It took several days until the plan was ready to go into effect. Not only were they trying to go over every detail and every possible outcome but they wanted to wait until they weekend before finally ending Edward and Victoria. Rosalie didn't want to affect Bella and Angela's education. Bella protested but Rosalie held firm. Edward had ruined enough of her life. And so, Saturday was the day they chose to end it all.

Friday night was a bit stressful for Bella. She had assurances from everyone that this would go well. According to Alice, there would be no deaths but there was potential for injuries. There were too many possible outcomes to be sure though.

If Edward managed to hurt Rosalie, Bella would be more than happy to light the fire that ended him herself. She was still angry about the bite mark Rosalie received from James. She wouldn't allow anyone else to mark her.

Jasper looked up from the chess board. Why Bella agreed to play chess with him, she wasn't sure. She wasn't a fan and the only one that came close to his skill was Carlisle.

"You're not focusing Bella," Jasper said gently.

Bella met his eyes. They were bright gold from hunting a few hours ago.

"I'm terrible at chess," Bella pointed out. It was true. The only one that was as bad, or perhaps worse than her, was Emmett and that was because Emmett didn't have the patience to play.

"That's not the reason," Jasper said.

Bella sighed. She moved her bishop, only for Jasper to turn around and take it. "You're right," Bella replied. "I'm… I don't know, anxious. If all goes well, this time tomorrow Edward and Victoria will be dead. After everything, it seems too good to be true."

Jasper leaned back in his seat. There was a reason the two of them were playing chess despite Bella's lack of skill. Rosalie was worried about Bella and Bella wasn't talking to her for whatever reason. As Jasper was closest to Bella, Rosalie hoped she would talk to him.

"Do you want me to tell you what you're feeling?" Jasper questioned.

Normally he wouldn't ask as it wasn't his place. But Bella's own words made it clear she wasn't sure how she felt. Perhaps his telling her would help her process it a bit easier and make her talk to Rosalie. He couldn't handle both of their negative emotions at once. It was getting to him.

"Is it bad?" Bella asked. She shook her head. "Yes, tell me."

"Worry and anxiety are your primary emotions," Jasper told her. "But there's also some hope in there."

"Hope that this will all be over after tomorrow," Bella said with a nod.

"It's okay to hope," Jasper said. "Alice has seen every possible scenario. Everything will be fine. And if Edward hurts Rosalie, I will personally rip his dick off and throw it into the fire before we kill him."

Bella was torn between amusement and embarrassment at Jasper's words. "You'll make sure she's okay?" Bella whispered.

"We'll all make sure she's safe," he said. He couldn't commit to keeping Rosalie safe on his own. He had to deal with Victoria.

Bella nodded. "I guess I can't ask for more than that," she said.

She moved her last pawn. It was safe for this turn but it wouldn't take long for Jasper to capture it too. All she had left was her queen, king and that pawn.

"You should talk to Rosalie," Jasper suggested. "She'll understand your fears. I know she's worried about you."

Bella glanced toward the entry. Rosalie was out hunting humans with Peter and Charlotte. Bella wasn't sure how they convinced her to go. Rosalie had made it clear she wasn't leaving Bella's side, which was why she was drinking from blood bags. But somehow, they managed to convince… or force her.

"I will," Bella told him. And she meant it. But first, Rosalie had to come home.

"They'll be back within the hour," Jasper promised.

"How did Peter and Charlotte convince her to go?" Bella questioned.

"I told Rose I would be here," Jasper replied. "Peter may have threatened her as well. Fresh blood is always better than blood bags. She needed this, even if she wouldn't admit it."

"I'm glad you guys made her go," Bella admitted. "I love her, I really do, but sometimes…"

"You need space," Jasper finished. Jasper nodded. "It's not a crime to admit. We all need space sometimes."

"Even you and Alice?" Bella asked in disbelief. They were together all the time. It was hard to believe.

"Even me and Alice," Jasper agreed. "We have our own hobbies. When she wants to shop, she goes to Rosalie. When I want to go to a history museum, I go to you or Esme. She's always willing to go with me, even if she's not a big fan. The point is, it's okay to have your own hobbies separate from her. No one would ever fault you for that. In fact, it's rather healthy."

