Chapter 7
In The Shadow of Mystacor And Flames Of The Beast
A Forest
In a forest, the gang was asleep, with their Pokemon in their Pokeballs, but Adora was having a hard time sleeping. "Adora." Shadow Weaver's voice said. This caused Adora to wake up and sit up. After that, Adora couldn't go back to sleep after that, and chose to stand guard over everyone.
The next morning the rest of the gang started to get up, with Bow being the first to get up. "Good morning, Glimmer and Noah." Bow said to Glimmer and Noah, making them get up, well making Noah get up, Glimmer didn't want to and groaned. "It's too early. Five more minutes." Glimmer said to Bow, pulling her cape over her head, hiding her bed head.
"But it's a beautiful morning." Bow said to Glimmer, as Noah started to do some morning stretches. "Today's canceled. Go back to bed." Glimmer said to Bow. Bow just looked at Glimmer. "I can feel you staring at me." Glimmer said Bow, removing her cap. "Why is it that the one who snores is always the first one to fall asleep?" Glimmer asked everyone.
"What? I don't snore. Noah back me up." Bow said to Glimmer and Noah. "Don't look at me, I can sleep through anything. If you snore, I wouldn't notice." Noah said to Bow. "Okay, then Adora, do I snore-?" Bow asked Adora, only to stop when everyone noticed she wasn't near them. Then they noticed Adora standing guard. "Adora?" Bow asked Adora worried about her.
Glimmer groaned and grabbed the boys, teleporting them to Adora's side, surprising Adora a little. "Sorry. Too early to teleport." Glimmer said to Adora. "You teleported us 2 feet. Was it really necessary?" Noah asked Glimmer, as Adora gave the forest an intense stare. Everyone noticed this. "What are we looking at?" Bow asked Adora. "I don't know. I heard a noise in the woods last night. I thought I saw something." Adora said to everyone.
"What? Like a bunny? Maybe a butterfly?" Glimmer asked Adora, as the boys looked into the forest. Adora did respond and looked at the forest. "Adora, did you get any sleep at all?" Glimmer asked Adora, touching Adora's shoulder, making Adora gasp. "Someone has to stand guard." Adora said to Glimmer before walking away.
"Okay. I know you're on edge because of what happened with Entrapta's infected robots, but it's all over now! You've got to relax. You need a vacation. Which is why we're going to Mystacor." Glimmer said to Adora. "Mystacor? No way." Bow asked Glimmer. "Is that why you've had us wandering in the forest for the last few days?" Noah asked Glimmer.
"Wait, what's Mystacor?" Adora asked Glimmer, as her Pokeball opened up, letting Eevee out. "Yeah, what's Mystacor?" Eevee asked Adora. "It's a secret, floating kingdom that's home to all of Etheria's sorcerers." Glimmer said to Adora, as her Pokeball opened and Ralts appeared on her right shoulder. "Sounds like an interesting place." Ralts said to Glimmer.
"It is. It's got tranquil gardens, beautiful beaches, and healing springs." Glimmer said to everyone, as one of Noah's Pokeball opened up, letting Popplio out. "Sounds nice, but how can a floating kingdom have beaches?" Popplio asked Glimmer. "You'll see. And my Aunt Castaspella just happens to be the head sorceress there." Glimmer said to everyone.
"Cast-a-spell-a, really. Whatever happened to normal names. I mean, am I crazy?" Noah asked everyone, as Bow pokeball opened, letting out Rowlet. "Well-." Rowlet said to Noah, but Noah interrupted him. "Don't answer that." Noah said to Rowlet. "You know I'm still not used to the fact that you all can choose to pop out of your Pokeballs whenever you want." Noah said to the Pokemon.
"You all will love it. Plus Adora, you won't have to worry about evil things in the woods. Mystacor is protected by an invisibility spell. So evil can't find it!" Bow said to everyone. "It's the safest and most peaceful palace in all of Etheria. We'll have you relaxing in no time." Glimmer said to Adora, as the boys put their weapons on their backs.
"You know, I've never relaxed in my life. It might-" Adora said to Glimmer, but Bow interrupted her. "We're about to change that. Just wait." Bow said to Adora, before everyone started to move.
Once they left, a shadow blob with a red circle appeared from bending some tree roots. Then it followed everyone.
Fright Zone
Meanwhile in the Fright Zone. Shadow Weaver was draining energy from the large red crystal, when Catra, Chloe, Purrloin, and Oshawott walked into the room. "Shadow Weaver. You wanted to see us?" Catra asked Shadow Weaver. "Yeah, what do you want?" Chloe asked Shadow Weaver. Then Shadow Weaver turned to them, her gem shining bright.
"Ah. Force Captain. And Freelancer. How kind of you two to join me." Shadow Weaver said to Catra and Chloe. "What's up with you? You're being spookier than usual." Catra said to Shadow Weaver. "My shadow spies have found Adora. She's on her way to Mystacor with her new friends. Mystacor. This is going to be too easy." Shadow Weaver said, making Catra groan.
"Another Adora mission. Fine. When do we leave?" Catra asked Shadow Weaver. "The only place you're heading is outside my door to stand guard. I'm going to use my magic to go after Adora myself. You all will see that I am not disturbed. Clearly, no one else can be trusted to bring her back to the Horde, least of all you Catra." Shadow Weaver said to them.
"So when you fail-." Chloe said to Shadow Weaver, but Shadow Weaver interrupted her. "I will not fail." Shadow Weaver said to Chloe. "I see the denial is still strong. WHEN you fail. Should we bring you some ice cream or some first aid stuff for your broken heart?" Chloe asked Shadow Weaver with a mocking tune in her voice.
"Now go." Shadow Weaver said to them, but they didn't move. "I said, go!" Shadow Weaver said to them, getting into their personal space, trying to intimidate them. This caused Oshawott and Purrloin to leap into action, with Oshawott Slash Shadow Weavers left hip, and Purrloin Scratch Shadow Weavers right hip. This caused Shadow Weaver to drop the intimidating act and drop to her knees.
"When are you going to learn that your little fear ticks aren't that effective on me or the Pokemon?" Chloe said to Shadow Weaver before kicking Shadow Weaver in the face, sending her flying back a little. "Come on Catra, let's get some food." Chloe said to Catra, leading everyone out of the room.
"I told you to make sure I'm not disturbed." Shadow Weaver said to Chloe, making them stop. "Correction. You want us to cover for you, in case Hordak finds out about this. After all this Adora hunt is against his orders. If he finds out, you're in big trouble." Chloe said to Shadow Weaver, leaving with everyone, all the while laughing at Shadow Weaver.
But Catra stayed at the room entrance and watched Shadow Weaver get up and moved to her cauldron. Shadow Weaver then started to cast a spell. "From the farthest regions of Etheria, I command you, be as one!" Shadow Weaver said, as shadows gathered in her cauldron. Then a massive shadow came out of the cauldron. Catra saw this and felt.
A Cliff
With the gang, they stood on the edge of a stone cliff. "We're here." Glimmer said to everyone, waving her hand to the cliff. "Uh, we're on a cliff overlooking a thousand-foot drop." Adora said to Glimmer. "Yes, we are. But not for long." Glimmer said to Adora, before she and Bow jumped off the cliff, woo-hooing. "You know my father once warned me about friends that would jump off cliffs. But I don't think he meant that literally." Noah said to everyone, as they all freaked out a little.
