Along a roadway in the Mainland US, a Bertrand Republic Patrol was walking when it got silently ambushed, soldiers being taken one by one until one was left. Akabane dropped down and scared him with a demonic look on his face. The last soldier ran for his life before being shot in the head by a sniper. Akabane looked behind him and said, "Nice shot Ryu." The man who fired the shot was Akabane and Bertrand's world's Ryunosuke Chiba.

"Thanks Karma. We just got word from Hawaii, the invasion force is ready with volunteers from Hawaii joining in." Chiba said after walking up to Akabane.

"Good to hear that. Let's let the West Coast Resistance know about the Invasion forces, then contact John to get an update." Akabane said before the two went back to their temporary base. They have been working with the West Coast Resistance since appearing in their world.

In the Resistance's base, Chiba placed his rifle against a wall as Akabane walked up to the Resistance Leader, a woman their age with brown hair and battle scars. Akabane saluted her and said, "Commander Jade, Akabane and Chiba reporting back from patrol."

"Ah Akabane, any trouble while on patrol?" Asked Commander Jade. she looked at him with caring eyes for the men under her command.

"Not much, ran into an Enemy Patrol near the Patrol Route." Replied Akabane.

"Ah I see, very good. These Bertrand Republic Dogs will regret messing with the West Coast Republic."

"I completely agree with you, Commander. Also Chiba and I got word from our allies. They liberated Hawaii and are on the way here."

"That's great! We just got word that the Canadian resistance is coming here to coordinate all over the western Seaboard."

"They'll be good allies to help us in this war." Akabane said to her. Commander Jade nodded in agreement when an alarm went off. They then heard a voice on the radio

"COMMAND! COMMAND THIS IS ALCATRAZ! THE BERTRAND REPUBLIC IS MOUNTING AN ATTACK! I REPEAT! THE BERTRAND REPUBLIC IS…" said the voice before being cut off.

Commander Jade paled and shouted, "CODE RED!" Akabane and Chiba ran out of the bunker they were in and saw from a distance the attack on Alcatraz.

"That can only mean one thing, Karma..." Chiba said to his other universe companion.

"Yeah… they know this place's location. Meaning we have a mole." Akabane said before ducking down as a shot flew over him and Chiba. The two looked back and saw a masked soldier in West Coast Resistance gear. Taking her mask off, she revealed who she was to them.

"Well shit, I'm not surprised… Reaper 25. The Grand Grim Reaper's Best infiltrator." Akabane said as he looked at the Evil version of Toka Yada. Reaper 25 smirked and said, "You two should have really seen this coming, my glorious leader. My glorious… and muscular… and dominative leader… OH! JUST THINKING ABOUT HIM MAKES ME SO WET!"

Chiba and Akabane sweatdropped as Reaper 25 rubbed her thighs together thinking about the man who twisted her and her friends' minds. Chiba then took a shot at her, only for Reaper 25 to quickly dodge and throw a knife at his head.

Akabane grabbed the knife, spun around and threw it back at Reaper 25, only for it to get shot away from her and into the ground. They knew that only one man would protect Reaper 25 and that was when a man with a sniper rifle dropped down from the side.

"Hello… me." Chiba said to the man. It was the Ryu Chiba of the Grand Grim Reaper's world, Reaper 15.

"Hello goodie two shoes me, can't have you killing my partner now can I?" Reaper 15 said as he walked over to Reaper 25. Akabane and Chiba scowled at them as Reaper 25 and Reaper 15 smirked and quickly ran off. Chiba wanted to go after them.

"No time, we need to help evacuate the personnel here to the secondary base." Akabane said to his companion.

"Grr. Got it." Chiba growled before the two ran back into the base to help evacuate the base.

Back in Hawaii, Nagisa drank some water when Bertrand and Karma walked up to him.

"Still mad you can't join the men in the front lines?" Karma asked his commander.

"Yeah. I'm not a pencil pusher. I should be in the thick of it. Leading my men by example." Nagisa said as he stood up.