Bella pushed her queen forward. "Thanks for this Jazz," she said.

"Anytime Bella," Jasper said. He grinned at her. "Checkmate."

Bella groaned and tipped her king over. "I'm not playing you again until after I turn," Bella declared.

Jasper raised an eyebrow at her. "You realize turning into a vampire won't suddenly make you good at chess," he said. Bella groaned and pushed the board aside. "You will, however, improve far quicker."

The front door opened and Bella knew Rosalie, Peter and Charlotte were back. While she did care about Peter and Charlotte, she was more excited to see Rosalie. She jumped up, accidentally knocking over the chess board, and rushed to the door.

"Sorry Jazz," she called on her way out.

Bella threw herself into Rosalie's arms. As frustrating as Rosalie had been for the last week or so, Bella really did miss her when she was gone. Rosalie wrapped her arms around Bella. "Hello love," Rosalie greeted.

"Hey," Bella said. She pulled away and studied Rosalie's eyes. They were bright red which meant she had fully hunted. "How did the hunting go?"

"Do you really want to hear about the people I killed?" Rosalie questioned.

Bella shrugged. "Not really," she admitted. "But it was successful?"

"It was successful," Rosalie confirmed.

"Hello Bella, nice to see you again. Hunting was great, thanks for asking," Peter said.

Bella blushed. She'd forgotten about Peter and Charlotte. "Hi Peter. Hi Char. Glad your hunting went so well."

Charlotte laughed. "Ignore him. He's just jealous."

Peter rolled his eyes. "I'm not jealous," he protested.

"Sure dear," Charlotte agreed.

Bella grabbed Rosalie's hand. "Can we go upstairs?" she muttered. It was useless to keep her voice down since everyone could hear.

Peter made a comment that Bella couldn't hear. She was glad she couldn't since Charlotte immediately smacked him.

"Are you okay Bella?" Rosalie asked once they got to their room.

"Yes," Bella answered. "I missed you."

"You did?" Rosalie questioned. "I was under the impression you were getting tired of me."

Bella looked horrified at the thought. "No, of course not." Rosalie raised an eyebrow at her. "Well, your hovering was getting annoying," she admitted. "You needed to go hunting. I know the blood bags weren't cutting it."

"The blood bags did their job," Rosalie said. She sat down on their bed. "But you're right. They're not as good as fresh blood. They taste worse too."

Bella wrinkled her nose at the thought. She wasn't a fan of blood. She remembered that dreaded blood typing incident. It was back when things were easy. Edward was hot and cold with his moods but he wasn't delusional back then. He didn't want Bella close to him. She kind of missed those times, except she didn't have Rosalie then. She loved Rosalie more than she loved an easy life.

"Are you okay?" Rosalie questioned.

"I'm fine," Bella said shaking away the thoughts. "I was just thinking how easy it was when I first moved, before everything happened."

"Do you miss that time?" Rosalie asked softly.

"Sometimes," Bella admitted. "But then I think of what I would have to give up… mainly you and I change my mind. I don't know. I wish we could have happened without everything else."

Rosalie nodded. "I wish that too Bella," she said.

Bella stared at Rosalie for a moment before making a decision. She walked toward Rosalie and pulled her shirt off. She was slowly starting to get more comfortable with being undressed in front of Rosalie. That led her to being bolder when she wanted something.

"Bella," Rosalie started.

Bella unclasped her bra and tossed it aside. She stepped between Rosalie's legs. Rosalie put her hands on Bella's hips. "Tomorrow, everything changes. Either Edward and Victoria die and we can move on with our lives, or something happens and I can lose you. I want one last perfect night with you before whatever happens tomorrow, happens."

"Nothing is going to happen to me tomorrow," Rosalie told her. She gently stroked the bare skin just above her jeans with her thumbs.

"I know and I believe that, because I have to believe it," Bella said. "The alternative is too horrifying to consider. I won't survive if I lose you."

