Sasuke, Sakura & Sarada
As her dark cerulean eyes bore into the disbelieving gaze of the Uchiha and his… wife, the Higurashi woman could not help but flicker her attention to the onyx eyed little girl that was staring at her in curiosity from behind a pair of red glasses. A frown touched her lips at the sight of her, wondering if she was being vindictive by shattering Sasuke's perfect little world that he had created for himself after all these years.
And maybe she was… just a little bit.
Sasuke's one visible eye trembled, as he tried to ask, "They're… they're...?"
Nodding a bit stiffly, she quickly glanced away from him when his eye sparked with the Eternal Mangekyou. Even a fraction of a second could result in her drowning in that crimson gaze as he raided her psyche for the answers he no doubt sought, and she refused to play his game in that moment. Not when...
"You're… you're lying!" The pink haired woman standing near Sasuke shook her head, her mouth open in shock as she tried to regain her husband's attention. Her fist clenched when he refused to acknowledge her presence, unable to look away from the sight of this other woman… and… and... "Sasuke…?"
"Don't call my mother a liar!"
Though she snorted in response to the somewhat expected shout from the Uchiha's wife, the Higurashi woman turned her head toward the scowling dark haired teenager standing on her left. Placing a gentle hand on his shoulder, she smiled softly when he turned onyx colored eyes in her direction and then looked guiltily toward the ground. "There's no need for any of that, Hiromitsu," she sighed. "We're not here to fight."
"But, mother…!" the young boy protested.
"Nii-san," an annoyed voice cut him off, saying, "do you always have to cause trouble for mother everywhere that we go? I swear, you're so immature sometimes."
"Shut up, Sakuya!" His scowl quick to return, Hiromitsu turned to the nearly identical boy standing nearby. Only his apathetic, blue eyed gaze marked him as any different, as they began to glare lightly at one another. "Who asked you?"
Sakuya rolled his eyes, obviously not impressed by his brother's display.
"That's enough." Sighing quietly when the two boys turned to stare in opposite directions, determined to ignore each other once again after such a long journey, she slanted her eyes back toward Sasuke. She blamed him and his Uchiha blood entirely for their stubborn nature and desire to compete with one another, as childish as the thought was.
"When did you know? Was it before you disappeared?" Sasuke asked once he had her attention. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Despite the resemblance glaring her in the face, Sakura reached out for him, saying, "Sasuke… surely there's… a mistake. They can't be…"
"...mom?" Sarada blinked, glancing between her parents when her father seemed to completely ignore them.
"I looked for you, Kagome! I looked everywhere!"
"Yeah." Her eyes flickering to his pink haired wife and his daughter, Kagome released a short laugh. It was a bitter, harsh sound that seemed to cut off in the middle, and she was not surprised when she felt Sakuya's hand settle against her arm in concern. She smiled a bit at her son, before taking a glance toward Hiromitsu to find him outright scowling at the older Uchiha and father figure he had never known. "I can see that."
Sasuke closed his eyes for a moment, as he admitted, "If I had known... if you had told me, I would have never…"
"...Sasuke?" Sakura looked absolutely stricken.
He clenched his fist, refusing to look away from her cerulean stare and hoping that she would understand that he never would have abandoned his search for her if he had only known. He would never say that he regretted Sarada being born, but… "Why didn't you tell me that you were pregnant, Kagome?"
"There was a war going on," she spat, feeling her temper start to flare. "You were… hellbent on following Madara after you found out the truth about your brother, Sasuke, and he… I wasn't about to let that madman find out that I was carrying your child. I wasn't about to hand over my child for… for the sake of the Uchiha!"
Sasuke scoffed, saying, "I would have protected you."
"Protected me?" Kagome growled. "All you wanted to do was destroy everything!"
"They're my sons!"
Sarada frowned, watching as her mother put her hand over her mouth at the argument beginning to ensue in front of them. She could not help but flick her onyx colored gaze back toward the two boys that looked so much like her father and her, though, despite one of them obviously having inherited his mother's eyes. The young Uchiha girl bit her lip at the festering, uncertain thought that emerged the longer she looked at them standing next to their dark haired mother that they clearly resembled.
Why was it that she did not look more like Sakura?
"Mother," Sakuya said softly.
Even Hiromitsu sighed, saying, "...we're… not here to fight."
"Right," she breathed heavily through her nose. Focusing on the glowering Uchiha across from her, she sighed a little knowing that he was obviously displeased at not getting all the answers he wanted out of her. "I brought the boys here because they need you, Sasuke. They have the Sharingan, but..."
"The Sharingan…" Sarada whispered, her tiny voice filled with reverence.
Sasuke's visible eye flickered, pride and curiosity flooding his features with the simple statement.
"Show your father."
As their eyes shifted, Sakura gasped, "W-what… that's not the Sharingan, it's…"
"...blue?"
Hiromitsu sputtered, nearly yanking his chin away when the older Uchiha appeared in his face and pulled his face up to inspect the kekkei genkai. He growled a little when he heard Sakuya attempt to cover up his laugh by coughing, and chose to glare heatedly up at the man that their mother claimed to be their father instead. "It's always been blue, so what?"
"It should be crimson red," Sasuke told him flatly. He turned his head to look at the dark haired Higurashi, asking, "Do you think it's a mutation due to your own kekkei genkai?"
"It might be," Kagome shrugged. "They haven't exhibited mine, though, so I don't know. And even if they did, I wouldn't be able to properly teach them how to control it if it's concentrated solely in their eyes. The barrier might manifest itself differently, like… a form of Susanoo or something, despite not having the Mangekyou. I just don't know." Her gaze softened, watching as Sasuke turned Hiromitsu's head from side to side. "That's why they need you. You can help them, can't you, Sasuke?"
"Kagome." Catching her attention, he quietly promised, "I'll do everything I can for our sons."
Flickering her eyes back toward his gaping wife and curious daughter, the Higurashi only nodded a little, saying, "...right."

Note: I'm not really sure why I wrote this, considering my extreme displeasure with the ending of Naruto and the entirety of the Boruto series, but it is what it is. Probably won't extend on it because of that, though. lol
Sasuke and Kagome's son's are Hiromitsu, meaning "wide light," and Sakuya, with the kanji to translate as "new moon arrow," both of which are references to Kagome's more miko past. She would have named them before she discovered Sasuke had gotten married and had a child, since they are roughly three or four years older than Sarada in this particular case. - Kiba
