SHE escaped
Meanwhile, at the Gravesfield's sanitarium. Luz is in her room, looking through the window and standing lifelessly. She looked through the window, seeing the town of Gravesfield with lights on, glowing from the distance while the sky was pouring with rain. She kept looking through the window, with her eyes looking cold and dark, it's like her eye color had changed to black. Luz kept looking through the window for a few seconds, until she turned around and looked at the broken mirror on the wall. She walked towards the broken mirror and looked at her own reflection. Despite the mirror having a huge bloody shattered crack on it, Luz can still see her reflection. She had a soulless and cold look on her face, she raised her right hand and grabbed a piece of the broken mirror shaped like a knife. Luz looked at the piece of the broken mirror with her soulless eyes, she lifted her left arm and gave it a little test by cutting herself in the wrist. As Luz cut herself, her left wrist was bleeding. She didn't even react, she just looked at the bleeding wrist, watching the blood go over her arm and fall to the floor. At this point, Luz doesn't seem like herself anymore. She turned her head to the King mask she made, laying on the drawer. Luz walked to the mask and proceeded to pick it up. She pulled the string back attached to the mask and put it on. As Luz puts on the mask, she starts to breathe heavily like a sinister ghost. Even the eyeholes of the mask don't show her eyes in the dark, but only blackness. Luz kept breathing heavily, and she looked at the broken mirror piece holding on her right hand.
It cuts to a security room of the sanitarium. A young adult security guard named Jacob is reading a comic book, sitting on a wheelchair in front of a table with ten monitors on top. The comic has a picture of a yellow triangle with one eye on the cover. Jacob kept reading and smiled a little bit, but he wasn't paying attention to the monitors. He hears his phone ringing, so he grabs it and picks up the call. "Hello?" said Jacob. A voice talks on the phone and it's Dr. Shatner. "Hello Jacob, it's me." greeted Dr. Shatner on the phone. "Oh, hey Dr. Shatner." greeted Jacob. "Listen, Camila Noceda is taking me to the sanitarium. I will arrive shortly." said Dr Shatner on the phone. "Sure. I'll open the gate." said Jacob. "Good. You better be doing your job." said Dr. Shatner on the phone. "I know. I'm doing my job, Dr. Shatner. Don't worry about it. Bye." said Jacob as he hung up the phone, put down the comic book and started looking at the monitors. He kept looking at the monitors, one by one, checking the room in the sanitarium. Jacob looks at one of the monitors, which shows Luz's room was left open. Jacob became confused. "What the hell?" said Jacob. He got up, grabbed a flashlight and walked out of the security room to check if Luz left her room.
It fades to Jacob walking down the dark sanitarium hallway. He shines the flashlight around the hall, to see if someone can be encountered. Jacob looked from the distance, to see Luz's room door. He took a deep breath and started walking towards the door. "Luz Noceda?" said Jacob, calling her name. But he didn't hear Luz's response, it was just silence, pure silence. Jacob stood right in front of the door, he opened it a bit wider to see if Luz was inside. Unfortunately, Luz isn't in her room but her room is a mess. The drawings, papers and colored pencils are laying on the floor, the pillow is stabbed nine times and the window is completely shattered with blood droplets strolling down.
Jacob was confused at first, but he noticed something that was disgusted and shocked at the same time. He saw a bunch of words and sentences on the walls, all written in blood. The words on the walls read Idiot, Try-hard, Screw up, Villain, Messy, Pathetic, Stupid, and Idiotic bitch. And the sentences on the walls read I ruin everything, I am nothing, Everyone hates me, I'm a pathetic little shit, I hurt everyone, I am useless, I'm a nobody, nothing will get better, and one sentence that sounded very suicidal, I deserve to be dead. Jacob was disturbed and disgusted, looking at the blood written on the walls. He turned to the left, only to see a light glyph drawn on the wall, above the bed. "What the fuck?..." said Jacob. She shined the flashlight to the glyph drawn in blood and looked at it for a few seconds until he heard a female scream from a distance. That scream made Jacob jump, he looked at the dark hallway and started running down.
