Hey everyone! This chapter will focus on the JP survivors' plane crash. I will still be following the same relative storyline with Billy ending up on Hershel's farm, it will obviously play out a little different though with how he got there. Enjoy!

Dr. Grant's head was spinning. One minute he remembered being in the air, and the next they had crashed into the forest. He tried to shake himself out of it, but he had hit his head pretty hard. It wasn't until he smelled smoke and saw fire that he heard Billy's voice calling to him.

"Alan!" He yelled. "Are you alright?" Dr. Grant took a second to collect himself.

"I'm alright. My head got a knock but I'm alright otherwise. What about Dr. Harding and Nima?" He asked.

"I'm fine, but Nima's leg is pinned!" Gerry said. He had a gash on his arm and it was bleeding pretty bad.

"Gerry. Your arm! Are you sure—"

"I'm fine! Help me get this chair off of Nima!" Harding cut Billy off. Billy nodded as he and Grant got up to help Nima. All around them they could hear crying and screaming from the other survivors. Dr. Grant also saw several lifeless bodies throughout the plane. All three men grabbed onto the chair that was crushing Nima's leg. She let out a cry of pain as they tried to lift it off of her.

"It's no good. We need something for leverage!" Gerry said, holding Nima in his arms. Billy frantically looked around for something he could use. There was a stiff piece of rebar attached to one of the broken chairs. He was about to go and grab it, when he watched as one of the dead bodies got up and started walking towards him, snarling.

"Wha—what the hell?" Gerry said, looking on.

"Sir! Are you ok?" Billy asked the dead body walking to him. There was no answer. Suddenly, the man lunged at him trying to bite him, but Billy shoved him back on to the ground. Two more corpses reanimated and started biting and killing other survivors of the crash.

"Oh my god. We need to get out of here!" Grant said, trying to lift chair again.

"What the hell are those things?!" Nima grunted in pain.

"I don't know, but we aren't gonna stick around here long enough to find out. Billy! We need a hand over here!" Gerry called.

"Working on it!" Billy said, finally ripping the rebar off the chair. He stuck it between the chair and the floor and was ready to push.

"When I say three, I'll pry the chair off and you two pull her out! Ready? One, two…Three!" Billy pushed as hard as he could and the chair budged just enough to get Nima out. She winced in pain as her leg came out from under the chair. It was broken pretty bad.

"Alright. Let's go!" Gerry said.

"Where?!" Billy called, looking around. There were more walking corpses now.

"Any—anywhere is better than here," Nima said through her pain. The group frantically looked for a direction to run when Grant spotted the woods.

"There! We'll make a break for it, run to the road, and find a car. We need to get Nima to a hospital!" Everyone nodded as they ran for the forest. When they got outside of the plane, there were far more walkers than they had realized. Billy started whacking them in the head as Grant and Gerry helped Nima walk. Soon, it looked they were going to get overrun.

"J-just leave me here. I'm slowing you down," Nima said weakly. Gerry shook his head emphatically.

"No. We're in this together. We're gonna get you some help!" Grant nodded. Billy was still hitting the walkers with the rebar. Whenever he stopped, he noticed the walkers advance faster on Nima, Grant and Harding.

"You guys need to go. I'll hold them off," he said.

"What? No! Billy, we aren't leaving you!" Grant said. Harding and Nima agreed.

"Look, I'm the only one with a weapon against…whatever these things are. You aren't gonna make it unless someone distracts them. Besides, I'm a fast runner. Once you guys get clear, I'll meet you on the road," Billy said, looking at the advancing walkers from the plane crash. Grant and Gerry just looked at each other reluctantly. Grant handed Billy an emergency flare gun he found on the plane, and hugged Billy.

"If you get into to trouble, fire this off and we'll come find you. Or somebody else will. There's only three flares in there. Be careful, Billy,"

"I will. I'll see you guys soon. I promise," Billy said.

"We better see you again," said Nima.

"You will. Now go!" Billy rushed Grant, Harding and Nima into the woods as he bashed more walkers' heads in with the rebar. Once he saw that his friends were safe, Billy tried to make a break for it in their direction, but found that walkers had quickly overrun his position. He looked for a break in the cluster of walkers, and finally found one. But it was in the opposite direction that the others had run to. Seeing as he had no other options, Billy fired a flare to distract the walkers long enough for him to run. Billy booked it into the forest, running out of steam, and on his own. Little did he know, the dead were not the only things in this forest…

End.

The next part of Billy's story will have a similar plot to the original iteration (meeting Beth and Maggie, going to the farm, etc.) so stay tuned!
