There is a small lemon toward the end of the chapter. This is my first time actually writing a lemon. I'm not completely happy with it but if I waited until I was this chapter may never get published. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter.

The next three days were stressful. Rosalie and the others did their best to distract Bella from Charlie's screams but nothing seemed to work. Every time Charlie screamed Bella would stop what she was doing and look toward Carlisle's office. The guilt was overwhelming to Jasper. More than once he had to leave to regain control over himself.

Surprisingly Emmett was the best at keeping Bella distracted. He had gone out and bought a Wii along with Mario Party and Mario Kart. It was a much-needed distraction for Bella and when she wasn't at school, she was usually playing with Emmett.

This allowed Rosalie to speak to the others about the plan to take out the remaining two nomads and deal with Edward. She wouldn't hide anything from Bella. But she at least wanted something concrete, something positive, to tell her scared mate.

Alice knew the moment the change coming to an end. Charlie's future was once again clear for the first time in days. Emmett, Peter, Charlotte and Jasper jumped into action and ran to Carlisle's office. Emmett was in front. Charlie was least likely to react to him since he wasn't covered in scars.

Rosalie and Alice stayed by Bella's side for the time being. Rosalie hadn't left Bella's side since Charlie was attacked, not even to hunt. It wouldn't be long before Jasper would have to force her out of the house to hunt.

The first thing Charlie noticed was the lack of pain. It had been so long since he'd been pain free. First with the attack and then with the burning. While most of the burning disappeared, there was a burn in his throat that remained. The next thing he noticed was that someone was in the room with him.

Faster than he thought possible he was off the couch and into a crouch, growling at the person. "Nice going Emmett," Jasper hissed.

"I didn't do anything," Emmett defended.

"Who are you?" Charlie demanded. He frowned at the sound of his voice. It was still deep and sounded like him but there was a musical note to it. It was strange. He cocked his head to the side. "Wait, I recognize you. You're one of the Cullen boys… Edwin or something."

Jasper and Peter snickered from out of room. Charlotte wacked the back of their heads. "I'm Emmett, Chief Swan," Emmett introduced. "The others thought I would be best to see you first."

"Others…" Charlie repeated. His memories of before were hazy. The pain was the clearest but there were a few things he could remember including… "Bella," he exclaimed, moving toward the door.

His path was suddenly blocked by three vampires, including Emmett. The other two, one with red eyes and the other Charlie recognized as Jasper, Bella's friend. Each of the men was covered in scars that was sending Charlie's fight or flight response into overdrive. The only thing keeping him in place was the thought of Bella.

"We need to talk before you can see her," Jasper said calmly. Charlie's eyes locked on the mark just below his jaw. "Terrifying, aren't they? Bites marks from my past. Same with Peter here."

"Where's Bella?" Charlie demanded after several minutes. He did his best to avoid looking at the scars. As long as he didn't pay attention to them, his instincts were mostly under control.

"She's in the other room," Jasper said. "You cannot see her until we talk."

Charlie growled. "You can't keep me from my daughter." He tensed up, ready to fight if it came to that.

"I'm not trying to keep you away from her," Jasper said. Charlie was really starting to hate how calm he was. "But I will keep her safe. Even if I have to keep her safe from you."

"I would never hurt her," Charlie snarled, lunging for Jasper's throat.

Emmett and Peter grabbed ahold of Charlie before he could touch Jasper. "Release him," Jasper commanded. Peter was quick to follow the command but Emmett hesitated. "Release him," Jasper repeated. He locked eyes with his brother. "He worries for Bella's safety and doesn't understand what is going on. Can you say you wouldn't react the same?" Emmett let him go and took a step back. "How much do you remember Charlie?"

Charlie frowned. "There was a woman," he said thinking back. "She said her name was Victoria and she was a friend of Bella's." Jasper and Emmett growled. Not a friend, Charlie noted. "She said something about Bella keeping secrets. That she was hanging out with…with vampires. I didn't believe her. She…" he shook his head. "I don't remember."

"She is not a friend of Bella's," Emmett spat. "She's trying to hurt Bella."

"The vampire part is true," Jasper said. Though he sounded calm, he was anything but calm. He couldn't wait to rip her and the tracker apart. "Victoria and another vampire have been targeting Bella. At first it was for Edward but we think they've both gone rogue."

