Why was there shooting star during the daytime was the least of his worries now. It seemed to be heading straight for him. No matter where he went, it seemed impossible to dodge it. Until he realized that he might have enough time to make it inside his home. Right on his doorstep, he opened the door leading into his home. It seemed as it was usually. Runo snapped right back into reality when the shooting star hit him. It wasn't a shooting star.
When Runo looked around, there was no damage, no crater, no damage except himself. He was hit pretty hard when the object landed on him. But, it didn't hurt as much as expected. It felt like he just had fell off his bicycle. His eyes fell towards the object. It looked as if it was a Bipedal person. Though, it wasn't a human. He started to match the resemblance. It looked like the Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon, Lucario. But it couldn't be, could it? Pokémon weren't real. Yet, his eyes were not deceiving him. A Lucario. A freaking Lucario is in front of him.
It was unconscious unfortunately. Runo closed the door and brought him upstairs, into his room and laid the Aura Pokémon on his bed. Now that he examined the Lucario, he saw a hairstyle on the Lucario. Usually, in the games, all the Pokémon looked the same given they were the same gender, regional type, etc. Lucario's hairstyle kinda looked like Runo's own hair. Runo stayed by Lucario the whole time. Until it woke up.
"Hey, are you okay?" Runo asked the Lucario.
The Lucario looked around, until it laid it's eyes on the human. Unable to speak in human tongue, it used telepathy to communicate. A trait uncommon for Pokémon even Lucarios. "W-who are you?" Asked the Lucario telepathically.
"I'm Runo, I mean no harm." Runo said incase the Lucario tried to attack.
"Where are we? Lucario said through telepathy.
"We are in my room.. Were you expecting a more specific answer…?" Runo responded then asked.
"No, your answer is fine." Lucario responded, "I am sorry, I haven't given you, my proper introduction, I am Lucario Lucarioner Lucarious III. You may refer to me by simply Lucario."
"Uhm.. Nice to meet you, Lucario!" Runo said out of politeness. Also letting out a friendly smile to try to comfort this Lucario. "Anyway, are you doing okay? You kinda fell from the sky, like, right on top of me."
"I did? I see.. You see, I come from another world. Which I deduct because you, humans, I believe are called, do not exist within my world. Only through myths and legends do you humans exist within my world." Lucario explained the reality of the situation
"Umm.. That just went totally over my head.. But, I think I understand? So, you're meaning to say that we, humans don't exist in your world?" Runo said trying to make sense of the situation.
"Precisely, it seems that I've been transported here.. But how, I do not know." The male Lucario said. "I am sure that my other fellow Lucarios would be able to track me down and bring me home. In the meantime, I need a place to stay-"
"You can stay here!" Runo said while literally screaming inside his head. This is the excitement and non-boring life he asked for. Though for how long, who knows. But, he was happy.
"Really?" The Happy Lucario said. Lucario mainly spoke in that old English, since it is custom for it.
"Of course! I-.. just gotta explain you to my parents… They are currently away on a trip for a week so.." Runo explained.. "Are.. you hungry?"
"Yeah.. I am of the hungry variety. What food do you have?" Lucario asked as he tried to stand up from the bed he was laid in.
"Well, we have meat, salads, noodles. I gotta check for anything else." Runo answered as something got stuck in his eye. "Follow me, downstairs is where the kitchen is."
"Yes.. You must show me what a kitchen is.." Lucario exclaimed through his telepathy. Lucario was excited to see a human thing called a kitchen.
Runo started to close all the windows and pull down the blinds. This was to protect them from any onlookers to Lucario's unawareness.
"Why do you close the windows? Is someone out to get you?" Lucario innocently asked through his telepathy
"No, but if someone sees you, they'd be after you. Tryna get you."
"That's… Interesting.. Why would they go after me?" Lucario said
"Because.. you are a Lucario.. You're different.. They'll probably cut ya to pieces if they get their hands on you." Runo explained as he saw his sister eating her pancake. "Uh oh.. Lucario go back to the living room, if you see anyone come through.. Stay hidden."
