Next day of school
Today is October 3rd. Camila drove her car to the school, along with Luz sitting on the front seat on the right and wearing a black hoodie. Camila parked the car right in front of the school. Luz looked through the car window with a worried look on her face. She started to have a feeling that everyone in the school is going to hate her for what she did earlier with Josh. Camila noticed that Luz looked very worried. "Are you okay, Luz?" asked Camila. Luz looked at Camila. "Yeah, mama... I'm fine," said Luz. Camila smiles a little at Luz. "It's ok to be worried, Mija. I know everything's hard for you right now, but tomorrow will be better." said Camila. "Are you sure?" asked Luz. "I am very sure," said Camila. Luz looks at Camila and she smiles a little. "Alright then," said Luz. Camila kisses her on the forehead and Luz walks out of the car. Camila rolls the window out. "Have a good day of school, honey." said Camila. "I will." responded Luz. Camila drove away, and the little smile on Luz's face became a frown. "If only," said Luz as she started walking towards the school.
In the school hallway, which it's decorated with fall leaves and jack-o-lanterns on the walls, Luz entered. She noticed that all the students were looking at her. The way that they look at Luz made her feel uneasy. So she started to walk down the hallway. Some of the students kept looking at Luz with a dirty look, and some were whispering to themselves. Luz's expectation was right, she knew that everyone in the school hated her. Kelly, Charlie and Tammy are looking at Luz walking down the hallway. Tammy pulls out her leg and trips Luz. "Ahh!" yelled Luz, and she fell face first. Kelly, Charlie and Tammy walk to Luz and get in front of her. "Hello, Luzer." greeted Kelly. Luz lifts her head and sees Kelly, Charlie and Tammy. "Uhh, hi Kelly, Charlie and Tammy." greeted Luz. She got up and tried to start apologizing to them about Josh. "Ok, listen. About what happened to Josh, I'm so sorry-" as Luz tried to apologize, Kelly interrupted her. "We don't want your apology!" yelled Kelly. You almost killed Josh, one of the cutest jocks in this school!"
"Yeah, do you really have to fucking crack his skull open?!" yelled Charlie. "I'm sorry, ok?! I didn't even mean to!" said Luz. "Oh, you didn't mean to? Hope you don't mind if I do, this!" said Kelly. Kelly pushed Luz, almost causing her to fall. "Whoa!" exclaimed Luz. Charlie walks around and gets behind Luz. So Charlie joins Kelly by pushing Luz. Tammy joins in too and pushes Luz. "Hey, stop!" yelled Luz. The three cheerleaders kept pushing Luz, basically harming her, until someone yelled "hey!" The three cheerleaders turn their heads to someone. A school janitor wearing dark overalls named Reggie came by. "Leave her alone," said Reggie. The three cheerleaders stop pushing Luz and Kelly looks at her with an angry and dirty look on her face. "This isn't over, you piece of shit! This whole thing with Josh is all on now!" said Kelly, as she pushed Luz, successfully making her tumble to the floor. "Knock it off!" yelled Reggie. Kelly, Charlie and Tammy walked away from Luz. Luz is lying on the floor, rubbing her head. Reggie walked to Luz and gave her his hand. "Are you ok?" asked Reggie. Luz sees Reggie and grabs his hand. Reggie helped Luz up. "Yeah, I'm fine, really." said Luz. Luz sees that the beanie just fell off her head and is laying on the floor. So she picked her beanie up and put it on. Luz now gains a tired and depressed look on her face, and she crosses her arms. Reggie recognized the look on Luz's face and the way that she crossed her arms. "Don't let them get to you. I suffered the same way as you." said Luz. Luz looked at Reggie. "What do you mean?" asked Luz. Reggie inhales and tells her a story. "Back in high school in Russellville, I was an over-imaginative kid like you, and I was always being picked on by students. They threw paper balls at me, shot spitballs at me, heck they even called me names like "freak", "weirdo", but mainly "wizard wannabe." said Reggie. Luz was a bit surprised that Reggie actually loved fantasy. "You were a fantasy loving nerd?" asked Luz. Reggie chuckles a little. "Well, yeah, I was," said Reggie. Then Reggie continues telling the story to Luz. "I was feeling blue, like how you're feeling now. You know why? Because my mom died from a car accident." said Reggie. Luz gasped in shock after hearing about Reggie's mom's death. "I know. It struck me, really hard." said Reggie.