"Edward," Charlie repeated. "What about him? I remember Bella mentioned him one or twice after she moved here but that's it."

Jasper sighed. "Edward seems to think Bella is his mate…his soulmate," Jasper elaborated feeling Charlie's confusion. "She is not. Bella is Rosalie's mate and the entire family can confirm that. The problem is, Edward is still convinced and his actions have already led to Bella getting hurt." Charlie growled. "We're doing everything we can to protect her, but unfortunately, you were hurt in the process. Rosalie and Bella arrived at your house to make dinner for you, but when they got there Rosalie realized you were hurt but alive. You agreed to turn and Rosalie bit you."

Charlie nodded in understanding. "I get that but what does that have to do with me seeing Bella?"

"Charlie," Peter said getting the newborn's attention. "I'm Peter by the way, Peter Whitlock. My mate, Charlotte, is in the hall. Anyway, vampires are strongest and most uncontrollable during their first year. Vampires typically care little for anything but sex and blood. Since you're not mated, I believe your instinct have adjusted into protecting your child. Very admirable. The issue, however, is that we don't know how strong your bloodlust will be. We don't know if it will be safe for Bella. Based on experience, most likely not, but we're willing to try for yours and Bella's sake."

"But there are some conditions that need to be met before you're allowed to see her," Jasper added.

"What kind of conditions?" Charlie asked suspiciously.

"Any questions you may have need to be asked now and any questions we have need to be answered honestly," Peter said. "There's also a matter of Bella herself."

"What about her?"

"You have to stay across the room from here," Jasper said firmly. "It's the safest for her. This way if you do try to attack, we can intervene much easier. It also means you can't touch her, or hug her. With how on edge Rose is, it's probably for the best anyway."

Emmett shuddered at the reminder. He'd hugged Bella but squeezed her a little too tight. Before he even had a chance to release her, Rosalie had thrown him threw her window. Esme didn't have the heart to scold her for it. She simply fixed the window while Bella was at school.

"Is Bella safe with Rosalie?" Charlie questioned. He wouldn't let anyone, even a supposed mate, hurt his daughter.

"There is no one safer for Bella to be around," Jasper said honestly. Charlie nodded. That's all that mattered to him. "Ask your questions. I know you have a few."

"Your eyes," Charlie said. "They're gold but his," he pointed to Peter, "are red. Why?"

"Most vampires have red eyes," Peter said. "It means we feed from humans. Char and I choose questionable humans, drug dealers, the old and dying, rapists and so on. Your eyes are also red because you just turned. Your body is feeding off what's left of your own blood. Because you lost so much blood it won't last long."

"Mine and the rest of our family's eyes are gold because we feed from animals," Jasper explained. "Don't ask why they're gold," he added when he felt Charlie's curiosity, "we really have no idea. But after a while of only feeding from animals they'll fade. It's up to you what you choose to hunt. Carlisle's lifestyle only works if it's what you want."

Charlie glanced at Peter. "If you and your…mate you said?" Peter nodded. "If you two are hunting humans then why are you around Bella?"

"Jasper has known us for over a century. Jasper even turned the both of us," Peter started. "We're nomads. We wander around, hunting when needed but don't really have a home. We came because Jasper wanted help protecting Bella from Edward and a couple more nomads. We don't hunt around Forks out of respect for Jasper and Carlisle and we would never hurt Bella."

"I want to see her," Charlie said firmly. "I need to see her."

Jasper sighed. They could only put this off for so long. He was hoping Charlie would be willing to hunt first but he could tell from the man's emotions that wasn't going to be an option. "Fine," Jasper agreed. "But you're hunting right after."

Charlie followed Jasper and Emmett to the living room. He could hear a heartbeat in the house and knew it had to be Bella. He didn't have a heartbeat anymore which meant neither did the Cullen's. The only one that did was Bella.

The longer he listened Bella's heart, the more venom pooled in his mouth. He swallowed it back. He could not, would not, hurt his only child. He would suffer through any pain to prevent that.

"Try not to breath too much," Emmett suggested helpfully. "Humans can be hard to be around, even for us. We know it it'll be even harder for you."

