Chapter 30

The next day, Bill and Georgie woke up and got ready for the sewers. They put on their clothes, put on some water boots, and got the flashlights and walkie-talkies. Both boys ate their breakfast, then headed for the door.

"Bye mom, bye dad!" Georgie shouted.

"Bye Georgie, bye Bill!" Bill and Georgie's father yelled.

"Hold on, where are you two going?" Bill and Georgie's mother asked.

Bill and Georgie were barely out of the house when they stopped. They turned around, while keeping a calm composure.

"We're h-h-heading towards the river at the k-k-kissing br-bridge, in the sh-sh-shallow ar-ar-area." Bill explained.

"Oh, well be back before dinner, alright?" Bill and Georgie's mother spoke.

"Alright, bye mom!" Georgie said.

"Bye boys, have a good time!" Bill and Georgie's mother shouted.

"We will. Bye mom!" Bill said.

Bill and Georgie ran out of the house and got on their bikes. They rode down the street and turned through various streets and neighborhoods, until the walkie-talkie started to static.

"Bill, Bill do you copy?" Beverly asked.

Bill and Georgie stopped at a stop sign and Bill took out the walkie-talkie.

"Yeah, I c-c-copy." He spoke.

"How far are you and Georgie?" Beverly asked.

"We're not too f-f-far fr-from here. Just a c-c-couple of st-streets away." Bill said.

"Alright, me, Stanley, Eddie, and Ben are on our way." Beverly spoke.

"Alright. Hey, have you g-g-guys s-seen Ale?" Bill asked.

"No, we haven't seen her." Beverly said.

"Alright, we're on our way." Bill said.

He and Georgie continued bicycling down the street. They passed a few neighborhoods, until they reached a neighborhood that was near the road to the sewers. Bill and Georgie managed to catch up with Beverly, Ben, Stanley and Eddie and they all rode together towards the sewers, but stopped when they saw Bower's car up ahead; than they saw a bike on the side grass.

"Isn't that Mike's bike?" Georgie asked.

"Yeah that's Mike's bike." Eddie spoke.

The group saw Bower's beat up car and Mike's bike next to it and put two and two together. They must've heard about Patrick's death and decided to target the loser's club for answers or for retribution.

"Shit" Stanley murmured.

"Come on, we need to help him." Beverly spoke.

The group got off their bikes and ran into the trees. The area up ahead was a shallow river, with a small sized hill, surrounded by rocks, trees, reeds, and bushes. Meanwhile, Mike was having his face pushed into the raw meat he was meant to deliver to the local butcher, until Bower's and his gang stopped him and ambushed him. They dragged him over to the river and were probably looking for retribution. It was clear that they knew that Patrick was dead and they figured that Richie was the one that killed him. Since they couldn't find Richie, they decided to attack one of the other members of the Loser's club and probably do worse than beat him up. Bowers had his foot on Mike's head and was pressing on him hard, while Mike was trying to resist it. Mike was barely touching the wet, slimy meat.

"Eat that meat!" Bowers shouted.

"Eat it bitch!" Belch shouted.

"You little fucker!" Victor taunted.

"Bitch!" Belch laughed.

"Motherfucker!" Bowers screamed.

"Eat it, you little bitch!" Belch screamed.

"Pussy!" Victor taunted.

"Fucking…" Henry begin.

Mike was slowly getting up, when from a distance, he saw Richie hiding behind a few reeds and bushes. Mike couldn't believe it, but than again, Richie did save Ben from Bowers at the kissing bridge

"Whatcha going to do, huh?" Belch taunted.

"Get up!" Henry screamed.

Mike was in the process of getting up, when he saw the blood on Richie's shirt and was reminded of the fact that Richie killed Patrick, because of Pennywise. Pennywise saw Mike's horror and taunted him with a sinister smile.

"Get the fuck up!" Belch screamed.