"Uh, guy?" Adora asked. Then Glimmer and Bow came up on a rising landmass. "Come on, guys. Jump." Bow said to everyone. Noah and the Pokemon then jumped over and landed on the landmass. Noah then walked up to Glimmer and Bow, and slapped the back of their heads. "That's for scaring us." Noah said to them. "Come on Adora." Noah said to Adora.
Adora then jumped, but the shadow followed her, and Adora noticed the shadow, and it made her lose her balance and crash into the landmass. "Ooh, ouch. Are you okay?" Bow asked Adora, as Noah helped Adora up. "I'm fine. I thought I saw-." Adora said to Bow, before sighing. "I'm just stressed." Adora said to Bow, as the landmass started to move.
"Hang in there, Adora. Next stop, Mystacor." Glimmer said to Adora, as everyone looked forward. But Adora looked back, and Noah noticed this. "Adora what did you see?" Noah asked Adora. "I don't know. Some kind of shadow thing." Adora said to Noah. "A shadow?" Noah asked, wondering what she meant. And that shadow was on the landmass.
Soon the landmass passed through a purple shield, and saw themselves moving to a massive floating stone city, it looked like something carved out of the sea. The landmass hit the edge of the city, and everyone got off it, with Bow and Glimmer laughing. "We rode a flying mountain through clouds. It never gets old." Bow said to everyone. Then everyone started to move, with Adora looking back at the cliff.
"Uh, sure, yeah, heh. It was great." Adora said to everyone, before going after everyone else. "Just so you know, my Aunt Casta can be a lot. But don't worry, I know how to handle her." Glimmer said to everyone. "Define "a lot"?" Noah asked Glimmer. Is that my Glimmer?" A Female voice said to Glimmer.
That's when everyone noticed a woman running to them. The woman had fairly light skinned, and black hair with her hair in a bun with two long strands hanging down. She wears a purple dress with a pink cape, and a circular gold crown with a gold star akin to the a sun in the center floating a little around her head, and she hand a sorcerer's guild badge atop it.
Following the woman, was a tall creature with a curvy body, the lower half being white, the middle part being pink, the upper part being blue, in the upper part of the body, was a head and some tiny arms, on the head was big black eyes, and three pink marks above the eyes, on top of the body was a blue witch hat, and attached to the tip of the witch hat was a long and thick blue fabric string with the end being a pink ord and blue orb after that, with three fingers on the blue orb.
"Hi, Aunt Casta." Glimmer said to the woman, before the woman hugged her. "It's been so long since you've come to visit." Castaspella said to Glimmer. "And Bow." Castaspella said to Bow, before hugging Bow. "And who are all these people and Pokemon?" Castaspella asked Glimmer.
"These are our friends, Adora, Noah, Adora's Pokemon Eevee, Noah's Pokemon Popplio, Bow's Pokemon Rowlet, and my Pokemon Ralts. Aslo Adora is also sometimes an eight-foot-tall warrior named She-Ra and has the ability to call two Pokemon Raikou and Suicune so don't freak out when it happens." Glimmer said to Castaspella, introducing everyone and pushing Adora closer to Castaspella.
"Hi." Adora said to Castaspella. "Hello." Noah said to Castaspella. "Nice to meet you." Eevee said to Castaspella. "Charmed." Ralts said to Castaspella. "Yo." Rowlet said to Castaspella. "Howdy." Popplio said to Castaspella.
"Adora, Noah, Eevee, Popplio, Rowlet and Ralts. How nice Glimmer has finally started making some new friends. We were all so pleased when she started bringing Bow around. I was sure had made him up at first." Castaspella said to everyone, before laughing. This made Noah and the Pokemon laugh a little. Glimmer then cleared her throat.
"So Aunt Casta, who's this?" Glimmer asked Castaspella, pointing to the creature, trying to change the topic. "That's my pokemon partner Hatterene." Castaspella said to Glimmer. "Hi." Glimmer said to Hatterene. Hatterene said nothing. "Uh, was it something I said?" Glimmer asked Castaspella. "No, she just doesn't talk that much." Castaspella said to Glimmer. "Well she is the silent Pokemon." Noah said to everyone, before pulling out his phone.
Hatterene. Silent Pokemon. Psychic + Fairy.
It emits psychic powers strong enough to cause headaches as a deterrent to the approach of others.
"Glimmer. I just noticed you're not wearing the sweater I knitted for you. Don't you like it?" Castaspella asked Glimmer. "Sure, I like it. It's great. It's just- it's just a little warm for sweaters right now." Glimmer said to Castaspella, with Castaspella giving her a serious look. "But you'd tell me if you didn't like it?" Castaspella asked Glimmer. "Yes, I'd tell you." Glimmer said to Castaspella.
"I'm wearing the socks you sent me." Bow said to Castaspella. "Well, I've always been fond of this one. So, what brings you all the way out here to visit your aunt? Is it once in a blue moon already?" Castaspella asked Glimmer, before walking away and laughing, making Hatterene slap her claw into her face.
"We're on a diplomatic mission, Auntie. I'm rebuilding the Princess Alliance-" Glimmer said to Castaspella, going after Castaspella, but Castaspella interrupted her. "My goodness, then you must be starving. I'll have a feast prepared. I'm sure your mother hasn't been feeding you." Castaspella said to Glimmer. "Is this normal?" Noah asked Bow. "Yep." Bow said to Noah, before they all went after Glimmer and Castaspella.
As they walked around, Adora, Noah, and the gang's Pokemon noticed sorcerers and Pokemon practicing together. "Wow." Adora said to everyone. "You've come at the perfect time. There's an eclipse this evening. I'm heading right now to inspect the Lunarium for the ceremony. And nothing would make me happier than to give my favorite niece and her friends a tour." Castaspella said to Glimmer.
"Uh… Bow and I have had the tour before. And we don't wanna get in your way." Glimmer said to Castaspella. "It's all right, Glimmer. Adora, Noah, and the Pokemon haven't seen it. It'll be fun." Bow said to Glimmer. Glimmer gave Bow a mean look, and Bow gave Glimmer a "come on" look.
"Oh. Well, I guess it's up to Adora, Noah, and the Pokemon then. What do you all say, my dears?" Castaspella asked them. Glimmer waved at them, telling them to say no, but they ignored her.
"Uh… sure?" Adora said to Castaspella. "I want to see. I want to see." Eevee and Popplio said to Castaspella, jumping up and down a little. "It would be interesting." Ralts said to Castaspella. "I'm all for it." Rowlet said to Castaspella. "And I would love nothing more than to take a tour." Noah said to Castaspella, giving Glimmer a big smile. "Oh, I like them." Castaspella said to Glimmer, before leading everyone away, leaving an upset Glimmer, who followed them, eventually.
Soon everyone was in a massive chamber with a massive amount of pink diamonds covering the walls, and an opening in the ceiling with large pink crystals flowing around the opening. "Wow." Adora said, taking in the sights. "It's like something out of a dream." Eevee said to everyone. "Even I'm impressed." Rowlet said to everyone. "This would be a great place to perform." Popplio said to everyone. "Or have a dazzling battle." Ralts said to everyone.
"So what are those?" Noah asked Castaspella, pointing to the crystals floating around the opening. "The lunar lenses." Castaspella said to Noah. "We use them in the monthly ceremonies to renew Mystacor's magic defenses and keep us shielded from the outside world. You all will be coming to the Eclipse Ceremony tonight, won't you?" Castaspella asked everyone.
