It has been around 2 days since Lucario first arrived in Runo's home. A certain person was arriving that day. Though not yet, Lucario had become hungry and decided to head downstairs while Runo was sleeping on the floor. After recalling how to pour cereal into his newly acquired bowl from the cupboard. He didn't exactly like milk, both in his world, and in this world.. He didn't like the thought of drinking milk.. It was kinda of weird to him. To what Lucario knew, Runo didn't exactly like it either and that he is lactose intolerant. Runo wasn't entirely lactose intolerant, a pizza slice was fine as long as the entire thing wasn't made of it. Eating his cereal, plain, was actually not bad. Despite it, a ton of things were on his mind. Figuring out how to get back to his world was his top priority. Stopping whatever was lying within that world was kind of forgotten about.
*Ding, Dong* *Knock, Knock, Knock*
Lucario was snapped out his little world and startled by the sudden noise. Having sensed an aura odd to him, a unstable mess of an aura within it unlike Runo's aura which was strong, maybe as strong as himself; even though, if it was a bit smaller, it might've even exploded. Maybe, Aura within humans are just messy if it isn't strong. Runo was still asleep, and so he decided to open the door. He only detected one person, and so he can just wipe their memory if they are a bad person or with bad intentions. Heading towards the door, he opened it and was greeted by Blue with a suitcase on his left.
"Hey Lucario! I'm here!" Blue started
"Oh, hello, Blue! Nice to meet you in uh person!" Lucario said to Blue telepathically
Blue, unused to telepathy replied, "Ack, wow, uh, I- Sorry, not exactly used to telepathy."
"Come in, Runo is still asleep, I think that pizza yesterday made him too full to do anything but." Lucario informed Blue
"Ah, ight.. So, I guess let's go to his room?" Blue questioned as he didn't know where to exactly go..
"Yeah, sounds good." Lucario answered
Both of them went upstairs and slipped into Runo's bedroom right as the door right next to them opened. A still half-asleep Lunay was walking downstairs while holding her iPad in a way where she could still see her video. Luckily, both Lucario and Blue made it inside the room before she saw them.
"Damn, he wasn't lying when he said he had all this stuff." Blue said amazed by Runo's collection of games and software.
"I still don't know what those boxes are for and why he keeps them.." Lucario said confused by what usefulness those had to Runo.
"They're just the containers for classic games that he has. Me personally, I wouldn't collect them but I can see why Red does." Blue explained.
"Anyway, why do you guys call each other colors? Or just have multiple nicknames in general?" Lucario questioned trying to change the subject for no apparent reason other than curiosity.
"Oh, well, he calls me Blue because of my username, it's pretty self-explanatory. Now, when I call him Red, it just happened I guess. It just contrasts with Blue. I mean you always see Red, Blue, and Green in like a group together but each one is vastly different?" Blue tried to explain.
Lucario nodded, seeming to understand..
"It's like us, we are friends, as in like a group, but we're different from each other, he's into video game collecting and I'm into making music. It's pretty different.. So, that's how I just gave him the name Red I guess.. Also, looking back at what I just said, it was pretty cringe.. So, I hope you get the memo.." Blue concluded explaining.
Lucario gave another nod and said, "You humans are too complicated.. But I get it. It just your Auras, it works but its complicated." Then he gave a smile.
"Aura? What's that?" Blue said confused, a term he's never heard before.
"Aura is like your Life Force, and the bigger it is, the stronger you are, or a term I like to say as Determined. You can be really strong, but your Life Force, very weak. As well, as the other way around.. I'm, well, my species is called, the Aura Pokémon since we can detect Aura and use it. Usually having our Auras much stronger than other Pokémon.." Lucario explained in it's entirety.
"Damn, uh, okay.. Anyway, why is Runo sleeping on the floor, also why did it just occur to me just now?" Blue asked.
"We had to figure out a sleeping solution and he offered me his bed, and he made sure I didn't say no.." Lucario answered with a plain face.
"Should we put him on the bed?" Blue asked as Runo woke up
Runo groaned as he opened his eyes to see Blue and Lucario sitting on his bed, looking down at him. "Morning.. Uhh..humf.. Blue? What are you doing here, I thought you were coming later today..?" Runo said still dazed from waking up.
"Reddy boy! I've been here for like only 10 minutes or less.. Plus, the taxi came early.. Hope you had a nice nap though!" Blue responded as he snickered during the last part.
"Oh, shut up, Blue.. Um.. Soo. What we gonna do now?" Runo questioned..
"Good question.. I did bring some stuff that I found on eBay..?" Blue brought up.
"What did you bring? Can I see?" Lucario begged as he loves surprises as in the good kind of it.
"So, I bought this thing that uses Aura, I don't know where this person found it but it cost me 2 thousand dollars. In the front, it says Aura so yeah.. Lucario.. You said you can control Aura and whatnot right? Maybe you can power this thing or do something with this." Blue showed the magnificent orb.. It glowed every so often and had a pattern inscribed on it. Along with the word, "Aura" on it's front.
"If it isn't the A.S Orb! It's a special orb crafted by my mentor! I could tell since this is his marking on it, not any of the other, older, mentors. If I recall, this might be able to get me home! Though, it requires power.. Two people need to be supplying it with Aura at one time.." Lucario explained, happy to see a familiar thing, along with wagging his tail, he was visibly happy and excited to return to his world.
"Wait, if we need two people to use Aura, on it, how do we find another Lucario to help you?" Runo asked as the question did not phase Lucario.
"That's the fun part, you don't." Lucario smiled.
"Oh, come on! I was gonna teach him about memes! Runo!" Blue yelled as Lucario continued.
