SilverPsychic; Besides that I have had to restart this, I believe this chapter is pretty much like it was originally but a bit more…detailed. Now as you can tell, this chapter is based off Silver's theme 'Dreams of an Absolution' so hopefully, they come true! Unlike mine…

Silver; Please stop being so upset! It's turning out wonderfully!

Izuku; Yeah! Pleeeeease?

SilverPsychic; Yeah, alright…as long as Izuku does the disclaimer! HAHAHAHAAAAA!

Izuku; Sure! I just don't wanna see you crying for another 300 tissue boxes…that's my thing. SILVERPSYCHIC DOESN'T OWN ME OR SILVER! SEGA OWNS SILVER AND ANYTHING ELSE SONIC RELATED AND…uh…WHO EVER CREATED ME AND THE REST OF MHA OWNS US! AKA: NOT SILVERPSYCHIC! R&R, Thank you!

SilverPsychic; Also thank you to bajy who has given me smiles everytime I post a chapter, simple yet encouraging words! Also EpicNinjaFWRY is Psyonic like a play on words for Psychic and Sonic? It's kinda cool but I'd also like to know a bit more about it! (Lemme know in the comments plz! Or PM me, either way I wanna learn a bit more about it.)

Chapter 10; Dreams of an Absolution

(A\N; Heads up, my writing may seem like it has oddly jumped with improvement but it's because of six months of writing that sadly you couldn't see.)

When his gloved hands touched the smooth surface of the guitar, the ivory teen let out a soft breath as a soft feeling came over him. Gently, it encouraged him to strum the chords and amber eyes were hidden from view. A melody played one too many times, deeply engraved in his memory, took over his hands and power as it began. Subconsciously playing, and re-hearing it causes memories to be played in front of his eyes, taking him away from the music into past events.

"Hey Silv! I had that man!" An azure hedgehog stood in the metal base with a cocky grin on his muzzle, "Nevermind, thanks for hold'n the door back there man. I was almost a hedgie-pancake!" Sonic…that's right, Sonic was his friend…one of his closest that he trusted completely and never steered him wrong.

Well, maybe a couple times, but everyone makes mistakes, "What do you mean? I came the other way…" Silver had asked rather confused to his friend with intriguing but creeped out eyes.

"...You missed," An ebony hedgehog with crimson stripes glared at Silver as the table behind him broke, "You need to work on your aim, see?" And in a swift, emotionless, movement…the rough hedgehog had Silver in a headlock.

Shadow…he was a lot like Bakugo, but with Todoroki's calm exterior…and Silver understood his friend's pain, "W-What? But I was upset! And you want me to work on my aim to actually hurt you?!" Silver had said and struggled to get out of the tight hold.

"Can't help a bit of practice…and a quill cut." Shadow had huffed and let the poor hedgehog go, Silver falling to the hard floor with a whine.

"SOOOONKKUIIIIIII!" A light rose colored hedgehog jumped onto Silver from behind, "Finally! Ha! Now you have to go on a date with me~!" Rose…Amy Rose, the sweet fan of Sonic but also a harsh protector, often confusing the hedgehogs for her self-proclaimed boyfriend.

She had already been faintly hinted at in his mind, being the first friendly person to help him in the past, "A-Amy! A-As much as that sounds like fun, you've got me confused with Sonic again…I'm Silver…" The ivory hedgehog had smiled awkwardly at the recurring scene and Amy apologized before offering an ice cream beach trip, "...Is this to make Sonic jealous again? Last time he threatened to-"

"But Sonic never said that happened!" Amy gave an innocent look, totally believing her dream boat, "Come on…please?"

"AHHHHHH! SOOOOONIIIIIIC! HEEEEELP MEEEEE!" The young kitsune yelped running out of his lab, right into Silver, "Experiment gone wrong! It's haywire! I'm gonna die! Chaos, I'll never mess with time travel again! I promise! Please save me!" Tails…or Miles Prower, the young brains being the operation always coming up with crazy science inventions or theories…

And sometimes they led to the worst troubles, or the best adventures, "TAILS!" Silver had shouted shocked and angered, "Why?! Ugh, nevermind. I'll help, if Sonic messes with time travel, things will get even worse…" Once he had stepped into the lab though he noticed the familiar Genesis Portal and he turned with a death glare at the fox, "Just one word…WHY?!"

