Hunter-Monsters Explore the City
Jaune, Centorea, and the rest of team JNPR having breakfast at the table with team RWBY and Papi as they get ready for the morning classes and hope to do well.
"Hey, when did you say we are going to visit the city for the… for the…?" Papi tried to remember what it was the thing she was about to say.
"The super-secret investigation on the White Fang." Ruby said while eating her cereal.
"Oh yeah, that and I get to see the city too as a bonus!" Papi excited throwing her wings up in the air.
"Calm down, Papi, you're going to spill your food all over the table." Weiss scolded.
"And I want to thank you for allowing my team to join in on your investigation, Blake. I got a bad feeling that something worst could happen, and I didn't want to ignore you guys." Jaune mentioned.
"Don't mention it, I was going to reject you guys at first, but then your Centaur friend convinced me otherwise." Blake recalled.
"I just believe that one team may not be enough to help with your case on the White Fang, there is also the reason that they may try to recruit some Demihumans too." Centorea explained her reasons.
"Oh, that could be a problem." Yang commented.
"Then we better hurry up with class and start kicking some butts!" Nora declared raising a spoon in the air.
"Nora, we're going out to find answers, not fight." Ren reminded her.
"Although, if the situation class for it then we may as well ready ourselves for a fight." Pyrrha advised for any future fights.
"Do we need to bring pillows?" Papi asked thinking it would be a pillow fight.
"No, Papi, it will be a real fight with weapons, and it will be painful if you're not careful." Blake explained.
"Not to mention you will have to protect yourself with your Aura to avoid any fatal blows and not to overuse yourself or else you won't be able to recover well." Weiss added.
"Oh, I don't like fighting… but if any bad guys try to hurt my friends then Papi will do her best to kick their booty!" Papi determined throwing some punches.
"Nice to see you're motivated, but let's try to focus on class first." Jaune said as he gets up and put his now-empty plate to the sink.
"Why, hello there, Jaune." Cinder greeted walking towards him.
"Oh, morning Cinder, you're looking great today." Jaune complimented.
"Thank you, just came to by to see if you guys have left the dorm yet." Cinder looked at his and team RWBY still at one of the tables.
"We're just about ready, aren't you getting ready for class?" Jaune asked.
"No, we have class later than you, but I do hope we can find the time to study together." Cinder flirted, trailing her finger on Jaune's chest making him blush.
"Well, huh, I'll be sure to let you know when I'm free. Just don't tell Draco, I don't think she would approve other humans being near you." Jaune chuckled.
"No need to be afraid of her, she is just going through a lot since she was a child. Humans taking her parents away." Cinder said looking sad.
"I guess I can understand that it's hard to trust in people when they do bad unforgivable things to someone." Jaune said feeling sorry for Draco.
"Yeah, unforgivable things." Cinder muttered clutching her fist.
Jaune notices this and hold her fist getting her attention.
"You okay?" Jaune asked concern and Cinder suddenly feels like she has been caught in a trace from just looking into his eyes, but she quickly snap herself out of it.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine and it looks like your friends are about to leave without you." Cinder pointed at his friends are about to leave as Pyrrha and Centorea wave at him saying they are ready to go.
"Oh, I better get going then." Jaune realized walking away.
"Be seeing you, Jaune." Cinder waved farewell with one have and her other hand on her hip with a sexy wink.
Jaune saw this blushing like crazy and quickly exit the dorm with his friends while Pyrrha and Centorea look confuse with a slight jealous look on their faces too.
"Did you… actually flirted with that guy?" Mercury asked thinking it was weird.
Mercury is a pale, young man with gray eyes and gray hair, partially slicked back while unkempt at the front. He wears the Haven Academy uniform, which consists of a dark gray outfit with a long-sleeved collared top, black pants, and a white armband.
"So, what if I did, is not like I actually care for the Arc boy." Cinder rolled her eyes.
"I don't know, there may have been some actual feelings in that scene." Emerald stated.
Emerald is a young woman with medium-brown skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair is a light, mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back. She also wears the Haven Academy uniform. Breasts sizes: E-cup.
"You're not insisting that I'm falling for that weakling?" Cinder asked with a slight scary glare.
"No, no, of course not! It just that you were staring at him for a moment." Emerald shrugged sheepishly.
"Who cares, whether the flirting was real or not, we still have a mission to complete no matter what." Draco pointed out walking up to them.
"She's right, Jaune Arc along with his friends will soon realize that this world is much, much, crueler than they could ever imagine." Cinder said as she eyes glow fiercely.
