Chapter 3
I don't own Star Wars, or its story.
I was sitting in the officer mess of the GAR, talking to my republic colleagues. A young Oberst named Veers, was asking me: "Not to me rude, or imply anything, however you are extremely young to hold such a high rank?" Nodding I answered him: "Yes, I am after all only 27. That has the following reason that, do to our location at the edge of the known galaxy. We are in a constant struggle with races coming from the unknown regions, which has resulted in a high casualty rate among the officer corps, as well as many opportunities to win honour and promotion. This is especially true for the currently serving officers as at the point in time there was a large, corps and army level, conflict with an, as of the current time unknown entity." The young staff officer seemed surprised at that, as matters of the far edges of the galaxy were mostly unknown in the core. He was starting to ask me something else, as my comlink started blinking. I polity excused myself to speak with my chief of staff. "Von Mällentin?" "Field Marshal, the reorganisation you ordered, has been completed, due to the mobilization ordered on the 12th of July, the reinforcements you have listed in your orders, have arrived. I simply called to notify you that the reorganisation has been completed and to send you the final table of organisation." Thanking him, I ended the call to look up the document, my trusted chief of staff sent me.
First Army organisation as of the 27th of July:

-2nd Mech-Div
-11th Mech-Div

As I was scrolling through the only concerning thing I could notice was that the 11th Artillery-Div still had no commanding officer. After reading through the list, I glanced at my watch, after realising that I only had 15 minutes left, till I had to be ad the chancellors office.