"Aunt Casta, I've seen the ceremony dozens of times. And we're all really tired from traveling. Maybe we'll skip it this time?" Glimmer asked Castaspella. "Nonsense. Your friends Adora, Naoh, Ralts, Eevee, Popplio, and Rowlet haven't seen it, and it's quite a sight to behold for a newcomer. All the pokemon will be there as well. Besides, don't you want to spend more time with your aunt?" Castaspella asked Glimmer.
"Of course. But we also really wanted to show everyone the beach." Glimmer said to Castaspella. "Well, if the beach is the only reason you're here, I really shouldn't keep you, should I? I certainly don't want to waste your time." Castaspella said to Glimmer, having her feelings hurt a little. Meanwhile Adora looked around. Then in a mirror, Adora saw the shadow.
"Auntie, I didn't mean it that way." Glimmer said to Castaspella. "Adora?" Bow asked Adora, as they all noticed Adora running away. "Well, someone is enthusiastic." Castaspella said to everyone. "No. That was something else." Noah said to everyone, as they went after Adora.
Adora ran and found herself in a hallway full of giant statues. "Ah, yes. The Hall of Sorcerers." Castaspella said to everyone, as they caught up to Adora. "These are the Great Ones who led Mystacor through the ages." Castaspella said to everyone, before stopping at a statue of a man. "This is Micah, my brother. We trained in these very halls together. Glimmer looks just like him, you know?" Castaspella said to everyone.
"Maybe it's just because it's a statue, but I don't see it." Noah said to Castaspella. "Yeah, he had a beard." Glimmer said to Castaspella. "Wait, Glimmer's dad was your brother?" Adora asked Castaspella. "Adora, do you know what aunt means?" Bow asked Adora. "No. I was just hoping someone would eventually explain." Adora said to Bow.
"Aunt or Uncle is what a child calls their parents brother or sister. For example, if Glimmer had kids, you would be Aunt Adora." Noah said to Adora. "But I'm not Glimmer's sister?" Adora asked Noah. "True, but back home, it's quite common for children of close friends of the parents to be called Aunt or Uncle. I even called someone that I wasn't related to Uncle when I was little." Noah said to Adora. "Who?" Adora asked Noah. "That would be me." A male voice said to Adora.
That's when everyone noticed Seth walking to them. "Seth! Hatterene, why didn't you tell me he was coming?!" Castaspella asked Hatterene, as she dusted herself off, and tried to clear herself up, which was unnecessary. Hatterene looked at Castaspella with a look that said "didn't feel like it".
"Hello everyone, my name is Seth Turquoise, I'm a friend of Noah's family, and I have many small titles, but the most recent are, noived fire Sorcerers and Pokemon teacher." Seth said to everyone, before bowing to them. "Seth, good to see you." Noah said to Seth. "Noah, is this another crew member?" Bow asked Noah.
"No. Like he said, he's a friend of my father and mother. He used to travel across the seas with them, whenever he needed a ride across the sea. They've had some crazy adventures along the way. He even gave me Feraligatr when he was little and I turned 10." Noah said to Bow. "And I taught him everything I know about Pokemon. He could have become a desnet trainer, but he wanted another captain in his family." Seth said to Bow.
"He seems pretty cool." Glimmer said to Castaspella. "Yes. I just wish Micah could have met him." Castaspella said to Glimmer. "I'm sure he was a cool dude." Seth to Castaspella. "He was." Castaspella said to Seth, before looking at that statue. "Auntie, we're going to avenge my dad and make sure that the Horde never hurts anyone else." Glimmer said to Castaspella, with an angry face. Seth noticed and felt uneasy about it.
"Mom believes in us, and in She-Ra, Raikou, and Suicune." Glimmer said to Castaspella, surprising Seth. Well, if your mother believes, who am I not to? She's an angelic being after all, I'm just a common sorceress." Castaspella said Glimmer. "You're anything but a common sorceress." Seth said to Castaspella, making Castaspella blush a little. "Thanks." Castaspella said, hiding her blush.
"Now what's this about Raikou and Suicune?" Seth asked everyone. "Yeah Aodra can use her sword to call them." Noah said to Seth. "May I?" Seth asked Adora. Adora pulled out her sword and passed it to Seth. "Interesting. I've seen the world, and I've never seen anything like this." Seth said to everyone, as he inspected the sword. "Oh that's interesting." Seth said to everyone.
"What? What is it?" Adora asked Seth. "These two marks. Their Guardian Signs. I've read about them in books, but never seen one." Seth said to everyone. "Why?" Adora asked Seth. "Guardian Signs was a way to call Pokemon to help. But only a few Pokemon know their signs, and will only give it to someone they completely trust. So if you have Raikou and Suicune signs you must be someone pretty important." Seth said to Adora, before passing the sword to Adora.
"Oh, and out of curiosity, why don't you like Angella? I mean, I can guess. But why?" Noah asked Castaspella. "Why do you have to ask her that?" Glimmer asked Noah. "She never writes to me, you know? I send letters, but do I ever get a reply?" Castaspella said to everyone, as they started to leave. But then Adora stopped in front of a statue that was all black and ruined a little.
"What happened to her?" Adora asked, making everyone stop. "Light Spinner. A scar on Mystacor's past. She sought power and complete control above all else, and she was cast out. Although some say she never really left. That she's only biding her time, waiting to exact her revenge. But those are only children's tales, of course." Castaspella said to Adora, scaring everyone but Hatterene and Seth. "Don't worry kids. I read about her. She's just another pathetic power hungry loser."
"Anyway, on with the tour. Are you hungry? I've had the dining room redone since last time you were here, Glimmer." Castaspella said to everyone, as they started to walk again. But Adora just stared at the ruined statue. Then the statue shadow started to move, and a shadow of Shadow Weaver appeared. Adora then looked around and saw nothing was in the hallway.
That's when Glimmer teleported the gang into the hallway, scaring Adora. "Okay. Aunt Casta's gone to fix us a big dinner and now it's finally beach time!" Glimmer said to everyone. But then they noticed Adora on guard. "You okay?" Bow asked Adora, as Seth walked back and stood at the entrance, listening in on their talk.
"It's worse than we thought. You need warm sand and calming waves. Stat." Glimmer said to Adora. "Actually, I have a better idea." Seth said to everyone, getting their attention. "Follow me." Seth said to everyone, leading them out of the wallway.
A few minutes later, Seth led them to an open area, with a Pokemon arena in the middle, and seats all around it. "Welcome to my classroom." Seth said to everyone. "This is a classroom." Adora asked Seth. "Yes." Seth said, before noticing some trash on the seats. "Uh, I told them to clean up after themselves." Seth said, before holding his hands close together.
Then he made a fireball and threw it. That's when held out two of his right fingers, making the fireball move like a comet, leaving a small travel of fire as it moved, and flying around the place. As it floated around, it burned the trash, quickly and without leaving a burn mark. Once all the trash was gone, he made the fireball move into the sky, and made it burst.
"There, much better." Seth said to everyone, with everyone's jaw on the floor. "What was that?" Noah asked Seth. "Comet Fire. An advanced spell. But it was pretty easy for me to cast. Apparently the problem is that you must see a real comet in your mind, and most of the sorcerers here have never seen one." Seth said to Noah. "I'm impressed that you can do magic. It's a rare skill. I tried magic once, but nothing happened." Bow said to Seth. "Well you won't need magic for this." Seth said to Bow, patthing Bow's back.
