The Bad Wolf II
I know that the last chapters torture scene wasn't very well written but this sort of style isn't what I normally write and I'm not very good at it.
I got to know Rory really very well. Of course I did, the great Doctor abandoned him there for almost two thousand years and I couldn't just leave him there all alone. What I ended up doing, was staying with Rory for a while (a few years at a time), then leave for a bit to save some people (because even though the universe is tiny at the moment there where still people I could, and should help) and then go back to see Rory. I'm now roughly about 2547 years old. Today is a very important day. Today the Pandorica opens.
Rory and I have been hiding in the museum for several years (ever since the the Pandorica was moved hear), and Rory has started wearing the security uniform, but I am still wearing my red dress (yes I have worn the same dress for well over a thousand years).
The audio visual presentation of the history of the Pandorica starts again on a nearby screen.
"They appears as an iconic image in the artwork of many cultures, the Last Centurion and the Woman in the Red Dress. There are several documented accounts of their appearances, and their warnings to the many who attempted to open the box before its time. Their last recorded appearance was during the London blitz in 1941. The warehouse where the Pandorica was stored was destroyed by incendiary bombs, but the box itself was found the next morning, a safe distance from the blaze. There are eyewitness accounts from the night of the fire of a figure in Roman dress and a figure in a red dress, carrying the box from the flames. Since then, there have been no sightings of the Last Centurion and the Woman in the Red Dress, and many have speculated that if they ever existed, they perished in the fires of that night, performing one last act of devotion to the box they had pledged to protect for nearly two thousand years."
There is a muffled Scottish voice talking another Scottish voice and then the sound of a Dalek saying that the intruder is unarmed. I look over at Rory and nod, we both step into the light
"Do you think?" We both say in synchrony before we both shot the Dalek, me with my gun and Rory with his Auton hand.
"Vision impaired! Vision" The Dalek says.
The Dalek stops.
"Amy!" Rory shouts.
"Rory!" Amy shouts back.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. It just happened." Rory says, talking about the fact that he accidentally killed her.
"Oh, Shut up." Amy says before passionately kissing Rory.
"Yeah, shut up, because we've got to go. But before you go, who's your friend?" The great Doctor says.
Rory begins to answer but I cut him off and say, "Oh I'm so hurt, the great Doctor doesn't remember me. Of corse it's been far longer for me than you, and you've regenerated but I still recognise you, what's your excuse?" I start walking towards him and say "I'm" one step forward, "The" another step forward "Big" another step "Bad" I come to a stop just in front of him and say "Wolf" as I lower my hood effectively allowing him to see my face.
"Rose," he almost whispers "But that's impossible,"
"Don't you dare call me that name!" I biting out each word.
The Doctor look surprised, it was almost as if he expected me to jump into his arms after he yet again abandoned me.
"I'm thirsty. Can I get a drink?" The young Amelia said.
"Oh, it's all mouths today, isn't it. The light. The light from the Pandorica, it must have hit the Dalek." The great Doctor say.
The Dalek's weapon starts to move.
"Out! Out! Out!".
We get to the museum reception and a still clearly shaken Doctor says to Rory "So, two thousand years. How did you do?"
"Kept out of trouble."
"Oh. How?"
"Unsuccessfully, even with Tunie's help" Rory points at me and I give the great Doctor a sarcastic wave little wave.
"The mop! That's how you looked all those years ago when you gave me the sonic." Rory says after the great Doctor picks up a mop.
"Ah. Well, no time to lose, then." The great Doctor presets the button on the vortex manipulator and disappears.
He reappears and puts the mop through the door handles to the Anomaly exhibition before saying "Oops, sorry.""How can he do that? Is he magic?" Little Amelia asks.
"No sweetheart, he's just using some stolen technology like the awful thief that he is," I tell her, bending down to her level (even after a over a thousand years of getting use to it bending down in this corset is incredibly painful. Good, I deserve all the pain I can get).
"Right, let's go then. Wait! Now I don't have the sonic. I just gave it Rory two thousand years ago." The great doctor says before disappearing again.
"Right then." The great Doctor says when he reappears as he retrieves his screwdriver from big Amy's pocket. "Off we go! No, hang on. How did you know to come here?" He asks little Amelia
Little Amelia shows him a leaflet and a post-it note.
"Ah, my handwriting. Okay." He says before grabbing a new leaflet and post-it note from the information desk and vanishing. He returns with the drink and hands it to little Amelia saying "There you go. Drink up."
"What is that? How are you doing that?" Grown up Amy asks.
"Vortex manipulator. Cheap and nasty time travel. Very bad for you. I'm trying to give it up." The great Doctor answered, it seems he is as immature as ever.
"Where are we going?" Big Amy asked
"The roof." The great Doctor tells her.
A second Doctor appears further up the stairs, without the fez, and falls down them. His clothes are smoking.
"Doctor, it's you. How can it be you?" Rory asked, panicking slightly.
"Doctor, is that you?" Big Amy asked panic clearly clouding her voice.
"Yeah, it's me. Me from the future." The Doctor says.