"Well if you were in the front lines as you wish, enemy snipers could take a shot at you and kill you. Leaving Kayano and Rio without a lover. The men would lose morale at your death." Bertrand said as he crossed his arms.

"You are really good at making me regret my train of thought." Nagisa deadpanned.

"I'm just saying, think about what would happen if you were leading the men."

"I've been leading my men for a while now! And this kind of stuff happens in wars!"

"And how many Generals have been killed by enemy snipers as they were leading their men while in the thick of battle?" Bertrand asked while raising an eyebrow, making Nagisa sigh.

"Look, it's my job to be leading these men. I was entrusted with the duty, especially after the death of our previous general. Which… I… might've been involved with. But anyways! I can't just be sitting on the sidelines after doing so much to get to this rank in the first place!"

"Sighs, I can make a call if you want. Try to convince your government to let you back on the front lines." Bertrand said through his mask.

"Wait, weren't you just helping us out?"

"Also what did you mean by you may have been involved with? Who was the last General?"

"Eh… just a massive douchebag. We ended up in a death match against him, and Nagisa ended up winning it."

"What do you mean 'we'? It was just me."

"Well for starters, I am helping you out. But maybe I can convince your government to let you back on the front lines. Also, Asanos can be massive douchebags." Bertrand said to the two.

'So that's universal?' Nagisa and Karma thought.

"Wait, how did you know what we were talking about?" Karma realized.

"Asanos being massive douchebags are universal." Bertrand said as he walked off to make a call.

"Is it me or is that John kinda cool?" Karma asked his commanding officer.

"Toot the horn and it'll echo."

"Eh?"

"Never mind." Nagisa said as he walked off, with Karma following him.

Meanwhile, Bertrand was on the phone with the FJR's President and was able to get Nagisa back on the front lines.

"Thank you Mr. President, I assure you that I will make sure the general sticks close to me and will not get sniped by the enemy." Bertrand said to the president.

"Please do, he may have earned that title by leading his men, but that hot head of his might get himself killed." The President said to Bertrand.

"Got it." Bertrand hung up and looked back to see Nagisa and Karma gone.

At the Command Tent, Bertrand walked in and saw the General and karma.

"There you two are."

"Hey, what did the president say?" Nagisa asked.

"You can go back on the front lines."

"Seriously?! I CAN?!"

"But I have to make sure you stay by me at all times." Bertrand added on. Nagisa groaned at that added part.

"Oh come on!" Said Nagisa.

"It was the only condition he gave me!" Bertrand said to the general. Nagisa sighed in defeat.

"Boss, we just got word from the West Coast Resistance, they got attacked by the Bertrand Republic. Reapers 15 and 25 infiltrated them and gave away their location." Isogai said to Bertrand after he walked in.

"Are Ryu and Karma ok?" Bertrand asked Isogai.

"They're fine, the resistance took a hard hit though. But we did tell them that we'll be moving soon."

"Good… Good… we'll need their help in the coming battle for the United States." Bertrand said to his friend and the commanding officers of the Japanese Allied army.

"Ok, do we have contact with any other resistance groups?" Nagisa asked.

"Not yet, but my Chiba said that the West Coast Resistance made contact with Canadian resistance cells though."

"That's good to know." Nagisa said with a smile

Soon it came time to strike the Mainland US. The Japanese Alliance forces along with the ships that chose to flee to Japan. Bertrand stood on the deck of a Destroyer as he sighed and was joined by Sugino.

"Everything is running smoothly John. Soon we'll liberate North America." Sugino said to his friend.

Bertrand nodded his head but was silent. He knew things were going to get more tense on the mainland.

Meanwhile, Reaper 01 kept President Bertrand under control. He made sure that the Grand Grim Reaper's goals were followed.

"Just follow what I say Mr. President and you'll be just fine." Reaper 01 said while grabbing his shoulder and giving it a reassuring squeeze that nearly made him fall to his knees.