"And what are we doing?" Glimmer asked Seth. "We're having some Pokemon battles." Seth said to everyone. "What? We want to relax? Why do you want to fight us?" Glimmer asked Seth. "A battle can be the fastest way to someone's heart. Plus if you all want to fight this Horde, then I need to see how good your Pokemon are. After all, the road you're on isn't going to be an easy one." Seth said to everyone.
"Fine, if only to get this over with." Glimmer said to Seth, as she and Ralts moved to one side of the arena, and Seth on the other side. Everyone else took a seat on the first row of seats, sitting in the middle of the arena.
"You ready, Ralts?" Glimmer asked Ralts. "Sure." Ralts said to Glimmer, as he moved into the arena. "Heracross, show them how we do things." Seth said, opening one of his Pokeballs.
From it, a four foot tall massive dark blue beetle appeared. The beetle stood on two thick legs with a long white claw for a toe, two long arms, with sharp bumps on its wrist, and two long white claws for fingers, yellow eyes with black iris', small antenna with a ball on the end, and a massive horn right above its eyes, the horn ended with a V shape horn, with an axe like sides. "It looks tough." Glimmer said to everyone. "It is." Noah said, pulling out his phone.
Heracross. Singlehorn Pokemon. Bug + Fighting.
This Pokemon takes pride in its strength, which allows it to lift things 100 times heavier than itself with no problem at all.
"You can make the first move Glimmer." Seth said to Glimmer, as Noha put his Phone on his lap. "Ralts use Confusion." Glimmer said to Ralts. "Okay." Ralts said, as his eyes glowed teal, and a teal outline appeared around Heracross. But Ralts had a hard time moving Heracross back.
"Heracross use Aerial Ace." Seth said to Heracross. "You got it." Heracross said, breaking the teal outline, and disappeared. Heracross then reappeared behind Ralts, hitting Ralts, and sending Ralts flying in the air.
"Ralts use Teleport to recover." Glimmer said to Ralts. "Right." Ralts said, as he disappeared and then reappeared in front of Glimmer. "Now use Hypnosis." Glimmer said to Ralts. "Right." Ralts said, as he fired a pulse of purple energy at Heracross, making Heracross sleepy.
"Heracross use Brick Break on yourself." Seth said to Heracross. Heracross' arms glowed white, and he slammed his arms into the sides of his heads. This woke him up. "Good work Heracross." Seth said to Heracross. "Why did you have him do that?" Glimmer asked Seth. "To win sometimes you must be bold, and sometimes you must be smart. This case I used both, I knew that Brick Break won't do much damage, but it was bold enough to wake up. Now show me how smart and bold you can be." Seth said to Glimmer.
"Uh, Ralts use Double Team." Glimmer said to Ralts. "Uh, sure." Ralts said, as he made copies of himself. "That's smart, but not very bold." Seth said to Glimmer and Ralts. "Heracross shows them what it means to be smart and bold with Megahorn." Seth said to Heracross. "You got it." Heracross said, as his horn glowed light green. Then Heracross rammed his horn into the ground. Then he forced his horns up, sending rocks flying and crashing into the copies of Ralts.
"Like I said, smart and bold. Those are what you need to win. A battle is not a place for doubt. You need to focus and fight with all our might if you want a chance to win against something stronger." Seth said to Glimmer and Ralts. "Uh, oh, then I… I should…" Glimmer said, trying to figure out what to do.
"I'm just going to take a page from your book and charge full force." Ralts said, as he charged at Heracross, his head lowered. Heracross didn't move, or worry about this reckless attack. But then Ralts head glowed light blue, and he rammed his head into Heracross' face, under his horn. This dealt some damage to Heracross and made him slide back a little.
"Not bad Ralts." Heracross said to Ralts, shaking his head. "Heracross use Close Combat." Seth said to Heracross. "I've been waiting for you to say that." Heracross said, as he charged at Ralts. Heracross then fired a furry of rapid punches at Ralts, dealing major damage. Then Heracross did an uppercut and sent Ralts flying into Glimmer's arms, then glowed light blue.
"It's over. So who's next?" Seth said to Glimmer and asked everyone. "My turn. Let's go Rowlet." Bow said to Rowlet, as he and Rowlet got up and moved to the side of the arena, Glimmer and Ralts teleported to the seats, and Seth returned Heracross to his Pokeball. "Ready." Bow said to Seth, as Rowelt got into position. "Then let's see how you handle Emolga." Seth said, throwing a Pokeball into the air, opening in the air.
From the sky, a flying squirrel came flying down, with it's back black fur, two white front arms with three fingers and glider wing attached to its arms and the inner part of the glider wings was yellow, a white face, front body, and tiny feet, two large black eyes, two yellow spots on its checks, two big round ears with then outer inside of it being yellow and the inner inside being white, and a black tail that looks like a bolt of electricity.
"What is that?" Glimmer asked Noah. "That's Emolga." Noah said to Glimmer. "Can something like that fight?" Adora asked Noah. "You'd be surprised." Noah said to Adora, holding up his phone.
Emolga. Sky Squirrel Pokemon. Electric + Flying.
As Emolga flutters through the air, it crackles with electricity. This Pokemon is cute, but it can cause a lot of trouble.
"Okay Bow, let's see what you two got." Seth said to Bow, and Noah lowered his phone. "Okay. Rowlet us Razor Leaf." Bow said to Rowlet. "You got it." Rowlet said to Bow, as he fired sharp leaves at Emolga. "Emolga into the air." Seth said to Emolga. In the air, Emolga was able to dodge the leaves at the last second.
"Okay, that didn't work, try Tackle." Bow said to Rowlet. "Okay." Rolwet said, as he charged at Emolga. But again Emolga dodged the attack at the last second. "Emolga use Electro Ball." Seth said to Emolga. "Right." Emolga said, as she made a ball of electricity and threw it at Rowlet's back, knocking Rowlet out of the sky and into the ground.
"How can she dodge those attacks?" Bow asked, as Rowlet got up. "It's called gliding." Seth said to Bow. "I practice riding the wind of the attack, letting me ride its wind. The perfect way to dodge the attacks." Emolga said to Bow. "Now use Acrobatics." Seth said to Emolga. "You got it." Emolga said, before flying around Rowlet, making sharp turns, hitting Rowlet multiple times.
Emolga then landed on the ground. "Rowlet use Leafage." Bow said to Rowlet. "Right." Rowlet said, as he fired a gust of leaves at Emolga. "Emolga use Steel Wing to block those leaves." Seth said to Emolga. "Way ahead of you." Emolga said, as her wings turned silver and she used them to block most of the leaves, stopping all but a little of the damage.
"Bow you have to do better than that if you want to win." Seth said to Bow. "Emolga use Thunderbolt." Seth said to Emolga. "I've been waiting for you to say that." Emolga said, as she generated a large amount of electricity, and fired a bolt of electricity at Rowlet.
Then Rowlet dodged the Thunderbolt, by sinking into his shadow. Rowlet then appeared behind Emolga, and kicked Emolga in the back, forcing her to the ground. "Nice move." Emolga said to Rowlet, as she got up. "I think that's enough." Seth said to Bow. "but we can still fight." Bow said to Seth. "Maybe, but you still have a lot of practice to do. Remember a fight doesn't have to be face to face, use the enmormant, your natural abilities, get creative. That's how you win." Seth said to Bow.