They walked into the living room. Jasper and Peter were on either side of Charlie, with Charlotte in the back and Emmett in the front. Charlie was a little annoyed but didn't say anything. His eyes darted around the room. Carlisle and Esme were standing near them, watching Charlie. He ignored them for now. He spotted Bella on the couch, in Rosalie's lap, with Alice sitting next to them, showing Bella a magazine. Rosalie's arms were wrapped around Bella and her head was resting on Bella's shoulder. They looked good together, Charlie had to admit. He was glad Bella had someone, even if it was a vampire.

"Bella," he said taking one step forward. He took Emmett's advice and held his breath, surprised that he could go indefinitely without oxygen.

The others moved with him. "He's fine," Alice told them. They backed off slightly.

Everyone seemed convinced he was going to attack Bella. How did Alice know he wasn't? Not that it mattered. He was just grateful someone seemed to have faith in him.

"Hey Dad," Bella said looking up from the magazine. She looked like she wanted to come to him but couldn't. He wasn't sure if she was resisting on her own or if Rosalie was forcing her to stay in place. He hoped it was the former. He didn't want to think about Rosalie forcing her to do anything. "How are you feeling?"

"Strange," Charlie admitted. "Everything is so sharp and clear. It's like putting on glasses for the first time. I would feel better without all these bodyguards though?"

Bella laughed and Charlie smiled. It'd been a while since he'd heard her laugh so freely. "I'm sorry," Bella said softly. Charlie frowned. "For lying to you for so long, about the Cullen's… about everything."

"I get it Bells," he said. He hated that she lied to him but he understood. He never would have believed in vampires if Victoria hadn't attacked him. "Thank you, Rosalie, for saving me and for being there for Bella."

Rosalie nodded. "I did it for Bella," she responded. "But I'm glad you're okay."

"And this Victoria chick that attacked me?" Charlie asked looking around. The others growled.

"We'll kill her," Peter promised.

"Good," Charlie said, taking a deep breath. He didn't realize, until it was too late, that it was the exact wrong thing to do. All he could smell was blood. Deep down he knew it was Bella and he didn't want to hurt her but that blood was intoxicating. He couldn't resist the call, he had to have it.

"No," Alice shouted just as Charlie lunged for Bella.

Rosalie was off the couch and crouched down in front of Bella before Bella could register what was happening. Peter, Jasper and Emmett grabbed ahold of Charlie before he could take one full step. Carlisle and Esme instantly moved in front of Bella and Rosalie. They weren't crouched down but they were ready to defend if needed.

Charlotte raced forward and helped Emmett push Charlie back. Jasper was using his gift to try and calm Charlie but it was a lot more difficult to control blood lust, especially for a brand new vampire. He knew this was a bad idea and he should have listened to his instincts. But he couldn't deny that Bella had calmed down a lot since laying eyes on Charlie. Alice was right about that. He hoped this would be enough to convince Charlie he couldn't stay here for now, that it was safer for him to go to Alaska and get control.

The four didn't release Charlie until they were into the woods. Jasper nodded to Peter and Charlotte and they left to go on patrol. Newborns didn't do well with being surrounded, especially during a hunt. Emmett and Jasper would have to be enough.

"Do you understand now?" Jasper questioned. "Do you see why it's so dangerous for you to be around Bella?"

Charlie nodded. Jasper could feel the shame coming off of him. "Why did you allow it then? If you knew I was going to try and attack."

"Alice can see the future," Jasper explained. "It's highly subjective and based on decisions. But between her and the four of us we knew Bella would be safe. Bella needed to see you. She needed to reassure herself that you're okay. And you needed to see that it's not safe to be around her. I know you love your daughter. I'm an empath, I can feel it. But right now, the best thing for her is for you go to Alaska and gain control."

Charlie wanted to protest. He couldn't leave Bella alone when a vampire was hunting her. Two vampires actually. If he hadn't tried to attack he would have fought harder. But Jasper was right. He could have killed her and that would haunt him for the rest of his life… well existence. As much as he didn't want to admit it, Bella was better off with the Cullen's right now.

"Okay," Charlie agreed sadly. "I'll go. But I want updates and I want to talk to her on the phone."

