In honor of 1989 TV's release, I'm publishing the second one-shot. I'm not sure if there will be another one, as of right now I'm leaning toward no, but if I have the urge to write it, I will. I'm sorry that I'm posting it the day after the release day, but the website wasn't letting me post-it would keep on freezing.
Thanks for reading!

Bella's POV
"Oh, c'mon, Edward," I say, swatting his arm.
"What?" he laughs. "It's true!" He's practically cackling.
I just shake my head and turn back to Alice, who's smiling. "Just ignore him. Apparently, he wants to be immature today-" I'm cut off by Edward lifting me into his arms, and I squeal. "Hey, precious cargo here!" He chuckles and puts me down gently. "You and your inhuman strength," I tease, shaking my head.
"You better watch it, Bella," he threatens with a smile.
"You know you could never harm me," I say with an innocent smile.
"Do you want to test that theory, Bella?"
I shake my head. "Nah, I'm good for now. Thanks for asking."
Edward laughs in response, rolling his eyes. "Suit yourself."
Carlisle and Esme enter the room, startling me. "Are we interrupting something?" Carlisle asks.
"Oh, nothing. Just your son be his normal moody self," I respond. Edward starts tickling me and I screech. "No-stop," I breathe.
Carlisle chuckles. "Well, we'll leave you to it. Alice?"
"See ya, Bella," she says, waving.
I wave back and elbow Edward. I realize that's a bad idea when it feels like my elbow hit granite. "Fuck," I hiss, cradling my elbow.
"What did I say?" Edward says with a small smile. He inspects my elbow, gently massaging it. He then moves his hands to my swollen stomach. "Are you sure about this, Bella?"
I nod. "I already said yes. And I'm ready to give birth any day now. I'm not turning back now."
Edward sighs and nuzzles my neck. "You do realize the birth will kill you, correct? That you will be turned-"
"-into a vampire. Yes, I get it, Edward. All of you have been telling me that since I became pregnant. I already told you, I'm willing to be turned into a vampire. You know that's what I always wanted-to be with you forever." I trace his jaw with my fingers, moving them to his lips. I lean in and kiss him, making him sigh against my lips. I withhold a shiver from his cold lips and deepen the kiss. His tongue touches mine and my hands move to his hair. He hugs me close, tracing my curves with his hands. I lean backward, ready to take this to the next level-
A sharp, white-hot pain shoots through my lower body, causing my legs to give out. Edward catches me, laying me on the couch. "Bella?"
"I-" I start, but the pain comes again. I scream, writhing in pain.
"Carlisle!" Edward shouts, running me up to his office, now converted hospital. I squeeze his arm, trying not to scream. It's no use; the pain is overwhelming.
Carlisle meets us, Esme and Alice in tow. "Oh God!" I scream as another wave of pain shoots through my body. Edward lays me on the bed and steps back.
"Take off her pants, Edward. I'll cover her with a sheet. Move it! Alice, make sure your siblings don't come wandering up here. Esme-"
"I'm staying, Carlisle. I can do it," I hear her respond. I feel a cold hand grab mine, squeezing. "I'm right here, Bella."
I nod and scream again, the pain escalating. I close my eyes, hoping this will all just go away. "Get this thing out of me!" I hear a crack and scream so loudly I lose my hearing for a second.
"Carlisle!" Edward says.
"Go support her, Edward. She's going to need it." I feel another hand grab my remaining one.
"I'm right here, Bella," Edward says, kissing my forehead. I can feel sweat dripping down my face…or is that blood?
"Bella, I'm going to need you to push," Carlisle instructs. I comply, trying to just stop the pain-
I hear another crack, making it hard to breathe. My eyes shoot open; I try to get oxygen, but it's not enough…
"Bella, stay with me," Edward says, taking my face in his hands.
I'm struggling to breathe, my breaths becoming shallower. "I…can't…breathe…" I pant, screaming again when another flash of pain hits.
"Her lung was punctured!" Carlisle shouts, frantically trying to save me. I writhe in pain, collapsing my legs. "Bella, don't!" Carlisle grabs my legs, forcing them up. He puts them in stirrups, strapping me in place. "Push!"
