Chapter 6: New Rivals as We Fight for Survival!
Runo began to start to fall towards the ground.. Such pressure of the air made him lose consciousness. Soon, he landed on the beach, near a huge boulder, which thankfully he didn't hit. He laid on the sandy beaches for an hour or two, the sun nearly giving up it's dominant position in the sky to the moon. Eventually, he woke up, and saw he was on a beach.
"Where am I? Did I die or something.. Last thing I remember.. Last thing I remember was being put into a portal with Lucario and Blue… Urgh.. Sounds about right.. Wait.. What am I saying, "Sounds about right", I'm in a f— new world and I need to find a place called Real-is town or Ralis Town, or Ralsei Town.. Damn.." Runo thought to himself.
He walked over the water and looked at himself, he looked.. different.. He did feel way shorter than what he was just used to.. It seemed like he had black appendages like Lucario did, but didn't look like a Lucario.. More.. like a Riolu!
"What! I'm a Riolu! How? But, I'm a Human! Uhm.. I mean, I don't mind being a Riolu but it'll feel weird for a few days. If I am here for a few days.. I mean.. I wouldn't mind being able to see Aura.. Wait, can I still form an Aura Sphere?" Runo asked himself
Trying his hardest, he formed a huge one. "How? I don't ever remember being able to make that Aura Sphere, that huge.. Maybe, the Lucario line can just do it easier perhaps.. But, Riolus can't form Aura Spheres." Runo quickly reabsorbed the Sphere.. Continuing along, he found a building of sorts. A cottage. He knocked on the door. It seemed to become unlocked, then the door opened to the young Riolu, showing a Hawlucha.
"Hello- Are you okay, please come inside! You need medical attention right away!" The Female Hawlucha said, urging Runo to come inside.
"I-uh what? I don't feel bad-" Runo felt a spike of pain rise up all throughout his body, then another one, then another one. He quickly looked around himself, and saw that all his fur was bloody, it looked like that he had no fur that was blue, which was the normal color for Riolu.
"Never mind, I definitely do.." Runo said as he tripped onto the ground as he tried to get into the cottage. As if it were his instinct, he started to whimper as he continued to feel those strange pain spikes within his body.
"Here, let me carry you," Hawlucha said as she started to carry the young Riolu.
As soon as she touched Runo, he bit Hawlucha as though it was another one of those instincts. Runo whimpered once more, "I'm sorry.. I- just don't like being touched by other people, especially for who I don't know. Ah-" Runo said as another pain spike ran through his body.
"Please, you have to trust me, because you look like you are in critical condition, to the point, where if you don't get help.. You'll die.." The Hawlucha said trying help the Riolu, while also wincing from his bite.
"O-ok.." Runo said as he felt his energy draining faster and faster each second, having to leave his life in the random woman's hands. Soon, he fainted.
Hours later, he woke up to being in a bed with bandages all over him. The moon poking through the window, showing it's face to Runo.
"It's nice, isn't it? The moon." A voice said out of nowhere, Runo turned towards Hawlucha.
"Huh?" Runo said, surprised.
"Are you feeling better now?" Hawlucha said, in a sweet manner.
"Sore.." Runo muttered loud enough for Hawlucha to hear.
"That would be usual.. You need to take a few hours of rest.. Anyway, what happened to you, for you to get to this state?" Hawlucha asked.
"Fell out of the sky.. That's all I could think of.." Runo responded.
"I-uh see.. Um.. Where are you from..?" Hawlucha asked another question
"Not from- this world." Runo responded again
"What do you mean not from this world?"
"I'm a human, not a Pokémon."
"You look like a Riolu to me?"
"I've transformed into one." Runo added
"Come again?" Hawlucha said confused
"I've transformed into a Pokémon." Runo said again.
"I don't exactly believe you. You're just a kid." Hawlucha said
"Well, considering I'm in this condition, me personally, I wouldn't think I'm lying." Runo said, making a very well made point.
"That is true.. and apparently, there is supposedly a crisis going on.. Human do usually appear during a crisis. Fine, say I believe you, do you even know where to go? Or, a place to live temporarily?" Hawlucha said, finally giving in to Runo's explanation.
"Yeah, I need to go to Real-is Town or whatever, that is what I was told before I came to the world." Runo said
"Realis Town? Lucky for you, we are only 2 Pokésquares away." Hawlucha helpfully answered his lingering question. While, smiling softly.
"But, I'm stuck in this.." Runo said, bringing a frown to his face, now being bound to this broken body of a Riolu.
"You know, I might have friend who can heal you quickly.. She might be coming through here to visit me tomorrow.. So, I say, get some rest," Hawlucha said, hoping she was of help to this Riolu. "Oh, and, my name is Lucia."