"More tea?" The sweet, polight rabbit asked gently and Silver nodded, not really knowing how to be polite in this situation, "Okay! Do you want some more cookies as we-Cheese!" The small blue creature hovered out from behind the stuffed bear sheepishly, "You ate all the cookies…I'll get more."

Cream and Cheese, too sweet for anyone to guess they have actual fighting experience. The two can't go without one another, like chill with hot dogs as Sonic would have said, "...Are they really good?" Silver just asked Cheese for his opinion and the Chao lit up with a nod, "I'm guessing you like the chocolate chunk with raspberry drizzle the most?" Again another enthusiastic nod, "...Here." Silver handed over a hidden cookie of just the lucky type and the over happy chao took it excitely.

"Honey, that's not how you get a girl to like you. Be more…" A sly bat hummed looking for the words as she looked Silver up and down, "Who am I kidding? Girls love cute, flustered, naive, heartfelt, sweet, blushing, messes of a hedgehog. It's even cuter when you don't get someone's filtering with you~" Rouge…she was the heart catcher, the love rope of the friends…they weren't exactly close friends but they did know each other and had spoken.

Acutely, she flirted with him often, but he normally didn't get it or when he did, didn't really take it to heart since she did it with every friend of hers…but compliments still got him flustered, "R-Rouge, I'm not looking for any girls…" Silver had already been rained on with blind dates from Amy, some including herself and Rouge…which was what was on at the moment.

"You gotta have a partner at some point," Rouge argued with a soft huff, "Oh wait…are you saving your heart from someone else? Who is the special gal?" Silver just flushed and shuffled a bit, averting his gaze, "Oh come on, it's obvious. You aren't hard to read~" Rouge pestered and Silver just nodded, "Yes? To what? Be a more specific kid."

"I…I'm saving my heart from someone else…" Silver had muttered quite embarrestly, Rouge pestering even more with her questions until Silver finally made a promise with her, "Never, never, NEVER tell anyone…or else I'll come back in time and make sure I don't tell you…ok?" She nodded early and he opened his mouth…

~
"You gotta be tough!" The bright crimson guardian said and punched the air for a bit, "You gotta be alert!" He copied his movements, barely missing Silver's face, "You gotta be-"

Knuckles, the Kirishima of the group but a bit more gullible and had Bakugo's anger issue when in an argument, "You gotta be kidding me, Eggman just stole the Master Emerald out from under your nose…AGAIN." Silver said dead paning as he watched Eggman make a goofy face and grab the Emerald.

Knuckles spun around face and started after the mad doctor in a fit of rage, "GET BACK HERE YOU COWARD! FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN YOU-YOU…ARGH!"

More memories flashed in front of his eyes and his life slowly came back to him, but not all of it…only the more recent parts…but that was still enough to remember his friends and who he was. He barely registered that he had been singing when it finally neared and ended with one last memory, "Dreeeeam…" Silver sang softly as he played the last notes of his hand made song for Sonic, "It…helps me when I'm having a rough day." Silver muttered after a soft pause, "I…I miss her Sonic…I miss her a lot."

"I'm sure ? is somewhere great, I know she misses you too." Sonic said and hugged Silver, oddly the name not coming through, "It'll hurt, but it'll get better…I promise." Sonic pet Silver's quills as the younger teen leaned sadly against his friend.

As the last cord rang through the air, amber eyes slowly peeked from behind the walls…tears lining his eyes. He remembered, not everything…but he remembered his friends, his home, who he was. Silver hadn't felt so refreshed in years, like someone had broken a dirty, broken lair off of a statue to reveal a cleaner, newer being underneath. But now he felt a different kind of sadness…but also a glad remembrance, he also remembered Mephlies. (A\N; …Yeah, lol. I forgot to put the Mephiles Memories, but uh…this chapter is already so long…)

"Wow…"Jiro said, breaking Silver from his trance, quickly putting him back into his friend's dorm room with a whoosh of the world around him, "I…That was beautiful." She said softly and Silver chuckled softly, embarrassed a bit, "I don't think I've heard that song…how'd you know it?"