"Like I have any other choice? I don't know how you are able to traverse the multiverse. But the Bertrand Republic will be free and stop you." President Bertrand said in anger, getting a harder squeeze on his shoulder.

"That will be a bit hard, your Republic has become one of the most hated governments in the New World Order. No one will ever believe you when you tell the truth." Reaper 01 said with venom in his voice.

Back with the Allied Fleet, Bertrand and Nagisa were talking Strategy when alarms blared as Bertrand Republic fighter Jets came in to attack them. The fleet Scrambled to take them down with their guns as several allied fighter jets launched to intercept them.

"I'm going to assist." Bertrand said before launching into the air. Nagisa was still not over the fact that Bertrand had Antimatter in his system and he could fight like Korosensei, who he missed dearly.

'Seeing this other world John fly around like Korosensei, using his tentacles for good… Makes me wish I could see him one last time. Him and Miss Yukimura.' Nagisa thought in his head before an explosion brought him out of his thoughts as he saw one Frigate get hit by an anti-ship missile. He panicked, as Hiroto, Yuma, Yukiko, and Kotaro were on board that ship. He ran to the back as he saw Bertrand dive into the water and the ship suddenly began to lift up when it was sinking before.

The Enemy fighter jets were turned back and the battle was over. Damage to the fleet was minimal as Bertrand held the stricken ship up while Isogai and Maehara pushed the metal back into place and took metal sheets while they wielded the metal sheets back to make sure no water got back in.

"There, that should do it." Isogai said after finishing wielding. Nagisa asked where his Yuma and Hiroto were and Meahara said, "Infirmary, Hiroto took a chunk of metal into his shoulder."

In the infirmary, Hiroto groaned as Bertrand's Yukiko Kanzaki and Kotaro Takebayashi operated to get the metal out of his shoulder. Yuma watched with a look of horror on his face as Nagisa ran in and Yuma stopped him.

"They're working on getting the metal out of him.. It was horrible." Yuma said to his general. Nagisa looked on as Hiroto's face showed pain, and he couldn't do anything to help his friend.

Hours went by as Yuma and Nagisa waited with Hinata as she demanded to wait with them when Kanzaki came out. Her operating clothes covered in blood.

"Is he…" asked Hinata as she began to tear up. Kanzaki took her mask off, sighed, and then smiled.

"He pulled through, he's going to be in bed for a while and will need physical therapy for a while." Kanzaki said, which made Hinata fall to her knees in relief. Nagisa placed a hand on her shoulder and asked if they could see him.

When Hiroto woke up, he saw his friends around the bed and his shoulder wrapped.

"So I guess I pulled through." Hiroto said before Hinata hugged him on the side that wasn't wrapped up.

"Thanks to the other universes Yukiko and Kotaro, yeah." Nagisa told Hiroto, who made a confused look.

"What about our Yukiko and Kotaro?" Hiroto asked.

"Well…" Yuma said as he remembered when they saw him.

"HIROTO!" Yuma shouted when Hiroto fell down and a large piece of metal from when the missile struck the ship was lodged into his shoulder. Yuma dragged him to the infirmary as Bertrand lifted the ship.

"OH GOD!" Yukiko shouted when she and Kotaro saw Hiroto being dragged in by Yuma. Kotaro never saw that much blood and fainted. Yukiko was shaking as she couldn't either.

"We'll handle it you guys." Isogai said as he called for his Yukiko and Kotaro.

"Oh dear god." Kanzaki said as she saw the damage.

"Let's get to work fast, we may still be able to save him." Takebayashi said as he got ready with Kanzaki.

Back in the present time, Bertrand made sure the ship didn't sink after the repairs as they soon saw land. The invasion of Mainland North America was soon.

Up in Alaska, the border with their new neighbor, The Bertrand Republic, was well fortified. In the Alaskan City of Wales, some civilians were having fun when they saw ships heading their way. The flag on them? The New Russian Empire.