Lucario quickly ran behind the couch that was positioned perfectly where Runo's sister could not see him.. The living room had two couches and a reclinable chair all facing towards the towering 65 inch TV and it's stand. A bathroom stood to the left of the TV and to it's right was the kitchen. In there, sat Runo's younger sibling. Eating her pancake while watching YouTube on her iPad.
Runo walks in and starts to check out what food they have while being non-suspicious to his sister. He knew that he couldn't trust her as they were on okay terms but not the greatest. They fought a lot as one of them would usually make a stupid remark then the other gets mad and they start arguing. Plus, she'd probably just tell someone about Lucario then the entire government appears at our door. Soon, his sister went back upstairs as she finished her food.
"Hey, Lucario.. You can come on out now! My sister went upstairs.." Runo said as he brought Lucario inside the Kitchen.. "Most of the food is in the fridge or the cupboards."
"What's a cupboard or a fridge?" Lucario asked through his telepathy..
"Oh, yeah, sorry.. This is the fridge and you just pull and it opens. Same with the cupboards, though some of them contains some cooking stuff." Runo explained "Let me know if you see anything that catches your eye.."
"Lucario, I gotta let you know, you are gonna need to learn a lot of stuff if you are gonna live here until your friends arrive to save you. So, I'll help you learn some of the stuff of our world.." Runo said as he wanted to be helpful to his new friend. If.. they were friends.
"Of course Runo! I, Lucario, would need to learn about this world. As much as I can.. Also, Runo.. Of course we are friends.." Lucario made a smile when he said that.
Runo nodded while in his mind, it is in total chaos, with such phases such as, "He can read my mind?"; "Maybe, it was just a lucky guess."; "I'm just going crazy or something because…"
"Runo. I found something. Looks interesting.." Lucario holds up a package of meat. A decently thick one of them.
"Alright, I'm gonna start preparing it, it'll be a while." Runo puts on oven mitts and puts the meat inside the pre-heated oven. "In the meantime, there's someone I'd like you to meet. He is a very good friend and he has some connections that might be able to help ya friends out, finding you."
"Oh, of- course.. -I'm tired of saying words like this.. Is it okay that I speak like you? I- kind of get tired of speaking this way.. But being a prince of my tribe isn't easy.." Lucario said in a sad way. "But-"
"Lucario, you don't even need to ask! Speak however you want to! It's all good with me." Runo said in a cheerful way. "While the food is cooking, wanna have a snack?"
"What's a snack?" Lucario responded while slightly wagging his tail at the previous statement.
"It's just a type of food to keep you steady while the main dish cooks or something else. In other words, it's just light food. Here, these are called chips, try them!" Runo offered Lucario some chips. "Let's go upstairs, I'll introduce him to you using a technology you've never probably seen before!" Runo ended by giving a small smile.
"Mm.. Very good. These "chips" are very good. You gotta get me more.." Lucario happily munched on the chips with his tail wagging side to side with how much he enjoys the newly discovered, at least to him, food.
"Yeah, with how quick you are going through them, I am gonna need to buy some more. You're even gonna contend with me, the world's most chip eating man but scratch the world and replace that with household." Runo joked as Lucario only partially understood it.
"Also, my friend's username is BlueKoala, but you can just call him Blue. Just know, he's gonna mistake you for a human pretending to an animal.. Hence, a furry. And.. stuff happened with him and furries. So, just letting you know now, before you get offended for something you don't exactly understand."
"Alright, I'll understand." Lucario still seemed confused but got out of the conversation that he shouldn't get offended by anything, since he wasn't used to see Pokémon.
The computer screen appeared on the monitor. It's desktop showed a standard wallpaper with a dock and a friendly Finder face at the beginning of it. A Discord logo appearing shortly after the dock. Clicking it with the mouse then clicking on a familiar profile picture.
