"Another one of us?" Gojira questioned in disbelief as he tested the words for himself. Him, Godzilla, Junior, the other one in space somewhere, and now a small, subspecies version. What could possibly be next, he had no idea.

"Uh-huh, they just said that," Mecha deadpanned only to receive a light tail smack to the face, "ah, jeez!"

"It's not like it's official, just a small version of us," Godzilla told him bitterly, "An annoying pretender to the throne though."

"Given what you said, this may be your natural rival," Orga explained. She was about to elaborate some more until a crack of thunder interrupted them.

Everyone turned to an irate Queen Ghidorah who snarled, "Grifgore!" towards Orga, making the scientific Kaiju Girl back away.

"That's rather harsh," muttered Megalon as she tapped her drill on her chin.

A perplexed Anguirus asked, "Grifgore?"

"Intense curse word in Ghidorah's native language," Gigan shrugged and continued on with, "gold and bitchy is probably upset at the thought of a rival to her rivalry."

"That's Queen to you, peasant," Queen Ghidorah hissed at the cyborg before quickly regarding everyone else with, "And she speaks nonsense, I have no rivals!"

Godzilla nodded, "We agree for once. That would imply you're someone's equal."

"Ha!" Laughed Junior while Gojira grew a toothy grin. Queen Ghidorah merely hissed and rattled her tails.

Mothra went on to cheerfully say, "I think we should reach out to this new Godzilla."

"And I think no, not at all," Godzilla immediately said as she folded her arms and glared, "The only thing that's reaching out to her will be my hands, and I'm aiming for the neck."

"Godzilla, no."

"Godzilla, yes."

"I kind of want to meet her," Godzilla and Mothra immediately turned to Junior. The former with a hurt expression and latter with a thankful smile, "I mean, why not? We kept him, didn't we?" she pointed at Gojira who rolled his eyes, "plus, that means more challenges for me!"

"Junior… why?" Muttered Godzilla.

Mothra chuckled and looked at Gojira, asking, "Gojira, you have a say in this."

""He does?"" Immediately asked Godzilla and Mecha before Godzilla gave her metal counterpart a confused look, "Why the hell are you even saying anything?"

"What? I would naturally have more say then him," Mecha said proudly as she jabbed a thumb at her chest, "My social skills have a fourteen percent higher rating than him."

"No," Junior did little to hold back her laughter. Mecha glared at her and flipped her off before Orga slapped the metal hand down, not wanting anything to start that could end up with both of them harmed.

Gojira was thinking for a moment. At first when Godzilla began speaking of this, he found the thought abhorrent, then merely unimportant as Godzilla explained what had happened, then, as they continued to discuss the matter further, he realized he was curious, "I think… I need to take a look for myself,"

Godzilla wouldn't even let him glance at the ocean before she stood in front of it with her arms held out, "Oh hell, no you're not leaving the island," she told him, "If you're that damn curious, just wait, trouble probably follows you."

"Don't say that so lightly," Gojira told her dryly with an added eyeroll which she returned.

"What's the likelihood of her arriving here, especially with all of us?" Megalon asked which led to everyone giving her a deadpan stare which made her recoil.

"Uuurgh," Groaned Cretaceous Rex. She looked like she was about to wake up until Gigan kicked her head back down with a smug grin.

She looked up and immediately wiped the grin off her face as she noticed the stares, saying, "What, you saw her coming too and she was looking right at me. Self defense."

"So… business as usual or shall you hunt yet another one of your primitive kind?" Queen Ghidorah was genuinely curious herself to see this new form of Godzilla. They've been rather interesting to say the least, so why not? Just as long as that new one knew her place.

"What do you think?" Godzilla asked sarcastically as she walked off into the bushes, flipping Queen Ghidorah off as she did so. Junior walked off with her, mirroring her actions with an added bonus of her looking back and growling at Queen Ghidorah, notably mimicking Gojira.

Like a puppy trying to copy the face of a rabid rottweiler. The rather… scary connotations were there too.