I try to, but nothing seems to work. I'm pushing for minutes, or maybe even hours and nothing has happened. Something else cracks, making me screech. "Edward," I cry. I can feel tears leaking from my eyes. My eyelids become so heavy, and I'm so close to drifting off…
"Bella, don't. Stay with me," Edward says, making me focus on him.
"Edward-"
"You are not doing that, Carlisle," Edward growls.
"Edward, I've run out of options. Hold her down."
"Bella, Bella, look at me. You need to keep looking at me," Edward says, putting his arms over me, and locking me in place.
"Edward, make it stop," I whimper. I'm so tired.
"I'm right here, Bella. Don't look away."
"Esme, do it," I hear Carlisle say.
"Bella, I'm sorry," Esme says.
I feel a sharp pain in my stomach, pressure building. I cry out, crescendoing into a scream when the pressure becomes unbearable. "Edward, tell me what's going on," I screech.
"Bella, push," Carlisle instructs. I bear down, trying to get rid of the pressure.
"Bella, you don't want to know," Edward responds.
"Yes…I…do…" I pant. I can't breathe again. I scream when another contraction hits.
"Esme's pushing on your stomach to help you push," Edward murmurs. "Just a little-" Edward's head whips away from my gaze. "Don't you dare," he hisses.
"Edward, this isn't working; it's the only way," Carlisle says.
"Bella, listen to me. Whatever you do, don't look away from me, and don't let go of my hand," Edward says, turning back to me.
"What's going on?" I whimper, my eyes fluttering close. They shoot open when another contraction hits, forcing me to push. I scream again, another crack audible.
"Bella, this will hurt," is all I get out of Edward. I notice him nod and squeeze his eyes shut. I feel Carlisle's hands, stretching, and then-
"Oh my God!" I screech, squeezing Edward's hand tightly. I feel some sort of rip and stretching; I scream the loudest I have. "Make it stop! Edward, please, make it stop!"
Edward just looks at me sadly. "It's almost over."
"Please," I whimper, "make it stop."
"Bella, one more push," Carlisle says from between my legs.
I push as hard as I can and hear something crack. I hear a baby's cry and finally, darkness takes over me.
Edward's POV
"Please," Bella whimpers, "make it stop." Oh, Bella, how I wish I could.
"Bella, one more push," Carlisle says.
Bella screams once more, a crack echoing through the room. And then she goes limp. I notice the loss of her heartbeat. "No, Bella. Stay with me," I say, starting to give chest compressions. "Carlisle, we've lost her."
Carlisle curses under his breath. "Her spine is broken. Esme, take the baby." Esme steps forward, and I look to see our baby. "You have a daughter."
"So Bella was wrong," I muse.
"Edward, I need your assistance," Carlisle says. I rush over to him. "Grab the syringe with your venom and put it in her heart." I go to the drawer and grab the syringe. I rush over to Bella and stab her in the heart with it, pushing down the stopper. "Do chest compressions to try to get it to move faster. If she doesn't turn quickly, she's gone."
I start doing the compressions. "Please, Bella," I murmur. "Come back."
After a while, nothing seemed to change. "Carlisle…is she really gone?"
Carlisle shakes his head. "Try to bite her wrists. Be careful; don't let the urge overwhelm you." I do, being very cautious. Once that's done, Esme hands me the-my-baby. "That's all we can do for her right now, Edward."
I nod, glancing over at Bella. "Please, Bella, wake up."
Carlisle places a hand on my shoulder. "All we can do is hope. Why don't you show your siblings their niece?"
I nod again and head downstairs. All of my siblings run supernaturally to me, cooing and gasping over my-our-daughter. I pray that Bella will come back; I can't and won't go on without her. I-
And that's when I hear it. "Edward?" she whispers. I rush back up the stairs and burst into Carlisle's study, our daughter in my arms. And there Bella lays with her eyes open, her body looking in every way a vampire. She looks directly at me and smiles, then glances at our baby. "Renesmee," she whispers. She stands up and meets us, grabbing her. I put my arms around them, ready to protect them against anything.
