"Hinata! Hiroto!" Nagisa was happy to see his old friends. "How are you two fairing?"

"We're doing fine, Nagisa." Hiroto said as he greeted the smaller man with a thump to the shoulder.

"When word got out that you needed replacements, we joined up as soon as possible." Hinata said with a smile. Nagisa returned it.

"Yeah, we need them pretty badly." He looked around before pulling them to the side, telling them the truth of his confrontation with Asano. Hinata gave him a hug.

"You did it in self-defense. Even if Korosensei wouldn't approve, he would understand."

"Thanks, you guys."

"Shiota." Nagisa turned to see Colonel Takakuwa Akio approaching them. Karma was following him. "Come on, the sixth needs us to report."

"Okay." Nagisa nodded his head before leading Hiroto, Karma, and Hinata onto the Chinnock to take off to reinforce the Sixth Armored Division.

Meanwhile in Kami, Type 10 tanks of the sixth armored Division were holding their ground as the 2nd Royal Samurai Division of the Chugoku Kingdom were constantly charging them wearing bullet proof armor and wielding some Katanas. The Infantry of the sixth armored Division fought hard as well but were slowly losing ground as the commander said, "These Samurai Boys are non stop! Where are our Reinforcements?!"

"They are on the way sir! Should be here-!" said a soldier before getting shot in his head. The commander fired his pistol back at the shooter.

Back in the Chinooks, Nagisa saw the devastation the Chugoku Kingdom had done. Farmland destroyed, town in ruins, he even saw a mass grave near one town.

"Touchdown behind the enemy in five!" Colonel Akio called. Nagisa nodded his head and noticed Hiroto and Hinata holding each other's hands.

"We'll be fine." he assured them. Hiroto and Hinata smiled at him before alarms began to sound off.

"We got incoming!" Colonel Akio tilted the Chinook to the side as they dodged shots from Type 91 Portable Surface-to-Air Missile launchers.

"Take evasive Actions!" Colonel Akio told his pilots. Soon they came under fire from Type 87 self-propelled anti-aircraft guns. Three Chinooks got shot down and crashed while Colonel Akio called for nearby Bell AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopters to assist them. They came and fired from their M200 launchers and Miniguns.

"Dammit!" Colonel Akio sighed at the loss of three Chinooks.

"Colonel, we got reports that the men survived the crashes!" one of the men reported, causing Akio to sigh in relief. Nagisa smiled as Colonel Akio then began to land his chinook and Nagisa led the men with him off it. Looking at his map, Nagisa saw that they landed close to the town behind the enemy's command center.

"Let's send in the heavy guns and mortars to attack the command center. Everyone else will break through enemy lines to deliver supplies." Karma suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." Nagisa agreed. "You lead the heavy guns, and I'll lead the Relief Force. Break!"

Meanwhile in the states, President Elizabeth managed to get her forces to draw a battle line after losing all of Tennessee and Mississippi while North Carolina's Governor simply rolled over for Bertrand and his republic.

"Ma'am! Navy invaders had attacked New Orleans, Tampa, and Miami!"

"Dammit!" she slammed her fist on the desk. "Does anyone have any good news?!"

"Ma'am!" a new soldier came in. "General Vializ! He's leading his men to the front lines to help defend the Southern Republic!"

"..." Elizabeth is silent before grinning. She looked at the sky.

"Ride fast General."

Back in Japan, Karma got his mortars set up and they waited for his signal to launch their mortars. Leading his men to get close enough, Karma signaled the mortars to fire three rounds each before stopping. He loaded a round into his rifle and told the mortars, "Now."

Three tubes fired and three rounds flew. They landed with a heavy impact around the command center, sending the staff scrambling for cover.

"NOW!" Karma shouted as he stood up and opened fire, with multiple of his men standing up and firing as well. Several of the command staff were gunned down. Some were brave and foolish enough to try to charge the militia, but instantly were gunned down.

As the attack on the command center commenced, Nagisa led his forces, which included Hiroto and Hinata, managed to punch into the backs of the 2nd Royal Samurai Division soldiers attacking the sixth. He called for transport trucks to arrive as the Bell AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopters from before also came to assist them. The 2nd Royal Samurai Division was in complete shock to be attacked from behind and for the first time in history, they retreated. The tired soldiers of the FJR Sixth Armored division breathed a sigh of relief as the supply trucks came in with Nagisa riding one.

