Restaurant Trek in Bikini Bottom, Part 2:
Story continues...
Spongebob, Patrick, and the Loud family continued walking through Bikini Bottom...
Lincoln: Well, where should we go next?
Patrick: Say no more. We'll show you some more good restaurants here.
A montage happens.
First, Spongebob, Patrick, and the Loud family went to Super Weenie Hut, Jr.'s, where they each had a hot dog, (with mustard) a banana split, and a diet cola with a lemon twist. Then they went to Bunny Buns Pizzeria and Arcade, where they all shared pepperoni pizza and chocolate. After that, they went to the Fancy! restaurant, where they had a feast of spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread. Finally, they were all outside Fancy...
Lincoln: Wasn't that enough of a restaurant trek?
Leni: Not yet. I know of one restaurant we hadn't went to yet.
Everyone started at Leni in surprise...
Rita: What restaurant, Leni?
Leni stared blankly for a moment, and says, 'The Chum Bucket.'
Spongebob and everyone else in the Loud family gasped in horror, while Patrick just stared in space...
Leni: (a little confused) What?
Lincoln: Leni, chum is horrible!
Luan: Yeah, you could lose your taste buds forever! And that's no joke, trust me!
Leni: Believe it or not, while I was binge watching 'Spongebob' earlier, I saw an episode that had made chum so edible,
you could eat it!
L.J.: Show us this episode!
Leni put on the 'Spongebob Squarepants' episode 'Chum Fricasse,' the Loud family watched it. 11 minutes later, everyone was amazed that, with the right recipe, chum could be edible...
Lola: Whoa, that's incredible.
Lana: Something that tastes disgusting can end up tasting great if it's done right.
Lincoln: There's one problem. It would take exactly 24 hours...
Lisa: (interrupts) One full day.
Lincoln: (continues) ... for it to be fully cooked, and we can't wait that long. We gotta get back on the cruise ship before dark.
Rita: Is there a way that the chum could be cooked faster and still be perfect?
Patrick: (raises his hand) Oh, I could eat it!
Everyone looked at him for a moment...
Luan: Maybe you can, Patrick, but we'll stick to having it cooked.
Spongebob suddenly remembered something, 'I know someone who might be able to help!'
The next place they were all at was the treedome of Sandy Cheeks, a Texan squirrel. The Loud family had their air suits off, while Spongebob and Patrick had on water helmets.
Sandy: I believe I might have something that could help food cook faster.
Lincoln: What do you have that could speed up cooking, Sandy?
Sandy: Let me check in here.
The squirrel checked a boxed case, looked around in it for a bit, and found something...
Sandy: Aha!
She held up a golden two prong meat fork, and said, 'Poke this special meat fork in the food you're going to cook. If that food takes at least 1 hour to be ready, [poking it before you cook it would actually have to be fully cooked in only one minute!'
Leni: Is chum affected with poison?
Sandy: Well... I don't think so.
Lincoln: My second-oldest sister here protects plants, and will investigate if something bad is going to happen.
Luan: Could we borrow that thing? If this fork can help cook food faster, we'd like to see it for ourselves.
Sandy looked at Spongebob and Patrick, then to the Loud family. Reluctantly, Sandy gave it to Lincoln, and told him, 'Be careful with this.'
Lincoln: We will, Sandy.
Leni: Now, let's head to the Chum Bucket!
Cut to the Chum Bucket, where Spongebob, Patrick, and the Loud family, were outside. (with the Louds and Leni back in the air suits)
Lincoln: Well... (gulps) here we go!
Everyone went into the Chum Bucket, and saw the owner, Sheldon J. Plankton, standing on the counter...
Plankton: Why, welcome to the Chum Bucket! Would you like to sample some chum?
Lincoln: Actually, we would like to take out 1 pound of chum.
Plankton was surprised, and says, 'Really? You don't want to eat it in here?'
L.S.: We have a plan to eat this chum off premises.
Lincoln: Here is $100 dollars if we can get this chum for take-out.
Lincoln handed plankton a $100 dollar bill. Plankton then smiles, and says, 'Coming right up, sir!'
A little while later, Plankton came out with a huge tray (one pound) of chum...
Plankton: Here is your pound of chum. Enjoy!
Spongebob, Patrick, and the Loud family then headed to the next place to get the chum cooked, Squidward's Easter Island head home.
Rita: Well, that squid might need to be convinced, but I think with the right idea, he may do it.
Lana: Okay, let's see what happens.
They were at Squidward's house. Squidward had an annoyed look on his face, but Lisa replied, 'Good squid, how would you like to use this chum we brought over? We could make it worth your while.'
After a moment, Squidward says, 'Come in.'
Everyone was in Squidward's kitchen, placing the tray of chum into his oven...
Squidward: You do know it has to be cooked for exactly 24 hours, right?
Leni: I have a special power that could help cook it in only 24 minutes instead!
Squidward: Could you show me?
Leni: I would only do that for special reasons, and this is a special reason, so, yes.
The squid was full of glee when he heard this...
Leni: First, I spin my hand around, (She does so) then, I point my hand at the chum...
She then had the golden meat fork hidden behind her hand, and Squidward was believing her when he saw that the chum was glowing...
Lincoln: (comes in) ...then, we close the oven, turn it on, and cook it for 24 minutes! (sets the timer)
Everyone waited for the chum to finish cooking. When the timer ringed, L.S. turned off the oven, took the tray of chum out, and put it on the table...
L.S.: Now, let's see how it tastes.
All 12 members of the Loud family got out a spoon, and took a bite...
L.J.: Wow, this is really tasty!
Rita: Yes, I'm impressed.
Squidward: (chuckles) Why, thank you, ma'am. (turns to Leni) Would you like to help me serve everyone in bikini bottom this faster way of making chum edible?
Leni: Oh, I'm sorry, Squidward, I can't. There's a city in the surface world that needs my lot a lot more.
Squidward then had a disappointed look on his face. After everyone finished the chum...
Lincoln: Well, we better be going.
Luna: Yeah, we need to get back to the cruise ship.
The Louds said goodbye to Squidward, and then they, Spongebob, and Patrick walked to where they first came from the surface world, by the island...
Leni: Thanks for showing us those great restaurants, you cool underwater sea sponge and sea star!
L.J.: And for the delicious food!
Spongebob/Patrick: You're welcome!
Spongebob: Come back again!
Patrick: Goodbye!
Spongebob and Patrick then waved to the loud family, and just before they went above the surface, the Louds waved back. It was now sunset, and they got back on the ship, and then took off their air suits...
Lincoln: We sure had a great time!
Leni: Yep!
Luan: Now, it's time for us to get to Paris.
L.S.: All aboard for Europe!
The cruise ship left the small island, and was now sailing to the European continent. But the Louds had an excellent time going underwater, seeing Bikini Bottom, plus Spongebob and his friends, and got to eat a lot of great food. For them, this was a fun start before they would have more fun in Europe.