Luz remained silent for a quick second until she asked Reggie a question. "Then what happened?" asked Luz. "At High school, I accidentally got into a fight with my bully, Mark. He made fun of having a dead mom until I accidentally smashed his face against a locker and ended up cracking his skull on the forehead. I was in a fit of blind rage, and didn't know my own strength. So Mark went to the hospital, everyone gave me a dirty look when I'm around, and I felt really... Guilty." said Reggie. Luz looked at Reggie until she looked down and sighed softly. "Yeah. Maybe I do feel guilty of what I did to Josh," said Luz. "Well, you know what I did?" asked Reggie. "What?" asked Luz. "I kept going," said Reggie. Luz turned her head toward Reggie, right eyebrow raised. "You moved on?" asked Luz, and Reggie nodded. "I've decided to move on, like sweeping those bad memories aside, and let the greater things come for you in the future. But I know that my mom can live forever in my heart. You think you can do that?" said Reggie. Luz thought of going and she replied. "I think so." replied Luz. Reggie smiled at her. "Everything will work out, Luz. Believe me." said Reggie. Luz gave Reggie a small smile. "Now I have to get back to work, see ya." said Reggie as he walked away. Luz stood in the middle of the hallway for a brief moment, and she started walking down to the classroom.
It kills again
Meanwhile, in the security room. A security guard named Earl is reading a newspaper, sitting on a chair in front of a table with a monitor. He kept reading and noticed something in the paper. He saw a news report about Michael Myers missing for four years, never to be found after the Haddonfield Halloween murders in 2018. "Damn. Four years passed and he disappeared without a trace. My god, what could possibly be next?" said the Earl to himself. He kept looking at the news report in the newspaper, then suddenly something caught his attention and it was shown on the monitor. A shadow figure can be seen on the monitor, standing behind a few trees next to the school. The security guard was confused and looked at the monitor. "What the hell?" said Earl, staring at the monitor. "Someone better not be fucking around." said Earl, as he got up and walked out of the security room.
It cuts to Earl walking the school corridor, walking towards the main entrance of the school. He walked out of the school, then walked to the right and looked at the trees, only to realize that the figure disappeared. Earl got even more confused than before, he could have sworn that he saw something standing behind the tree. Likewise, he walked only five feet from the school on the right and kept looking at the trees. "Hey!" yelled Earl. The wind started to howl, and five crows flew to an electric cord and stood on it with its own feet and started to caw. Earl just kept looking at the trees, knowing that someone might be pranking him. "Whoever you are, stop it. It's not funny." said Earl, feeling annoyed. Earl sighed, then he turned around and walked back to the school.
It cuts back to the school corridor, where Earl is walking down, going back to the security room. He is a bit annoyed after what happened. "Damn kids. Always with their pranks and practical jokes. This is why I hate Halloween." said Earl. As Earl walked down to the security room door, he noticed that the lights in the room were turned off. He looked at the inside of the security room, instead of getting confused, he got more annoyed than before. "God help me," said Earl. He walked into the room, turned around and turned the lights on from the light switch next to the door. As the lights got turned on, Michael Myers appeared standing behind Earl and grabbed him by the neck, started choking and closed the door.
Michael Myers kept choking Earl from behind, until he kicked him in the shin, which made Michael let go of him. Earl coughs hardly and sees Michael, he was shocked to see an infamous killer who caused the Halloween murders in 1978 and 2018. "Holy fuck!" yelled Earl. Michael walks towards Earl. Earl turns his head to a baton and picks it up. He tried to hit Michael with it, but he quickly grabbed the baton and swiped it from Earl's grip. Earl gasped and Michael swung the baton, hitting his face. Earl yelled in pain and fell down to the floor. Earl layed down on the floor, he spit out something from his mouth and it's a tooth. Michael walked towards Earl and grabbed him by the shirt. "Oh no! No, wait! Hold on a second!" begged Earl. Michael started hitting Earl in the head with the baton multiple times, as he screamed in agony. Just as Michael kept bashing Earl in the head, he threw him to the table. Earl fell down and hit his head on the table. He moaned in pain, his head and face were covered in bleeding bruises. Michael Myers went to the table, grabbed a pencil and stuck it on the table. Soon after, he grabbed Earl's head and lifted him up. "Oh fuck! No! No, don't!" yelled Earl. He puts his hands on the table, trying to restrain Michael's killer strength. While Earl kept holding back, Michael pulled his head back. Earl screams, then Michael forces him to bow his head and finally stabs his head with the pencil on the table. Earl started wheezing and a few seconds later, he died. Michael looks at the body of Earl, tilting his head left to right, in all child-like curiosity. It cuts outside of the security room, where Michael walks out, closes the door and walks away, leaving Earl's body inside.