The future Doctor suddenly wakes up and whispers in the Doctor's ear, then falls back again.
"Are you? I mean, is he, is he dead?" Big Amy asked.
"What? Dead? Yes, yes. Of course he's dead. Right, I've got twelve minutes. That's good." The great Doctor answers seaming far to calm for having just seen himself die.
"Twelve minutes to live? How is that good?" Big Amy asked.
"Oh, you can do loads in twelve minutes. Suck a mint, buy a sledge, have a fast bath. Come on, the roof." The great Doctor said, still abnormally calm, which means that he isn't actually dead, he just needs up to believe that he is.
"We can't leave you here dead." Rory said.
"Oh, good. Are you in charge now? So tell me, what are we going to do about Amelia?" The great Doctor days and I finally speak up and say "Oh, it's just so awful that he doesn't want to leave your dead body lying on the ground. As for little Amelia, she's been erased from history," I semi-yelled.
"But how can I still be here if she's not?" Big Amy asks and I begin to answer but the great Doctor cuts in and says "You're an anomaly. We all are. We're all just hanging on at the eye of the storm. But the eye is closing, and if we don't do something fast, reality will never have happened. Today, just dying is a result. Now, come on!"
"He won't die. Time can be rewritten. He'll find a way. I know he will." Amy says and Rory covers the dead Doctor with his jacket.
"Move it! Come on!" The great Doctor says but I stay behind to quickly take the vortex manipulator of his wrist, it will be useful to have and then climb up to the roof.
"What, it's morning already? How did that happen?" Amy asks.
"History is shrinking. Is anybody listening to me? The universe is collapsing. We don't have much time left." The great Doctor said as if I hadn't just minutes ago explained it myself. He then sonicks a satellite receiver dish off its pole.
"What are you doing?"Rory asked.
"Looking for the Tardis." The great Doctor says.
"But the Tardis exploded." Rory tells him.
"Okay then, I'm looking for an exploding Tardis." The great Doctor says as if it was obvious.
"I don't understand. So, the Tardis blew up and took the universe with it. But why would it do that? How?" Amy asked.
"Good question for another day. The question for now is, total event collapse means that every star in the universe never happened. Not one single one of them ever shone. So, if all the stars that ever were are gone, then what is that?" The great Doctor said pointing at what appeared to be the sun but was clearly his exploding TARDIS "Like I said, I'm looking for an exploding Tardis."
"But that's the sun." Rory tells him.
"Is it? Well, here's the noise that sun is making right now." The great Doctor said as the 'sun' makes a whooshing sound that I haven't heard in a few thousand years (I've always remember to take the hand break of).
"That's my Tardis burning up. That's what's been keeping the Earth warm." The great Doctor says again pointing out the obvious.
"Doctor, there's something else." Rory says.
"I'm sorry Doc," a voice I don't recognise says.
"There's a voice." Rory says.
"I can't hear anything." Amy protests.
"Trust the plastic." Rory tells her.
"I'm sorry Doc. I'm sorry Doc. I'm sorry Doc." The voice says.
"Doctor, that's River. How can she be up there?" Amy says.
"It must be like a recording or something." Rory guess.
"No, it's not. Of course, the emergency protocols. The Tardis has sealed off the control room and put her into a time loop to save her. She is right at the heart of the explosion." The great Doctor explains.
"I'm sorry Doc. I'm sorry Doc. I'm sorry Doc."
The great Doctor teleports into the TARDIS and comes back with a woman who is presumably River. River says, "Amy! And the plastic Centurion?"
"It's okay, he's on our side." The great Doctor assured her.
"Really?" River asks.
"Yeah." He tells her.
River notices me and grins widely before throwing her arms around me and excitedly saying "Auntie Wolf! I didn't know you would be here!"
"Um, do I know you?" I ask her. She looks at me like I was her best friend and had just betrayed her horribly before saying "Apparently not yet. Anyway I dated a Nestene duplicate once. Swappable head. It did keep things fresh. Right then, I have questions, but number one is this. What in the name of sanity have you got on your head?"
"It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool." The great Doctor says
Amy snatches the fez and throws it into the air, where River shoots it into pieces.
"Oh!" The great Doctor says and then the Dalek rises up above the parapet. Something clicks in my mind.
"Exterminate!" The Dalek says.
"Run, run! Move, move. Go!" The great Doctor says.
"Come on!" Rory yells at them.
The great Doctor uses the satellite dish as a shield and they get back into the museum. I however have just figured out how to bring the universe back.
The Pandorica is the perfect prison and thus it still contains billions of atoms from the complete universe. That's how it brought the Dalek back even though Daleks have never existed. The Pandorica just needs a big enough power source, and we have an exploding TARDIS. I just have to fly the Pandorica into the great Doctors TARDIS and everything goes back to normal. Yes I will cease to have ever existed, but then maybe the other universe wouldn't have died so this could save two universes, and you have to admit that would be a win anyway you look at it.