"Uh, thanks Lucia.. Um. I guess I'll just go by Red." Runo thought as he might as well have a new persona while in this world, just in case.
"Alright, Red.. I'll be in this room, let me know if you need anything." Lucia said.
"Of course," Runo replied, though he wouldn't ask anything more of her, since she was giving him a place to stay for the night, and helped him start to heal.
"Goodnight!"
"Night."
Hawlucha, now known as Lucia walked out of the room, turned off the light, and closed the door. She walked into her room, as she got ready for bed. Runo, now going by Red, thinks over all that has happened that day, soon, making him drowsy, he fell to the depths of sleep.
A multiple hours earlier, during the transportation process.
"Don't worry, I'm coming Red!" Blue said.
"Guys! We're gonna split up! We need to find each other, try to find your way to Realis Town. That's where-" Lucario disappeared into thin air.
"Blue-" Runo yelled right before he disappeared into thin air.
"No! Runo!" Blue yelled after he saw that his friend had now vanished along side Lucario.
"Oh please, Arceus, let them be safe.. Wait- who's Arceus-" Blue said right before he disappeared. Instead of being dropped out of the sky, he just woke up, in a grassy field, during the evening, the sun was 10 minutes away from no longer being visible.
"Where am I? Ughm.. wait, why do I feel hollow.. My hands are purple, my legs are hella sort, and purple.. Am I a Gengar? Holy! I'm a Gengar! Well, I gotta find Runo first, then we can do some trolling.." Blue thought to himself
"Didn't Lucario say to go to Realis Town or something.. Might be good to try to go there, Runo probably is in this world too.. So, he might be trying to find Realis Town too.."
"Hello..?" A voice said from out of nowhere.
"Huh? Who's there?" Blue asked, confused from where the voice came from.
"Oh, I'm right here!" A Sylveon appeared from behind the trees, which was apart of the forest which was next to the grassy field. This grassy field had plenty of flowers that didn't seem natural, yet seemed planted by another person.
"You know, you're in my field right now, and I need you to please move, because the flowers don't like to get trampled on." The Sylveon exclaimed.
"Oh, sorry, I kinda just woke up here and I don't know how I got here.." Blue replied trying to explain himself.
"It's okay? Um.. Sorry, to ask you a favor, but I'm going to Realis Town tomorrow and I need to get some Oran Berries before I go.. Is it okay that you help me collect some?" Sylveon asked, with her ribbons floating doing whatever.
"Uhm.. Sure..?" Blue said
"Great! I'm Sylvie by the way! What's your name?" Sylvie the Sylveon asked.
"Blue? Yeah, the name is Blue." Blue responded.
"Alright, Blue, I am gonna need to get some Oran Berries, there should be some over there." Sylvie said while using one of her ribbons to point towards a tree full of blue berries. "Don't forget to float over there, the flowers will appreciate it."
"I- don't know how to do that. I don't know how to float." Blue said, confused on how to proceed with Sylvie's request.
"But, you're a Gengar, you can easily float, you are a ghost type! Aren't you?" Sylvie asked.
"You see.. I look like a Gengar, but I'm a human. Not a Pokémon." Blue explained to Sylvie who obviously looked confused.
"Huh? But, but, but.. No human's ever been a Gengar before.. They've always been either a Riolu, Shinx, or Pikachu.. Are you sure you aren't lying?" Sylvie asked, seeming skeptical of Blue's explanation.
"I'm being honest! Honest! I don't know how to do any moves. Or anything!" Blue exclaimed.
"Okay! I believe you! You can come with me to Realis Town tomorrow, and let's see if we can find anyone who may be able to help you." Sylvie cheered.
"Let's go find those Oran Berries first, I have to sell them at the market. Also, I don't mind if you eat one or two.."
"Alright, gotcha." Blue said, willing to help this Sylveon, since she was probably his best ticket, straight to Realis Town..
"We'll meet up at that shack over there, that's where me and my pops live!" Sylvie explained.
"Sounds good, I'll try my best to not to touch the flowers, alright?" Blue said.
"Alright! See you at the shack!" Sylvie said, going her own way towards another tree full of Oran Berries.
"I'll try my best." Blue said as the usual darkness started to creep over the land.
The sun arose over a small cottage, that sat near the sandy beaches. This brought consciousness to a recovering Riolu that started to sit up on his bed, only to realize that he was sore, and still had bandages all over him.
"Urgh.. Where am I? Oh right, I'm a Riolu," Runo started.
"I really wanna get to Realis Town. I need to meet up with Lucario and Blue." Runo said to himself, as he tried to stand up.
"Meet up with who?" Lucia questioned Runo.