"Adora your turn." Seth said to Adora, as Bow and Rowlet moved to the seats. "Okay." Adora said, as she got up, and she and Eevee moved to the arena, and got ready. "I have someone special for you Eevee. Vaporeon come on out." Seth said, as he let Vaporeon out of her Pokeball.
"What is that? It looks familiar?" Glimmer asked Noah. "That's a Vaporeon. And it should look familiar. That's one of the forms Eevee can become when she's older." Noah said to Glimmer. "You mean Eevee will become that when she is older?" Adora asked Noah. "Maybe?" Noah said to Adora. "What do you mean maybe?" Adroa asked Noah.
"Allow me to explain." Seth said, getting everyone's attention. "Eevee's are known for having the ability to evolve into many different Pokemon, depending on many things. When my Vaporeon was an Eevee, she would love to dive under the water." Seth said to everyone. "I'd love to see the world under the waves. It was magical to me." Vaporeon said to everyone, with a gentle and magical voice.
"So I knew she wanted to be a Vaporeon, because that was the form best suited for the life she wanted. "What do you mean?" Adora asked Seth. "here." Noah said to Adora, holding up his phone.
Vaporeon. Bubble Jet Pokemon. Water.
It has evolved to be suited for aquatic life. It can become invisible when it met's away into water.
"That's so cool." Bow said to everyone, sparkles in his eyes. "And that's just one of the many forms. When the time comes you and Eevee will have to pick who you want to be." Seth said to Adora. "And there can be no doubt when you make that choice." Vaporeon said to Adora and Eevee.
Then the shadow moved past them, but only Adora noticed. Adora then looked around. "Adora, focus on the task at hand." Seth said to Adora. "Right. Eevee use Quick Attack." Adora said to Eevee. "Okay." Eevee said, as she ran at Vaporeon at high speed.
"Vaporeon use Ice Beam on the ground." Seth said to Vaporeon. "As you wish." Vaporeon said, as she fired a light blue beam at the ground in front of her. That's when Eevee stepped on the ice, and made it slip and crash behind Vaporeon.
Then Adora noticed the shadow moving around again. "Adora focus, Eevee needs you." Seth said to Adora, as Eevee got up. "Oh right. Uh Eevee use Sand Attack." Adora said to Eevee. "Okay." Eevee said to Adora, as she kicked some sand at Vaporeon.
"Vaporeon use Aqua Ring." Seth said to Vaporeon. "Okay." Vaporeon said, as she formed two water rings around her. The water ring blocked the sand attack. "Now use Aqua Tail." Seth said to Vaporeon. "You got it." Vaporeon said, as her tail became encased in a large amount of water, and she charged at Eevee.
But Aodra wasn't paying attention, she was looking for that shadow. "Adora!" Eevee said to Adora, getting Adora's attention. "Oh, uh, Eevee use Protect." Adora said to Eevee. "Uh, sure." Eevee said, as she formed a green bubble around herself.
But Vaporeon stopped her tail near the bubble, but didn't make the water go away. And after a few seconds, Eevee lost control, and the bubble popped. "Need to work on that Protect." Vaporeon said to Eevee, before hitting Eevee with her tail, sending Eevee flying back a little.
"I was hoping for a more interesting fight." Seth said to Eevee. Adora was nervous about this. "Eevee use Quick Attack Again." Adora said to Eevee, trying to act like her normal self. "Okay." Eevee said, as she charged at Vaporeon at high speed. "Vaporeon show them some real speed with Aqua jet." Seth said to Vaporeon. "Right." Vaporeon said, as she encased herself in water, and flew at high speed. The two moved around at high speed, but Vaporeon was faster and dodged all of Eeve's attacks and landed hers.
"This can't be all you got?" Seth asked Adora and Eevee. "No, we got more." Adora said to Seth. "Really you've been distracted since the battle started. If you can't focus on the task at hand you can't win. You should just give up and let Eevee go." Seth said to Adora. "Bite your tongue. Adora is very strong, very kind, and keeps me safe. I don't want anyone but her to be my partner." Eevee said to Seth.
"Then show us what your bond with Adora can do?" Vaporeon asked Eevee. "Gladly." Eevee said, as she whipped her tail, this caused yellow stars to be sent flying at Vaporeon. And while Vaporeon tried to jump out of the way to dodge the stars, the stars turned and hit Vaporeon, knocking her off her feet.
"I didn't know you could do that?" Aodra asked Eevee. "Near could I." Eevee said to Adora. "Swift. Not a bad move. But you still have a way to go." Vaporeon said to Eevee, as she got up. "Vaporeon use Aqua Jet." Seth said to Vaporeon. "You got it." Vaporeon said, as she encased herself in water, and flew at Eevee at high speed. Vaporeon hit Eevee and sent her flying into Adora's hands.
"Well that's enough." Seth said to everyone. "Seth, can I stay out of my Pokeball for a bit and hang out with Eevee?" Vaporeon asked Seth, as Adora put Eevee down. "I don't see why not." Seth said to Vaporeon. "Thank you." Vaporeon said to Seth, before walking to Eevee.
"You did good kid." Vaporeon said to Eevee, as she, Adora, and Eevee walked to the seats. "You think so?" Eevee asked Vaporeon. "Given time and some more training. You'll be one impressive Eeveelution." Vaporeon said to Eevee. "Eeveelution?" Adora asked Vaporeon. "It's what humans and Pokemon call my kind, since there's so many versions of us, and every now and again we get a new branch or our evolution." Vaporeon said to Aodra.
"Okay Popplio, guess it's our turn." Noah said to Popplio, as he stood up and walked to the arena. "Do we have to?" Popplio asked Noah. "Don't worry, I have the perfect opponent for you." Seth said to Popplio. "Okay." Popplio said, as she moved to the arena. "Now say hello to my first Pokemon Typhlosion." Seth said, opening one of his Pokeballs.
From it, a five foot tall large creature, front half being tan, and the back half being black. Its legs were part of its big lower body, with a small stomp tail on the end of its body, helping it keep its balance, its feet where long with three toes, long arms with five stumpy fingers, a row of red spots right above it's arms, a four sharp teeth in a big mouth, two sharp pointy ears, and sharp red eyes.
Then it roared, making the red spots on the back of its back burst into large flames. "Uh oh, Typhlosion." Noah said to everyone. "Is that bad?" Bow asked Noah, making Noah hold up his phone.
Typhlosion. Volcano Pokemon. Fire.
Typhlosion obscures itself behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intensely hot flames. This Pokemon creates blazing explosive blasts that burn everything to cinders.
"I don't like this." Popplio said, getting scared. "Don't worry kid, I'll go easy on you." Typhlosion said to Popplio, with a fierce male voice, making Popplio even more scared. "Popplio use Baby-Doll Eyes." Noah said to Popplio. "Okay." Popplio, as her eyes became big and watery. And while it did make Typhlosion glow light blue for a bit, Typhlosion was unaffected but the eyes.
"Did you really think that would do much on me? Brick Break." Typhlosion said to Popplio, before his right hand glowed white. Then he punched the ground, causing large cracks to appear.
"Okay then Popplio use Aqua Jet." Noah said to Popplio. "Okay." Popplio said, as she became encased in water and started to fly around, ramming into Typhlosion. Popplio hit Typhlosion multiple times, but Typhlosion was unaffected by these attacks. "Your strategy isn't bad. But you're still a kid, and I've faced Legendary Pokemon before." Typhlosion said to Popplio, as Popplio kept hitting him.