"I…I think I wrote it actually." Silver said with a proud smile and Jiro's eyes went wide, "Thank you, that…helped me a lot. I should head to bed though, but really…" He locked eyes with Jiro, showing his sincerity, "Thank you."

After that he had left and gone to bed, the next morning Mr. Azaiwa relayed what he had told the others last night to him. To say the least the ivory teen accepted before his teacher could finish the sentence. But his thoughts traveled from last night to his current status…climbing a large cement wall, over twenty five feet tall as a rough estimate…yeah, it was tall. And rough, the rocky material kept scraping Silver's hands even through his gloves and he pushed himself on. Izuku, Uraraka, Tsu, Kirishima, Tokoyami, Kaminari, Sero, Yaoyarozu, and Ojiro were also on the wall…but all the kids at the work studies were far ahead already.

Silver was neck and neck with Izuku, but neither cared about it…both lost in their own thoughts and worries. Bakugo yelled something but it only fell on deaf ears. Thankfully Silver didn't have to deal with it, Karishima having already responded. Silver barely noticed that he reached the top, but happily smiled as if nothing was wrong. It wasn't the first time he had to act like this before, and he sighed looking at the view with a fake smile. After that quick session, Silver floated down and headed off for lunch, Bakugo trying to pry something out of him.

"Hmm?" Silver turned around, "Oh! Lunch today is either udon or teriyaki noodles, not really picky. Just want some teriyaki in my stomach today I guess, thanks for asking though. Never really thought you would care! The chicken is also good, take it you have tried it with soy? It's really good." Silver explained happily to Bakugo, uncaring to what the real question the hot head had asked and Bakugo grunted.

"I DIDN'T ASK FOR THE LUNCH MENU TODAY! NEVERMIND PIGTAILS, YOUR JUST AS USELESS AS DEKU!" Bakug yelled loudly before stomping off and Silver just shrugged and headed off to the cafeteria. (A\N; Anyone notice that Bakugo gives special nicknames to the ones that are closer to him? Either for friend or ally or whatever but they mean something to his life….and he calls Silver 'Pigtails' instead of 'A stupid Extra'...keep that in mind. It is important later…quite a bit later though. Sorry.)

After getting some hot hokkien teriyaki noodles with rice and seaweed,(A\N; Teriyaki Hokkien! YUUUM! MY FAVORITE!) just as intended, Silver began looking around for somewhere to sit but heard crying and turned to see Izuku in tears, but not exactly over emotional like normal, "Hey!" Silver called and ran up to Izuku, seeing Iida freaking out while Todoroki really puzzled, "What happened?! Who made him cry? I'll hold you to the ceiling till the end of lunch!" Silver's over expressive ears pinned down with his upset emotion and Iida tried to explain.

"I just asked if he needed to talk about anything, and that we are friends. I didn't expect him to cry!" Iida shouted in shock and Silver calmed down, his lunch no longer hovering behind him, "I just…he seemed upset."

"Haven't you noticed that?" Todoroki asked with a bite of Soba as Silver sat down.

Silver tilted his head innocently, "I don't see that, Izuku is just Izuku, he is emotional." Silver really did understand his friend, he was really sure Izuku hadn't ever felt this stressed before so he tried to innocently cover for him, "This isn't unnatural, I mean…maybe he is sad about the chicken he is eating." Silver stated more of a joke than a question and Izuku gave something between a sniffle and a laugh, understanding Silver's intention at this point.

Todoroki decided to clear up what he ment, "Sure, but Midoriya has been acting really edgy and depressed since he started his work study…you must have noticed. You two are really close friends after all." And that's when Silver silently cursed Todoroki's really keen thinking, that was really straight forward…and if he still acted like he didn't understand…well, he wasn't an idiot.

"...Depressed…? Not sure if that's a good word for it…" Silver said unsure, slightly losing the edge to this conversation and Todoroki nodded.

"So you have noticed Midoriya's behavior?" The young pro's son asked and Silver bit his inner cheek.

Silver still needed to think of something soooo, "Why do you call him Midoirya?" He asked quickly with pure confusion, a true question he had been meaning to ask for a while but hopefully good enough bait to save Izuku.