Bella reached for the hem of Rosalie's shirt. She pulled it up and Rosalie raised her arms so Bella could pull it off. Bella tossed it on the floor. She moved to unhook her bra but it was already being tossed on the ground, as were her pants and underwear.

"I love you," Rosalie said, cupping Bella's cheek.

"I love you too," Bella told her.

Rosalie leaned forward and wrapped her lips around her nipple. Bella gasped and her hands went to Rosalie's hair. Her body might be hard, but her hair was silky soft.

Rosalie's hands went to Bella's jeans. She gripped the sides and rip the jeans of her body. Bella sighed. Now she understood why Alice bought her so many clothes. Rosalie had a habit of ripping her clothes off of her. Rosalie switched her attention to the other nipple before ripped her underwear off as well.

Her hands slid down Bella's sides, to the back of her thighs. She grabbed ahold of her thighs and lifted her into her lap. She pulled her mouth away from Bella's breasts so she could kiss her mate.

"Rose," Bella moaned. "Please."

Rosalie's hand slid up her thigh to her center. Bella moaned when Rosalie's fingers grazed her clit. "I love you," Rosalie said as two fingers slid inside her.

Bella's head fell against Rosalie's chest. She rocked against Rosalie's fingers. One hand went to Rosalie's stomach, while the other wrapped around her neck. "Another," Bella muttered. It was a good thing Rosalie had advanced hearing, otherwise she wouldn't have heard the request.

Rosalie slipped another finger inside of Bella and curled them. She felt Bella tighten around her fingers as she cried out, "Rose."

Rosalie kissed Bella's neck as she rode out her orgasm.

Bella laid her head against Rosalie's chest. "When I turn, will it always feel like this?" she questioned curious.

"No," Rosalie answered. She tilted Bella's head up, forcing Bella to meet her eyes. "It'll be better. Your skin will be more sensitive, especially to my touch." Rosalie ran her fingers down Bella's back. "Your emotions will be stronger. You'll feel things you haven't felt before. Plus, I won't have to hold back."

Bella kissed her. "What about the blood? Will that… affect my love for you?"

Rosalie cupped her cheek. "Nothing will ever affect our love for each other. When you turn, there will be two things you care about above all others: blood and sex. Your obsession with sex will last for a few months before you're able to focus on other things. The obsession with blood will never go away but it takes about a year for you to fully control the cravings."

"So, a few months of just you and me and whatever surface we can find at the time?" Bella asked. She kind of liked that idea.

Rosalie ran her finger down Bella's chest. "Not every surface. You, my beautiful mate, deserve romance and a bed," she said. She pressed a kiss to Bella's neck. "After you graduate, I want to buy a house, just for us two. Some place we can go to when you turn. It'll need to be isolated from humans and near the forest so we can hunt. But we can stay there as long as you want."

"You want to buy us a house," Bella repeated.

"Yes," Rosalie answered.

Bella shifted so she was straddling Rosalie's thigh. Her own thigh was pressed against Rosalie's center. Rosalie bit back a hiss. She rocked back and forth on Rosalie's thigh. "I love you," Bella muttered. "I love you so much."

Rosalie's hand moved to Bella's hips. She wasn't sure if Bella knew what she was doing but it felt far too good for her to care. "I take it you're okay with the house?" Rosalie questioned.

"I'm more than okay with the house," Bella groaned out.

She reached out and cupped Rosalie's breasts. Rosalie moaned and Bella was certain she had never heard something so perfect in her life. Bella was very much aware of what she was doing to Rosalie. Rosalie had always taken care of her, now she wanted to take care of Rosalie. She really wanted to watch Rosalie orgasm. She couldn't imagine a better sight.

"Bella," Rosalie moaned. "You… I…" she shuddered against Bella, unable to form proper words. It had been a long time…too long since she had an orgasm.

"I know Rose," Bella whispered. She wrapped her arms around Rosalie's neck. Their chests were pressed against each other and Bella moved harder. "I want to watch. Please, let me watch."