Still, Queen Ghidorah merely scoffed while a few others giggled. Gojira, on the other hand, had a blank look on his face as he heard voices in his head, several sets of voices saying, "She wants to be like you too…"

Gojira blinked and began taking a stroll across the beach, looking out in the direction he felt them fight, their radiation pulsing.

"Doctor Serizawa should be here soon," Craven muttered and quickly wheeled around in his chair, "Is everything ready, everything needs to be ready!"

"Jeez, cool it down will you," Randy told as he leaned on the wall, "he won't be here for too long anyway and considering what he's been around, I doubt few misplaced wires will offend him."

"This will be my first time meeting him and I will appreciate it if you consider how much this will mean to me," Craven sternly told his younger colleague, "how could you not be as excited as me?"

Randy stroked his chin, "This is your first time?"

Outside, Nick was hanging around the helicopter pad, watching both the ocean and the skies for two very important things. Elsie walked beside him and asked, "You can relax helicopter dad, she won't leave without your say so."

"Then what do you call what happened back in the Bahamas?" he retorted. He knew she wouldn't go too far, but that was under more calm circumstances, and things weren't exactly calm. At least not with the rise in cases and the encounter with Godzilla being all over the place. He was lucky the GDF wasn't in such a huge shape to handle things more personally.

Elsie, for all her snark and smarmy attitude, could be more than understanding at times and decided to offer some comfort, "Nick, I get it. You're worried, you have a bigger mouthful than Zilla right now and, and that's not even counting all the other crap piling on top of that crap. But don't let the freakin' stress be the thing that does you in. Zilla is gonna be fine and you know how Serizawa is."

"Thanks," was all Nick muttered. It felt better to hear, but they were only words. He needed to see that progress and hopefully Serizawa would have something good to tell him.

A few minutes later, they heard the sound of helicopter rotors overhead. Not as loud as the average helicopter that passed around the area, but it probably wouldn't be too noticeable if it was anyway given they were in New York. It came down, Nick and Elsie being the first pair to greet them with Randy, Monique, and a very excited Dr. Craven following.

Once the rotors stopped and the sliding doors opened, Serizawa came out in his usual suit and some files in his hand. He spotted Nick first and nodded with a smile on his face.

"Dr. Serizawa, it's good to finally see in person after all this time," Nick told him as they shook hands. It's been mostly video calls far and few in between now and the Gojira attack. Both men have been looking forward to this.

"Likewise, Dr. Tatopoulos," Serizawa told him, "I'm eager to hear of Zilla's progress and talk about your introduction idea.

As they finished shaking, Nick noticed someone else stepping out of the helicopter. Well, it appeared to be someone else, but in actuality, it was a something. Nick gave it his full attention because it was a robot that stepped from the helicopter, a dark yellow robotic humanoid with brown accents and a face with a single visor. On the chassis is the acronym "N. I. G. E. L.".

The others, including Serizawa noticed Nick's focus Shift, Serizawa's smile growing a little wider and Nick's team getting just as surprised as him as they looked at the robot. Serizawa went on to say, "I see you noticed one of the GDF's latest work."

"Greetings, how may I be of service?" Nigel asked them in a nasally male voice as it stepped forward. It was taller than everyone in the group, lean, and clearly well built for physical tasks, and given the GDF's track record, probably more than meets the eye.

"Okay, that's friggin' cool," muttered Randy, getting a nod of agreement from Elsie and Craven.

"Feel free to get acquainted with Nigel if you want to. I need to speak with Dr. Tatopoulos and Monique however," Serizawa explained as his face became more stern. Monique and Nick nodded, leading him to the main office while the others began to check on the GDF robot.

"So is he just a service robot or something like that?" Craven asked as he cautiously check out the few visible parts of his interior design, synthetic muscle and robotic nervous system here and there.

"I'm a task droid," Nigel clarified, startling the group, mainly Craven, "Would you like my assistance?"

"Satisfied?" Randy asked Craven with a dry look. Nigel also seemed curious to know, funnily enough.

Inside the main building, Nick and Serizawa were sitting down while Monique chose to stand by, leaning on a wall with her arms crossed.