The Shape kills and stalks
An hour later, the school bell rang and all the students walked out of their classrooms. Luz walked out of the classroom with her head looking down, frowning and started walking along the school corridor. Luz walks to the girl's restroom, opens the door and walks in. Luz turns her head, only to see her reflection in one of the mirrors. She continued looking at her reflection with a frown and then sighed. So she went to school toilet No.1. Luz went to the toilet and closed the door. She sat back, started to not do anything but regret. She regretted everything from traveling to the Boiling Isles to helping Emperor Belos find the Collector who brought the Day of Unity. Thinking of these unpleasant memories, Luz sighed deeply and sadly.
It cuts back to the girl's restroom, where Kelly, Charlie and Tammy walked in, having a conversation. "No way, really?" asked Kelly. "Yes. He called me on the phone and invited me to his Halloween party. He promised that his party is gonna be sick." said Charlie. "OMG, girl. You're really lucky that Josh talked to you, not after that fucking weirdo injured him badly." said Kelly.
"I just hope that he recover soon," said Tammy. "Us too." said Kelly. The three cheerleaders walked to the sinks with the mirrors, took out their bags and started to put on some makeup. Tammy came up with something in her mind, she noticed that Luz's complexion and appearance has gone worse than before. "Speaking of Josh, have you girls noticed that Luz looked worse than usual or something?" asked Tammy. Kelly looked at Tammy and she snorted. "Who cares about the weirdo?" asked Kelly. "She's probably just being weird and talking about that Good Witch Azura nonsense or a ton of fantasy crap."
"Or even worse, she would find dead animal parts to build a diorama of a mythical creature," said Charlie. "Ewwwwww!" yelled Kelly, Charlie and Tammy in disgust and started giggling. It cuts back to Luz sitting on the toilet, hearing the three cheerleaders are saying something about her. She sighed softly. "Why me?" asked Luz to herself. Luz opened up her backpack just to take out her headphones. She took off the hoodie, put the headphones on, connected them to her phone and started listening to music. The music playing on Luz's phone is Eda's Requiem, so that Luz can remember Eda. What it comes down to are the three cheerleaders putting on their makeup and looking at their reflections in the mirrors. While they kept putting on their makeup, someone slowly opened the door, walked in, closed the door and locked it. Tammy sees someone in the girl's restroom and she gasps. Kelly and Charlie turn their heads to Tammy. "What's wrong?" asked Charlie. "There's some weirdo with a mask on, in the girl's room!" yelled Tammy. Kelly and Charlie turn their heads and see someone. That certain someone in the girl's restroom is none other than Michael Myers, standing in front of the door. The three cheerleaders got frightened and disgusted at the same time, seeing Michael in the girl's restroom. "Ewww! Get the fuck out of here, you fucking weirdo!" yelled Kelly. Michael looked at the three cheerleaders, standing like a statue and breathing behind his mask. "Are you deaf or something?! I said, "Get out!!" yelled Kelly. Michael pulls out a knife which makes Kelly, Charlie and Tammy startled. "What are you doing with that knife?" asked Charlie. Michael held the knife and kept looking at the three cheerleaders.