Rosalie grabbed one of Bella's hands and guided it between her legs. She used two of Bella's fingers to circle her clit. "Do you feel this?" Rosalie breathed.

"Yes," Bella gasped. She could feel, not only her clit but the wetness seeping out of Rosalie.

"Keep rubbing," Rosalie instructed. She removed her hand and gripped Bella's thighs. She would leave bruises again but as long as Bella wasn't bothered, she wouldn't feel guilty. "Yes, just like that love."

Bella continued to rub her clit. She pulled away from Rosalie so she could pull one of her cold nipples into her mouth.

Rosalie moaned. Her own fingers moved to Bella's clit. The only thing better than her mate getting her off, was her mate coming along with her.

"Rose," Bella sighed against her nipple. She was finding it difficult to keep track of pleasuring Rosalie when she was touching her like that.

"It's okay Bella," Rosalie muttered. "Let go. I'll be right there with you."

They both cried out at the same time. Bella's hand stilled seconds before Rosalie's. She slumped against her mate. The two orgasms had taken a lot out of her. She wasn't sure she had the energy to move anymore.

Rosalie seemed to sense that. Once she got control of herself, she lifted Bella off her lap and got them settled under the covers. "Have you thought more about what you wanted to do when you graduate?" Rosalie asked running her hand through Bella's hair.

"I want to travel," Bella said. "I want to experience the world, while I'm still human. I know I can do it once I turn but I want to be able to eat and enjoy the food, you know?"

"If that's what you want, I'm more than happy to oblige," Rosalie said. "In fact, I know the perfect place for us to start."

"Where?" Bella asked curious.

Rosalie shook her head. "I'll tell you about it later. There are a few things I have to check before we can go. Is there anything else you wanted to do?"

Bella blushed at the question as her mind went straight to sex. "I don't know," she answered. "I want to go to college eventually but I don't think it's necessarily an experience I have to have as a human."

"Why is that?" Rosalie asked curious.

Bella shrugged. "College is about finding yourself and experiencing different things," she replied. "I know who I am and I know who I want. I don't need to experience that."

"If you're sure," Rosalie said, though she was a little unsure. She kept telling herself it was Bella's choice and if Bella didn't want to experience college as a human then it was fine.

"I don't know if I'm sure of anything right now, other than you," Bella admitted. She laid her head on Rosalie's shoulder. "Do you think we can visit Charlie after graduation?"

"I'll have to check with Tanya," Rosalie said. "But that's more than a year away, so he should have enough control then. If not, we'll plan the trip a little later."

Bella yawned. "That sounds nice." She frowned. "Not in the winter please. I don't want to deal with even more snow."

Rosalie laughed. "Not in the winter," she promised. "You should sleep love."

"I'm afraid to sleep," Bella confessed.

Rosalie kissed the top of her head. "Don't be afraid. I'll be right here when you wake," she said softly. "Nothing is going to happen to me tomorrow. I promise."

Bella closed her eyes. She knew, even with Alice's gift, that was a promise she may not be able to keep. She appreciated Rosalie's attempts to reassure her, even if they were unsuccessful.

"Sleep my love," Rosalie whispered in her ear. "I'm right here." She tightened her grip on Bella, letting Bella know she wasn't going anywhere.

The next morning was especially tense in the Cullen household. No one wanted to admit it, but they were all worried. They weren't worried about dying or even getting hurt. They were mostly worried about something going wrong and the possibility of Bella, or even Angela, getting hurt in the process.

When Bella walked into the kitchen she was surprised to see Paul and Angela already there, sitting on the bar stools, eating the small feast Esme had cooked.

"Bella," Esme exclaimed. Her gold eyes lit up at the sight of her newest daughter. "Did you sleep well?"

"Of course she did," Peter said from the table. "We heard it."

Bella sat down beside Angela, her face bright red. She had forgotten about the other vampires in the room. Esme sat a plate in front of her before calming walking over to Peter and smacking upside the head. Charlotte snorted.

Bella laughed and started eating.

"You guys are here early," Bella commented.