He kicked Mike in the face hard, just as he was getting up. Bowers pushed him onto the hard, rocky ground and got on top of him. Mike tried to push Bowers off, but Bowers grabbed his hands and pinned them down. However, Bowers had to grab one of the rocks, so he let go one of Mike's hands, in order to get a large rock. Mike was pushing Bowers with all the strength he had with one hand, but Bowers was older and stronger than Mike, so it was basically useless. Bowers held the rock in his hand and raised it to smack Mike with it. Mike could see the murderous eyes and hatred in Bowers.

"You little fucker!" Victor taunted.

"Come on, Henry, smack him!" Belch encouraged.

"You little bitch!" Victor taunted.

Suddenly, a rock came out of nowhere and hit Bower's head, causing him to get off Mike and his head suffering a nasty cut. The Bower's gang were caught off guard by this and looked to see that Beverly was the one that threw the rock. Bill, Georgie, Ben, Eddie, and Stanley caught up with her.

"Nice throw." Stanley commented.

"Thanks." Beverly spoke.

Victor and Belch helped Bowers to his feet. Mike got away from the Bower's gang and manage to crawl past the river and climb through a small rock pile. Bill and Beverly helped Mike up, while everyone else kept their eyes on the Bower's gang.

"You losers are trying too hard, she'll do you. You just got to ask nicely, like I did." Bowers taunted.

Victor and Belch just smirked. The Loser's club glared at the Bowers gang, it was clear that the insult was meant for Beverly. Ben screamed enraged, he grabbed a rock and was about to throw it.

"Well, well, if it isn't the Bower's gang." A mean voice spoke.

Everyone looked and saw Ale behind the Bower's gang, smirking. The loser's club were surprised to see her, considering that they hadn't seen her since yesterday.

"You're not going to get anywhere by attacking Mike. After all, Patrick didn't stand a chance." Ale smiled.

"You little bitch." Bowers spoke.

Bill knew Ale was distracting Bowers and his gang and looked at Mike.

"A-A-Are y-you alright?" Bill asked comforting.

"Yeah Mike, are you okay?" Eddie asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm okay." Mike said, panting.

"Mike, what happened?" Stanley asked.

"It was Bowers. He blocked his car on the road, while I was delivering meat from my grandpa's farm. He and his buddies came out and dragged me to the river. I think they were going to kill me, Bill, because of…Richie, oh god, Richie!" Mike explained.

"Bill!" Ale called out.

Everyone looked at her.

"Richie was just here, you better get to him before he gets away." Ale warned.

"Right, c-c-come on, let's g-go" Bill spoke.

The loser's club ran off.

"Hey, get back here freaks!" Bowers demanded.

He turned at Ale enraged, and so did Victor and Belch.

"This isn't over, Ale. You little bitch, this isn't over!" Bowers screamed.

"You're right, Bowers. This is far from over." Ale smiled.

As soon as she said that, her eyes turned black with white pupils. When the Loser's club were far away from the Bower's gang, only Georgie could hear the unfamiliar screech and barely see the Bower's gang running out of the field and ran towards the car. Georgie was confused, but he didn't have time to ask questions. Ale caught up with the loser's club and stopped in an area surrounded by tall grass. Everyone stopped to take a breath. Mike looked and saw a trail of footprints.

"Look." He spoke.

Everyone looked and saw a trail of footprints, but there were other trails surrounding them and there were footprints.

"He could've went through any one of these." Beverly pointed out.

"So what do we do? Do we split up?" Eddie asked.

"Yes, but we split up in p-p-pairs. Me, Stanley, and E-E-Eddie will go th-th-that w-way. Beverly and Ben w-will go th-th-that w-w-way. Georgie, you, Mike, and Ale will g-g-go th-that way, alright?" Bill instructed.

"Got it." Georgie spoke.

"Good, now does everyone have a w-w-walkie-t-talkie?" Bill asked.

"Yes, I do." Georgie said.

"I do too." Beverly said.

"Yeah, we all do." Stanley said.

Everyone took out their walkie-talkies and turned them on.

"Al-Al-Alright, we'll meet b-back h-h-here if we c-c-can't f-find him, alright?" Bill instructed.

"Got it." Georgie said.

"Good, now let's go." Bill said.

Everyone split up and went to different directions. Bill, Georgie, and everyone else could only hope that they would find Richie before he got to one of them or before he did something worse.