Jasper nodded. "We can do that. I'm sure Bella would love to be able to talk to you on the phone."

"I'll be going with you," Emmett added. "So, you wouldn't be completely alone."

"Where am I going?" He knew it was Alaska but didn't know much more than that.

"There's a coven in Alaska much like ours," Jasper started. "They live in Denali, a secluded area with few humans. Tanya, their coven leader, has offered to host you for as long as needed. They offered to help here as well but we declined for the time being."

Charlie nodded. "Okay," he said. "When do we leave?"

"As soon as you hunt," Jasper told him. "You'll be running with Emmett, through the woods away from humans. Alice has seen the path is clear. She's ordered you clothes and books which will be sent to the Denali house."

"Do I get to say goodbye to Bella?"

Jasper and Emmett exchanged looks and Jasper shook his head. "No," Jasper said after a minute. "It's not safe for Bella. But you can call her as soon as you get there. Come on. I'll show you how to hunt."

Bella stared at the spot where Charlie had been dragged from the house. "Bella," Rosalie said softly. She gently touched Bella's arm. Bella glanced at her. "Are you okay?"

Rosalie carefully lifted Bella and sat on the couch, with her mate in her lap. "Yeah," Bella answered. "I… I'm not sure what I was expecting when he woke up."

"A monster?" Rosalie suggested.

"No," Bella exclaimed. "I never thought he would be a monster. I guess I wasn't expecting for him to still be himself. I almost forgot he was a vampire. Well until…"

"He didn't want to hurt you," Rosalie said softly. "Vampires really struggle the first year or so. The fact that he lasted as long as he did before attacking is amazing. How you do you feel now that you've seen him?"

"Better," Bella admitted. "It feels like… I don't know, like a weight has been lifted."

"Good," Rosalie said relived. She hated to see her mate in pain. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to dinner with me tonight?"

"Like a date?" Bella asked. Rosalie nodded. "Is it safe?"

Alice took that moment to come back into the room. "That diner just outside of town. It'll be safe. Peter and Charlotte will keep an eye on the area."

"Thank you Alice," Rosalie said. Alice disappeared back upstairs to finish her shopping for Charlie and Bella. "It's nothing fancy I know, but if you would like to go out, and maybe discuss some of the things you told me at the beach."

Bella blushed at the reminder. She should have known Rosalie would remember what she said but part of her was hoping the vampire had forgotten. She didn't know if she could say those words again. But she had meant it. She wanted to try being intimate with Rosalie, even if she wasn't entirely sure it would go well. But she couldn't be a victim forever. She wanted to try and move on with her life. And she never would if she didn't take these steps forward. "Okay," Bella agreed. "The diner is fine. You know I don't like anything fancy."

"Why don't you get ready?" Rosalie suggested. "I'll get an update on Charlie while you shower."

Once Bella was upstairs Alice came back into the living room. "Charlie's fine," Alice told her. "Jasper is taking him hunting and then Emmett will take him straight to Alaska. The Denali's will look out for him."

"Are we sure sending Charlie to the Denali sisters is a good idea?" Rosalie questioned.

The Denali sisters had a reputation among vampires. The legend of the Succubi, beautiful women that preyed on men, originated from the Denali sisters. The one thing that the legends got wrong was that the Denali's didn't limit themselves to men. They had lured plenty of women into their beds over the years as well.

"Charlie will be fine with them," Alice promised. "Tanya will proposition him and he will reject her. All he cares about is protecting his daughter and he'll do whatever it takes to accomplish that."

"How long will he be gone?" Rosalie wanted to know. As his sire she was a bit more invested in his wellbeing then the others, just like Carlisle was with them.

"I don't know," Alice admitted. "It won't take him the full year, that much I know, but there's too much going on. Too many decisions, his and ours."

Rosalie ran a hand through her hair. There were so many decisions and each one would affect their lives in some way. She was terrified of making the wrong choice and Bella getting hurt as a result. "Have you seen what happens tonight?"

"Bits and pieces," Alice admitted. "Once I saw the direction the night was going… well I stopped looking at yours and Bella's future and focused on the others."

"So, it does happen?" Rosalie asked curious. She knew she made her decision but she wasn't entirely sure about Bella and if she would be comfortable.