As Jacob kept running down the hallway, he turned to the right and ran to the booth. Jacob got in front of the booth, only to see a ginger nurse named Debbie, laying on the floor with her neck slit open. Jacob gasps in shock. "Debbie!" yelled Jacob as he jumped over the booth and knelt to Debbie. Debbie is covering her neck with her left hand, avoiding the blood from oozing out. She gags and looks at Jacob. "Oh my god! What happened?!" yelled Jacob. Debbie is unable to speak, due to the fact that her neck is slit open, with crimson blood uncontrollably oozing out from the wound. Jacob quickly ran to a room, looking for the first aid kit to help Debbie from the slit wound. He noticed that the room was dark. So, Jacob flipped the light switch on, as he was about to check, he saw that Luz Noceda was standing in front of him.
It made him jump in fright, but not for long. She punched Jacob in the face so hard that caused him to fall down and break through the glass door. Jacob tumbled to the floor hardly, he groaned in pain with pieces of glass lying down the floor. Luz strolled through the broken glass door, wielding the bloody piece of the broken mirror, then she grabbed Jacob by the shirt and lifted him up. "Holy shit! Luz, what are you doing?!" yelled Jacob. Luz looked at Jacob with the darkened eye holes of the mask, and she lifted the window piece in the air. "Oh Fuck! No, please! You shouldn't do this!" begged Jacob, but Luz couldn't take mercy from the security guard. Luz started stabbing him on the chest, neck, stomach, back and shoulders, along with Jacob screaming in pure torment. She kept stabbing him brutally and ending Jacob with a huge stab right through the mouth. Jacob gurgles with blood coming out of his mouth, which the stab kills him off. Luz lets him go and Jacob falls down, laying dead on the floor. Debbie is also dead, with all the blood lost from her body. Luz looked at the two dead bodies, tilting her head to the left, which shows she was impressed by what she did. Even though her soul has turned cold and evil. Luz sees some keys inside the pocket of Jacob. So, she picked up the keys and walked away from the scene.
Later, a bald inmate with a pair of sharp teeth was sitting in the corner of the room and tore out a pillow with his teeth. He looked like a total savage, wanton vandalism, slaughtering innocents. A screaming face was drawn on the pillow, and whenever the inmate saw it, he would laugh wildly in glee. As the resident continued to tear the pillow, he heard a click and the door swung open. The inmate saw that it was Luz who opened the door. The bald inmate looks confused and tilts his head to the right. Luz looked at him for a few seconds, then she walked away, still bewildered, the bald inmate got up to leave the room. It cuts to the hallway, where the inmates are out of their rooms and wander around. Luz walks to another door and unlocks it. She opens the door and sees an inmate with frizzy hair and scars on his arms. He was sitting in bed, hugging his legs. He turned his head to the left, only to see Luz standing behind the door, and she walked away. The frizzy hair inmate got out of bed and slowly walked out of his room. He peeked his head out of the door and looked at the hallway with the inmates roaming around. So, he got out of the room and started wandering around too.
Luz kept walking to the doors and letting the sanitarium inmates roam around. As she kept releasing the inmates, a nurse walked by and noticed that the inmates were out of their rooms. The nurse screamed loudly, which caught Luz and the inmates' attention towards her. The nurse ran to an alarm and was about to pull it, but the bald inmate grabbed her hand. He had a menacing looking smile on his face. The nurse turned her head to the bald inmate and he started attacking her. He bit the nurse right in the neck, with crimson liquid dripping from his sharp teeth. The nurse was wheezing with a horrified look on her face. Some of the inmates start laughing maniacally and some in fright. Luz was looking at the scene, and she tilted her head to the right. The bald inmate started ripping out a huge chunk of the nurse's neck, and she started to spray blood uncontrollably. Some of the inmates started yelling and laughing, uncontrollably, pleased by the murder. Luz turned around and walked away.
