A Day Later on Hokage Rock…
Itachi waited for Kakashi to arrive for a private chat.
It wouldn't be a surprise for the one-eyed ninja to meet with the current head of the Uchiha Clan, especially when it comes to his wife and brother. Itachi will make certain of their wellbeing and Kakashi's responsibilities to both of them. He expected to care, results, and precise training to make both Naru and Sasuke can reach their full potential. It doesn't help that he will always be watched too by Itachi's many crows and birds. Gifted, intelligent, and scary, just Kakashi's luck to be the one who he has to train the two people that Itachi loved.
"I checked out all three of their places to know what I'm dealing with. Your brother is as orderly as you and seems to be an overachiever in Justus. Naru on the other hand is messy, carelessly when it comes to expired food and she doesn't seem to have the money to buy new scrolls."
"What? Why did she never tell me of this? I could provide for her what she desires. I am her future fiancé." Itachi questioned as he didn't want his beloved wife to be struggling.
"I don't think she completely understands the concept of marriage or on relying on others. She has been alone for so long, she had to learn self-reliance to survive, sadly." Kakashi answered, "I will have to work on that personally."
"See if you can help her open up to other people and perhaps even have Sasuke and her become closer as a family." Itachi requested from the man.
"You really think it's possible to get those to be friends?" The one-eyed man hummed as he was reading a naughty book.
"A brother can dream, and it would make many things easier when we are wed and the two are a lot less combative," Itachi explained as they both looked to the sun.
"Right, I'll see what I can do with them." Kakashi sighed then began to feel the killer intent of the Eldest member of the depleting Uchiha Clan.
"And Kakashi, be certain you take good care of them, I want to see both of them flourish and be the best that they can be. If they are do not be fully bloomed into the Shinobi they are destined to be because you refuse to properly teach you, you will answer to me." Itachi warned as the albino shinobi felt like he could be killed.
It was hard to believe that he once served under Kakashi and now was more powerful than him. But Itachi was always the prodigy and the most dedicated, usually most pacified man in the entire village unless someone is harassing Naru and his brother. Though he was happy how far the two of them managed to get and finally be recognized as shinobi, but that did not mean that Itachi wasn't the type to worry about the people he loved so much.
"I'll keep that in mind."
Outside…
Team 7 was gathered at the training grounds after their sensei was ridiculously late and allowed a chalkboard eraser plopped on his head by the trickster Naru, or better known as Naruto.
They were an interesting group to say for sure.
"Alright, before we can begin, let's talk about ourselves, our name, our likes, and dislikes, hobbies and goals or dreams." Kakashi offered as he started the introduction part of the team-building exercise, "My name is Hatake Kakashi. My likes are on a need to know, my dislikes are on a need to know, hobbies on a need to know and I really don't have any goals and dreams. Pinky you're first."
"Okay, ummm…" Sakura began, "W-well my name is Haruno Sakura, and I like… and my dream is…."
'Great another fangirl.' Kakashi thought with a sigh as he was going to have a hard enough time with Itachi's bride and brother.
"And what do you dislike?"
"That Ino pig and Naru's outfit!" She answered as it caught Naru by surprise.
"What? What's wrong with my outfit, it's comfy?" She whined and Sakura rolled her eyes at the other girl on her team, feeling like it was her duty.
"It makes you look like a boy. Naruto, you're getting hitch and to a handsome man like Itachi, one of the most famous Shinobi alive." She reminded the girl, "You gotta change out of it in something more… alluring."
"Itachi likes it and I like it too." Naru huffed.
'Because in a woman's attire, you would have to beat the boys with a stick and Itachi would start off a graveyard.'
"Naru, you have duties as a wife as Itachi has duties as your husband. You need to treat him a little, showing him your flirty side. In fact, when we have the chance, I will personally take you shopping." Sakura declared.
"You girls can do it another time. Your turn, Duck Butt." Kakashi sighed as trying to turn a Tomboy into a girly girl is like trying to teach a cat how to do a trick.
"My name is Uchiha Sasuke, I have no interest, the only thing I like-I love is my brother, and I hate everything. MY purpose to find someone, kill them, and take back what is ours." Sasuke coldly answered.
"Okay… Future Mrs. Uchiha?" Kakashi muttered as Naru grinned.
"My name is Uzumaki Naru but call me Naruto! I like Raman, pranks, animals, plants, Itachi, Iruka, Old Man Hokage, Sakura, Hinata, Choji, Shikamaru, sunrises, and Itachi's cooking. I dislike jerks, creeps, perverts, weirdos, darkness, and people who hurt others. My hobbies are plants and drawing." Naru explained with much enthusiasm, "My goal, my dream is to become the Hokage with husbands that love me for me and people to respect me."
Sasuke scoffed as Sakura looked confused.
"Husbands?"
"I'll explain later," Kakashi answered as it was a complicated issue.
Afterward was the real test.
The next morning…
Through the eyes of a crow, Itachi saw the three fight against Kakashi as they used all of their strength.
To his displeasure, Naru was tied to the pole and not allowed to eat. But Itachi did not interfere, he would not as long as Kakashi remembers to cut her down. To his surprise and happiness, Sasuke, the brother who was displeased about the marriage offered his sister-in-law… some food.
Then Sasuke and Sakura were willing to defend her from Kakashi and passed as an official ninja. Itachi was proud of the work done until Kakashi wanted to leave her on the pole. That was when he put his foot down.
Kakashi bumped into Itachi, who had a displeased look on his face.
"Dear friend, you haven't forgotten my bride, have you?" He calmly yet terrifyingly questioned.
"…I'll go get her for you."
"You're Itachi, Sasuke's brother, and Naru's fiancé!" Sakura swooned.
"Please to meet a friend of both my bride and my brother. I assume you will be there at our wedding in a few years?"
"I want to be the maid of honor." Sakura offered.
"Hinata too. Looks like you'll have to fight her tooth and nail for that position, but there is still time."
Once Naru was freed, Itachi decided to have her rest on his shoulder as he took all three of them home with Kakashi.
