Champion Sparring and Angry Belladonna
It's another day in class and a great session in Glynda's combat class as Pyrrha is absolutely the field against all four of team CRDL, she extends and twirls her spear around at Russel and Dove knocking them away and shielded against Russel's rolling attack to knock him down hard with her spear and shield.
Cardin charges at Pyrrha angry hoping to finish her off.
"(Heh, predictable.)" Pyrrha thought chuckled.
Pyrrha attacked Cardin faster than he could react striking him with her spear then sending him flying into the air and jump after him, she hops onto her shield launching toward Cardin into a headlock with her spear falling down as a rolling ball and slamming him down on the ground and does a backflip kick.
Cardin is down as Pyrrha caught her shield and spear with her Semblance.
"And that's match." Glynda announced walking past the dizzy Cardin.
"Lucky shot…" Cardin groaned before he collapsed.
"Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." Glynda complimented.
"Thank you, Professor." Pyrrha smiled with a respectful bow.
"Yeah! That's our Pyrrha!" Jaune cheered as the others of his team are also showing the exciting and cheering expression on their faces, even Killa was enjoying being in class with them only because this one isn't boring like the rest.
"Hey, are Demihuman humans allow to fight like in this class?" Killa asked.
"Only if our host or the host's teammates are with us." Centorea answered.
"Oh, I hope I get to take part in the fight because it sure looks fun!" Killa smirked leaning a bit forward.
"I'm so there with you!" Nora excited with her fist in the air as Ren just chuckles at them.
"Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow, but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers?" Glynda asked.
"Papi wants to join the fun!" Papi raised her right wing-arm.
"Then I'm going too!" Ruby raised her hand.
"I'm not sure if we should trust you two to represent us." Weiss worried.
Glynda looks at some of the other students if they are interested until she sights drops onto Blake reading a book instead paying attention to her class.
"Ms. Belladonna?" Glynda called out causing Blake to slam her book shut and look straight at her teacher.
"Oh, I think someone is in trouble." Papi giggled.
"Papi, it's not a good idea to make fun of people like that." Ruby scolded a bit.
"You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you"
"I'll do it!" Mercury raised his hand.
"Oh, someone beat us to it!" Papi exclaimed.
"But you guys raised your hands first." Yang pointed out.
"Mercury, is it? Very well, perhaps you wouldn't mind fighting Ruby and Papi." Glynda gestured to the two red and black girls.
"Well, they do get me curious of how they fight well." Mercury grinned at them.
"Oh no, he's curious? That means he's going to die!" Papi shouted crying in fear of the potential new friend, this confuses Mercury and some of the other students around them.
"No Papi, he's not going to die. That's just a saying that you need to be careful, and the saying is most likely for the cats." Ruby explained.
"Cats? Wait, does that mean Blake is dying!" Papi gasped.
"No, I'm not dying!" Blake glared at the Harpy girl angry.
"Well, you kind of look like you are." Yang pointed out, also getting a glare from her teammate.
"Okay, as I was about to say that I actually wanna fight… her." Mercury pointed at Pyrrha surprising the red hair champion.
"I'm afraid Miss Nikos has just finished the match. I recommend you choose another partner." Glynda suggested.
"No, it's fine! I'd be happy to oblige." Pyrrha decided to have one last sparring match with someone.
"In that case, I too shall participate in fighting this young man here." Centorea volunteered.
"Oh, that's right. We haven't done much practice with each other as a duo in a fight, I guess now would be a good time to do it." Pyrrha realized before turning to Glynda.
"Would that be alright with you, Professor Goodwitch?" Pyrrha asked.
"I suppose it would be fine if the challenger is okay with it." Glynda looked over to Mercury.
"Fine by me, this could also give me some ideas of what to be expected when fighting some Demihumans." Mercury shrugged, feeling confident that he can take them both on.
"Then challenge accepted!" Centorea excited.
A few minutes later, Mercury waiting on his side of the arena taps his foot a little until he saw his two opponents coming inside though is a little shocked to see Pyrrha riding on Centorea's back like a very warrior on the back of her trusty stead ready for battle.
"We are here to claim victory!" Pyrrha yelled a little.
"Prepare for a beating thou shall never forget!" Centorea raised her front legs a bit and slams down them back down.
"Oh dear, are you two really going to fight like that?" Glynda asked shock as she knows the ancient tradition of Centaurs letting one ride on their back if she or he is the partner for marriage to them.
"Do not worry, Professor Goodwitch. Pyrrha and I have grown very close along with another, she has earned my trust and friendship to ride on my back." Centorea stated strongly, and not revealing that these two girls had sex with Jaune too.