"This is rather troubling," Serizawa began, "I had hoped their introduction would be at a more appropriate time, but I should've known Mothra and Godzilla would return once the dust had settled and another Kaiju had come to rise."

"Which is why I think we should scrap the introduction idea. Zilla is too reckless and the other Kaiju are too dangerous, especially the male one. There's a few predictions I have for how he will react and I find none of them good," Monique told him, coming over to pull up images of the attack, "last thing we need to do is poke the hornet's nest again."

"I think we should go forward… while I don't like the idea of Zilla fighting them as a start, I think it's best to work our way through the kinks of this," Monique glared at nick while Serizawa gave him an intrigued look, promoting him to go on, "The Kaiju Girls have always been introduced through combat, some worse than others," he muttered that last part in reference to the aliens, "Zilla's only difference is a potential rivalry with Godzilla-"

"Which could mean a rivalry with the male." Monique chimed in. Serizawa cleared his throat, a light way of chastising her for interrupting. Given her respect for higher ups and Serizawa, she held back further comments.

"But, Godzilla has been known to differ to Mothra on few occasions ever since the late 70's," Nick pulled out some pictures of the two, one being Mothra barely visible in the clouds and parts of Godzilla's dorsal plates exposed from the ocean, and other of Mothra outright leading Godzilla out of a city by her hand, "And not to mention Godzilla's friendships with some of the more docile Kaiju like Queen Caesar."

"You want to form a scenario for a group meeting with the more peaceful of the Kaiju Girls don't you?" Serizawa asked, figuring where Nick was going with this. A gamble. Monique's professional attitude kept her from scoffing in Dr. Serizawa's presence. Serizawa fi sighed with, "And you want the aid of me and my team?"

"We can't just keep Zilla here forever, she's getting bigger, her aging has drastically slowed to the point where she would outlive generations of the longest living Tortoises, and she has a mind of her own. She's getting more and more curious, and despite her conflict with Godzilla, she's only become more eager since the Bahamas. And looking at this from a scientific standpoint, isolating her is a horrible idea. Despite the danger, it's worth a try," Nick told him as he began pulling up files on Zilla's physiology and some of the brain readings they managed to get.

Dr. Serizawa took his time reading them, all while Monique and Nick shared glances with each other, both silently sharing contempt like they were mentally trading insults.

They were definitely insulting each other silently, that much can be said. But before their mental name calling could go any further, Dr. Serizawa let out an exhale that drew their attention, "I think I have all I need to come to a decision, Dr. Tatopoulos…"

Anguirus lightly nudged Gojira's leg, earning a low growl from him, "You've been lying around this particular side of the beach for hours now… are you going to move at least an inch, mudak?"

"I move when I want to," Gojira rumbled at her, choosing to be as still as a statue as he watched the ocean, "you don't feel what I feel."

Anguirus folded her arms and her eyes went a little more narrow, "Could some immense clarification on that."

"I can feel the other one in a sense. Slightly, like spotting a tiny ember in the vastness of a forest," He told her, paying enough attention to give her an answer as he focuses on that "ember".

"Oh. Poetic sorta," Anguirus muttered as she rubbed the back of her head. She then took a seat next to him and just looked out towards the ocean. She sat there in silence with him until she broke the silence asking, "think that one will find a way here?"

"We both know she will. If she truly is as Godzilla says, she will come. Kaiju are drawn to each other, especially those of the same kind," Gojira told her.

As if on divine cue, Godzilla came walking forward towards them. The first thing she said upon noticing how relaxed Gojira and Anguirus was, "Well, look at that. Short stack wormed her way into another radioactive heart. Impressive."

"Hehehe," Gojira chuckled. He remembered how his Anguirus tried to do the same to him like he did with the others. It was a somber memory, 'Another "what could've been," perhaps,' he told himself.

Godzilla rolled her eyes at his small laughter, "And here you are, no longer the snarling stone face we all thought. You could always show more of that though," she sat beside them.

"Honestly, be grateful he shows any at all," Anguirus told as she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Get bent, both of you," Gojira lightly growled at them. That made Anguirus and Godzilla chuckle.

"So, you two are just watching the sunset?" Godzilla asked them.