After a while, Nagisa was told that the men that were in the chinooks that were shot down were picked up and brought to the town as Colonel Akio and the commanding officer of the sixth walked up to him.

Colonel Akio said, "Meet the commander of the Militia who saved your ass." The commander saluted Nagisa and said, "Colonel Hitoshi Akio, Sixth Armored Division."

Nagisa heard the last name and asked, "Brothers?" the Akio brothers nodded their heads, causing Nagisa to chuckle.

Colonel T. Akio said, "I may have asked to help out personally as I was worried for my little brother."

"It's ok, I understand, you'd do anything for your family." Nagisa said as he thought back to a year after the Collapse. He tried to find his mother and found her in an alleyway, she was beaten, stabbed, and violated. He took her home and cared for her. She was in shock. She knew that she wasn't the best mother and thought her son had forgotten her, but here he was, helping her. Remembering this made a surge of bloodlust almost emerge from his psyche, but he suppressed it.

"Shiota! Akabane and his team were successful in taking a large multitude of prisoners of the 2nd Royal Samurai's command structure!" Someone reported to Nagisa.

"Good. Take them to the cells for interrogation." The soldier nodded his head and walked off. Nagisa then sat down and drank water as the people of the city came and offered his men some refreshments.

"We should have someone contact Kyoto." Nagisa said.

"Already done, the president was appreciative of you, Colonel Shiota. Said you were a good choice for the Kunugigaoka Acorn Militia, and I have to agree. You saved our asses. Those 2nd Royal Samurai guys are fanaticals loyal to the Chugoku Kingdom." Colonel H. Akia said to the other two commanders.

"Colonel! The fleet took down the Chugoku Kingdom Royale Navy in a battle in Japanese waters!" another soldier reported. "South Korea survived and took North Korea to become the United Korean Republic!"

"Here's to hoping we form an alliance with South Korea." Nagisa said with a grin. The Akio brothers nodded in agreement.

After waiting for reinforcements, Nagisa and the Kunugigaoka Acorn Militia were able to head back to Kyoto. Colonel T. Akio flew him and his men back and when they landed, Nagisa saw some Military Police walk up to him.

"Colonel Shiota, please come with us." one requested with a rough tone.

"What's the matter?"

"You are needed for questioning about the death of Colonel Asano." the officer answered as Nagisa was semi-surrounded. The bluehead sighed and went with them while Karma sent messages to all of the militia.

The next day saw Nagisa being put in front of the board while Gakuho Asano looked him over with a slight glare in his eyes. Nagisa watched as a member of the militia was brought up for questioning.

"Tell me. Was Nagisa Shiota the one who killed Colonel Asano?"

"... Yes sir."

"... How did he do it? Was it in cold blood?"

"No. The late Colonel pushed us all to death. He was a tyrant who didn't hesitate to send his soldiers to death simply because he deemed it 'necessary, and ignored any other solution!" the member's voice was raised by the end of her sentence. "He ignored whatever Colonel Shiota told him out of his own arrogance."

"I didn't ask for that, soldier. And if this was true, why weren't there any formal complaints?"

"With you as the minister of education and being close friends with the minister of defense. No one would've listened to us." The soldier took a breath. "Colonel Shiota cared more about us than Colonel Asano did, and made more changes for us."

"So. My son was murdered to make you happy?" Gakuhou's voice was calm, but dangerous. The soldier wisely kept her mouth shut.

"Objection." Nagisa's lawyer spoke up. "Interviews revealed that the death of Colonel Asano was the result of a duel, in which the late Colonel attempted to use weapons restricted from the battle."

"Colonel Shiota won that fight. Colonel Asano tried to cheat. I knew him from Junior High, sir, and he was a monster then. Now, he was just a monster on a literal high horse." the soldier said.

"Be quiet." Gakuhou silenced her with a cold tone. "Should we not be concerned that Colonel Shiota clearly lied about the circumstances of Colonel Asano's death?"

"Objection, we are here to determine the guilty parties involved in the death." Nagisa's lawyer cut in.

"What he did is still a clear violation of his duties and protocol." Gakuhou's lawyer spoke up.