"Uh…" Both Iida and Todoroki went quiet for a bit, "Because we aren't family…" Todoroki said slowly, "Why do you call him Izuku?"

"Well, it's his personal name." Silver said, seriously confused, "I thought Todoroki was your first name too, but when I learned it wasn't…It just sounded weird to call you Shoto. I've been calling you Todoroki for such a long time now." Silver came to the conclusion that…

Iida explained, Silver thankful to be using his memory loss for gaining information, "Well, it's alright. Normally calling someone by their first name is disrespectful, unless you are really close to them. And as we are good friends, we aren't as close as family. Wearing, or going by your family name is natural and shows you respect your family or its name." The fast trainee grinned, "Like I proudly wear the name Iida!" (A\N; Completely true facts! Made sure to double check my sources!)

"Ohhhhhh, wow…now I feel really stupid. I didn't mean to be rude," Silver shook his head and placed his head in his hands, feeling like an idiot as if it were obvious, "...Wait, you know my first name is Silver right?" The teen looked up to make sure.

And to his surprise, all three of the boys looked shocked, "Um…no." Todoroki said suddenly, also looking embarrassed, "That's kinda…" (A\N; Lemme finish Todoroki's sentence…ahem, Why do your parents hate you? Todoroki; I was not gonna say that! Me; *sarcastically* yeah…i believe that…)Todoroki shook his head, deciding not to finish that sentence, "Now that I think about it, why haven't the teachers looked into your past?"

And now Silver was stuck between a rock and a hard place and his impending doom, either he switches subjects again and risks them being really suspicions or he makes an excuse to leave, or he sticks it out until Izuku gets his emotions together…thankful Izuku finished his food and put it down, "I'm fine you guys…" He sniffled and rubbed his eyes, grabbing back their attention, "Heroes aren't supposed to cry!" (A\N; You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours~ Cause that's what besties are for~ Sorry, I'll stop now…)

"I dunno, I think they cry when they need to." Todoroki said without hesitation and Silver got up from his uneaten lunch and hugged his friend.

"Heroes definitely cry," Silver said, pulling from the hug, "Everyone has emotions, positive and negative. Every hero has lost someone important to them, I can promise you that…even All Might has cried, we're all humans." Silver said and floated back to his seat, "I've never seen him cry, but I'm positive he has." Amber orbs locked with Emeralds, relaying a hidden message saying 'I have lost someone, I know I cried.'.

Izuku sniffled and looked at his friends, "...Thanks, that means a lot." He said softly and turned to Silver jokingly, "And I don't mind you calling me Izuku, I'd worry if you didn't." The green haired ball of emotions looked at Silver's pretty cold lunch, "You'd better eat up, we don't have much time left."

Silver's ears perked up in reminder and Silver smiled, "Right! I forgot all about it!" Silver grabbed his chopsticks and before he could break them apart, his hungry tummy growled loudly and Silver flushed, "Well…maybe not all of me." Everyone shared a laugh at that and Silver dug into his lunch happily, only barely catching a wonder in Izuku's eyes. (A\N; I AM ALL OF MEEEEEE! Lol, sorry…I just had to! The last one, I promise!)

'How do you keep smiling, acting as if nothing is wrong? When I'm barely holding it together?' Was the obvious thought crossing his mind so Silver just smiled before replying, "Not the first time, doubt it's the last." Midoirya seemed surprised, then a little bit mixed between worried, sad, and wanting to give Silver a hug.

"Did we…miss something?" Iida asked, looking between the two friends and Silver just laughed while Izuku smiled softly.

"They have become such good friends, they are now brothers…sharing the same mind." Todoroki said mysteriously and Silver laughed even harder, almost choking on his food while Izuku joined it, "Sorry, I read a book about something like that recently and it just seemed to fit the moment…unless that has really happened."

"What?!" Silver laughed falling off his seat, tears streaming down his face as he clutched his stomach.

It was all on…fire, hues of red, oranges, yellows, blacks and smokey grays filling his eyes. The air was hard to breathe and the heat was untakeable, everything waving from the heat in the air alone. Silver coughed as he looked around and he turned to see an odd figure who was hard to make out in the distance. Slowly, and painfully…Silver dragged himself closer towards the girl…Eri. What was she doing here? The young girl looked scared, but her ruby orbs swirled with something else…determination? Confusion? Injury? No…it was something else, something else he hadn't seen before…but yet he had seen it so many times. It was a look that was close to him, yet so forgein.

