A few days after the battle of Takamatsu, the Free Japanese Republic and the Shikoku People's Democratic Republic became official Allies and together took the capital of Chugoku Kingdom, Okayama, and forced the Chugoku Kingdom into dissolving and the land carved up by the two Allies along the Shimane/Hiroshima-Tottori/Okayama border line. Both sides got what they wanted and were on good terms.
Meanwhile, Nagisa had returned to Kyoto, where he saw Kayano sitting on a bench, likely waiting for him. He took a few breaths, and walked over to her. When she spotted him, she got to her feet and came over to her. They stood a bit away from each other for a bit before hugging, sharing a good cry.

"Hey! Guys!" Sugino yelled as he ran up with Karma and Yukiko. "We just got told that Yuma and others are here! They're about to dock!"
And things were looking higher.
At the dock, Yuma and Meg were standing, with Hadet sitting on her dad's shoulders, overlooking Tokyo Harbor. Toka and Kimura were standing next to them, all four adults smiling at the sight of the Japanese land. The ship eventually docked, causing the four to begin moving to get off. However, the rest of the passengers were muttering and simply standing around the stairway.
"Daddy? Why are there a bunch of guys in weird clothes?" Hadet asked. Yuma and Meg looked at each other before pushing their way to the front. They looked to see that the port had a bunch of military men lining up, before spotting a few waving hands.
"Hey! It's our friends!" Toka said as she pushed her way to the family's side with Kimura.
"They're in the military?" he asked. The two parents shrugged as the boat stopped, and a plank was placed to let them leave. Nagisa was the first to hop on the ship and hug his friends. He had not seen them in a decade and he was happy they were safe.
"Meg! Yuma! Toka! Masayoshi!" Nagisa said as he hugged his friends.
"Good to see you guys again." Karma said as he shook Yuma's hand and bro hugged him. Rio and Yukiko hugged Meg and Toka as Kayano smiled at them all. Soon they were all in Kyoto and the four were shocked to see that their friends were all in the New World Order Government. Nagisa then told the four that he and the others joined a Militia made from graduates from their Junior High School.
"Amazing." Yuma said in awe.
"So who is this young lady?" Yukiko asked, looking at Hadet. Yuma then introduced them to Hadet as his daughter with Meg.
"Hadet sweetie, meet your aunts and uncles." Yuma told his shy daughter who was now hiding behind her daddy's legs.
"Hi…" Hadet said as she looked at them shyly. Nagisa smiled, knelt and said, "Hi there, I'm Nagisa. I'm friends with your mommy and daddy."
"Colonel Shiota!" said a man in military gear, surprising the group.
"Captain Itami!" replied Nagisa as he walked away from the group and greeted the commander.
"The president requested that you escort Me and my team to the Tochigi Provinces and FJR Border."
"Alright. Men!" The militia all snapped to attention. "Get ready! It's time to go!"
"Yes sir!" The militia all began to board the jeeps. Nagisa turned back to his friends.
"See you guys back at base," he said.
"Good luck, Nagisa." Yuma said.
Meanwhile, President Bertrand was looking at Emperor Jessie in his cell as the man in chains glared at him.
"Oh please Emperor Jessie, you know I'm a brutal man." John said to the chained man. Emperor Jessie tried to grab him but John stepped out of his reach while the guards took stun guns and tased him to keep him back.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH! I'LL KILL YOU! YOU HEAR ME!" shouted Emperor Jessie. He saw John smile before gesturing to a guard. The guard nodded his head and left, coming back with Emperor Jessie's struggling young daughter.
"How old is your daughter? 10? 9? This world is all she's ever known. Not like us." John said as he pulled on Emperor Jessie's Daughter's hair, making her yelp.
"LET HER GO SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" Emperor Jessie shouted before getting Tased again.
"Well Emperor Jessie, your daughter is the only way I can keep you under control. You try to fight against me." President Bertrand told him before taking a knife out and cutting her cheek. She began to cry. "And she gets hurt. Don't worry my wife will take care of her. After all, I am the only thing keeping your precious daughter safe."
Emperor Jessie growled as his daughter was taken away. He was then pulled back as President Bertrand walked away from the cell.
Back in Japan, Nagisa was in a jeep with Captain Itami as they drove to the border.
"So from what I heard about the alliance discussions, this President John Bertrand is a mad man and they need help." Captain Itami said to Nagisa.
"Well I'm not a diplomat so I don't know what to say. I leave the politics to the politicians. Anyway this president Bertrand seems like a real nutcase." replied Nagisa.
Captain Itami nodded his head as he looked at the passing scenery.
"By the way, how come you drive your own transport?"
"I just do. I'm used to driving so why change it."
"Oh yeah, that reminds me. I heard a rumor that you killed the last commander in self defense?" Itami asked Nagisa
Nagisa nodded his head as he drove onward. After driving for a bit, Nagisa and his men got Itami and his team to the border. Captain Itami got out and said, "thanks, we'll call for pick up." Nagisa nodded his head and took his militia away from the border but was still in Radio contact with Captain Itami.
In Kyoto, Kayano met up with Meg and Toka at a cafe and they all sat outside.
"So Kayano, did you and Nagisa do the deed?" Toka asked her greenette friend.
"Well… here's the thing." Kayano said before telling Toka and Meg about the situation between her and Nagisa.
"Oh wow. So he was mad but then you two made up." Meg said as she ordered a coffee. Kayano nodded and sighed.
"I just feel horrible for not waiting for as long as he did. Not to mention from what I heard, he and Rio started dating." Kayano said to her friends.
"At least you and Nagisa made up, that counts for something right?" Toka said as she took Kayano's hand. She then said, "Anyway, let's get something to eat. I'm starving." Kayano and Meg smiled and they began to order food.
Back at the Tochigi Provinces and FJR Border, Nagisa and his militia were holding tight for Captain Itami and his men to come back.
"Maybe it was the Akita Union who wanted a war between us and the Tochigi provinces." Karma suggested.
"Maybe, but there's also the Hokkaido Empire. Or even the Chuguko kingdom." Sugino said.
"I highly doubt it's the Hokkaido Empire, Tomohito. They're on the other side of the Akita Union." Nagisa said as he wiped his rifle.
"Still, why did Captain Itami's team get sent across the border?" Asked a soldier. Nagisa shrugged his shoulders and said that he didn't know.
Just then, a whistling sound was heard and Karma shouted, "MORTARS!"
The men took cover as their vehicles took Mortar Fire. Nagisa and karma ducked behind a fallen tree as they looked for where the Mortars were coming from and one soldier said that the Mortars were coming from an abandoned building nearby.
"BASEBALL GEEK! WOMANIZING SCUMBAG! FLANK THEM!" Nagisa shouted to Tomohito and Hiroto.
'Why did he use my codename from Junior High? I GREW OUT OF THAT!' thought Hiroto as he and Tomohito ran to the building to ambush the mortars.
"Nice idea for the codenames." Karma said as he covered his head. Nagisa agreed.
As Tomohito and Hiroto got closer, they saw the mortar teams and they saw that they were wearing Akita Union patches. They readied their rifle and shotgun and opened up on the mortar teams, cutting down a few before taking the rest prisoner.
After a while, Itami and his team came back and saw the vehicles wrecked.
"Captain Itami. Don't worry we called for a pick up." Nagisa told Captain Itami before explaining what happened to him.
"Casualties?" Captain Itami asked Nagisa.
"4 men were caught by the mortars, and all the vehicles took hits." Nagisa informed him.
"What's worse is that the Mortar teams were from the Akita Union." Karma said as he brought over the highest ranking Ataki Union officer.
A little later, vehicles rolled up to them bearing the Free Japanese Republic Symbol on the doors. When the lead vehicle's door opened up, General Karasuma stepped out and walked over with Kayano and Manami coming out too. Manami hugged Karma as Kayano hugged Nagisa closely, and that made Rio bite her lower lip. Kayano saw that and backed up while blushing.
"Sorry Rio… I was worried sick about all you guys." Kayano said as she hugged Rio.
"Just Nagisa most of all." Rio said as she hugged the greenette back while she nodded. General Karasuma was then given the Ataki Union commanding officer by Karma.
Back in Kyoto, Nagisa watched two FJR Military Police officers take turns punching the Ataki Union commanding officer of the Mortars for information, but he refused to budge. That was when Nagisa was told that some of the other soldiers from the Ataki Union broke.
Meanwhile, in North America, President Bertrand was told the armies were ready to attack the west coast Republic.
"Mr. President, we just got word from our Embassy in the Ataki Union, one of their Mortar teams was captured." said one of the generals under President Bertrand's command. President Bertrand cursed and said, "Clearly the Operation in Japan has backfired, tell the Embassy to start destroying all intel related to the operation immediately. Then prepare for Operation: Ocean Connections. We will have all the states." the General nodded his head and walked out.
President Bertrand walked out of the tent and saw the Helicopters of the Bertrand republic take off for the border with the West Coast Republic. With a satisfied smirk, he walked back in the tent as a slave girl was brought in to give him a blow job.