The young Riolu surprised at the sudden voice, jumped and hit his head against the roof.
"Ahh.. Ouch.." Runo said, partly whimpering.
"Hey! Are you okay? I didn't meet to startle you." Lucia said, comforting Runo.
"It's okay.. It's my fault, I should be used to this." Runo said
"No, no, it's my fault, I shouldn't have startled like that." The Hawlucha said rubbing Runo's head.
"Anyway, you should get ready, my friend should be coming soon." Lucia said, as they both walked out the room.
Runo walked with Lucia to the kitchen and sat down as he still felt stiff due to his bandages. Until, a sharp pain appeared in his head, causing his appendages to start to lift and float. Riolu yelled out in pain, it felt like he had been transported somewhere, but he didn't know where. It was dark. Dark. Was all he could think about. A phrase began to ring out though this void. "Through the mountain's edge, deeper than the deepest hell, higher than the highest heavens. There, find the final light, then thou shall end the devilish grin." It continued to ring, over, and over, and over, it felt it was familiar, but he had never heard of it before. It hurt, until the void turned into a hell. It now hurt like if someone was burning you alive in a toaster. Someone appeared saying, you think you could've gotten rid of me? Partner.
Soon. The light returned the world, he saw the familiar ground then fell unconscious once more. He woke soon after Lucia's friend had arrived. Runo laid down on a couch facing a fireplace. He saw Lucia talking to a Sylveon and a Gengar.
"Urgh.." Runo moaned in pain, as woke from his spell.
"You're awake! My, am I glad.. You just yelled, then fainted soon after." Lucia said, smiling softly.
"Mhm-" Runo said before being hugged by the Gengar, shocking everyone.
"Who-" Runo asked before having his answer.
"It's me, Blue. I've transformed into Gengar." Blue exclaimed.
"..Blue.." Runo cried as he hugged back, finally having found Blue.
"You guys know each other?" Lucia asked, hoping that she hadn't ruined the moment.
"We do, we're both humans right, and we went through a portal that brought us here, though separating us." Blue explained.
"Since when did you become a Gengar?" Runo asked through the few tears that fell down. Runo had never felt happier.
"Since when you become a Riolu." Blue responded. Being kinda vague, yet still understandable.
Soon, they stopped hugging, then Blue asked a big question.
"What happened to you? You're.. covered in bandages." Blue asked Runo.
"I don't know, maybe because I fell from the sky, me personally, I don't know. Though, that fall shouldn't have me hurt this bad." Runo explained.
"At the very least, we are back together and now we gotta find Lucario." Blue said.
"Wait, you mean Lucario? THE Lucario? Like the Prince?" Sylvie said, squealing at the thought of meeting him.
"Just so we are on the same page, it's Lucario Lucarioner Lucarious III, we are talking about. I think that's his full name." Runo said, to make sure.
"Wait, isn't that the Prince's brother? He's so lame.. Like, I'm pretty sure that's why he is missing right now." Sylvie said, sadly, sighing over what they just said.
"Hey, Sylvie, that's a bit mean of you," Lucia said.
"…" Sylvie stood there quietly, not knowing what to say.
"Well, we need to get to Realis Town… We need to meet up with him." Runo said, while asking if they could go yet.
"Oh, yeah! I need to get going now! I'll see you later Lucia! You guys are coming with me right? So, let's get a move on!" Sylvie exclaimed, now seeming unbothered by her previous statement.
"Alright, yeah, let's get going! Thanks, Lucia for everything!" Runo said as Sylvie's ribbons wrapped around both Runo and Blue, dragging them along.
"Of course, anytime!" Lucia said.
Within record time, Lucia's house was no longer visible. But, now, a city approaching on the horizon.
"We are almost here! Get ready, we are gonna go extra fast now!" Sylvie exclaimed, now starting her Quick Attack, which made them go extremely fast for a Pokémon. Both Pokémon who were strapped to Sylvie's ribbons were terrified of their speed and were clinging on to each other for dear life.
"We're here!" Sylvie exclaimed.

Woooo! I've finished Chapter 6 and now will start Chapter 7, please wait for it! Also, if you don't mind, it will be easier to call Runo, Red. If you don't mind, whenever Runo speaks, it will appear as "..." Red said. Instead of, "..." Runo said. It will save a tiny chunk of time when making these.. So, I hope it will be fine with you. Chapter 7 will be pretty crazy. Just to let you know, I will be going through and updating all of the Chapters, freeing them from typos and adding stuff that would be plot-relevant. Though, this would only happen around Chapter 10. Wow, I'm already talking about Chapter 10? Interesting. Well. Let me know if you have a suggestions, and that's all folks! -FMRG