"Very well. Colonel Nagisa, you will be under investigation and suspension." the Minister of Defense said. Nagisa nodded, accepting the punishment.

"Don't worry." his lawyer whispered. "Your recent contributions will give you a leg to stand on, especially in this war torn world."

"So, Colonel. Did you really kill my son?" Gakuhou asked coldly. Nagisa straightened his back, squared his shoulders, and met the former principal's gaze.

"Yes, I did. But it was in self-defense."

Nagisa couldn't blame Gakuhou's efforts. He killed his son after all. Gakuhou did what he could to make Nagisa appear as the aggressor and make him the guilty party, but every witness claimed that it was self-defense and justified. The board had to intervene several times to make sure that the witnesses were speaking objectively as opposed to opinions, but it was clear that Asano wasn't popular, or efficient.

After a good amount of debates and interrogation, the Military Tribunal that Gakuhou hoped would help him find justice looked over the evidence, and were forced to dismiss the charges on the grounds of self-defense. Nagisa held back his sigh and smile of relief until after he left the room with Gakuhou sitting in defense.

"I'm sorry, friend. I can't imagine the pain you're feeling." the Minister of Defense said. "But perhaps you should let it go. At least until we can afford to make a new case."

"... Fine." Gakuhou's tone and eyes made it clear that it wasn't fine, though.

In the states, General Vializ was at the front lines with his men fighting against the Bertrand republic. He was like General Reynolds, commanding his men in the thick of it all at risk of being shot at.

"MAKE THEM PAY FOR EVERY INCH OF GROUND MEN! MAKE THEM PAY IN BLOOD!" he shouted out with a booming voice. The men of the Northern and Southern Republic cheered as they made the Bertrand Republic pay in blood. Just then, a Sherman Tank with the Bertrand Republic flag painted on it came into view. It took aim and fired a shot that brought down the horse he was riding on, trapping him under it.

"General!" Multiple men ran forwards to free him, but the general yelled back at them.

"NO! KEEP THE LINE TOGETHER!" he yelled as he tried to free himself. He took out his pistol and fired at the tank as it rolled forward, until with a wet crunch, it crushed him underneath. His men, now filled with anger for the loss of their commander, fought with a new Vigor until they were told about the naval landings behind them and the fall of Atlanta. Not wanting to lose their new home, they fought on until the last man. President Bertrand was shocked at how there were Northern Republic soldiers in the southern Republic when he was told that the Badlands were split down the middle.

"I see, this will complicate matters there." John said as he crossed his arms. He sighed, looking out of the window with an uncaring look.

"Crush them." His general nodded his head and ordered the men to crush all resistance, and they did exactly that. Soon all the soldiers from the Northern Republic were killed, fighting to their last man.

"President John? President Elizabeth." John turned to look Elizabeth over. He kneeled down and grabbed her face, making her look him in the eyes.

"... The troops will need a play thing. I think I just found it. Take her away."

"Bastard!" Elizabeth struggled as she was dragged away. John smiled, now in control of the Southern Republic. Now he could focus on the countries west of the Mississippi River.

"Sir, they're on call." John nodded in acknowledgement and turned to the computer.

"Ah, greetings. I'm pleased that the Raiders, Spiders, and Tigers have joined me." he said. The leaders had mixed expressions, but they were submissive.

"Here's a warning though. The Burning Corps and Sentinels refused to join and pledged assistance to the West Coast Republic." John frowned at this. He turned away and sighed.

"Well now, this is not ideal. With the West Coast Republic backing those who didn't side with me, there will be another war, this time with me being on defense, and so soon after multiple wars. This could be rather, difficult."

"What's your plan to deal with the other two and the West Coast Republic?" asked one of the biker leaders. John grinned in response.

"Total Annihilation. I hope you three are ok with that. I promise you all safety and those two didn't want it. So they will get what's coming to them."

"I never did like my brother anyway." Queen Arachnide said with distaste. The Alpha sighed before he was reassured that it was the right choice.

John stood up and looked at a map of North America and said, "I will let you know when it is time to deal with the other two biker gangs. But for now I need to rest my men. They are loyal, but useless if they were to break. For now, don't tell the others my plan. Once it gets time to strike, I will let you know." The three leaders nodded their heads and the call ended.
