Chapter 9: The Second Titan Blader
Gingka approaches Kyoya and Benkei, who were looking at a white symbol with a red question mark on it.
Benkei: Have you been here before? You're navigating the island like it's nothing.
Gingka: Oh no. See, when I interact with these things marked with this symbol, I automatically learn the lay of the land. It's like the island is beaming a GPS signal right into my brain. Pretty cool, right?
Kyoya: I'm sure that's the Ancients' doing as well. I wonder what that symbol means in their language?
Gingka: Come to think of it, you don't actually see it printed anywhere in the villages. I guess the true meaning is lost to time.
He then solved the island mystery, revealing another part of the map.

Gingka made it to another part of the island and some robot bladers battled them. He launches Pegasus and the bey defeats the robot beys and the bots self destructed.
Gingka: Okay. Now to get back in cyberspace, even though I was just in there. (He noticed a cyberspace portal and inserted the portal gear, activating the portal) Let's go Pegasus.
A shine flashes on Pegasus and Gingka puts his hand on the portal, which starts to take him back to cyberspace.

Gingka goes back into the cyberspace version of Koma village and sees Rock Aries spinning in the Green Hades stadium.
Gingka: The green hades? Okay. Time to take this on again. (He launches Pegasus into the stadium and the bey charges towards Aries) Go now Pegasus! (Pegasus attacks Aries, but gets pushed back) Okay. Let's try this on! (Pegasus launches into the air) Go! Special move! Pegasus, Starbooster Attack! (Pegasus charged towards Aries in a burst of speed and slams into it, causing the bey to fly out of the stadium, defeating it and Pegasus returns to Gingka.) That was awesome!
He then went to the portal and exited cyberspace.
Gingka returns to Ares Island and heads to the main part of the island. He starts looking around.
???: 3, 2, 1, let it rip!
The blader launched his bey towards Gingka, who jumped out of the way.
Gingka: What the?!
Silver approached him.
Silver: This Titan blader has a hard time controlling his temper, so you better watch out.
(Play Cutscene: Mysterious Girl from Sonic Frontiers for the rest of this section)
The Titan blader appears and his name is Agito.
Agito: My bey is Nightmare Rex. Time to take you down!
Gingka: (Launches Pegasus) We need to find someplace safe!
Gingka runs and his bey starts following him.
Agito: Get back here!
Agito and Rex follow them. Pegasus and Rex start clashing hard and Rex sends Pegasus flying.
Gingka: Pegasus!
Agito: Attack him harder, Rex!
Rex continues attacking Pegasus harder.
Gingka: Pegasus, counter his attacks!
Pegasus and Rex continue clashing in the Ares Island sand and their bladers start running while they continue clashing.
Agito: You're going down Hagane! Go Rex!
Rex slams Pegasus through rocks.
Gingka: Okay! It's time to finish this chase! Go Pegasus! (Pegasus launches into the air after using a rock as a ramp) Special Move: Pegasus Starbooster Attack!
Pegasus attacks Rex hard from above, sending the bey flying and he starts running off.
Agito: So arrogant! Special Move: Elemental Rage!
As Gingka and Pegasus start to hide behind a rock, Rex's special move attacks them from behind the rock and as the smoke clears, Gingka sat down exhausted while Pegasus continues spinning.
Gingka: My goodness, that's a powerful bey.
Agito: For a legendary blader, he was so cowardly. (Rex returns to him.) I'll be training and waiting for him.
He leaves and Silver approaches Gingka, who is behind the rock.
Silver: You cannot run forever. Final warning: leave.
Silver leaves him alone and walks away while Gingka stands up and Pegasus returns to him.
Gingka: That was a "warning"?
(Play Ares Island: 2nd Movement again)
Gingka leaves from his hiding spot and starts searching for Kyoya and Benkei.
Gingka: Hmm. I wonder where Kyoya and Benkei went off to. Eh, probably trying to find ways to help me.
He then sees an opening to the next part of the island. He starts to approach the opening, but Silver blocks his path.
Gingka: What the...
Silver: You... again... Do not interfere with my work.
Gingka: Um, I don't even know what work I'm interfering with! Look. Just a second to tell me who you are, what's going on, and why you want look like you want to smite me on the spot?
Silver: That is irrelevant. Knowing. Not knowing. It will change nothing. There is nothing you can do.
Gingka: Huh?
Silver: Father was right about you. You're reckless and destructive.
