who am I kidding, the blades are not indestructible after all.

Kai and Ray didn't have time to talk because doctors rushed to the stage to attend to the finalists quickly, with oxygen masks, they had some bruises, small burns on their forearms from covering themselves from the explosions and the heat they were burning. They decided that they should take them to the nearest hospital as a precaution.
After a few minutes they convinced the medical staff that they were fine, so they didn't take them, Suki and the White Tigers went down to the stage once the paramedics left. Suki was going to hug Kai but she noticed something in his eyes, she just stood next to him.
—Rayy, you deserved to win —Mariah cried as she hugged him —it was the best fight I've ever seen, Ray, you're the best of them all —she couldn't let go of the White Tigers' leader.
—I appreciate all those sweet words Mariah. But don't squeeze me too much, my whole body hurts... — Ray had never felt so much pain in his body.
—Ray, you will always be the best for us —Lee told him —I don't know what will happen now though, there is no way you will have another fight in less than a few weeks.
Kevin squeezed his hand —come here Ray! —Gary lifted him up to sit on his shoulders —I don't care what happens, you gave a fight worth having!.
Mr. Dickenson came down with the trophy but he looked nervous —I don't know what to tell you guys, you certainly gave a great fight —he gulped —we never anticipated a situation like this, you gave a sublime fight, I think we all agree that you both deserve to share the title of champions of Asia —he said surprising everyone.
—Kenny! —shouted Kai —can you repair our blades.. —Kai could not move well —if there is a way to end this I can wait all night.

Kenny stood up right away and went down to the plate —this time you guys went too far, a little more and it would be impossible to repair these parts, they are still hot so I must wait for them to cool down enough to take them carefully, unfortunately just by looking at their blades I know it's going to take me about three weeks.
—you're the best Kenny, I'm sorry to have shredded all your hard work —said Ray a little sorry —but to be honest I don't think I'll be able to fight again in a few days...

—Ray ... you're a damn pain in the ass... —he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists with what was left of his strength, —I must do better, damn it!.
—stop acting tough, dude! —Tyson had just pulled him aside and stood next to him —that's not the face I expected from someone who just became Asian champion —Tyson smiled and adjusted his cap —I know why you're angry, Kai...
—now I'm not in the mood for your silly speeches Tyson —Kai gave him a dirty look and tried to walk away but he almost fell to the ground, he managed to hold on to the wall in time.
—hehehehe let me help you, you don't have to act tough with me —Tyson came closer and put Kai's left hand on his shoulders to help him walk —come on we should take you to your room so you can rest and get bitter.
—you're another pain in the ass Tyson —Kai whispered.
—you're welcome for being a good friend Kai, I won't tell anyone what happened! —Tyson smiled.
—just shut up and help me walk before I prefer to sleep on the floor —Kai showed a slight smile that turned into complaints when he felt pain in his abdomen.
—you're just like me, a victory is to have finished with your rival, but let me tell you that Ray has improved more than I thought, I even know he would beat me right now.
—I know —answered Kai immediately with some irony.
—hey, try to have more empathy for the people who really care about you! —Tyson pouted and Kai smiled.

The rest went down to the stage, except the Saint Shields who preferred to leave the stadium, Mariam greeted Max before leaving, Kane, Salima, Goki and Gin were seated.
—aren't you going to congratulate Ray.. —asked Daichi to Tala and Pasha when he saw that they were heading to the exit —come on for once try to show a little kindness —the little boy smiled at them.
—I congratulate him in my mind —said Tala.
—it's not my style.. —whispered Pasha and left the stadium with him —good night Daichi.
—whatever people say, you are strong and now I respect you Pasha, I enjoyed training with you Tala —said Daichi drawing a surprised face in both Russians when they heard those words.

—don't worry about him guys —Tyson should be with Kai helping him to walk —Ray told them.
—you didn't win but you gave an unforgettable battle Ray, you and Kai left everyone on the verge of collapse during your battle —Mystel approached with her companions —now you can take a well deserved rest.
—it was a great battle Ray, congratulations —said Garland, Ming Ming smiled.
—I'm sure you'll win next time, Ray! —Mr. Dickenson was right in declaring you both winners of the tournament, you both deserve it and there is no one in the world who would say otherwise— added Garland.
—good job Ray —said Brooklyn —you know in the stands are Salima and her teammates, in fact they are the only ones sitting in the stadium, I don't know why she is not here celebrating with you —added the orange-haired boy.