"Now, I'm just gonna train one of you to do it, and since Runo's Aura is more powerful than Blue's, I'll train you!" Lucario exclaimed and did a pose.
"Really? I can control Aura?" Runo asked as he sat there confused about how has unknown powers that he apparently doesn't know about.
Blue grumbled as he wasn't being the one trained as he wanted to use cool powers to show off to people he knew. Even though, if someone tattled on him, he'd be screwed.
"I don't know if you can, but I'm 99% sure! Your Aura is pretty powerful compared to your sister and Blue's. Don't worry Blue, you are more determined than his sister. Now, what's gonna be the fastest way for you to use Aura Sphere.." Lucario pondered.
"I- I'm going to be using Aura Sphere?" Runo exclaimed.
"What! No fair.." Blue cried and continued to grumble.
"I mean, Aura Sphere is how you activate and power the orb. It engulfs it and it does it. Easy!" Lucario exclaimed.
"Easy for you to say.." Runo thought in his mind
"Huh? Did you say something Runo?" Lucario asked, too busy to read his mind but still able to understand when he thinks.
"Huh- Nothing.." Runo smiled as he hid the thought from his mind.
"Where to start.. Hmm.." Lucario thought to himself out loud.. well.. telepathically.
"Well, you could still train me right?" Blue said hopeful to be able to learn something.
"Actually, I could help you make a small one, but it would be too dangerous for you to help us activate the orb." Lucario explained
"What do you mean?" Blue said confused
"Since your Aura isn't strong enough to withstand the amount it takes from you. Also Runo don't worry when you power the orb, your Aura will be restored with a good night's sleep." Lucario replied answering Blue's question along with Runo's unspoken question.
"Oh, bet, sounds good." Runo said
"Mmm-hm," Blue answered.
"Well, we might need another place to train since, I think you don't want to destroy your home.." Lucario brought up
"True, true.. I might have a hidden spot where no one should hear or see us." Runo helpfully told Lucario and Blue
"Alright, where is it?" Blue said
"Yeaahh, that's the problem.. It's 15 minutes away… Driving.. I don't know how long it will be walking.." Runo awkwardly chuckled as they formed a plan.
"That IS a problem," Lucario said, "I might be able to make us invisible or do something that won't get us noticed."
"Since when can you turn yourself and others invisible, the games don't allow Lucarios to do that." Runo asked confused
"Oh, yeah, I didn't mention it, but uh, my bloodline is kinda special and all that in which our Aura is usually way stronger than the other Lucarios and we have special powers that the others don't have.." Lucario casually said
"Damn. I guess invisibility will work." Blue exclaimed.
"Sounds good, let's going now-" Lucario said
"Nope, we ain't leaving until we've eaten." Runo jumped in
"True," Blue said
Lucario also nodded in agreement with Blue's statement. They soon went to the kitchen and got some toasted sandwiches and water. Soon after they ate, they went outside in pursuit of going to the special place Runo knew about and to train.
"Okay, we're gonna take a right, here." Runo said quickly
"How much longerrr… ah-huhh, I'm tired.." Blue asked.
"Around 5 minutes away." Lucario chimed in
"Okay.." Blue sadly spoke
"Lucario, what's it like in your world?" Runo asked trying to entertain Blue so he isn't such a non-slog.
"My world? Well, it's nice and beautiful with some waterfalls and all. It's people are very respectful and helpful. That's pretty much it as a summary." Lucario said cheerfully
"What about your life in your world? Do you enjoy it?" Runo said, questioning him along with being philosophical.
"I do, just wish I wasn't royalty. I want to be more like a exploration team member. Royalty life sucks, you can't do anything without people trying to shut you down especially because 'You are the kingdom's prince, you can't do this because you can scrape your arm.' Not even to like walk around my kingdom." Lucario ranted as he explained why he wasn't able to anything. "Blue, your backstory is pretty mysterious to me at least so can you share it with me.
"Sure, I- uh guess" Blue explained. "For me, so, I was like 7 at the time, then I met a furry on my Xbox and I called him weird for wearing a fur suit and having a furry picture as his profile picture. Then- he found my address and came to my house and, uhm, took me. He kinda did stuff that would not be allowed to say on PG-13 networks. I'd rather stop talking about it now.." Blue now seemed extremely uncomfortable.
"Sorry, I payed you for that.. I didn't know.." Lucario apologized sensing that he should apologize to bringing the topic up.
"…What about you Runo? You never really told me your backstory." Blue added
"Oh, uhm, uhh, me?" Runo awkwardly said, trying to find a way to dodge the question.
"Yeah, you, there's no one here named Runo besides you." Blue said picking up on Runo's way of saying, 'I kinda don't want to.'
"Oh, look, we're here! Um, we made it 2 minutes early, tada, a forest clearing! Heh heh, heh, heh." Runo finished
"Yes, this would work nicely for training," Lucario said, happy with this secret area. "Let's get working on it immediately, so we can get home quicker. We don't want to be late for dinner." Lucario started

Sorry I am a bit late on posting this, I was a bit busy. It is a shorter chapter than the 3000 word ones, I've been putting out but it should lead into the first huge arc for our new trio. Also, if you've noticed, I've been kind of naming the chapters as in the way, Pokémon would for the Anime. Just a nice tidbit. I am finishing up Pokémon: Super Mystery Dungeon and should hopefully give me some new ideas in terms of story to this little FanFiction. I would definitely recommend the game to a new 3DS user who is a fan of the previous games. I should be hopping off now, it is pretty late for me as I am writing these author's notes. I'll see you guys in the next one. *cue the outro music*