Gingka: I have no idea what your deal is, but if we could just talk--
Silver: No! No discourse, No bartering, Only elimination!
She launches Cyber Aquario and the bey charges towards Gingka, who launches Pegasus.
Gingka: Look! Why are you interfering with my goals to save my friends?!
Silver: Your goals? Ha! Don't make me laugh! All your goals do is put people in danger!
Gingka: How?! I save the world from L-Drago's control on Ryuga! I save the world from Hades Inc! Heck, I even saved the world from Nemesis, the god of destruction!
Silver: Oh really? What results would've happened if you didn't defeat them?! There would've be millions of casualties happening if you lost to those three combined, according to my calculations!
Aquario slams Pegasus harder.
Gingka: I prevented those casualties from happening!
Silver: Is that so? The great Gingka Hagane, so full of himself and always endangered everyone.
Gingka: Hey! Madoka said that I would never endanger anyone! I still remember those exact words she said to you at that last island!
Flashback to chapter 4
Madoka: What is wrong with you?! Gingka would never endanger anyone! He's even going to help this Koco reunite with their one true love!
End of flashback
Aquario continues clashing with Pegasus.
Gingka: Okay, so that Agito guy is a strip up to Takeru. Very mobile. It's going to end the same way.
Silver: How are you able to utilize Pegasus' abilities? I must reassess the battle parameters. I cannot afford to have you win again.
Gingka: Well, y'know. You can call it off and let me save my friends in peace? (Silver gives him an angry glare.) No? Find, we'll do it your way. But I won't lose to you again!
Pegasus pushes Aquario back.
Silver: Ugh... Looks like your bey has gotten stronger since the last time we battled.
Gingka: That's because I was training to defeat the Titan bladers. And honestly, I'm willing to let bygones be bygones if you tell me how to restore my friends. Kyoya, Benkei and Madoka are all ghosty. Kinda like you.
Silver: All data within cyberspace is restricted to outsiders.
Gingka: You see. That's the thing. They're kinda half in, half out. Can you at least tell me if they're going to be okay?
Silver: Their conditions are stable. They are hovering between the digital dimension and this one, but their lives are not at risk.
Gingka: That's a relief. Sort of. Thanks for answering!
Silver: You're welcome. Wait a minute, why am I wasting my time talking to you?! Attack him harder, Aquario!
Aquario and Pegasus continued clashing hard.
Gingka: Pegasus! (Pegasus slams Aquario and starts charging towards its opponent.) Go! Final Drive Mode! (Pegasus actives it's final drive mode) Special Move! Pegasus Cosmic Tornado!
Pegasus charges towards Aquario and is about to slam into the bey.
Silver: Special Move: Infinite Cyber Crush!
Both special moves collided and Aquario's special move overpowers Cosmic Tornado and Aquario begins to charge towards Pegasus.
Gingka: Pegasus!
Silver: It's over!
Just as Aquario gets closer to Pegasus at a full rate of speed...
Kyoya and Benkei: Let it rip!
They launched Fang Leone and Dark Bull, which are corrupted, and the two beys slam into Aquario.
Silver: What the?!
Kyoya: King Lion Crushing...
Gingka runs in front of them.
Gingka: Whoa whoa whoa! Time-out!
Kyoya: What do you mean by "time-out?!"
Benkei: Yeah! She attacked you!
Gingka: Yeah, it's kind of her thing. But she's trying to protect something--or someone. (To Silver) I'm willing to help but first I need to know what's going on.
Silver: No, you don't know what you're talking about!
She calls off her bey and vanishes.
Kyoya: You're too trusting, Gingka.
Gingka: No I'm not. Trust me.
Kyoya grunts in anger. Gingka, Kyoya and Benkei call off their respective beys and go through the mountains.
Kyoya: Reminds me of Wolf Canyon.
Benkei: Yeah.
They made it out of the mountains and see the next part of the island. The robot bladers launch their beys.
Gingka: Let it rip! (Pegasus attacks the beys, quickly defeats them all and returns to Gingka.) Okay. Let's continue on.
He then noticed a guardian blader.
Sumo: So, you must be Gingka Hagane.
Gingka: Yes, but who are you?
Sumo: My name is Sumo. (Pulls out his bey) And this is my bey Crash Scorpio!
Gingka: You own a Scorpio bey? Okay then. Let's battle!
Gingka and Sumo set up their beys.
Gingka and Sumo: 3, 2, 1! Let it rip!
They launch their beys.