"Esme called," Paul said after swallowing a mouthful of food. "Said she was cooking for you and asked if Angela and I wanted to come for breakfast. You know me, I can't turn down food."

Bella laughed. "I'm glad you guys are here," she said honestly. As much as she didn't want either of them in danger, she was happy she would have someone to keep her company.

Paul patted her hand. "I'm glad we're here too," he said.

"Are you worried about fighting vampires?" Bella questioned.

Paul scoffed. "No," he answered. "I helped Jasper kill the dreadlock leech and I'll help him kill this red-head chick."

Bella glanced toward the stairs. "You okay Bella?" Angela asked.

"Yeah," Bella answered going back to her food.

"You miss her," Angela said. "She's upstairs isn't she?" Bella nodded. "I get it, I miss Paul too when he's not around." Paul beamed and wrapped an arm around Angela.

"It's a mating thing," Bella said. "It's stupid, I know. I know she's upstairs but there's this ache when I'm not with her." She glanced at her family. They could all hear but they were acting like they couldn't. She appreciated the attempt even though it was useless. "It's supposed to settle, when I turn."

"So, you are going to become a vampire?" Angela asked. "I know you were unsure before."

"Yeah," Bella answered. "Charlie's a vampire now so there's no reason I shouldn't be and… I love Rosalie. I want to be with her forever."

Rosalie came downstairs seconds later and wrapped her arms around Bella. Bella sighed in relief. She instantly felt better. It had been a while since she struggled so much with the separation. She'd almost forgotten what it felt like.

"Are you okay love?" Rosalie asked concerned. She'd been talking to Jasper, hammering out some last-minute details for later, when he had felt a spike of pain from Bella. Jasper told her and Rosalie had rushed downstairs to comfort her mate.

"Much better now," Bella said leaning against her. With Rosalie here, it was much easier to force herself to eat the delicious breakfast Esme made. "How much longer?"

Rosalie rested her head on Bella's shoulder. "A few hours maybe," she replied. "Alice hasn't narrowed down the time yet. She's waiting for Edward to decide to come back."

"What if he doesn't decide to come?" Bella questioned.

"He will," Alice said walking into the room. "In every vision I've had, he comes."

"Eat Bella," Rosalie instructed her.

Bella sighed and took another bite of eggs.

"What are we waiting on?" Paul asked. He could see how tense Bella was and he wanted to get this over with almost as much as he did.

"Them," Alice answered. "Until Victoria and Edward decide to come here, there isn't much we can do. For now, we continue on as normal. Jazz?"

Jasper appeared in the room seconds later. "Yes dear?" he questioned.

"You should teach Esme some moves," Alice told him. "Nothing major, just enough so she could defend herself if something happens." She didn't anticipate anything happening but both Carlisle and Rosalie were tense and concerned.

"Of course," Jasper said with a nod. "Esme?"

Esme glanced at Carlisle, who nodded in encouragement. "Alright then," she said. She followed Jasper out of the house.

The next couple hours dragged on for the Cullens. Everyone was on red alert, waiting for Edward and Victoria to make their move. Jasper was ready to start pulling his hair out due to all the emotions in the house. Alice went on walks with him more than once throughout the day.

Esme was just finishing making lunch, a platter of sandwiches and chips, when Alice gasped.

"It's time," she announced.

The others jumped into action. Rosalie went to Bella's side. "It'll all be okay my love," she muttered. "Promise me you will not leave this house. No matter what you hear or what anyone says. I will come back for you."

Bella pulled Rosalie against her. "I promise," she said before kissing her. "I love you."

"I love you too," Rosalie said. "Close your eyes."

Bella did what Rosalie said. Rosalie pressed one last kiss to her mate before disappearing.

The first part of the plan was easy enough. Rosalie simply needed to wander around the woods, alone. She decided the easiest way to do that was to go hunting, not that she needed or wanted the blood. It was just the best excuse she could come up with. Not that it mattered, Victoria would attack her no matter what she was doing. She helped kill James and because of that, Victoria wanted her dead.

Rosalie lunged for a herd of deer. She watched them all run off in fear of the big bad predator.