It cuts to Luz still sitting on the toilet, listening to Eda's Requiem. She didn't even hear the screams of the three cheerleaders being attacked by Michael Myers because she has volume turned up. The song that Luz is listening to reminds her of how she met Eda along with King, how she learned magic from her and how their bond grew strong. Luz missed Eda so dearly. "I miss you, Eda.." said Luz as she started to cry. Back in the girl's room, Michael is holding Charlie by the head as she is screaming loudly, until he stabbed her right through her neck and separated her head from her body. Kelly and Tammy screamed in terror, witnessing Michael kill Charlie. Michael puts Charlie's severe head down and starts walking towards Kelly and Tammy. Kelly is holding a black eyeliner head pencil, trying to defend herself. "Stay back!" yelled Kelly. Kelly tried to stab him with the eyeliner, but Michael grabbed her by the arm and punched her in the face so hard, causing her to lose three teeth and bleed from the mouth and making her drop the eyeliner. Michael grabs Kelly by the head and drags her to the sinks while she's kicking and screaming. "Noooo!" yelled Tammy. Michael lifts Kelly up and bashes her face against one of the mirrors, causing it to break and get tiny pieces of the mirror on her face. Kelly screamed in pain until Michael started slamming her head against the sink. "Oh my God!!" yelled Tammy. She saw the eyeliner pencil on the floor, picked it up and got up. Michael kept bashing Kelly's head against the sink, he lifted her head up, only to show that her broken gaping lower jaw, bleeding bruises on her face and dark colored blood oozing from the throat. Kelly is gagging uncontrollably. As Michael tried to finish Kelly off with a stab in the head, Tammy ran to him and stabbed him in the back. Michael grunted in pain and let Kelly go, making her tumble to the floor and her lower jaw gets loose from her throat. Michael slowly turns his head to Tammy and he breathes heavily at her. "Fuck you!!" yelled Tammy. Tammy tried to stab Michael again, but he grabbed her arm where she's holding the eyeliner pencil and stabbed her straight down her throat. Tammy gasps and chokes as she bleeds from the throat. Michael titled his head to the right and knocked her to the floor.
Tammy started shaking with the eyeliner pencil stabbed to her throat, losing a lot of blood. Kelly is laying on the floor, then she attempts to crawl away. Michael Myers notices that Kelly is crawling away. So he put down the knife on the sink, walked up to Kelly, stood in front of her and kicked her right in the face, eventually ending up breaking her nose. Kelly screams in agony and starts sobbing despite her loosen lower jaw. Michael grabbed Kelly by the head and lifted her up. Kelly kept screaming as Michael made her look into his blackest eyes, breathing heavily at her face. He held out two thumbs and started pinching her eyeballs. Kelly screamed in more pain, like screaming of all of her might until Michael squeezed her eyeballs like tiny tomatoes and snapped her neck with a murderous force. Michael dropped her body and looked at the dead bodies of the three cheerleaders lying on the girl's restroom floor. Michael walked to the sink and picked up the knife.
Meanwhile, Luz is still sitting on the toilet and she just finished listening to Eda's Requiem. She sniffed and wiped the tears from her face,Then took her headphones, put them in her backpack and closed it. She sighed once again, got up, opened the door, and walked out of the toilet, only to see what Michael left in the girl's restroom. Luz gasped seeing the bodies of the three cheerleaders lying on the puddles of blood. "Oh my God!" Yelled Luz. her body almost froze from this gruesome sight before Michael Myers appeared to her left and closed the toilet door. Luz turned her head and saw Michael, which made her scream. She hit Michael in the face, but it didn't affect him. So he slashed her left arm. Luz cried out in pain, and Michael grabbed her by the jacket and threw her against a wall. Michael Myers walked towards Luz menacingly until she saw a fire alarm on the wall. So she gets up and pulls it really quickly. The fire alarm starts blazing around the school and the sprinklers on the ceiling start spraying water, only to get Michael's attention. He looked up at the sprinklers on the ceiling, getting the hair of his mask wet. Luz makes a run for it and runs out of the restroom and Michael notices it.
At the school corridor, many students are running down the corridor, and running out of school. Luz appears running down the empty corridor while covering her ears from the sound of the alarm. When she hears an alarm, it reminds her dad dying in the hospital. The sprinklers kept spraying water, until Luz slipped on the wet floor and fell down, only landing on her slashed arm. She groaned in pain after she fell, just about to get up, a student jumped out behind Luz. The student's eyes got stabbed by two pencils and he screamed in agony. Luz sees the student and she screams, the student keeps screaming in pain while the blood is oozing out from his eyes. Michael Myers appears, he grabs the student and bangs his head towards the wall and slammed his face to the wall. When Michael slammed the student's face against the wall, the two pencils stabbed through his eyes and stabbed through the back. The student wheezes and dies. Michael slowly turns his head to Luz and walks towards her. He grabbed her by the legs, starting dragging her down to the corridor. "Get off me!" yelled Luz as she kicked Michael in the face. Michael accidentally let her legs go due to the fact that he had been kicked in the face and Luz got up and ran away. Michael looks at Luz running away while breathing heavily.