A Koala wearing AirPods and a kid's hat with a propeller on top. It also has a online icon right next to it. It shows their message history but Runo clicks on the call icon on the top right of the screen. A sound effect played showing that both of them had connected.
"Hey Blue! How come you didn't hop on with the boys yesterday?" Runo asked as he would regularly.
"Family stuff you know. They celebrate anything.. Anything that brings them away from thei-" BlueKoala said before he was cut off.
"I'ma stop you before you go on another tangent. I need your help with this." Runo turns on his camera as he shows Lucario. Lucario sends a small wave towards the strange device he was seeing a person through.
Blue seemed to spit out the water he was drinking and fall back on his chair which caused the chair fall back too, landing both the chair and Blue on the ground. "I'm okay.." As soon as he set his chair right and sat down. An immediate response appeared from him, "Why. Do. You. Have. A. Furry. In. Your. House." Blue said as serious as he's ever been. "Also. Why. Does. Bro. Look. Like. A. Lucario."
"That's because he is. Lucario, show him Aura Sphere. Wait, do you know Aura Sphere?" Runo said as he tried to prove that Lucario was in fact a Lucario.
Lucario nodded as he telepathically said, "Of course! What kind of Lucario doesn't know Aura Sphere.." Though, Blue could not hear what he said as they talk through voice on a computer, not through a new voice in their head. Lucario proceeded to make a bright blue Aura Sphere. An easy task for the Aura Pokémon. Blue watched with amazement with seeing a real enough Aura Sphere through his screen.
"You believe us now?" Runo said with a certain tone that is hard to describe but has a specific feeling. "I'll catch you up to speed, Lucario hit me with a lot of speed from the sky, like a meteor, but somehow nothing was damaged, except me, which didn't hurt me as much as you think it would. And, I started to cook some food for- wait a minute, I forgot it! You guys keep talking, and all, I'll be right back!" Runo ran downstairs with a sense of urgency that could fuel him for weeks.
"So, umm, I'm Bobbert, but you can call me Blue…. Sorry, I called you a furry, stuff happens.." Blue looked both sad and uncomfortable.
Lucario knew that he needed to respond because of what these "furries" did to him but couldn't use telepathy as he was too far away but also didn't know his exact location so he just settled on using a regular old, "Lu- Lucari- Cario…"
"It's all good." Blue smiled despite the body language he just spoke. Blue continued, "Anyway, I-"
Blue was interrupted again when "Hey guys, I'm back.. Ehhh.." Runo grunts as his hand looks burnt. "Foods done.." Runo says with a sign. This makes Lucario question to what happened downstairs in the kitchen..
"Is that normal? To get burns on your hands when your cooking?" Lucario asks in a worried tone, telepathically.
"For me, most times. For everyone else, no." Runo admits "Trust me, the food is gonna be better..
"Runo.. give me your hands.." Lucario said in a caring way but in a demanding manner. Runo proceeded to do what he was told. One of Lucario's paws were holding Runo's hands and the other was hovering over the hands. A small Aura Sphere appeared, engulfing Runo's hands. In around 20 seconds, it was all back to normal. It seems that it made it heal faster. "Feeling better?" Lucario said
"You know I'm still here right? I get that this is a bonding moment but I mean you guys can't just forget about me." Blue injected, clearly annoyed that it was as if he got forgotten about.
"Sorry, Blue, heheh, I feel like I'm forgetting something…. Oh yeah! I was gonna ask you about a way to help Lucario get home. He needs a way to do that.." Runo asked as he wants to help his new friend get home..
"That's gonna be a research project but I'm down.. I'll get work on that done tomorrow, also it might be good to know Lucario more, might help a little bit.." Blue said happily.
"Anyway, Blue, I'ma hop off, gotta go teach Lucario how to use a fork, see ya!" Runo said as he grabbed the mouse and went to hover over the End Call button.