(Later, After Class)
"Uh, my brain hurts…" Papi complained while resting on Ruby's bed.
"At least you survived, Papi. Now we can go the city together." Ruby cheered as she and her team are wearing new outfits.
Blake's is a white, v-neck, zip-up crop shirt with a black hem and three-quarter sleeves. Her emblem is printed in off-white on the left side of the shirt. She wears black pants that have a vertical gray stripe on the outer side of each leg and a black belt. Attached to the rear of the belt is a black piece of fabric that covers her from hip to hip. Underneath this is a longer, translucent, purple piece of fabric. She also wears black high-heel boots with two straps and buckles and purple underoles, reaching to mid-calf.
"I hope nothing goes wrong since we're doing this as a big group." Blake said.
"Don't worry, I'm sure everything will work out as long as we play our cards right." Ruby said confident.
Her outfit is a long-sleeve, light gray shirt with black belted cuffs near the ends of the sleeves. Over top of the gray shirt is a black pinafore with two vertical lines of red stitching that resemble the lacing on a corset. She wears a red skirt with a large black print of her emblem on the side and matching black tulle underneath. Her stockings and shoes remain the same as her original outfit, though the boots lack the red trim that decorated the top. A few pieces of metal arranged in the shape of a rose are attached to the shoulder of her left sleeve, and her cloak's hood has been wrapped around her neck in a scarf-like fashion, while the rest hangs down like normal.
"I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously." Weiss said sarcastically.
Weiss is wearing a white, double-breasted pea coat with black piping, cuffs, and buttons over a white, pleated full skirt with black lace trim. She also wears a pair of white, thigh-high boots with black heels and lace-topped black stockings.
"Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious." Yang shrugged.
Yang is now wearing a deep-collared cream vest worn over a low-cut black shirt; both are covered by a dark gray shrug with a raised collar, three-quarter sleeves adorned with a single black stripe down the outside of each sleeve, and gold cuffs. A black mini skirt is worn under the cream vest. A pair of crooked black belts with gold accents are slung around her hip, with a purple piece of fabric attached to the left-rear section of the lower belt. She wears thigh high stockings attached to her miniskirt by garter-belts on the front and back of each thigh, decorated with four golden studs above her knee and her emblem on the outside of each thigh in gold. She also wears black ankle boots with multiple buckles and white ribbons on the back tied in a bow. Around her neck is a purple pendant set in silver.
"Damn it, we didn't we change into our Alternate Outfits?" Nora angered that her team is the only one not wearing cool new combat clothes.
"Because we don't have one." Ren answered.
"I don't think it matters because we're still going to help our friends with this." Jaune believed.
"Jaune is right, we all must focus on the task at hand and find any leads of the White Fang's plan for the kingdom." Centorea added while wearing her silver armor with the helmet under her arm.
"Oh, come on! Even you!" Nora complained.
"Can it." Pyrrha sighed.
"Okay, everyone remembers their roles?" Ruby asked.
"We'll be split into three teams: one goes for the CCT in the city, the second infiltrate the White Fang rally, and the third go gather information at a nightclub." Jaune relied on the plan.
"The ones for the CCT are me, Ruby, Jaune, and Papi. We'll be and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem." Weiss bragged a bit.
"The White Fang rally are me, Centorea, and Ren. They have regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If we can get in, we can hopefully find out what they're planning." Blake mentioned as Ren stand next to her.
"And I'm sure they would be thrill to have one of the Demihumans attending there." Centorea said.
"Next up is me, Pyrrha, and Nora going for the nightclub I know an old friend who owns the place on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard..." Yang smirked.
"And if he doesn't give us what we want then we'll break his legs." Nora excited cracking her knuckles.
"Sometimes, you scare me." Pyrrha admitted.
"Master Jaune, promise me that you will be safe." Centorea said a little worry.
"Don't worry, I promise I'll be fine." Jaune smiled.
"Great! We'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we found. Let's do this!" Ruby pumped her fist in the air.
"Yeah!"
Everyone jumps a little upon hearing that sudden voice and turns around seeing Sun hanging upside-down from the open window.
"Sun!" Blake surprised.
"Good Lord! How long have thou been there!" Centorea gasped.
"And how did you get up there?" Yang asked.
"Ah, it's easy; I do it all the time." Sun smirked.
"You do what?" Weiss glared.
"He means trees, silly. He's a born fun monkey." Papi pointed out.
