Scootaloo's Feelings
Both Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom had heard what had happened to Scootaloo. "He said what to you?!" Apple Bloom said, shocked. "He told me that I can't fly and he said some other things about me," Scootaloo explained, "He called me a clumsy filly who- oh, you know."
"I'm sorry that happened," Sweetie Belle said in a comforting tone of voice, "We'd-." "Oh, man," Apple Bloom said, "If we'd known any better, we'd-" "We're sorry that happened," Sweetie Belle said.
"It's okay," Scootaloo said, "It was my fault for not paying any attention in the first place." "But still," Sweetie Belle said, "That's no reason for him to burst out like that and to walk away like that?!"
"That's true," Twist, who was with the Cutie Mark Crusaders at the moment, agreed.
"Big sis warned us about that Smarty Nerd character," Apple Bloom explained, "I've heard that he is always right and above others. And he's had a beyond snobbish personality."
"Seriously?!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "Don't let that jerk get you down," Apple Bloom told Scootaloo, trying to cheer her friend up. "You are a great filly and a great friend," Twist said, "All of you." Scootaloo still didn't reply.
"Maybe we'll let her have her moment," Twist suggested. "Right," Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle said together. "I'm sorry," Scootaloo said at last. The three fillies looked at Scootaloo.
"I wasn't thinking," Scootaloo said, "Today, a lot had been on my mind and I was trying to think of an answer. And I thought about it when I was on my scooter. And I was thinking about it so much that I nearly had my accident."
"Oh," Sweetie Belle said, "You were thinking too much. That why you didn't reply today. In fact, neither of us did." "Yeah," Scootaloo said, "I was thinking too much. And not saying enough and not paying attention."
"We were, too," Apple Bloom agreed.
After that, there was a moment of silence.