"See ya Ru!" Blue said before the call disconnected.
"Ru? Is that your nickname?" Lucario asks with a sly smile on his face. His tail moving side to side slowly.
"That's what Blue calls me," Runo explains "I don't get why it's so funny to you though."
"It's something that the little Riolu say when they are young. From now on, you are a Riolu.. Hehehe…" Lucario chuckles, still with the sly smile on his face.
"Yeah, yeah. Laugh it out," Runo said annoyed but went along with it. Usually, he was the youngest whenever he played with his friends, and this time being no different by being called a Riolu, the pre-evolution to Lucario. "Anyway, are you gonna stand there laughing or are you gonna come to eat?
"I'm coming," Lucario said as his last few chuckles came out. Runo didn't really understand how a joke can be that funny. But, whatever, he honestly didn't mind, he was getting what he wished for, something interesting to happen.
"We still have some leftovers for rice and some mashed potatoes to go along with th- You ate the whole steak!" Runo stood there in total shock with how quickly Lucario ate that steak.
"What type of Lucario is he? That can eat that incredibly fast. Wow. World Record Holder right here in front of me, he ain't even from our world, damn." Runo whispered to himself.
"I- was planning on having some too.." Runo said shyly
"Oh, sorry, hehe, um.. You said you had leftovers..? I'm still a tad hungry. Plus-" Lucario said before being interrupted
"Shh.." Runo held up a finger to Lucario's mouth and said, "Follow me.." A short distance of walking later, they arrived at Runo's secret food factory. Well, that's what he called it, it didn't actually produce anything. "Go wild. Have fun, I'll go have some of the leftovers from yesterday. Don't let anyone see you.
The Secret Food Factory contained, chips, cookies, water bottles, and other snacks. It seemed that no one other than Runo came there besides his friends when they visited. All the water bottles were kept on the top shelf, the chips on the middle shelf, and cookies, such as Chips Ahoy or the generic store brand of cookies were on the lowest tier shelf.
Runo returned downstairs and heated up the rice and mashed potatoes. Leaving some for his sister in the microwave. He ate, then returned the Secret Food Factory to see Lucario laying down and all the chips and cookies were eaten. At this point, he wasn't even surprised but he was gonna miss the supply he had gathered up. But, he was his fault, he did say "Go Wild."
"Lucario, wanna watch a movie?" Runo asked as he stood in the doorway.
"Maybe, what is it? An animal or something?" Lucario guessed as he tried to stand.
"No, just come to my room, Blue gonna watch it too. He asked if we wanted to watch one." Runo assured him.
"Okay, I'm coming.." Lucario started
"Alright, I'll meet you there." Runo said as he sprinted upstairs
Soon, Lucario made it upstairs and Runo was waiting on his bed patting it, signaling Lucario to sit down.
"Hey guys, alright, what movie we watchin?" Blue said through the little bubble floating on the screen.
"Up to you, something not too graphic though." Runo said
"I know, how bout' a Pokémon Movie, give Lucario some familiar basis," Blue said in a helpful manner. "But which one.. how about Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.. Give bro a star of his own kind, is that good with you Lucario?"
"Lu-car.." Lucario said responding to Blue's question
"He means, that's okay." Runo says as to translate what Lucario says.
"Ight, starting it up now.." Blue says
The movie plays and it shows how Pikachu and Meowth got kidnapped by Mew and then a Lucario mistakes Ash for Sir Aaron but helps to guide them to the Tree of Beginning to save Pikachu. Team Rocket follow to try to get Meowth back. The rest of the movie plays out while Lucario and Runo are the verge of becoming asleep. Right as the credits play, both of them are asleep and Runo is laying on Lucario. As bros. Blue is also asleep as it shows on his screen. This is gonna be the end of the day for them..

Sorry I took so long getting this chapter out, I was planning to release it a few days ago but I just kept adding and stuff came up *trolling* so I was a bit busy.