"Exactly." Sun nodded and swing himself inside and Polt comes in followed by Neptune.
"What are you guys doing here?" Pyrrha asked.
"We came help you guys get back that Torchwick guy and throw him behind bars." Sun answered.
"Wait a minute, I thought you guys said this was supposed to be a secret mission, so how in the world did they found out about it?" Nora asked.
"I swear I didn't told them anything." Ruby defended herself.
"I did." Papi raised her hand.
"WHAT?!" Both teams gasped.
"Polt asked me a question yesterday and I told her that we're all going out in the city to explore and fight some bad guys." Papi explained.
"And when I told Sun about it, he figured out that you guys are trying to stop the White Fang from doing something bad and we came here to help." Polt mentioned.
"Well, that's very thoughtful of you guys, but We are going to investigate the situation... as a team." Blake gestured between herself and the group.
"Yeah, sorry, we don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to." Ruby turned down their offer to help.
"That's dumb, we should always get friends involved! That's why I brought Neptune and Polt!" Sun believed.
"And he's not going to let you guys go until you agree to let us come. Which I already volunteered to go with Weiss's team." Neptune looked at Weiss with a smile as she smiles a little.
"Obviously, I'm going with Blake's team because I fought off the White Fangs too." Sun walked up to Blake.
"And I'm going with Yang's because Sun thinks you guy cold use the extra muscles just in case." Polt hopped toward Yang and she high-five with Nora.
"Guess we don't have a choice." Jaune shrugged.
"Okay, now our teams have increased. Let's go!" Ruby cheered.
(Vale City, CCT)
Jaune and Ruby's group are seen walking toward the tall and large CCT, along the way they have stopped at a sweetshop getting some cookies and a cupcake for everyone as Papi wanted to try some.
"Yummy!" Papi mumbled while eating a cookie and her eyes sparkles of stars.
"I know, chocolate chip cookies are my total favorite!" Ruby smiled.
"No talking with your mouth full!" Weiss scolded.
"And besides, we're here." Jaune gestured toward the tower.
"Oh wow, that tower is huge!" Papi excited as this is the first time, she is seeing it with her own two eyes.
"I forget how big the Transmit tower looks up close!" Ruby said exciting too.
"Makes me wonder how this was really made over time?" Jaune asked.
"You should see the one in Atlas." Weiss said.
"Oh yeah, the first CCT tower was made there." Neptune recalled reading about that in a book.
"Correct. Atlas developed the Cross Continental Transmit System to allow the four kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the world after the Great War." Weiss lectured a little about Atlas's history.
"Oooh, look at me! My name's Weiss! I know facts! I'm rich!" Ruby mimicked Weiss as high and mighty.
"Oh, smarty snow girl, please give me all of your knowledge." Papi acted playfully too.
This made Neptune laughs a little and Weiss feels embarrass that the boy she is crushing on think this is funny, she has to change the subject quickly before this gets out of hand.
"Don't be a pest, you two! Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much! We could have just as easily made a call from the library!" Weiss pointed out.
"I know, but it's so coool!" Ruby said.
"I kind of got the expression that you didn't want the other students to see what we were doing." Jaune exclaimed.
"I'm sure this will work out as long as we don't do something that could draw attention to us." Neptune advised.
"Wow, you're really good with juggling!" A little girl amazed of seeing Papi juggling some of the cookies with her talons and the mom is enjoying the little show too.
"What did Neptune just said!" Weiss shouted in anger.
"I think that girl has her head in the clouds WAY too much." Neptune exclaimed.
"If you think that's silly, you should have heard that Papi mistaken Beacon is famous for bacon." Jaune mentioned causing the two to laugh a little.
"Ooh, I'm going to take a picture!" Ruby suggested as she takes out of Scroll from her pocket.
"I want to be in it!" Papi excited getting in front of Ruby, but closer than she needs to be.
"Hold on, Papi, you're too close." Ruby said then her Scroll slips out of her hands bouncing around until it drops to the ground.
"Oh hey, could you… get that…" Ruby shocked as her eyes widen of seeing a familiar girl, she hasn't seen in over two weeks.
"You drop this." The girl said holding up the Scroll.
"Penny?" Ruby surprised.

In case you guys didn't notices, I'm now doing a double shift on Saturdays too hoping to make the updates on my stories a bit faster.
Everyone has gone to investigate on the White Fang and Roman on what they're up to while trying to be sneaky, though Ruby may get a little sidetrack upon meeting a certain hoping she would share a 'penny' for her thoughts.
