Aki and Suki were on their way back to the hotel after the grand final - why weren't you jumping this time, Kai didn't win at all but he will be in the final round - asked Aki.
—I just didn't feel like it Aki, even I know that everything is not a party —Suki looked out the window of the limo.
-or did you also notice that Kai was in a bad mood —Aki smiled as she sighed.
—How do you know Akira?
—you're his fiancée, I'm his twin, we may be completely different but I'm still one of the only people in the world who can tell the difference between Kai's moods —Aki adjusted his jacket —and when I say mood I mean he just has that carefree face.
—wow, and I thought you were useless —Suki adjusted her hair.
—why everyone talks to me like I have no heart, I always try to make you laugh and have the best time and look how you pay me...

It was 10 o'clock at night, 2 hours had passed since the end of the meetings, Max was in a fair that was near the port of the city.
-so here you were all this time, I thought you hadn't come —Max had finally found Mariam.
-you are slow, I told you I was waiting for you under the wheel of fortune - Mariam was with her arms crossed - or maybe you didn't want to come.
-you know there are two wheels at this fair right? —despite seeing her bad mood Max was happy to be with her.

Max and Mariam began to walk around, seeing everything there was -don't you think it's a wonderful place? —asked the girl.
—What does wonderful mean? —asked the blond —you must give me more details.
—you know silly, children playing, people laughing, colorful stalls and attractions, things that nobody should know or I'll kill you, it's the first time I'm in a fair —Mariam dragged the back of her neck.
—really, Mariam! —Max wondered in amazement, Mariam frowned but when she saw Max's smile she looked away.
—well, you're in luck, I promise I'm going to win the biggest prize we've ever seen and give it to you.
Mariam put on a girlish look for a matter of seconds but when she saw Max's surprised face she felt embarrassed and frowned -seriously come on! —Max grabbed her hand —you have to stop pretending to be the rebellious girl, we're always going to have fun!.
Mariam's excitement soon turned to stress and grief because Max was terrible at every game he tried, throwing darts, hitting moles, knocking over a tower of cubes with a baseball, all of which he failed at.
But even though he was losing, Mariam smiled at the sight of him trying, at first she held back her smile but little by little she let it out to the point of laughing out loud. All the planets aligned because Max managed to throw 20 dry rings into a huge nail.
—thanks to the beyblade! —Max happily took a huge stuffed elephant —for you —he extended it to Mariam extremely proud of his achievement.
—for me? —Mariam at first just took it and that was it, but little by little an enormous joy came over her and she hugged her gift tenderly —thank you Max —Mariam rubbed her eyes and kissed his cheek.
—oh... —Max smiled unconsciously —now let's go eat something with lots of mustard.

They found a place and sat down to eat, Mariam began to tell him about the history of her people, how they became the protectors of the sacred beasts and her day to day life with her brother and friends. Max told him about his tastes, hobbies and many other topics.
—it was delicious, wasn't it —Max was finishing his meal, as usual he had filled it with mustard.
—yeah, I thought I wouldn't like it but I'm surprised how good it is —Mariam sucked some mustard that was left under her fingernails.
—who knew a tough girl like you could be gentle too.
—don't spoil the evening Max —Mariam nudged him with her shoulder —you have to be tough to be respected in my town, girls are always seen as the weakest.
—you don't have to be with me —Max smiled.
—What are you talking about? —Mariam bit her tongue with nervousness —and now what I am doing?.
—to close on a high note the night we have to go to the Ferris wheel! —Max pointed it.

Max and Mariam went upstairs, a little uncomfortable because when they sat down, the person in charge of the attraction told Max not to eat her with kisses when he was upstairs, when he saw Mariam's face he almost peed himself.
—I'm sorry for that —whispered the blond who was starting to sweat and feel more nervous than usual.
—he's just a fool and it's not that it bothered me when that happened —Mariam covered her mouth after saying that —just try to keep quiet Max.
—how lucky we are, the wheel stopped with us on top —Max said.
—I feel like if I keep this up I'm going to puke up all the mustard you made me eat.
—look around —Max said. Mariam was enchanted with how the lights of the buildings looked, it was the best view to see the city of Bombay in all its splendor.
—I'm glad you agreed to come Mariam, I know I'm not interesting and sometimes I can be boring but I really enjoy your company.
—I'm glad you decided to invite me Max, I wish this night wouldn't end —Mariam spoke sincerely.
—me neither, Mariam —replied the blond.
—I promise to be nicer but only to you, the rest of your friends are not my priority —Mariam proposed.
—it's a promise then —Max showed her his thumb.
But if you tell anyone I'm going to kill you —the girl gave him a cold look.
—I swear hahaha you should stop threatening people —Max swallowed dryly.