"Mudak says he can feel Zilla," Anguirus informed her.

Godzilla looked at him and Gojira had to resist the urge to glare at Anguirus for sharing that without his say so, especially with Godzilla. But it was mostly fine. He sucked it up and went on to say, "Yes… I can barely sense her though, at least from this distance. I've been feeling it for a while now."

"You gonna try to treat her as nicely as you treated me and Junior?" Godzilla asked half jokingly, a way to gauge Gojira on the question.

"Would you get jealous?" Gojira lightly shot back. Anguirus couldn't help but giggle and Godzilla elbowed her ribs, which only made her laugh a little harder.

Godzilla, with a blushing face, growled, "Hell no. The shrimp kaiju probably needs some coddling. I need to give her and you an ass whooping so bad your scales fall off."

"I swear, you and Junior are actually related," Anguirus chuckled.

Gojira was starting to smile and Godzilla flipped her friend off. They sat in silence for a few minutes again until Godzilla let out a deep sigh and told Anguirus, "Hey, do me a favor. Leave. I need to speak with Gojira. Alone."

Neither one of them expected that from her. Anguirus looked between her and Gojira before nodding and leaving without a word. Godzilla knew it was serious, incredibly serious, so the last thing she would do is get in the way, even if she wanted to talk herself. And enjoying that little moment.

Once the ankylosaur's footsteps were no longer audible, Godzilla asked Gojira, "Where did you come from?"

Gojira said nothing, just kept his eyes to the ocean. Godzilla chuckled, though there was bitterness in it, "Of course you wouldn't… you remind me so much of mother."

Gojira showed no visible reaction. Godzilla started looking to the ocean to, "You mumbled when you were comatose ya know… you said some things. Talked about someone named Minilla. Wanna tell me who that is?"

Gojira had to do his best not to react to that one, but his slight shift was enough for Godzilla to tell she had gotten somewhere. She glared at him and said, "So, there's definitely something there. And even after everything, you still refuse to speak on it. Why? Is it a lack of trust? You still don't like us or something?" Her volume was getting louder, her tone heated, "What is it? Why won't you tell us anything? Just a smidge of what you really are? Where you came from?"

Gojira muttered something at a volume lower than what he intended, "What was that?" Godzilla asked him, "Mind putting the volume at Kaiju levels?" she snarked.

"You wouldn't understand," Gojira finally growled at her, now glaring into her eyes, "I keep my past to myself because I don't think you would understand. Perhaps even believe," He said as he stood up, "You think it's distrust? Dislike? We both know you're not foolish enough to think that, you've seen that. Why do you truly need to know?"

"Because I do," she growled back as she rose to her feet, "Because I've felt strange ever since you arrived. Because I'm tired of a Kaiju I've come to respect lacking the tits to say what's truly on his mind. I noticed the way you gravitate towards me and my daughter. The recognition on your face at the select few," Godzilla's fists clenched, "And I want to know why. Why I feel this way and why you do what you do. Why you, of all Kaiju, got so enraged at seeing my mother desecrated."

Gojira stared at her for a solid minute and she stared right back, neither turning away, showing weakness until finally, "So you really want to know where I came from? Fine, I'll be generous and give you that one…"

Outside, Zilla was owlishly watching the building with her dad and the others, wondering just what was going on. They had been talking for nearly an hour now and she was growing bored, more so than usual. She hated when she had to be left out of their human talk. Made her lonely, made her feel shunned, made her a tad angry. She wasn't angry with her dad though, she figured she had to do it because of those stuck up GDF types she was told about.

She let out a deep sigh and curled up, wondering if she would finally get the chance to head to that Kaiju island they talked about time and time again. She wanted to meet those other Kaiju, test herself, and finally beat those other queens. Maybe even take out that "lone wolf" male. But her father warned her about getting her hopes too high.

"Just hope for the best," Zilla muttered, repeating the words from her dad, "just hope for the best."

A strong light briefly shined in her direction, flashing twice before turning off. That was her signal to come over and she wasted no time swimming over.

