At the Testing Room…

Naru felt proud as she and her team entered the room.

She was on her way to becoming the next Hokage as she needed to do was pass this test and become a churnin. As they entered the room, she saw many familiar faces, including her buds back at the academy, Shikamaru and Chōji. She was always happy to see them and Hinata as well as everyone was chatting amongst themselves. Sakura was getting into it with Ino as Naru was soon spotted by the strange ninja from yesterday who seemed to be caught by Naru's charms.

"Dear sweet, Naru~! My heart blooms with joy in seeing your beauty and radiance again!" Lee swooned for the blond as Sasuke was getting agitated.

It would be a crime for Naruto and Lee to get together, imagining their children have both their annoying traits was too much to bear. It was bad enough she was marrying off his beloved brother but to lower her standards to court with that eyebrowed idiot. He'd prefer him just pursuing Sakura but now he's got his eyes set on that Dobe of a Blond. Before Sasuke could move, Kiba walked towards the girl the puppy happy to see the girl. Naruto was always good with animals, and they seemed to like her as well. Naruto had a reputation for bringing dangerous animals back home with her when she was young after all.

"Who's this, Blondie? You're boyfriend? Surprised anyone can tell that you're a girl." Kiba mocked as the puppy was licking her leg, causing the girl to pick him up.

"I'm still better looking than you, Dog Breath. Hi Akamaru, how are you today? Sorry, you're stuck with such a jerk like him." Naru scoffed and then played with the puppy who was barking with joy.

"Akamaru, you traitor."

"BARK! BARK!"

"No way, I would rather kiss a rat! Come on, let's get to the others!"

Kiba and Akamaru then left as Team Seven soon met Kabuto and his ninja info cards. Sasuke wanted to know more about Neji and Gaara. While Kabuto had plenty of information on Neji, anything on Gaara was blank. Gaara himself was staring at Naru with an odd look as if something was whispering in his ears.

She is perfect.

Have her be your mate.

Kill any that stand in your way of love, she is yours.

While Gaara was looking at the girl in a way most troubling, Naru was also hearing a voice in her head. It was growling as if there was something terrible in the room with her.

Beware, child.

There is something that wants you.

Naru shook her head as the instructor came in.
