The next day,

"Now, are you sure you do not want to stay? It is not too late to change your mind." Yuuta said as he, his family, and the Tangs, awaited the train. "I am sure. This is what is best for my family now, Hamato but I appreciate your offer."

Amaya smiled. "We will see you again in the summer." Yoshi frowned and looked at Shen. "By, Shen..." Shen frowned as well and waved at him. "Bye, Yoyo." Atsuko grinned. "They are so cute, aren't they?" She whispered to her husband and Yuuta nodded in agreement.

Yuuta also noticed his son's kindness towards Shen and hummed in thought. A daughter that comes from a long line of shinobis and a son that comes from a long line of legendary ninja masters...what a pair the two would make if they ever one day fell in love.

"Mr and Mrs. Tang, the train will be leaving shortly." One of the soldiers said. Fu nodded and he and his wife bowed to the Hamatos. "We appreciate all that you have done for us."

The Hamatos bowed in return. "Let us know if there is anything else we can do. You are apart of our clan after all." Yuuta replied and Fu just gave a slight smile before he and his family got on the train.

When the train drove off, Yoshi waved and shouted, "BYE, SHEN!!" Atsuko laughed. "I think our son has his first crush." Yuuta only smiled at the sight.

...

Meanwhile,

Saki was walking down the stairs, rubbing his tired eyes and looking all around for Yoshi but did not see him anywhere. He frowned. His brother was the only one he felt comfortable around and without him, Saki did not know what to do with himself.

Saki went into the kitchen, hoping to find his brother in there but unfortunately, he was not, only Hamato Yumi. Yumi turned and smiled at him. "Good morning, Saki. You have been sleeping for a long time, I was starting to worry."

Saki stood silent and looked down at his feet. Yumi smiled at the action. "Would you like breakfast?" Saki looked at her and gave a simple nod. "Alright. Sit down and I will cook you a fried egg, how does that sound?"

Again, Saki stood silent and did what he was told to do. Yumi sighed, a little disappointed then got to work. Saki watched her cook and Yumi smiled at his curiously, it reminds her a lot of Yuuta when he was younger. Always watching and observing. When Yumi was done cooking the egg, she put it in a tiny bowl and put in front of Saki. "There you go."

Saki looked at her then the egg before grabbing his fork and eating it. Yumi sat across from him and watched him eat, smiling. They sat in silence for a long time until Saki noticed her staring and froze, looking at her confused. Yumi took the chance to speak, "Saki, I know you do not know me well and I know that you are probably having a hard time understanding but..." Yumi put a gentle hand on his cheek, guiding him to look her in the eyes and gave him a loving smile. "We love you and we will never hurt you. I know you are too young to really understand what I am telling you, but I just needed to tell you. You are a Hamato now and we look out for each other, we will never do anything to harm you."

Yumi then removed her hand as Saki looked at her with an unreadable expression. Yumi just gave him one last smile before taking a sip of her tea. Then...Saki did the most unpredictable thing. "G-Gran?"

Yumi gasped and looked at Saki in shock. "S-Saki, did...did you just speak to me?"

"...Gran." Saki said again, his face unsure but his voice with a hint of hope and Yumi quickly jumped to her feet, going to Saki and giving him a tight hug. "You did, you spoke! I am so happy, your parents will be so happy too!"

...

Later,

Yuuta, Atsuko, and Yoshi returned home. Yumi came out with Saki, smiling. "Did everything go well?"

"Yes, the Tangs are on their way to Fukuoka as we speak." Yuuta said and Atsuko sighed. "I hope everything goes well for them."

"I can still see Shen, right?" Little Yoshi asked and the parents smiled at him. "Of course, Yoyo. Did you not here was Amaya said? They will be here in the summer." Atsuko said while ruffling his hair. Yoshi pouted. "But that will take forever!" He whined. "Ninjas need to know patience, Yoshi." Yuuta gently scolded.

Yoshi still pouted but bowed his head in submission. "Yes, papa."

"How did everything go with Saki, Okaasan?" Atsuko asked and Yumi smiled. "See for yourselves. Saki, wishes to see you both." She said, and the two threw a quick glance at each other as Yumi set Saki down.

Saki looked up at them shyly, but Yumi gently pushed him forward. "Go on, Saki." Saki slowly walked up to Yuuta and Atsuko as they stared down at him patiently. Saki then looked up at them, meeting their eyes, shyly. "...M-Mama? Papa?"

Atsuko and Yuuta stood frozen in shock, letting out a surprise gasp. Atsuko was the first to snap out of it and she grinned as she scooped Saki up, holding him over her head. "Saki! You called me Mama!" She cheered as she kissed him numerous times on the cheek. "I'm so, so proud of you!"

Yuuta smiled as well and patted the boy's head while Saki just smiled at them. He then noticed Yoshi who was staring at them curiously and pointed. "Brother!" He said, not so unsurely as he did with Yumi, Atusko, and Yuuta. He sounded 100% sure when he said it and Yoshi chuckled at him and said, "Brother!" as well.

Atsuko shared a warm smile with Yuuta, both feeling like things from here on out were going to be alright.