"And got knocked out after a few minutes of fighting. Granted you did give them a run for their money." Vaporeon said to Typhlosion. "You didn't need to say that." Typhlosion said to Vaporeon. "Play nice you two. Typhlosion use Fire Pledge." Seth said to Vaporeon and Typhlosion. "Fine." Typhlosion said, before roaring, making his flames burst out. That's when the ground under him shot out fire geysers. This knocked Popplio out of the sky and caused her to crash on their half of the arena.
"Popplio keep your distance and use Disarming Voice." Noah said to Popplio. "Don't have to tell me twice." Popplio said, as she fired a spice burst with pink hearts in it. "Typhlosion use Flamethrower." Seth said to Typhlosion. "Got it." Typhlosion said, as he fired a steam of fire from his mouth, burning the sonic burst away, and hitting in front of Popplio, sending her flying near Noah.
"I can't do this." Popplio said to Noah, getting scared. "Yes you can. I know you can. You're my little girl, I know you're strong." Noah said to Popplio. "No I'm not." Popplio said to Noah. "Yes you are. I knew you were strong the second the second you started to sing. So stand tall. I know you can do this." Noah said to Popplio, smiling at her.
Popplio smiled too. "Okay, if you believe in me. Then I'll give it my all." Popplio said, as stood tall. "Okay then kid give me your best shot." Typhlosion said to Popplio. "Here I go." Popplio said, as she blew a swarm of bubbles at Typhlosion, and hit him in the face. It didn't do much damage, but it did give Typhlosion a sting. "I felt that." Typhlosion said, shaking his head.
"Not bad, you may be young, but with Noah, I'm sure you will not only grow up to be a beautiful lady, but a very strong one too. Now let us show you the first move we learned together. Typhlosion use Flame Charge." Seth said to Popplio and Typhlosion. "With pleasure." Typhlosion said, as he became encased in fire, and got down on all fours.
"Popplio use Bubble Beam again." Noah said to Popplio. "Right." Popplio said, firing a swarm of bubbles at Typhlosion. But even though the bubbles hit the flames, they didn't stop Typhlosion or put out her fire. Typhlosion kept charing at Popplio.
"Okay that's enough." Seth said to Typhlosion, making Typhlosion stop right in front of Popplio. Typhlosion turned off his fire and stood up. "That will be enough battling for now, go enjoy the beach, I'll go stall Castaspella." Seth said to everyone, before leaving with Typhlosion and Vaporeon. Then the gang started to head to the beach.
Fright Zone
In the Fright Zone, Shadow Weaver watched all this. "It's time for something more." Shadow Weaver said, as she made more shadows and pumped it into her shadow monster.
Mystacor
With the gang, they were setting up some blankets on a beach of Mystacor, with the beach being purple mist clouds. "So, we just, like, like here?" Adora asked everyone. "For the tenth time. Yes. It's not that complicated Adora." Noah said to Adora. "Just lay down and let your cres melt away. Didn't you do something like this to relax in the Horde?" Glimmer asked Adora, as the guys and Pokemon laid down. "Uh, no. We hit things." Adora said to Glimmer.
"Well, this is so much better. Right, guys?" Glimmer asked everyone, as she sat down. Bow was asleep, and the others were just enjoying the sun and didn't respond. "Just try it, okay?" Glimmer said to Adora, before laying down. Adora sighed. "Okay." Adora said, as she rolled out her blanket, and layed down.
But Adora was having a hard time, and had no idea what to do. It didn't take long for her to feel uncomfortable. "Okay." Adora said to herself, trying to figure this out. But all she ended up doing was annoying everyone else. "This isn't working for you, is it?" Glimmer asked Adora. "No. Can I move now?" Adora asked Glimmer. "Considering you ruin the mode, yes." Noah said, as everyone but Bow got up.
"Clearly, we're going to have to take this relaxation thing to the next level." Glimmer said to everyone. "Considering Adora could handle the simplest of relaxation. Are you sure that's a good idea?" Noah asked Glimmer. "It'll be fine. Bow, wake up." Glimmer said to Noah and Bow, clapping her hands. "What?" Bow asked, as woke up.
"Come on, we need to show Adora the steam grotto." Glimmer said to Bow, with a sparkle in her eyes. "Whoo! Steam grotto." Bow said to Glimmer. Then everyone started to move.
A few minutes later, they were underground, in an open area with a lot of pools of water, small waterfalls covering the place, and with steam in the air. While the Pokemon were the same as all ways, the humans were wearing robes and didn't have their stuff. "Wow." Adora said, taking in the sight. "Right?" Bow said, before they took off their robes, revealing her shorts and their individual tops, with Glimmer wearing a tank top, Bow wearing two pieces of fabric like an X, and Noah had fabric wrapped around his chest with a strap around his left shoulder.
Then Bow got into one of the pools. "Ah. Ooh, Ah. Ah." Bow said, as he got used to the water. "So these are hot springs." Noah said, as he joined Bow, and the Pokemon started to play in another pool. "The pools are full of magic minerals." Glimmer said to Adora, taking off Adora's robe, revealing her shorts, a fabric wrapped around her chest, and a piece of fabric that attached to her shorts, and went over her right shoulder.
"Sorcerers use them to cleanse themselves of worry and fear before big ceremonies or spells." Glimmer said to Adora, as she and Adora got into the pool with the boys. That's when Noah noticed tiny wings on her back, they looked like tattoos at the moment. "Huh. I guess she got something from her mom." Noah quietly said.
"Now, just clear your mind. Breathe deeply. Focus on the warmth on your skin. Let your body go perfectly…" Glimmer said, as they all closed their eyes, and started to rest, as the Pokemon kept playing.
After a bit, Adora woke up, and saw everyone was happy, with Glimmer next to her. That's when a shadow formed in front of her. "Adora." Shadow Weaver's voice said from the shadow.
This causes Adora to scream and get out of the pool, waking up the humans, and getting the Pokemon's attention. Adora ran from the shadow and grabbed her sword. This made the shadow disappear, and only steam remained. "No, no, no! No. Help!" Adora said, as the others walked up to Adora. "Adora!" Glimmer said to Adora. "Adora, what's wrong?" Noah asked Adora.
"Shadow Weaver's here! I saw her!" Adora said to everyone. "Adora, there's no one else here." Bow said to Adora, as the steam cleared. "You brought your sword in here? Are you okay? What happened?" Bow asked Adora, making Adora lower her sword and they sat down on a large stone seat.
"Shadow Weaver was here. In the grotto. She was in the Sorceress Hall, too. I saw her shadow on the floor." Adora said to everyone. "What are you talking about? Who is Shadow Weaver?" Glimmer asked Adora. "I heard Catra talk about her. She's not a nice lady right?" Eevee said to Glimmer and asked Adora.
"Shadow Weaver raised me in the Horde. She taught me how to read, tie my boots, and how to subvert the enemy and be victorious in battle." Adora said to everyone, "Okay, sure. Mom stuff." Glimmer said to Adora. "No. Commanding officer stuff." Adora said to Glimmer. "It sounds like both to me." Noah said to the girls.
"Okay it is." Adora said to everyone. "Adora, she isn't here. She was never here. It's not possible." Glimmer said to Adora. "But you don't know what she's capable of." Adora said to Glimmer. "Sounds like this Shadow Weaver really did a number on you growing up. But you're okay. You got away from her." Bow said to Adora, hugging her.