It cuts to the outside of the school where Principal Hal, Reggie, the students and the teachers are standing, soaked from the sprinklers. Principal Hal checked the list to make sure everyone is out of the school, only to realize that Luz, Kelly, Charlie and Tammy and the student are not here. He facepalmed. "Oh god." said Principal Hal. Reggie walked up to Principal Hal. "is something wrong, Principal?" asked Reggie. Principal Hal looked up to Reggie. "I'm missing five students." said Principal Hal. Principal Hal and Reggie looked at the school, then Reggie turned his head to him. "Let's go find them." said Reggie. "Agree." said Principal Hal. Principal Hal and Reggie walked to the school and entered. It cuts back to Luz running down. She kept running until she ran into the cafeteria where the incident with Josh happened. She ran to the kitchen and started hiding. She hides behind the alcove where the students get their school lunch, and she sits on the floor. Luz is panting in horror, clutching her neck where Michael had strangled her. She looked around the kitchen, seeing soup cooking in a pot, a plate of mashed potatoes smudged by the sprinklers, and soggy diced tomatoes in a bowl. Luz remained silent, with her right hand resting on her neck, and a frightened and unnerve expression on her face. She sees the dead body of a lunch lady, laying on a puddle of blood and her face is burnt, with her eyes looking directly at Luz. Luz gasped with fright, covered her mouth and started to tear up in fear.
Luz was about to lower her head to the floor when she spotted a sharp kitchen knife on the cutting board. So she stood up slowly, tiptoed to the knife, and picked it up. Luz looked at the knife, and saw her own reflection. She continued to stare at the knife until her eyes widened a bit. She put her left hand on the knife and began to touch it. Luz slid her hand all the way to the tip and started touching it with her finger. Luz accidentally cut her finger while touching the tip of the knife. She raised her left hand, only to see a bloody wound on her finger. Luz continued to watch the wound in silence and began to hear these sinister voices in her head. Some voices in Luz's head were saying some very disturbing and dark things like, "kill', "murder,", "kill them all." and some voices in her head were saying some very mean things like "loser", "idiot", "try-hard", "witch wannabe", "stupid", "weirdo", "villain".
Luz kept hearing the voices inside her head, making her feel like her soul and senses left her body, until she heard someone walking in the cafeteria. She gasped and quickly hid behind the alcove. Luz can hear footsteps, walking around the cafeteria, thinking that Michael is already here. She still has that unnerved expression on her face while holding the knife. She started to slowly gaze her eyes to the knife and started to hear the voices in her head once more, only this time, one of the voices got a bit louder. The voices that demanded Luz to kill weakened the voices that called her names and grew louder and louder. Like back in the cafeteria, Luz's pupils shrunk, her eyebrows lower down, she started breathing heavily and held the knife really tight. Luz heard footsteps walking towards the kitchen. She turned her head to the left and saw a foot across the kitchen. Luz stood up and ran towards the man, screaming angrily. She jumped at the man and stabbed him in the chest, which spurted some blood and got a splatter on Luz's eyes but she closed her eyes. The man fell to the ground and Luz sat on top of the man and began to brutally stab the man. "GET AWAY FROM ME! DIE! DIE! DIE!! Yelled Luz. Luz kept stabbing the man hard, blood spurted out, tiny blood droplets and splashes covered the floor. Principal Hal breaks into the cafeteria until he sees Luz stabbing the man.
Principal Hal widened his eyes and gasped in pure fright. "REGGIE!!" yelled Principal Hal. Luz heard Principal Hal's loud yell which made her open her eyes. Luz sees Principal Hal covering his mouth in fright and shock and she remains silent. She started looking down and she gasped in shock. She didn't stab Michael Myers, instead it's actually Reggie. Reggie has been stabbed seven times, with him bleeding uncontrollably by the wounds, and gagging very badly. "Oh no...no, no no no!" yelled Luz with shock. Principal Hal looked up to Luz and he got really mad. "You son of a bitch! What have you done?!" yelled Principal Hal. Luz covers one of the wounds on his chest and she looks up to Principal Hal. "No! I didn't mean to! Someone was trying to kill me-" as Luz tried to tell Principal Hal, he interrupted her with an angry yell. "You are so done, Luz Noceda! You heard me?! FUCKING DONE!!!" Yelled Principal Hal with pure anger. Luz looked at Principal Hal with a shocked and guilty face expression with tears running down her face.