Once the agreement was concluded they looked at the city, Max intertwined his hand with Mariam's hand and she dropped her head on his shoulder, they didn't say anything to each other but they were both happy to be there. What they didn't know was that certain people were spying on them.
—I told you nothing was going to happen to her, dwarf - —Dunga was tired of watching them - —we've been watching them all damn night and you haven't even bought me something to eat!.
—what do you expect, she's his sister after all —Ozuna told him.
—if that Max does anything to her I'm going to kill him myself! —Joseph whispered, the three of them were under a tree, near the dining rooms.
—I doubt it buddy, Max could stop you with the sole of his sneakers —Michael appeared next to Emily and Dunga couldn't help but burst out laughing to the point of kneeling down.
—What did you say! —Joseph gnashed his teeth, but Michael looked straight ahead to annoy him even more.
—What are you guys doing here —Ozuna asked.
—I just came to make sure Max had the situation under control, but he's a real stud like me, I shouldn't have worried hahaha —Michael stuck out his chest. Emily tugged his ear —I came so that this idiot wouldn't do anything to bother them.
—that makes sense —Joseph whispered —it hasn't been two minutes and I feel like I'd rather die than listen to him. They decided it was time to leave them alone so they went back to the hotel.
—I'm proud of Max, he must have learned from me —said Michael.
—I'm sure if I had taken you as an example Mariam would have quit in the first ten seconds —whispered Emily.
—the only thing he could learn from you would be to be an asshole all the time —said Joseph, and Dunga laughed.
—well, it's not my sister who's going to get tongue-lashed tonight —Michael whispered.
—DIE! — Joseph was grabbed by a laughing Dunga.

Others who had decided to go to the fair were the Bladebreakers, Team Physick and BEGA, they were together, Ming Ming had to put on a wig to go unnoticed.
—are you sure you're not afraid Kenny —Daichi saw him trembling —you should not be ashamed if you don't want to be here boss.
—sure! —Kenny rubbed his chest —it's okay guys, I feel great!.
—if you don't want to go up, don't go up —said Garland —I don't want to be the one to blame for giving you a cardiac arrest and not let you fix Dranzer and Driger.

Ming Ming smiled at him —is it true that you want to go up, Kenny?, Kenny stood up straight, he was going to overcome his fear of roller coasters just to be with Ming Ming.
—too bad Salima isn't here —said Kane, his turn was coming up.
—she must be with the White Tigers, so don't worry anymore —answered Jim.
—where are Tyson and Hilary, we are on our way up and I don't think they are waiting for us —Crusher looked all around but didn't see them.
—I'm sure they got lost —Mystel stretched his arms —they must be arguing or something.

Just as Mystel said, they were lost, Hilary wanted to go to the bathroom and Tyson offered to go with her, after Paris it was obvious that he wasn't going to leave her walking alone.
—what were you doing! —Tyson walked with his arms crossed.

—Max! —both shouted, he was with Mariam.

—Tyson! —Hilary kicked him in the knee —what a cute elephant —Hilary's eyes looked like those of a cat.
—get away —Mariam gave her a cold stare.
—I won it hehe —Max told her proudly —Why don't you tell Tyson to win you one?
—I would never give anything to such an ungrateful girl! —Tyson whispered and Hilary frowned.
—Max, you forget you're not alone —said Mariam with her hands on her hips.
—see you guys, keep having fun! —Max said goodbye and walked away.

Tyson kept walking but Hilary stood still, he called out to her several times but Hilary turned around and started to walk away, he had to chase after her.
—What's wrong with you now, is it because you want the elephant? —Tyson sighed —well let's go get you one too —he grabbed her arm.
—let go of me Tyson! —Hilary removed his arm.
—Hilary? —Tyson was perplexed, he had never seen that look on Hilary's face, a look of disappointment.
—it didn't mean anything to you that I supported you when you fought Max and Ray, or when I stood by your side when Kai defeated you —Hilary clenched her fists.

—you're not, I'm the dumb one, I'm just not good at this stuff—Tyson felt his pace quicken, he was finally being honest with Hilary.
—What things, Tyson? —she asked, still not turning to him.
—heart stuff —Tyson was starting to sweat.
—you had to see me in a bad way to be honest for the first time —Hilary rubbed her eyes —that's not how it works, I want you to leave me alone for a while.
—no, Hilary just come with me and we'll sort out this misunderstanding.
—everything has to be the way you want it to be Tyson, there is a limit to everything.

Hilary walked slowly until she lost Tyson, then she started to run, she passed right in front of Emily and Michael who quickly got scared -Hilary, Hilary! —Michael caught up to her —What happened, are you running from someone?
—Hilary, what's wrong with you! —Emily caught up with them, what happened?
—I just want you to hold me —Hilary hugged Emily and started to cry.
—oh darling.. —Emily squeezed her tightly and looked at Michael and motioned for him to leave them alone, he understood and left without hesitation.

Tyson stood there frozen as he watched Hilary slowly walk away, he didn't think anything in those moments, his mind was blank. Kai told Tyson to leave him alone when he left the stadium, until now he was arriving to his room, when he arrived Suki was waiting for him.
—come on, I'm going to bandage you! —Suki had bandages in one hand and a handkerchief with alcohol in the other —this time you're not going to give me excuses.
—you again... —Kai rubbed his forehead.
—you're hurt, you need to be attended Kai —Suki came closer to attend him —that's what I'm here for, to help you.
—how many times do I have to tell you to leave me alone! —Kai turned away and sat on the bed.