"Adora, If you need to talk about this Shadow Weaver, you can always talk to my father Or Seth about it. After all my father is my father, I'm sure he's got some parental wisdom in him. And Seth has helped kids with bad parents before, so I'm sure he can help you." Noah said to Adora. "And I'll be here to give you a nuzzle when you need it." Eevee said to Adora, as she jumped onto Adora's shoulder and nuzzled Adora, making Adora giggle. "Thanks Eevee. You two Noah." Adora said to Eevee and Noah.
"Do you wanna try something else? We could get massages or find you something to hit if that would work better." Bow asked Adora. "No. It's okay. I'm okay. I think I need to be alone. Clear my head." Adora said to everyone. "You sure?" Glimmer asked Adora. "Yeah. Eevee can you go with everyone?" Adora said to Glimmer and asked Eevee. "Okay." Eevee said to Adora, with a sad tune in her voice, and everyone left her alone.
Adora then could hear everyone talking. "Adora has finally lost it." Glimmer said to everyone, making Aodra move to the wall, eavesdropping on everyone. Did you see her there? I think she's going nuts." Glimmer said to everyone, making Adora move out of her cover. "I'm not crazy." Adora said, but that's when she noticed she was standing outside. "I'm- I'm not crazy." Adora said, hugging herself.
Adora then got dressed and went back into the hallway. There she looked at the ruined statue and sighed. "You're just a stupid statue." Adora said to the statue. "Pull it together, Adora. There's no way Shadow Weaver can be here." Adora said, before looking at her shadow.
That's when her shadow started to warp, making Adora gasp. That's when the shadow left out and attacked Adora, knocking Adora to the floor. This caused Adora to panic. "For the honor of Grayskull!" Adora said, before turning into She-Ra. "Hey, Adora." Catra's voice said to Adora, making Adora gasp.
"Catra? Where are you? How did you find me here?" Adora asked, as she looked around. "Nope. getting colder." Catra's voice said. "Whatever you're doing, I won't let you get away with it. Did Shadow Weaver send you?" Adora asked. "What do you think? Shadow Weaver controls us both. She always has." Catra's voice said.
"Catra, wait." Adora said, as she ran out of the hallway and into the massive chamber. "Catra?" Adora asked, only to hear Hordak laughing, freaking her out. "The Horde had high hopes for you, Force Captain. Disappointing. Does the Rebellion truly think you can save them? Nothing can stop the Horde, least of all you." Hordak's voice said to Adora. "Show yourself!" Adora said.
"You will lead them all, every Etherian, to their complete and utter annihilation. Nothing will be left but smoking ruins. You new friends burned beneath." Hordak's voice said to Adora, as Adora looked at some diamonds, and saw Hordak. But then her sword started to glow red, and the shadow and voices ran away.
"Why are you letting your fears get the best of you? Show them your roar! Show them your power! Show them the fire that will burn the shadows of the Horde away! All you need is to call me." A commanding voice said to Adora, in her mind. "I can't." Adora said, before throwing her sword at the wall, breaking a few of the crystals on the wall. This got Seth, Castaspella, Typhlosion, Vaporeon, Hatterene's attention, and they ran into the room.
But the damage made Castaspella gasp, and she started to pick up some of the broken pieces. "What have you done?" Castaspella asked Adora, with an angry tune in her voice. "Castaspella, calm down. Can't you see something is causing Adora to be distrence." Seth said to Castspella, as they noticed Adora was breathing heavily and had a scared look on her face.
"Adora, are you okay?" Vaporeon asked Adora, as Adora transformed back to normal. "Sorry. I didn't mean- I thought I saw-" Adora said, unable to complete a sentence. "Adora!" Glimmer said, as she and the rest of the gang ran into the room. "Your friend has destroyed a thousands years' worth of sacred writings. She could've destroyed the lenses that protect Mystacor." Castaspella said to everyone.
"She didn't mean to. Adora would never-" Bow said to Castaspella, but Castaspella interrupted him. "This is the kind of person you hang around with?" Castaspella asked Glimmer, before leaving. "Auntie, wait." Glimmer said to Castaspella. But Castaspella still left.
"Glimmer." Adora said to Glimmer. "It's okay, I'll handle her." Glimmer said to Adora, before leaving with Ralts. "The Horde isn't here, Adora. You need to sleep. Promise me you'll try." Bow asked Adora. "Okay. I'll try." Adora said to Bow. "I'll escort her to a quiet room." Seth said, as everyone left the room, with the shadow watching them.
Later that day, Adora was lying in a bed alone, looking at the eclipse that was about to start, when Glimmer walked into the room. This made Adora happy. "Glimmer. Look, I'm really sorry-" Adora said to Glimmer, but Glimmer interrupted her. "Save it, Adora. How could you do this? I thought you were supposed to be our friend." Glimmer said to Adora.
"I am your friend." Adora said to Glimmer. "You've ruined everything I've worked for. What kind of friend does that?" Glimmer asked Adora. "Glimmer-" Adora said to Glimmer, but again, Glimmer interrupted again. "You know what? Maybe you should just go." Glimmer said to Adora, before leaving the room, leaving a sad Adora. Then Glimmer smirked and turned into the shadow.
Back with the others, they were getting ready to watch the ceremony. Then Castaspella started the ceremony. "Is Adora coming?" Glimmer asked everyone. "I didn't wanna wake her up. She needs to sleep." Bow said to Glimmer. "And I doubt Adora would want to be here after what happened earlier today." Noah said to everyone. "Then you all should be with her, and not here. She needs her friends." Seth said to everyone.
Then the eclipse started, and Castaspella moved the crystals into place, making a beam of multi-color light move down to a cauldron. But that's when the shadow burst out of the cauldron, and cut off the light beam. Castaspella, Seth, and the Pokemon fired some spells and attacks to try and stop the shadow, but it was unaffected by the attacks, and it covered the room. Then the shadow attacked everyone.
Meanwhile Adora was walking around, with the sword on her back. Then the city shield started to flicker and shut down. This caused everyone in the city to panic. "Adora! Come on, we have to get out of here now!" Bow said, as he came running up to Adora. Adora followed Bow. "What's happening?" Adora asked Bow. "The protection spell is failing! We need to go!" Bow said to Adora.
"Wait, stop! What do you mean, failing? Where's Glimmer, Noah, and the Pokemon?" Adora asked Bow, as she tried to stop him by reaching out her hand. Only for her hand to go through him, revealing Bow was a shadow. "Everything that's about to happen is your fault, Adora. You're to blame." The shadow said as Bow, before leaving, making Adora gasp. Adora realized that she had to get to the ceremony, and ran to it.
When she got there, she saw everyone was out cold and laying on the ground. That's when the shadow turned into Shadow Weaver. "Adora." Shadow Weaver said to Adora. "Shadow Weaver!" Adora said, before running to her friends. But a wall of shadows blocked her. Shadow Weaver laughed at this, and got close enough to Adora to touch her.
But Adora forced the shadow hand off her. Adora tried to run, but Shadow Weaver kept grabbing her. "The eclipse is nearly over, Adora. When it is, the shield will be down. The Horde will conquer Mystacor, and bring you home to me." Shadow Weaver said to Adora, her voice echoing around her.
"No. I'll stop you!" Adora said to Shadow Weaver. "Why? To help these people and beasts?" Shadow Weaver asked Aodra, before putting a hand on Adora's shoulder, and making her look at the others. "Who are they to you? They don't understand you. Just as they did not understand me. When I walked among them as Light Spinner." Shadow Weaver said to Adora.