"Well, if you say so." Glynda sighed, deciding to let this go on since they're about to fight with Mercury.
"Okay, I was not expecting that, but whatever float your boat." Mercury excited.
"Oh man, hope the girls will be okay." Jaune worried.
"Hmm, I am curious to see how Mercury fights." Ren stroked his chin while Nora and Killa cheers for the two.
Glynda looks at both sides seeing they are ready to begin the exercise and also curious to see how well Pyrrha will fight while riding on Centorea's back, she just hopes this doesn't lead to some misunderstanding or an earful from Ms. Smith.
"Begin!" Glynda signaled the start of the match.
"Charge!" Pyrrha shouted and Centorea ran towards Mercury with her own sword ready for battle.
Mercury smirks as he run towards them as well throwing a strong roundhouse kick that the blonde Centaur woman blocks with her sword, she moves her sword to move the kick away and turn her body for Pyrrha to make a fast thrust attack that Mercury narrowly dodge it.
"Have at the!" Centorea swung her arm to attack.
Mercury saw that coming and performs a backflip to dodge her attack then perform a spinning breakdance to clash Centorea's sword with his boots.
"See if you like this!" Mercury performed a higher backflip and blasted an air blast from his metal boot that scares the horse woman a bit.
"Centorea, here!" Pyrrha handed her the shield.
Centorea quickly took the shield and held it up strong to block the air blast that push her back a couple of inches, then she got an idea from her head and threw the shield towards Mercury with all her strength which Mercury responded by stopping it with his other foot.
"That's a nice shield, but the color is not very much to my style." Mercury commented before kicking the shield away.
"I always thought it worked better for Pyrrha." Centorea smirked running on the right.
"Thank you, I had a bit of help making it." Pyrrha smiled.
Pyrrha reach up her right hand using her Polarity Semblance to pull her shield back onto her arm while changing her spear into rifle mode, she shoots a few bullets hoping to knock Mercury down.
But Mercury dodges them using the air blast to fly around and charges down at the two girls as he starts thinking of getting at least a hit or two on the Invincible Girl.
"He's coming, get ready!" Pyrrha said and fired some more bullets at Mercury.
Mercury dodges most of those shots while only were very close to his face and perform a fast barrel roll going for a swing kick to the head of the Centaur woman.
"You'll have to try harder than that!" Centorea raised her sword to block the kick.
"I intend to." Mercury smirked.
He made one air blast to flip himself over the shocked Centaur young woman for a strong midair high kick to Pyrrha's head, only to discover that Pyrrha is not on the back anymore and his kick was just hitting the air itself.
This shocked Mercury as he could've sworn the girl was on the back.
"Over here!" Pyrrha suddenly appeared behind him from his right.
It turns out that Pyrrha had a little plan with Centorea using the strength in her left arm to hold Pyrrha up as she jumps off the back while Mercury had his sight off from her in that instant moment and threw her up a bit.
Pyrrha shorten her spear into a sword to slash twice in an X attack on the side causing Mercury to groan and immediately with a strong spinning kick almost like a helicopter as she blocks the attack with her shield.
One last kick sends Pyrrha flying away and Centorea hurry over to catch the red hair girl to prevent her from touching the ground again.
"Are you okay?" Centorea asked.
"Yeah, this one has a strong kick." Pyrrha commented.
Centorea charges at Mercury again swinging her sword clashing against Mercury's metal boots and Pyrrha helps with swinging her long spear forcing him on the defense.
Then Centorea swung her sword fast that Mercury could barely react and with enough strong to slash at the chest and sends him flying back close to the wall, he got up again only for a sword to slightly touch the neck with the tip of the blade.
"Do you surrender now?" Centorea asked with Pyrrha pointing her rifle at his head.
"…Yeah, I surrender." Mercury sighed as he holds up his hands.
"The winners of this match are Pyrrha and Centorea!" Glynda announced.
"I take it you got a lot of experience from this fight." Pyrrha guessed.
"Yeah, I know you're a world-renowned fighter and knew we're leagues apart, you're even more of a warrior with a horse woman! No offense." Mercury said the last part of Centorea.
"None taken." Centorea smiled.
"But do not sell yourself short, you have skills and power that can certainly push Pyrrha to the wall even while you were holding back." Centorea said.
"Oh, so you thought I was holding back?" Mercury asked with a grin.
"Maybe, we'll have to see once we face each other in the tournament." Pyrrha smiled as Centorea turns away and walk.
"It would seem you're more than what you're showing if you're receiving such praises from Pyrrha and Centorea." Glynda said to Mercury.