"It does," Alice confirmed. "I can't tell you much since I stopped looking."

"Just… can you tell me if she gets hurt, physically or mentally?" Rosalie requested. She looked at Alice. "Please Alice. I have to know."

Alice closed her eyes. Once in a while she would make a face when she saw something she didn't want to see. "No," Alice said after a minute. "She won't be hurt. It'll go a long way for her recovery and… I'm not sure but it seems like the bond will settle a bit."

"I bite her," Rosalie said horrified. It was almost impossible for a vampire to bite a human and not inject venom. If she did bite Bella, she either changed her or managed to accomplish something that not even Carlisle could do.

"No," Alice said quickly. "You didn't bite her." Rosalie sighed in relief. "Your scent becomes mixed with her, like what usually happens during sex. But because she is your mate, the scent doesn't disappear. It fades a bit but its not completely gone. It seems that's enough to calm the bond on her side. She'll do better without you, for longer periods of time, but it's still not enough."

"I don't know if I can do this Alice," Rosalie admitted. "I'm terrified I'll do something and hurt her in some way. I know you say I don't but I can't shake that fear."

Alice hugged her sister. "It's okay Rose," Alice said softly. "My first time with Jasper was rather difficult. Though he wasn't hurt in the exact way as you and Bella, he was heavily manipulated and abused by Maria. She used to punish him over every little thing. A newborn acted out and he got punished. It came to the point where he couldn't handle being touched because he didn't know what to expect. It took years for him to realize I wasn't going to hurt him." Rosalie looked at her, unsure what to say. "The point is, be patient with her and with yourself. It's good to be scared for her, but don't let that fear take over. She loves you and she wants you. Trust that she knows what she's doing, even if it appears that she doesn't."

"Thanks Alice," Rosalie said gratefully.

Alice hugged her. When she pulled away she noticed Rosalie was looking up, toward her bedroom. "Go to her," Alice said. Alice saw Rosalie about to protest. "Seriously Rose, trust me. Go to her."

Rosalie obeyed her sister and made her way upstairs to her bedroom. The shower was still running which didn't surprise Rosalie. Bella did enjoy long showers. She sat on her desk chair and grabbed one of her car magazines to flip through it while she waited.

She heard the shower shut off a few minutes later. She continued to flip through her magazine. She was looking for another project to start. This time she wanted to rebuild a car for Bella. It would be a gift, possibly for graduation, Rosalie hadn't decided when she would present it. She was really liking the idea of graduation. With any luck Bella's truck wouldn't last that long so Rosalie would have a better reason for giving her a car.

The door to the bathroom opened and Bella walked out, wearing nothing but a towel. Rosalie looked up and almost dropped her magazine in surprise. Bella blushed. "Sorry," she said. "I…uh…I thought you were going to be downstairs and I didn't think about grabbing clothes before I showered."

"Do you want me to leave?" Rosalie questioned. She really hoped Bella said no but if she wanted privacy then Rosalie would give it to her.

"No," Bella said quickly. "I'm happy you're here." She walked toward Rosalie, stopping right in front of her. Rosalie tossed the magazine to the side and held out her arms. Bella crawled onto her lap. She sighed. This was the most comfortable place to be.

"I thought you wanted to go to dinner," Rosalie muttered.

"Later," Bella said, turning so she was facing Rosalie. "You're comfortable and I don't want to move."

Rosalie laughed. She gently stroked Bella's thigh, just below the towel. "We can stay here as long as you want," Rosalie promised.

"Do you think the others are mad at me?" Bella questioned. Rosalie's hand stilled.

"Why would you think they're mad at you?" Rosalie asked confused.

"Because we keep going out where it's not safe," Bella answered. "I'm sure it makes their jobs harder."

"Bella," Rosalie said. "They're not mad at you. They know we cannot keep you locked in this house. They understand that you deserve to live your life. You don't need to feel guilty for that." Bella eyes met hers. "What's wrong?"

"It's nothing," Bella said quickly. Rosalie raised an eyebrow at her. "Really, it's nothing. It's just… sometimes I miss your red eyes."