"What?" Adora asked. "They feared my dark power. They'll never accept you. Not like I do." Shadow Weaver said to Aodra. "No, no! You're wrong!" Adora said, pulling out her sword. "For the honor of grayskull!" Adora said, but nothing happened. "One can't stand against darkness, if one's heart is full of fear." A commanding voice said to Adora, in her mind.
You know deep down what I say is true. You are the ambitious, cutthroat, ruthless warrior I raised you to be." Shadow Weaver said to Adora. "No." Adora said, dropping her sword and dropping to her knees. "The Princesses and beasts don't care about you. They want to use you for your strength. Return now to the Fight Zone. Rule by my side." Shadow Weaver said to Adora, touching Adora's face.
But then the words Eevee said this day made her realize Shadow Weaver was wrong, and forced Shadow Weaver off her. Adora then moved to the others. "These are my friends. They've been kind to me. And Eevee is not some beast. She cares about me, and I care about her. Even if they don't accept me. I know I'll always have Eevee. Eevee is more to me than you ever were." Adora said to Shadow Weaver.
"I prepared you for greatness." Shadow Weaver said to Adora. "But you never loved me. You just played twisted mind games. I'm none of the things that you say I am. I'm not like you. You are bitter and cruel, and you're the one who used me! This is who I am. You hurt my friends, so now you're gonna pay." Adora said to Shadow Weaver, as she picked up her sword, stood up, and stood tall. Shadow Weaver just laughed at this.
"You have finally started to roar. Now call my name!" A commanding voice said to Adora, in Adora's head. Adora then slashed down, then up left at a 45 degree angle, then across, down right at a 45 degree angle, then up. Adora then raised her sword, and a surge of Fire appeared in front of her. Then fire faded away, revealing the lion. My name is ENTEI!" The Lion roared, as he caused the ground under him to burst into flames, driving the shadows back, and dealing damage to Shadow Weaver.
"Ugh! It's too late. The eclipse will be over in moments. Mystacor will fall and it will be your fault." Shadow Weaver said to Adora. "This is all you, you witch. And a few moments is all that it will take to stop you." Entei said to Shadow Weaver. "Adora, get on my back." Entei said to Adora.
Adora then moved to Entei's back. "I won't let you." Shadow Weaver said, as she tried to ram shadow spears threw Adora, but Adora made her sword into a shield, and the magic form it negated Shadow Weavers magic and dealt Shadow Weaver some damage. Adora then got onto Entei's back, and Entei started to jump on the walls, making them go up, and burning away Shadow Weavers shadows, causing even more pain to Shadow Weaver.
With every leap Entei took, flames were made, and Shadow Weaver could get close to them. "Adora, stop this. I can give you Etheria. We can use the beast and rule together. You were nothing before I took you in, Adora! And you will be nothing without me! You're weak." Shadow Weaver said to Adora, as she and Entei reached the eclipse beam.
"The only one weak here is you. You need her, far more than she needs you. You are nothing without her. Just a small shadow that will be driving away by the light." Entei said to Shadow Weaver, as Adora got off him. "Adora, enough of this. Come home." Shadow Weaver said to Adora. "Sorry, but my home is with Eevee, not you. I'm not going back. You have no power over me anymore." Adora said to Shadow Weaver, before using her shield, to redirect the light beam into the cauldron.
Then Entei let out a massive roar with fire at Shadow Weaver, at the same time Adora let out a bleeding light. This caused Shadow Weaver and her shadows to break apart. "NO!" Shadow Weaver screamed.
Fright Zone
In the Fright Zone, a massive amount of fire burst out of Shadow Weavers cauldron, causing it to melt and fall over, metaling most of the room, sending Shadow Weaver flying into a wall that wasn't melting, knocking her out, burning most of her cloths, making it all black with smoke coming off it, and causing a large amount of pain. But the crystal in the room was unaffected by this, in fact it negated the flames.
Mystacor
Back in Mystacor, everyone started to wake up, as the shield started back up, and Adora rode Entei down. "Adora! Are you okay?" Glimmer asked Adora, as she and the rest of the gang hugged Adora. "I'm okay." Adora said to everyone, chuckling a little.
"Yeah, I think I'm finally okay! She's gone. And I have you to thank for it." Adora said to everyone, before looking at Entei. "All I did was remind you of the fire within. You standing up to her was all you." Entei said to Adora. "Entei, it's been a while." Seth said to Entei. "You know this Pokemon?" Castaspella asked Seth. "Yes. Here." Seth said to Castaspella, pulling out his phone.
Entei. Volcano Pokemon. Fire.
A Pokemon that races across the land. It is said that one is born every time a new volcano appears.
"Ah Seth, it has been a while. Typhlosion I hope you've been keeping up with your training." Entei said to Seth and Typhlosion, as Seth put his phone away. "Of course master." Typhlosion said to Entei. "Then why did you let the witch over power you? Clearly, you need more training. But I have to go. We'll talk more about this another time." Entei said to Typhlosion, before disappearing in fire. "Always a pleasure to see him." Typhlosion said, as Adora's shield turned back into a sword, and the red line appeared on it.
"I'm so sorry we didn't believe you! We've been bad friends." Bow said to Adora, with big watery eyes. "No, you're not. This is what Shadow Weaver does. She manipulates people, she pushes them apart. But it's never gonna work on me again." Adora said to the gang, as Castaspella, Seth, and their Pokemon walked to Adora.
"I'm sorry, it's my fault she was here. I endangered Mystacor." Adora said to Castaspella. "Nonsense. You saved Mystacor." Castaspella said to Adora. Yeah, this was all that witch's fault, not yours. You have nothing to be sorry for." Seth said to Adora. "Glimmer has chosen her friends well. I'll knit you a sweater. What size are you in the shoulders?" Castaspella asked Adora, making everyone laugh a little and gave each other a group hug.
"I'm like, really tired." Adora said to everyone. "Then let's try relaxing again." Noah said to Adora. A few seconds later, they were back on the beach, and layed down. But then Adora had a little panic moment. "Glimmer?" Adora asked. "Right here, Adora." Glimmer said to Adora, as she sat up, letting Aodra see her. "We're all here Adora. Get some sleep." Eevee said to Adora, as she moved to Adora's head and nuzzled up to her, as she got ready to sleep.
With everyone around her, and Eevee next to her, Adora finally fell asleep. Noah then fell asleep with Popplio on his chest. Glimmer and Bow then fell asleep, with Ralts and Rowlet asleep next to them.
Fright Zone
Back in the Fright Zone, Catra, Chloe, Purrloin, Oshawott, walked into the room, and saw all the damage. "What happened here?" Catra asked everyone, as Chloe noticed Shadow Weaver. "Best guess Shadow Weaver failed, and picked a fight with a Legendary Pokemon." Chloe said to Catra. "How do you know that?" Catra asked Chloe.
That's when everyone noticed Shadow Weaver. "Lucky guess." Chloe said to Catra. "Should we help here?" Oshawott asked everyone. "Nah" Everyone, even Oshawott, said to everyone, before they all chuckled.
Then they noticed the broken cauldron, and the liquid inside it was still glowing and showing Adora and the others on the floor. "You've been going about this the wrong way, old woman. If you wanna take down Adora, you have to go for the heart." Ca tra said to Shadow Weaver, as she looked at the liquid. "Yeah, let's show these Princesses what it's like to lose to someone that they step on." Chloe said, before stomping on the pools, as an image of Glimmer was showing, causing it to splash, and break the spell.