Slowly, she rose from the ocean, both excited and hesitant to hear the news her father had for her. As she rose, she noticed two new figures, a robot and an elderly man. She figured it was Serizawa, though she chose to remain cautious, especially with that robot around.

Serizawa immediately smiled upon her arrival and said, "Well, you weren't kidding when you said she grew."

Nick nodded, coolly saying, "She eats a lot of fish."

Zilla rumbled and lowered her head to talk, asking, "Dad, what's up?"

"Good news, kiddo. We're going to Neo Monster Island," Nick smiled warmly upon Zilla's immediately look of pure jubilation. She almost started jumping up and down like she used to when she was smaller.

"Hell yes!" Zilla cheered before she put her hands over her mouth. She chuckled a bit sheepishly before muttering a quick, "Sorry, dad."

"Hehe, it's fine, Zilla. You get a pass," Nick told as her casually waved it off. He nodded to Serizawa and said, "The good doctor her just wanted to see you in the flash after all this time."

"Oh he did?" Then Zilla began smirking and started flexing, "Well of course he did, I am pretty spectacular, eh?"

"I would agree," Chuckled Serizawa, already seeing so much of Godzilla and Junior in her. It was also no wonder they fought, 'As humbled as Godzilla is nowadays, she has her limits. Doesn't help that she's so much like her,' he thought to himself as Zilla continued to show off.

"Doctor, we're running behind schedule," Nigel told him.

"Ah, thank you. But, I suppose the more appropriate term would be "You're running behind schedule," Serizawa told him as he walked to the starting helicopter, "Not we."

Nigel squirmed his head to the side and said, "Doctor?"

"I've done the work and you're officially a part of HEAT now," Serizawa informed him as he began stepping into the vehicle.

"We get a pet robot," Randy seemed a little excited at that.

"No," Serizawa shook his head, "You get an android assistant. Please treat him as another beneficial colleague," he said a little sternly before turning to Nick and Nigel, "we'll see each other again Rocko."

"Looking forward to it," Nick told him with a nod and Nigel nodded as well. Everyone close to the helicopter backed away as it began to take off, Zilla waving goodbye as it disappeared.

Craven immediately turned to Randy and said, "I'm watching you. Nigel will stick with me."

"Okay," Randy told him with a shrug.

Godzilla stared at Gojira with a gobsmacked expression and slowly blinked before saying, "Another dimension, a different Earth… how is that even possible?"

Gojira shrugged his crossed arms, "There are aliens, aren't there?"

"Yeah, but space is fucking proven, it's literally right there," Godzilla pointed to the sky before shaking her head, "No, that doesn't make any sense. Is that a power of yours?"

"Not mine," Gojira muttered, still wondering what exactly brought him to the part he left out. So far, he only told her he was from another dimension, that's it. He had yet to omit any further details, despite the insistence from Godzilla.

Godzilla groaned and rubbed her temples to soothe an oncoming headache, "Now I have more questions. And I know it's going to be a bitch and a half to try to pry the answers out of you. We still haven't even gotten to that Minilla part yet."

"Then stop looking," Gojira suggested, "some questions are better left unanswered."

Godzilla scoffed, "No. I don't back down from a challenge," she jabbed a finger at him, "you have way more to tell me."

"If I feel like it," he growled at her, getting incredibly irritated, "the point is, I don't belong here. This isn't my universe, my home."

Godzilla clicked her tongue, "Debatable. I say you fit right in despite the many differences and attitude problems."

Gojira snorted, glancing off to the side with a dry expression, not entirely sure how to respond to that himself. Godzilla went on, "I'm serious, you know. You fit in more than you should. We all think so. Even the likes of Kaiju like Gigan probably think so," Godzilla figured this was all she would get for now and walked away, finishing with, " We Will talk more later about this. And train too. We might even finally intertwine them too."

"That'll be the day," Gojira mumbled before turning back to the ocean. He didn't realize it, but a slight weight was taken off his chest. Piece by piece, he was starting to take it off.

From a farther distance, Mothra approached Godzilla and asked, "So, how did it go?"

"Honestly," Godzilla's frown slowly turned upside down, "better than I expected it would go."