"Silver…" She said softly, but the female voice caused him to jump, it was definitely NOT a little girl! She softly stepped forwards reaching out her small hand, "Save her…"

"W-Wait, why are you-what is-?!" Silver stuttered in a jumbled confusion and Eri just smiled softly with a look that made his heart hurt deeply, "Why…?"

She seemed to understand his confusion but said nothing about it and just turned, looking at the flames, "You don't fully remember who you are…" The voice spoke, syncing up with Eri's mouth, "...Remembering where you came from is a huge role in being a hero…" She muttered after a quiet pause.

Everything cracked and whirled, the heat being unbearable yet he still stood in the oven and Silver took a strong step forward, unsure what was really going on. Was this some odd hallucination? Was it really happening? Was he dreaming? Silver locked eyes with Eri's hand, knowing that no matter what was going on, he had to get her out of here.

"Eri, we have to go. Come on," He froze though when Eri turned around, this time with a soft smile and…honey eyes, "...Flames…Ember…Burning…Scorching…" Silver tripped over the words his mouth spoke, his mind desperately trying to find the one, "Fire…no, uh…Blister…Blaze…Blaze?" His heart stopped at the name and his eyes welled up with tears, Silver's mind completely fixated on the word 'Blaze' while looking at Eri's eyes, "Blaze?" He asked again, confused and anxious as his hands reached out again, shakily inches away from Eri's tiny hands.

Eri just turned to the flames again, pulling her hand away and closing her eyes, "You don't remember, but you must save Eri. As she is in trouble, but she will also help you, keep fighting." Eri's-er…the mysterious person who had taken form as Eri's hand lifted and pointed towards the flames, "Soon you will, it just takes a small spark to cause a large fire…" Silver looked confused at her and she turned fastly, almost…frantic, but stayed calm, "It's time, go. The girl…" She said something more but no words came out, "...hurry…resembles…careful…Good luck!" Was all he could make out before the world around him was ripped away from him suddenly.

Amber eyes flung open just as Silver sat up fastly, panting heavily, "W-What was-" Bling! Silver froze and slowly turned to his phone which had lit up, "She…dream Eri knew? But…how? That wasn't a vision…I…" He was puzzled as he quietly exclaimed to his own ears before he shook off his jumbled feelings and checked his phone. (A\N; DREAM ERI KNEEEEEEEW! AHHHHH! …What? You thought I was gonna keep that promise for the rest of the chapter? Too bad...)

Just as he thought…they found her. Silver grabbed his phone hurriedly and ran (quietly) down the stairs. Izuku, Uraraka, Tsu, Karishima…they had also all gotten it and Silver took note of their messy hair. Subconsciously he guessed he also looked crazy but he didn't mind at the time, everything being crazy and determined.

Silver quickly rushed his breakfast and quite literally flew out the door to the meeting. His energy had much to spare but Mr. Azaiwa kept insisting that Silver shouldn't use his quirk before the raid, so reluctantly he did as told. The others were really serious at breakfast and Silver wasn't much help either, wolfing down his food and making quick, crazy excuses for various small actions. But all thoughts and unsure feelings about if he did a good job at breakfast (which he was sure his class had at least some suspicion now…) came to a halt when he saw a small box with Nighteye. It was pink and blue, crazily sparkly…but definitely made for girls.

It read 'Gung-ho Glitter Squad 10!' in large, almost crystalline letters. Silver made a really odd face, one ear slightly limp and leaning forwards while the other just seemed to stick oddly out to the side. It was painfully clear that he was utterly confused and pretty shocked to see something like…that with Nighteye. Looked like something Cream would like…hmm, maybe he should get her one because she would be totally over the moon with something like that. Nighteye then explained that somehow this…doll box was how he found out where Eri was. Very odd…but Silver buckled up for the pros explanation.

SilverPsychic; OOO! Dolls…SPARKLY DOLLS!

Silver; Still odd to see a full grown man with glitter dolls…