"Yeah, I feel honor." Mercury chuckled.
"Just out of curiosity, how strong is Centorea alone?" Mercury asked.
"Well, I can tell you is that she comes from a family of jouster and her mother is known for being the Goddess of Jousting." Glynda answered before turning to the students.
"That is all for today. And remember, the dance is this weekend. But you all have your first mission on Monday. I will not accept any excuses." Glynda informed.
"Oh man, I really wanted a turn." Killa complained.
"Don't worry, maybe you'll get to shine once we go on our first mission." Nora believed.
Most of the students are leaving the combat class with Mercury meeting up with Emerald.
"Learning is so much fun." Mercury said sarcastically and Emerald just rolled her eyes.
Outside, Blake is seen looking a little angry again while her eyes are on the book in her hand until two people came up to her from behind.
"Hey, Blake!" Sun called out getting her attention though she looks irritated.
"How are you feeling since that investigation? You haven't talk to us in a while." Polt said.
"I'm fine." Blake said feeling a bit annoying.
"So, I hear there's this dance going on this weekend." Sun mentioned.
"We were wondering if you're going to dance with us and the others, I'm hoping we can make it more lively!" Polt smiled.
"What?" Blake asked shock a little and anger a bit.
"The dance. Are you going to the dance with your team and us?" Sun asked.
"I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you two of all people would get that." Blake angered before walking away.
Polt and Sun felt heartbroken of hearing their trustful kitty friend just snap at them like that with the doggy girl looking like she's about to cry with her ears down, Sun sigh comforting the girl the best he could while thinking if Blake is going to be okay and hope her team will help her too.
Unknown to any of them, the whole scene is being watch by something small a pair of green eyes and a little weird green and yellow antenna watching Blake storm off.
(Team JNPR's Room)
"Okay, now we are done!" Jaune stretched his arm up and lay on his bed after his team are done with their homeroom.
"Well done, sir Jaune. You stay through to the end." Centorea smiled.
"I feel like these homework just keep getting harder and harder…" Nora exclaimed.
"Good thing I don't get homework." Killa commented.
"Hey, aren't team RWBY doing the decorating for the dance this Sunday?" Jaune asked if he remembers that right.
"Yes, I heard team CFVY were supposed to do that, but their mission is taking longer to finish and won't be back probably until Monday." Pyrrha remembered hearing about that.
"Hmm, do you think they need some extra hands?" Jaune asked.
"Are you thinking about volunteering to help?" Ren asked while mediating.
"Yeah, better than doing nothing other than getting fancy clothes for the dance." Jaune nodded as he hops off the bed and make his way to team RWBY's room with Centorea behind.
"I'll be at the library." Blake said angry before walking away from the room.
Jaune and Centorea are confused of what they just saw and look at each other for a moment before knocking on the door, Weiss is there opening it.
"We just saw Blake leave, did something happened?" Jaune asked concern.
"Yes, she is still upset about the investigation not giving us the clear answer we've been searching for, and she too focused on that to worry about everything else." Weiss answered.
"I see, so that time is still eating her up." Centorea worried.
"Papi doesn't like this mean Blake. I want the nice Blake back!" Papi sobbed with her head on Ruby's shoulder.
"I'm worry this obsession may hurt her more than she realizes." Ruby said.
"Well, you guys could keep trying to talk with her even if she keeps pushing you away. Friends don't give up on each other like that." Jaune advised.
"That's a plan I can get down with." Yang nodded.
"So, was there something you want, Jaune?" Weiss asked and Jaune just remember what he came here for.
(With Blake, Beacon Library)
Blake is seen walking through the library with some books in her arms she got that could her help get find a lead on the White Fang's plans as she makes her way to one of the hologram computers.
But suddenly something slimy came under her foot and she slips on the slime dropping all the books and fell on the floor.
"What the fuck…?!" Blake confused as she got up, but then she saw the weird little slimy thing that was watching her.
Blake is confused of this little transparent creature wondering if it's another Demihuman for the Exchange Bill, but then the slime started change into a humanoid appearance.
The blue slime now looks like a little girl with a mass of green "hair" with three yellow "antenna" on the tips and her eyes being green with light-blue sclera. Her body shape appears to be the same size and build as Papi.
"Huh…?" Blake puzzled of this slime looking like a human now.
"Suu." The slime said.
"What?" Blake asked.
"Suu." The slime repeated the word.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Pyrrha has battled Mercury with the extra help from Centorea riding on her back to victory though not knowing of the guy's real plan, and now Blake had a slimy encounter with a literal slime that seems to have taken an interest to the black cat girl.