When Suki got to her room started crying inconsolably, once she had unburdened herself, she showered and dressed in the best she had, being heartbroken was not an excuse to always look like a fashion icon. She decided to leave her room with her suitcase in hand.
—Suki... —Aki was waiting for her outside.
—what do you want Akira —Suki kept moving her legs because she was in a hurry to leave town.
—are you really going to leave for good, are you going to let it all end just like that —Aki was worried about her.
—you heard Kai —Suki put on her dark glasses —this marriage is completely annulled —you know how many guys wouldn't want to have the chance to even say hello to me?.

Suki went down to the entrance where the cab was waiting for her to go to the airport, once she boarded it the cab only went three blocks.
Suki took off her glasses —I'm the last thing you'll see in your life if you think about kidnapping me or doing something — she saw Kai sitting on the sidewalk, wearing a black long sleeve sweater, without his scarf.
—give me your suitcase if you'll be so kind I'll take it back to the hotel —said the driver, she left it in the car and got out.
—you think that if you don't take me to make sure I take the fastest flight, I won't leave! —Suki looked down.
—I don't deny that, I thought about it —Kai stood up —but that's not the point —Kai looked very uncomfortable, he kept frowning and looking everywhere.

—I'm really sorry Suki —Kai stopped to look at her —I was an idiot, I shouldn't have told you all that.
—I forgive you —Suki replied with a smile.
—no, don't say it like that, you're a strong girl!, you would never let someone insult you like that, get mad at me and stop holding back! —said Kai —if it was another guy you would have already beaten him up!.

—COMEE ON SUKII! —Kai shouted loudly and Suki unhesitatingly punched him in the right eye with all her strength.
—Kai, I'm sorry! —Suki put her hands to her head — I didn't want to do it, you forced me to do it! —she rubbed his back.
—I thought you would just slap me... and everything would be fine —Kai rubbed his eye —I deserve it anyway, Tala would love to see me right now.

I want you to know that of all the fiancées my foolish grandfather could have chosen, I'm glad it was you. For the first time Kai looked down as he spoke to her. He never expected Suki to lift her face to give him a little kiss.
—our first kiss Kai —a blushing Suki played with her hair, Kai didn't say anything, he just touched his lips in surprise —yes I kissed well because I left you speechless Hiwatari —she took him by the hand —let's keep walking.
Pasha was furious there was someone who kept knocking on the door of her room, she went to open it while putting a hammer in her left hand just in case —what the hell Aki! —she shouted furious and let go of her hammer.

It's an emergency, I don't know where Suki is, I called her jet and she never arrived at the airport, I'm afraid of what she might do to the city!.
—slow down silly —Pasha let it go as she tried to wake up.
—she and Kai fought, she was going back to Japan an hour ago but she never arrived —Aki saw what looked like Tala's coat lying on the side of the bed, she kept her words to herself.
—and you want me to find her, don't you, well transfer a thousand to my account and we'll find your missing girl —Pasha pulled out a backpack she had under her bed.

—not at all! —I would like to know more to talk more with Kai —Suki looked at him from distance. Kai and Ray didn't say anything, they were both lying on a bench, both sore from the fight.
—you're not going to tell me what happened to your eye Kai —Ray wanted to laugh because seeing Suki's knuckle gave him an idea of what had happened.
—fuck you Ray —whispered Kai.

Both smiled, back at the hotel Tyson had been knocking on Emily's room door for hours for Hilary to come out, finally Emily and Mariah came out.
—we're going to let you talk to her, but we'll be outside waiting —Mariah said —don't even think about making her cry again Tyson...
—if she comes out crying, you'll see —Emily threatened him.
—Hilary, I'm so sorry —Tyson took off his cap and sat down next to her —I swear I'll change, I won't be the same fool, I swear I'll treat you the way you deserve! —Tyson took her by the hands.
—Do you like me Tyson —asked the chocolate-haired girl again.
—yes, I like you Hilary! —Tyson got his courage up, Mariah and Emily had their ears pressed against the door.
—I like you too and it's obvious that you know it —Hilary kissed him on the cheek —if you want there's still time to enjoy the fair.
—LET'S HAVE FUN! —Tyson stood up —every day from now on I'm going to show you that I care about you! —Tyson put his cap back on and with a smile left the room —I'll wait for you outside the hotel Hilary.

Maybe I lost the championship but I'm definitely going to earn your appreciation Hilary, Tyson started laughing alone like crazy in the hallway while scaring a cleaning lady who was passing by.
—What happened —asked Emily and Mariah.
—things went very well —Hilary was happy, now I know he liked me a lot —she smiled like never before.

And about North Korea... of course I know it's complicated there, in those moments I didn't think well using it as another place with beyblade tournaments and I apologize if I bothered you or anyone else, remember it's a fanfic and a story in which there are beasts with omnipotent powers capable of destroying the world being controlled by simple humans, I doubt that could happen in real life haha.
