"I fell inlove with you. I didn't do it on purpose."

-L.J smith

It was wrong, it was never intented for him to fall for someone like her in his life. All seventeen years of his life, he dedicated himself to being a hero, saving and helping people who were harmed and hurt, his sensei taught him better to know not to engage with someone dangerous, especially with someone who has no trace of their identity. He devoted himself for the righteous, vigilante lifestyle, where he and his brothers stop their enemies' illegal acts.

It was like an oath he promised himself to.

So why?

Why?

Why did he devote himself to stay by this woman's side? Why did he let himself tolerate her actions of heinous crimes? Why did he just stare at her when she, herself told him that she will kidnap a large number of people to just so she can accomplish whatever she needs to obtain? Why did he stop himself from stopping her?

Why out of all people he could fall inlove with, it just has to be her.

She was the complete opposite of him. Instead of being kind and pure, being a virtuous woman with the right morals and views of life, she was someome capable of killing someone. Able to torture a person's life without batting an eye. Murder? torture? theft? all of those could just be seen in her eyes as measly, little games of hers.

How can she be so nonchalant when someone had just died infront of her? Does she hold no value for the lives that passed away? does she have no morality in her heart? does she really have no good inside of her?

These possibilities are higher than a rocket ascending to space.

He was so shameful to see himself be so... inlove with this woman.

She was no human, she was just a devil in a goddess' skin.

She was so sinful, so evil. How can he let himself fall for this person when she had no rights or humanity in her?

It was shameful of him. He should have honor when finding his other half, the one to be his love. Not this temptress of a woman.

And yet...

Why does she look at him when he rambles about his brothers the same way a child would be when longing for a family? why will she tell him to go home early when she heard of his family waiting for him? why is she telling him to go easy on himself when he was facing an enemy? why is she no longer involving him in her villainous lifestyle as if she was hurting him?

Why?

Why?

Then it hit him.

Those times where she would wipe herself clean, at least most of her body clean, just to give him a proper greeting knowing he hates blood. All those moments when he was having a hard time, she was the one to give him the time of day when he desperately needs it, no matter how busy she was. Those eyes of hers looking at him like he was the light of the tunnel she has been searching all her life.

Does... does she feels the same for him? The bewilderment in that realization hit him harder than a truck would do to a normal person.

This wasn't like how captain ryan did when he met a foe with almost to no morals, it wasn't like that in the episode where captain ryan had accepted the enemy with open arms as soon as they had proven themselves trustworthy.

It was never like that!

This was frustrating. He doesn't know if he should let her know how he feels, or wait until she makes the move first. Months go on like the flow of a water faucet, and how the time passes for him to realize how... he truly loves her.

It was those small things about her first, maybe how she always carry herself with such admiring confidence. And how her eyes seem to be so ubelievably beautiful, especially in the dark, it is almost like it can glow and shine.

Then it moves onto more the bigger parts about her...

How now he always notices those habits he never once pays attention to. Whenever she taps her temples, shows that she is distressed about something. Using her left hand to write while for the right hand she uses for mixing for her coffee. How a pumpkin pie always seem to be her comfort food. And how her eyes always began to soften more whenever he was on sight.

How the hell did he not notice before?

Maybe it was all because he was focuses on his hatred for her and her disgustingly wrong crimes. But now that changed. Though, he still does not support her actions, he began to see how she does it less and less the more he continues to be on her side.

Maybe...

It isn't so wrong to love this woman... and it truly isn't. As more time passes by, he just fell deeper and deeper for this magnificently gorgeous woman. Up to her witty and clever mind and down to her elegance and grace.

He was glad, thankful for the gods, for him to be blessed to meet this fantastic woman.

Although, he wants to tell her everything she needs to know about his feelings, will she accept him? Will it be alright for her to date someone like him? Someone who isn't even human?

His insecurities got the best of him, as those thoughta fogged into his mind. That is why, he decided to be a coward and waits for her to make the move first, just like before.

And then... that time came.

She told him to meet her in a random apartment rooftop, and there she was. Clad in a deep red dress with the finest fabric and immaculate embroidery. Her matching cherry heels gave her the height to be even taller than she already is to him, her neat white cloak moved with the nightly breeze giving her appearance a majestic look.

All in all, she was still the utterly beautiful person she is the moment he first saw her. Ruby orbs made contact with his blue ones, her intense gaze made him want to sweat a litte if not for her shocking and hurtful words.

"I will be leaving soon, back to my home, to where I belong."

What? she will be leaving? and will stay in her home country forever? Permanently? he... he doesn't even know if he can wait for that long! He asked, why?

"I have a mission for myself there, Blue. I have completed mine here in new york, and it's... time for me to accomplish what I must--"

He can't believe he actually cutted her off, he can't even hear the words he just said to her, but by the look on her face, he believed it must have struck a nerve in her strings. Her pretty red eyes were narrowed, her neat brows were pinched together, her nose scrunched up in a scowling matter, and her mouth formed into an unpleasant frown.

Uh oh.

Not only is she angry, but she still looked oh so gorgeous too! He would have smiled if it weren't for her displeasured face.

"You cannot stop me, even if you can, I will refuse to heed by your wishes. Now leave me be. or I will rip off your tongue along with your intestines."

She is really mad, even of all the times she did get annoyed by him, she never really threathened him. Even if she did, it was not as serious as she was here. Her mouth was sharp, and the words she spat at him hit like a bullet to the heart. Yet even words like hers were poison to his throat, it still felt good. Because no matter how many hurtful things she can do to him, he will accept it.

No matter what it is. No matter how hard it will destroy his body, he can accept anything with a proud smile on his face.

Just don't. Do not leave his side.

He begs for the heavens that the woman infront of him, facing him with a cold look, does not leave new york. He is willing to do anything, anything to make the love of his life stay. Not a minute or month longer, just to permanently stay where she is now.

He can't comprehend exactly what he was saying. What he cares about was her, and her only. His eyes solely staying on her delightful frame still glaring harshly at him with her stone cold eyes. How he would gladly drown in those lovely eyes of hers forever... Anything she will demand for, will be given right at her beck. He will proudly give her the stars, the moon, the sun, the world, and of course, his very own being, just to let her know.

Who has owned his heart.

And to whatever he was telling her, got her to ease her venom-like gaze down. Looking at him with an expression he can't really grasp onto, what he can only see was an understanding and... relieved look?

Why was she relieved? is what he asked her, directly to her face.

And she fortunately answered.

"Well, I... I just didn't expect for you to feel the same as I am. Of course, I am going to be relieved."

Ah. His face can only feel the burning flush of red as it spreads like fire on his face, eyes directly at her form. A chuckle escapes from her mouth, and this does not help the ever growing crimson on his face as he covers himself with his palms, desperately hiding himself even he himself knew it was all too late now. But, she pulls them down to get a good look on his face.

She smiles. And that is just what he has been looking for, all his life. Yet another smile to brighten up a dark night when it needs to.

"I promise you. I will come back. We will be reunited as soon as I am finished with my mission there. It will only be for two years, I won't be long. Believe me, there is no one else I would rather see than you. So, wait for me, my love."

He will. If it means that she will be back, then, he will gladly wait for a thousand years if it meant so much.

"Thank you. I will miss you, Leo."