They had all the slaves watch as President Bertrand walked out with his Pistol to where the slave girl was. Without a second thought, John pointed his pistol at her head and pulled the trigger. Her lifeless body now hung by the rope she was tied up to.
"GATHER ALL THE SLAVES FROM THE GREAT LAKES DOMINION! FOR EVERY NINE SLAVES, SHOOT FOUR SLAVES! THIS I DECREE AS PRESIDENT!" President Bertrand shouted to his men. They obeyed and began the massacre of the Great Lake Dominion slaves.
Back in Japan, Nagisa was still shocked that the Bertrand Republic had some part in the war between the FJR and Tochigi Provinces. His anger bubbled up and he punched a wall to relieve his anger. Suddenly a pair of arms slipped around his waist. He looked over his shoulder to see Kayano. He turned and she gave him a hug, calming him down.

"Let's not be that drastic. Simply fire a few M.O.B. Hit the bigger groups of the opposing forces. Weaken them, and take them over before they have a chance to strike back." His generals nodded their heads and walked out. President Bertrand saw his Army's Helicopters take off for the front lines.
In the Jail cell, Emperor Jesse was chained to the wall when an explosion took out one of the walls. Texan Empire Commandos rushed in and one of them said, "Free our emperor."
The others nodded and began to free Jesse as he looked at them and asked them, "How did you know?"
The head Commando said, "President Bertrand said you gave him power over us, but my squad never believed it. We did some digging and we found the truth." That was when Bertrand Republic soldiers came down and opened fire, only to take cover as the Texan Empire Commandos returned fire.
"GET THE EMPEROR OUT OF HERE!" shouted a Commando before being shot in the head from the hole. The commandos looked and saw President Bertrand holding his M1911 Pistol up with several Bertrand Republic soldiers and commandos. Emperor Jesse sighed and said, "Men, I thank you for this attempt of rescue, but I will not have you risk your lives for a foolish endeavor, please surrender for your sake."
The Commando sighed, seeing their rescue attempt failed, and surrendered. Emperor Jesse then asked President Bertrand to spare his men out of compassion. President Bertrand walked over and said, "Oh, of course, I will ensure they are treated right." President Bertrand had his men escort the commandos after whispering into the ear of one soldier. The soldier nodded his head and walked out the hole, pulling his pistol out of its holster.