Rosalie had made the decision to stick to animal blood for now. It made it easier to be out in public that way. Now that she had been sticking to animal blood, her eyes were back to that same gold the others had. "Maybe one day I will get them back," Rosalie said softly. She didn't really care one way or another what she fed on. She did like the human blood better, not that she would ever admit it to the family, but she could feed on animals easily enough.

Bella was content in Rosalie's arms. She would happily stay in Rosalie's arms forever if she could. "What did you want to talk about?" Bella questioned.

"You mentioned you wanted to try and have sex," Rosalie started. "I imagine you have questions though. I wanted to give you a chance to ask."

"Will you be okay?" was Bella's first question.

Rosalie shook her head. "This is about you and what you need love," she said gently. "But, to answer your question, yes I will be fine."

"Will it hurt?" Bella whispered.

Rosalie tightened her grip on her mate. She hated that, that was even a question. It was a reasonable question. She wondered the same thing when she was first with Emmett. It was Emmett that calmed her. "There will be some discomfort," Rosalie admitted. "But not pain. If you're in pain then it isn't being done right. If you're in pain you need to tell me and I will stop."

Bella nodded against her. She trusted Rosalie and if Rosalie said there shouldn't be pain then she believed her. Rosalie was the one person she trusted the most. As much as she loved and trusted Charlie and the rest of the Cullen's, Rosalie would always be her priority.

Which was why she made a sudden decision, a decision she knew Alice had to have seen. It embarrassed her but at the same time it didn't.

Bella pulled herself from Rosalie's arms, something that was a lot more difficult than she expected, and stood up. She stared at Rosalie. Her dark gold eyes were full of confusion. She undid the towel and threw it to the side. She watched Rosalie's eyes darken slightly.

She didn't look down at her body. She didn't want to deal with the embarrassment that was sure to come. She'd been naked in front of Rosalie a few times but this time was different. This time she wanted Rosalie to touch her.

She took a deep breath before walking back to Rosalie. Rosalie immediately reached for her hand. "Are you sure Bella?" she questioned. "I don't want you doing this because you think you have to. We can wait if that's what you need."

Bella straddling Rosalie's lap. "I'm sure," she said. "I love you Rose. I want you… just, go slow, please."

Rosalie leaned forward and kissed her softly. "We'll go as slow as you want," she promised. She ran her fingers along Bella's collarbone. The bone was sticking out more than it should. The nomads and Edward were taking a toll on her body. Rosalie hoped it would be over sooner rather than later.

"Wait," Bella called as Rosalie's hand hovered just above her left breast. Rosalie immediately dropped her hand. "Your clothes… can you take them off?"

Bella climbed off Rosalie's lap and Rosalie stood. She pulled her shirt over her head. "Are you sure?" Rosalie questioned, her hands hovering over the front clasp of her bra.

Bella stepped closer to Rosalie. She gently pushed her hands out of the way and undid the bra herself. She pushed it off her shoulders and watched it fall to the ground. "I'm sure," Bella said. "Your body… the coldness, it's always been a comfort to me."

Rosalie took off her pants and underwear before leading Bella to the bed. She sat down and pulled Bella on top of her. She resisted the urge to react to the feeling of Bella's naked body pressed against hers. Tonight wasn't about her. Tonight was about Bella. Her pleasure didn't matter. If needed she would take care of herself later.

Rosalie kissed her again. This time harder. Bella grabbed her arms, unsure where else to touch. Bella's mouth parted slightly and Rosalie took advantage. She slipped her tongue in and paused, waiting to see what Bella's reaction was.

There was no negative reaction so Rosalie pressed forward, allowing her tongue to touch Bella's for the first time. Bella moaned softly in her mouth. Rosalie could smell Bella's arousal. She pulled away to allow Bella to breath.

"You need to tell me if you get uncomfortable," Rosalie reminded her gently.

"I'm okay," Bella told her. "All I have to do is look at your face and I know I'm okay."

Rosalie ran her fingers down Bella's body. She lightly touched her breasts, circling her nipples with her index finger. She felt Bella shudder in her arms. She gently pinched the left nipple and Bella gasped.

Rosalie watched Bella's face the entire time she touched her. She looked for any sign of discomfort, any sign that Bella wanted her to stop, but she didn't see any.

She continued down Bella's body and stopped. Bella seemed to sense her hesitation. She grabbed Rosalie's hand and guided it to her center. She moaned softly when Rosalie touched her.

