Coming up to the Plantar household, Ginger knocked in the door to enact her plan. Behind her was a basket of breadsticks, rubbing her stubby hands together as she reread the plan to herself. 'Alright Ginge, once you find Sprig and give him the bread. Sneak one drop of the potion right before he eats a breadstick, just enough for him to get the motivation to drop that reckless rube Ivy... and be with his true love. Our sister.'

Ginger and her other pollywog sisters were finishing up the potion, "Now to add the final ingredient." Ginger said as she drop a single hair from Maddie into the cauldron. The pollywogs watched as the serum turned from green to a shiny pink, before simmering to a clear purple.

Lavender looked in the book, "Alright, according to this book the potion must be inges... ingeste... eaten to take affect. The larger the amount of the potion consumed the more extreme the effects, it's also really addictive."

"Alright, I'll slip the potion into a basket of Flour breadsticks. That should make him think it's from Maddie" Ginger stated.

Rosemary then grabs a tube and scoops in the love potion, careful not to get any on her stump. "There you go." she hands Ginger the potion.

"Great, this is just what we need to help our dear sister." Ginger then heard a humming, "Oh no, it's Maddie! Quick, destroy the evidence!" The three pollywogs then dumped the potion onto the ground, where it seeped into the ground. The three stood in front of the caulron as Maddie came walking in with a few items and saw them.

"What are you three up to?" Maddie questioned.

The triplets sweated, "Nothing/why would you ask that/talking about rocks!" they said simultaneously.

Maddie peered at them, "Oh well." she shrugged before going past them, "I got to work on this new potion for Polly, she wants to know if she can turn invisible. I'm not sure if I have a potion for that, I'll play with you guys when I get done." she looks into the spell book.

"Kay sis bye/we love you/don't wait up!" the sisters ran out of the room leaving three dust trails.

Maddie then looked into the book and found that it was opened at a certain page, "Hmmmmm, why would they leave it at love potion number 6?" she flipped the pages to find an invisibility potion, "That one doesn't even work on people who already have strong feelings for the person you use the DNA for." she then found the page and smiled as she read the formula for invisibility.

Ginger then knocked on the door, adding a drop to each of the 5 breadsticks in the basket just to be safe. Before the door opened, she made a break for it. The door opened to reveal Sprig, who looked around "Gosh dang it, hate it when people knock and dash." he then goes to head back in before he saw the breadbasket. "Oh." He picked it up and examined it, "I wasn't expecting a delivery today." He sees a note attached and reads it.

'To the most courageous and kindest frog I ever met, who placed a hex on me I could only dream to get.

xoxo, Maddie'

Sprig softly chuckled, "Sigh, oh Maddie." He walks back inside and hearing a loud sneeze.

"SPRIG! I NEED SOME JUICE!"

"Coming Polly!" Sprig placed the basket down on in a hidden compartment in case it gets stolen, before running to fetch his sister some juice.

Back outside Ginger pumps her stump, "Yes, now to wait and let the effects kick in."

The following day Maddie exited her home with a backpack full of supplies, with her stand closed for the weekend and her sisters helping their dad at the bakery she had plenty of time to make a supply run for her potions and hexes. "Alright lets see if I got everything." Maddie looks inside her bag, "Snacks, mushroom lights, tongs to safely remove poisonous objects, curses for self-defense, and a sleeping bag in case I need to make camp in the middle of the night."

"Hey Maddie."

Maddie yelped as she leaped and saw Sprig standing beside her, "Oh Sprig, hey. What brings you here at this hour?" Maddie clenched her backpack straps as she saw his opened jacket to show his exposed torso and bandaged wrapped ribs.

"You said you needed help with a supply run." Sprig pulled out a purple note, which confused Maddie as she didn't remember ever writing anything to him. At least anything she actually sent to him, "I mean I thought it was weird since you prefer to do these kinds of things in person, but I still thought I could help you. Ivy's helping her mother at her tea shop, which is super busy this week. And it would be nice to hang out with you again."

Maddie looked away to hide her blush, thinking to herself that perhaps her sisters were pulling something even after she told them not to. But she knows these runs aren't exactly safe as the particular ingredients for the potions weren't easily accessible and have left some minor injuries to her person. Even then she doesn't make it completely unscathed, plus it would mean she spent a couple hours with Sprig. Which was totally cool with her, she turned back to Sprig with her blush now gone "Well, um. Thanks for coming, lets go." Maddie went on to her adventure, with Sprig hopping along beside her.

From inside the house the triplets high fived, "Yes!"

"Now to let nature take its course." Ginger said as they went over to the bakery side of the Flour residence.

Rosemary questioned, "Shouldn't we check on them to make sure?"

"Rosie, we've seen enough plays and movies to know that the more we meddle the more things go south." Ginger said, "Besides, they can handle themselves in the woods. The potion will take care of everything, we've pretty much done our part."

Lavender rubbed her stubs together, "I don't know."