I get to the Pandorica and start to wire the vortex manipulator that I pinched of the great Doctors 'dead' body. It only takes me a few minutes and when I have just finished, all the others come rushing in holding up a dying Doctor.
"Tunie!" Yelled Rory.
"Why did he tell us he was dead?" Amy asks still highly confused.
"We were a diversion. As long as the Dalek was chasing us, he could work down here. Except I worked it out before him, stole the Vortex Manipulator and did everything myself."
"Auntie Wolf, what are you you doing?" River asked.
"What's happening?" Rory asks.
"Reality's collapsing. It's speeding up. Look at this room." River tells them.
"Where'd everything go?" Amy asks.
"History's being erased. Time's running out. Auntie Wolf, what were you doing? Tell us."
"Big Bang Two." The great Doctor answers them before I get a chance to and I glare at him.
"The Big Bang. That's the beginning of the universe, right?" Rory asks.
"What, and Big Bang Two is the bang that brings us back? Is that what you mean?" Amy asks.
"Oh." River says, clever girl she's figured it out.
"What?" Amy asks.
"The Tardis is still burning. It's exploding at every point in history. If you threw the Pandorica into the explosion, right into the heart of the fire." River tells them, I think I like her she's very smart.
"Then what?" Amy asks.
"Then let there be light. The light from the Pandorica would explode everywhere at once, just like he said earlier." River finishes telling her.
"That would work? That would bring everything back?" Amy asks.
"A restoration field powered by an exploding Tardis, happening at every moment in history. Oh, that's brilliant. It might even work. She's wired the vortex manipulator to the rest of the box." River explains.
"Why?" Amy asks.
"So she can take it with her. She's going to fly the Pandorica into the heart of the explosion." The great Doctor says. "Rose you can't, it'll kill you."
"Don't call me Rose, I haven't been Rose in a very long time." I snarl at him. "Rory I'm sorry, I'm going to miss you. River, I'm sorry I'm never going to meet you. Amy, I'm sorry I'm never going to get to know you. As for the great Doctor I my have the same face but I am not Rose, not anymore, Rose died a very long time ago, and today you get to save the world and lose me. What could be better?" I said that last sentence just to hurt him, and from the expression on his face it worked. I press a few buttons and the Pandorica's door closes and I shoot into the heart of the great Doctors TARDIS.
Everything burns, I am quite literally being burnt but I can feel the universe being put back together piece by piece. Just when I expect to be erased everything stops and I land on the floor of the great Doctors TARDIS. How's that possible, I should be erased from time. I deserve to be erased from time. Alright no point complaining, I get up and wobble towards the door.
"Goodbye Old Girl, I've certainly missed you," I yell to the TARDIS.
"Goodbye my wolf," she telepathically says back.
I step out of the great Doctors TARDIS and see my TARDIS standing beside her. My TARDIS did use to have a working chameleon circuit, but when we crashed back in this universe it broke and she now looks like a red telephone box which seemed strangely fitting, so I kept it.
It seems like we've landed near a wedding, there is a banner across a building saying 'congratulations Rory and Amy' I've landed at Rory's wedding what a brilliant coincidence. I'll just pop into my TARDIS to take off my cloak and then I'll go inside to congratulate the happy couple.
I hang my cloak up on a hook by the door and go inside the wedding venue. My heels click against the linoleum (my shoes have a very distinctive clicking sound, I think it has something to do with the fact that every step I take I literally have a spike being driven into my foot) and sit down at a table and watch as Amy and Rory spin round the dance floor patiently waiting for Rory to notice me.
River sits down beside me.
"You're from my future aren't you," I say to her.
"Yeah I am, I'm a circular paradox," she says back.
"I'm sorry that would be horrible. If you see the great Doctor tell him that his TARDIS is outside. Oh, here's your Vortex Manipulator back"
"Why don't you tell him yourself?" River says and I look round to see the great Doctor coming over to me and when I look back at River, we'll she has disappeared, it seams like she wants me to talk to him.
"Rose why do you hate me?" He asks sitting down next to me.
"I'm not Rose," I say and turn away from him."
"Okay, Okay," I don't need to turn around to now that he has his hands in the air in mock surrender, "Why do you hate me?"
"How could I not,"
"R… Bad Wolf why?"
"You have abandoned me so many times, how could I not. Let's not argue and spoil Amy and Rory's big day."
"Yes, okay. But can you at least tell me how you survived, you should have been erased from time?"
"My best guess is that I am too connected to the time vortex in this universe to die. Your TARDIS is outside, bye bye." I can hear the great Doctor sign before standing up and leaving.
Rory sees me and comes over with Amy in tow. I spend a few hours talking to them.
I am The Bad Wolf
I am the Great Exterminator
I am the Killer of All
I am the Destroyer of A Universe
And There's No One I Hate More Then Myself
I hope this is good, we are only two chapters in and it already has a higher word count than The Widow. The next chapter has Jack Harkness in it so that will be fun, although I'm not very good with innuendos so we will have to see how well I do with writing him (I'm saying this like all the other characters aren't all supper OOC) have a lovely day,