Rosalie took her time exploring Bella's body. Bella was wet for her which excited Rosalie. Her fingers glided through Bella's folds. She circled her clit and smiled when Bella moaned again, louder this time. She moved her fingers down, circling Bella's entrance. Bella tensed slightly. "It's okay," Bella said. "Do it."

Rosalie pushed the tip of her finger inside of Bella, up to the first knuckle. She paused to allow Bella a chance to adjust. After a minute she pulled her finger out and circled her clit again, before pushing her finger in further.

She felt Bella clench around her finger. She wanted nothing more than to plunge another finger inside and feel Bella clench around her even more but she didn't. Rosalie slowly pumped her finger in and out, allowing Bella to adjust and decide if she wanted more, or if she wanted her to stop.

"I love you," Rosalie muttered before kissing her again. She felt Bella's walls tighten again.

"I love you too," Bella said. She put her arms around Rosalie's neck and held her close. "More," she pleaded.

"Are you sure?" Rosalie questioned. She slid her finger out before adding the second. She kept the rhythm slow, wanting Bella to be completely comfortable.

"Yes," Bella moaned. "Go…faster, please."

Rosalie did what her mate requested and pumped her fingers faster and faster, until Bella arched her back, moaning softly, and drop against her. It was the quietest orgasm she had ever heard but that didn't bother her. Rosalie moved her fingers slowly to help Bella ride out the orgasm before carefully removing them. She wiped her fingers on the bed. She wanted to taste her mate, but now wasn't the time. She didn't want to make her uncomfortable.

Tears dripped onto Rosalie's shoulder, startling the vampire. "Bella," she muttered frantically. "Bella, talk to me love."

Bella lifted her head to look at Rosalie. "I'm okay," she promised. She wiped away the tears but they kept falling. "Really, I am. I'm…happy. I never imagined anything could feel like that and you were so sweet the whole time. I guess I got a little overwhelmed."

Rosalie sighed in relief. She never would have forgiven herself if she hurt Bella in any way. "You're really okay?" Bella nodded. "Good."

"I should shower again before we go," Bella said.

"No," Rosalie said. "Don't shower." She nuzzled Bella's neck and placed a kiss right above her pulse point. "You smell like me. I like when you smell like me."

Bella wanted to protest but decided against it. She liked that she smelled like Rosalie, even if she couldn't smell it herself. She climbed off the bed and headed to the bathroom. "No shower," she promised. "I'm just going to freshen up a bit."

Rosalie got dressed and grabbed some clothes for her mate. She was sure Bella would be a bit sore so she picked sweats instead of jeans to make her more comfortable.

"Alice," Rosalie said loud enough for her sister to hear but not Bella.

"I'm sure," Alice said from downstairs.

"Did you know?" Rosalie asked. She pulled on a black tank top.

"I knew it was a possibility," Alice answered. "Bella hadn't made up her mind for me to know for sure. There was also the possibility of your car and the woods." Rosalie shook her head at the thought. She was glad Bella chose her bedroom. "I left once Bella had made her decision. I patrolled around the house and kept the others away."

"Thanks Alice," she said.

The bathroom door opened and Bella stepped out. She was still naked but she didn't seem as embarrassed at being naked as she was before.

"I laid out some clothes for you," Rosalie told her. "You don't have to wear them if you don't want to."

Bella studied the clothes and found they were Rosalie's. "I don't mind," Bella said with a small smile. "I like wearing your clothes."

Bella quickly got dressed and they left the bedroom.

Edward watched his former house from the safety of a tree. His nostril's flared and his gold eyes were almost black in his fury. How dare Rosalie touch his mate in that way? He originally wasn't going to do anything to his family. He would simply take his mate and they would leave together.

But now… now he was going to kill Rosalie. She defiled his mate and he couldn't forgive that. For now, the nomads would serve as a distraction while he worked on his plan. Bella was never left alone so the only way he could get to her is if James or Victoria were to distract her protector.

He grinned and jumped from the tree. He was far enough from the house that no one would notice his scent right away, but still close enough to see and hear the house.

He ran to Port Angeles before pulling out his phone. He dialed the now familiar number and waited. "What?" the voice demanded.