"You're not very good at this," a voice sounded from behind her.

Rosalie growled at whipped around. "You," Rosalie spat. She sunk into a crouch. She knew this was coming but she wasn't prepared for the rage she felt at seeing Victoria.

"Me," Victoria said with a smirk. She cocked her head to the side. "A human drinker, no wonder Edward is so focused on getting you away from his mate."

"My mate," Rosalie snarled. "Bella is mine."

Victoria rolled her eyes. "Edward or you, it doesn't matter to me," she said. "All I want is to end you for what you did to James. If the human dies in the process, well there's more humans." Rosalie snarled.

"Watch it Victoria," Edward said stepping into view. He turned his attention to Rosalie. "Hello sister." His eyes narrowed at the sight of Rosalie's crimson eyes. He'd seen them before, several times in fact, and he hated it. "I'm going to kill you," he said slowly. "You're a danger to my mate and I won't allow you to continue this charade. My only regret is that I didn't kill you sooner."

Edward lunged for Rosalie at the same time as Victoria. They had definitely coordinated that attack. Rosalie waited until the last second to dodge, causing Edward and Victoria to hit each other.

Rosalie was never more grateful to Jasper for teaching her to fight without emotions, and more importantly, thoughts. She was a better fighter than Edward when he didn't have his gift as an advantage.

Rosalie swung around and kicked Edward into a tree. Victoria jumped up and lunged for her again. Rosalie started running. There was a clearing a few miles away, it was her job to get Victoria there. Once she was in position, Jasper would take care of the rest.

Victoria was as predictable as Alice expected. Rosalie stopped in the clearing and Victoria went for the kill. Jasper intercepted Victoria just as planned. He flew through the air, colliding with Victoria before she could get close to Rosalie.

Rosalie braced herself for what she knew would come next. Edward took advantage of their distraction and grabbed ahold of Rosalie. His hands wrapped around her neck. Rosalie grabbed his arm and tried to get him to release her but she knew it was pointless. Alice said as much.

"Let her go Edward," Carlisle shouted.

"Carlisle," Edward greeted calmly, as if his goal was not to decapitate his sister.

"Let her go," Carlisle repeated.

"You're here to kill me," Edward said shocked.

"If you keep this up then yes, I am," Carlisle said. This was Carlisle's one chance to try to get Edward to see reason. Rosalie and Carlisle both knew it was futile but Carlisle owed it to his first companion to try. "I understand your desire for a mate Edward but Bella is not it."

Edward shook his head. "You're lying. She is mine," he said.

Rosalie took advantage of his focus on Carlisle. She gripped his arm and twisted it before throwing him to the ground. "It's over Edward," she hissed. "You can either leave or die. Your choice."

Edward growled and attacked.

Rosalie knew that was the path he was going to choose but still, it pained her knowing she was going to have to kill him. Despite her hatred for him, he was her brother in venom. There was a part of her that always hoped he would give up before it came to this.

Rosalie jumped up and kicked him in to a tree. She whipped around and with a nod from Carlisle they charge. Carlisle grabbed ahold of his arms while Rosalie leapt onto his shoulder. Her hands wrapped around his head and she tugged. Edward screamed and tried to fight them off but Rosalie was too strong and Carlisle knew how to hold his arms so he couldn't break free. She twisted and ripped his head from his body.

His head dropped to the ground with a soft thud. Rosalie didn't look at it. She pulled the lighter from her pocket and set Edward on fire.

It was finally over.

Carlisle stepped toward her and put her hand on her shoulder. "It's okay Rose," Carlisle said. Red eyes met gold. For the first time since she started feeding on humans, Carlisle didn't flinch at the sight. "It's over. Go to Bella. I'll make sure Jasper and Paul are okay." He touched the cracks around her neck. "They should heal soon."

Rosalie nodded. Carlisle started to walk away. "Carlisle," Rosalie called. Carlisle paused. "For what it's worth, I'm sorry it came to this."

He didn't look at her. "Me too," he said before heading deeper into the woods.