Blamed on
Meanwhile, in downtown Gravesfield, Camila is driving to pick Luz up from school, with Amity in the backseat. Amity is looking at some pictures of her with Luz on her scroll phone. As Camila continued to drive, Amity turned her head towards her, "Luz's mom, can I ask you something?" asked Amity. Camila watches Amity in the darkened mirror on the ceiling of the car. "Of course, go ahead," said Camila. "Do you think that Luz would do something...bad to herself?" asked Amity. Camila heard Amity's question, sounding worrisome. "What do you mean?" asked Camila. Amity sighed softly, looking worried. "Well, Luz just feels like she's responsible for us being stuck in the human realm. I already have a feeling that she's going to make a decision that makes her sad and upset, you know?" said Amity. Camila looked at Amity in the darkened mirror, worried. "Maybe it's just me." said Amity with her head down. Camila started to have thoughts about Luz making a bad decision too, that she raised her lower lip slightly. But she calmed herself down with a small inhale and exhale, then she looked up to Amity in the darkened mirror.
"I don't think that's going to happen," said Camila. Amity looked up at Camila. "How do you know?" asked Amity. "I know Luz, she's always there to help people. She is like the biggest people person I know. I mean, didn't she help you become who you are meant to be?" Asked Camila. Amity began to blush. "Yes. she did." replied Amity. Camila looked at a small photo of a young Luz in the darkened mirror and smiled. "As much as she's imaginative and weird, she still wants to help people," said Camila. "She didn't have any friends until she met you, Willow, Gus and Hunter in the demon realm and I'm so proud of that. Luz is so lucky to have people like you supporting her." said Camila. Amity smiled at Camila. "Why, thank you Luz's mom. I really appreciate that." said Amity. Camila smiled at Amity and continued driving. Camila saw a red stoplight and she stopped the car. Amity kept smiling, until she heard something coming. "Huh?" exclaimed Amity. She looked to her left and saw an ambulance, sirening and driving to the right. Camila also sees the ambulance, driving by. "What was that?" asked Amity. Camila looks at Amity in the darkened mirror. "That was an ambulance." replied Camila. Oh, where is it going?" asked Amity. "I don't know, it just headed to the same direction where Luz's school is-" Camila stopped talking, until her eyes widened and realized that something bad happened in Luz's school. "Oh no..." said Camila. Amity looked at Camila. "Oh no what?" asked Amity. The green stop light glows and Camila drives to the right, a bit fast. "Whoa!" exclaimed Amity.
Meanwhile, at the high school, two police cars and an ambulance are in front of the school. There was no sound, only loud sounds of police sirens blaring in the background and everything got slow. A lot of students and teachers were standing outside the school with two police officers wearing glasses. Two more police officers walked out, holding Luz with handcuffs on her hands. Luz was kicking and screaming, trying to tell them that she didn't commit the murders. Camila's car drives her car to the school and stops. Camila gets out of the school and she sees that the two police officers are taking Luz to the first car. Camila was extremely shocked, as she ran to Luz. Amity got out of the car, seeing Luz being taken away with a shocked and worried look on her face. Luz sees Camila and tries to break away from the two police officers, but sadly, it is unsuccessful. Camila ran to Luz until Principal Hal blocked her way. Amity runs to the scene and runs towards Luz. One of the officers spotted Amity and stopped her from getting to Luz. Two guys dressed in white carry Reggie on a stretcher, taking him to the ambulance. one of the police officers put Luz inside the car while she kept kicking and screaming and the other police officer closed the door. Amity tries to get to Luz with tears crying out of her eyes while the police officer is holding her, Camila and Principal Hal are arguing about Luz, the two police officers who arrested Luz get in the car and one of the officers starts driving away. Amity cried out in sadness looking at Luz being taken away by the police, despite there being only siren sounds in the background. The police car kept driving away, it drove past the trees next to the school. Michael Myers appeared, standing around in the trees, and he saw the police car driving past.