It cuts to the exterior of the sanitarium, with Luz walking to a glass door. She took out a key and started to open the door. Alarms started to go off, but Luz managed to open the door and leave the sanitarium. The night was cold, and as Luz walked further and further away, her breath could be seen in the freezing air behind the mask. Moments later, Luz disappeared into the shadows, never to be seen again.
Inmates on the loose
In the middle of the road on a rainy night, Camila drives with Dr. Shatner sitting in the front seat of her car. Camila kept driving her car, and she had a worried look on her face. Camila looks at the same picture on the darkened mirror from before and she sighed. As she continues driving, Dr. Shatner looks at Camila. He looked at the picture where Camila was looking at, and he turned back to her. "Are you worried about your daughter, Mrs. Noceda?" asked Dr. Shatner. Camila kept driving and she started to respond to Dr. Shatner's question. "Yeah. I am worried about Luz." responded Camila. "Ever since Luz came back home, she has become a different person. After that incident in the school, Luz looked angry and sad at the same time. I have never seen her like this." Dr. Shatner looked at Camila. "I don't know how to help her with this situation she's already having," said Camila. Dr. Shatner looks at the road. "People can change, Mrs. Noceda. From the events that lighten or traumatize them." said Dr. Shatner. Camila nodded and she was still driving. "Has she ever been bullied before?" asked Dr. Shatner. "In school, Luz has been bullied a lot of times." responded Camila. "Oh, I see," said Dr. Shatner.
Camila kept driving down the road, and she spotted the Gravesfield sanitarium nearby. "We're almost there." said Camila. Dr. Shatner sees the sanitarium. And he turned back to Camila. "Everything will be fine, Mrs. Noceda. Luz is already in good hands. No matter what happens, I'll inform you." said Dr. Shatner. Camila lets out a little sigh and she smiles. "Yeah, I know. And I hope that she will-" as Camila tried to finish her sentence, Dr. Shatner stopped her. "Look out!" yelled Camila. Camila sees something on the road, she gasps and stops the car. As Camila stopped the car in force, it's because there are inmates all around the road. They're all in front of the sanitarium with a few other inmates inside. Camila and Dr. Shatner were shocked to see the scene. Dr. Shatner sees someone, which it's the bald inmate, with blood on his mouth, in front of the car.
"Harold?" said Dr. Shatner. Harold started laughing maniacally, which made Camilla a little uneasy. "Uhhh, what's happening?" asked Camila. Camila and Dr. Shatner that all the inmates are out of the sanitarium and roaming around. Dr. Shatner looks at the inmates, with a confused look on his face. "I don't know. Something's wrong." said Dr. Shatner. He turned his head to the right, only to spot a telephone booth. He took a deep breath. "Wait here, Mrs. Noceda." said Dr. Shatner, warning Camila to stay inside the car. He opened the door and carefully slowly walked towards the telephone booth. The inmates were looking at him, with those sinister looking faces and those depraved expressions. Dr. Shatner did manage to reach the telephone booth. He pulled out a card that had Jacob's phone number written on it and he started calling it. Camila is still uneasy but she started to think that Luz could be injured, which made her extremely worried. Camila gets out of the car and starts running towards the sanitarium. Dr. Shatner noticed her running. "Mrs. Noceda!" yelled Dr. Shatner. Camila ran to the sanitarium, she noticed that there's some dead bodies on the floor and a few windows were shattered. Camila gasped in shock and started shouting Luz's name. "Luz!!" shouted Camila. She couldn't hear anything, there was pure silence along with the October breeze howling. So, she kept shouting Luz's name to see if Luz could answer. The inmates are staring at Camila with those emotionless and psychotic faces. Even Dr. Shatner looked at Camila with a worried look on his face. Harold noticed that everyone was looking at Camila calling for Luz, he smiled like a psycho killer and walked into the shadows, like what Luz did. Dr. Shatner was oblivious that Harold left, that is until he spotted something behind a shattered window. He saw the same glyph from behind on the wall inside Luz's room with the shattered window. It made Dr. Shatner realized that Luz had escaped from the sanitarium. "Oh dear god, no." said Dr. Shatner with shock and disbelief on his face.
