Within the town of Gravesfield, Camilia was showing Eddie around one of her side jobs. This was The Food, Emergency, Aid, Shelter and Training Center or FEAST Center for short. Thanks to her, Eddie was able to get a job at The Center and it did pay well too. "Thanks for this, Camilia. I have been job searching for a long while with no success…" Brock bitterly admitted as he groaned at the idea.
"It's no problem, Eddie. I do respect you due to your career as a reporter, though on that note. I found out the full story behind what led to the collapse of your career due to a co-worker of mine at the hospital." The Nurse announced as she turned to the ex-reporter with a stern glare. "You went behind your girlfriend's back to obtain that Pharmaceutical Information against White Star for your Interview?" She questioned with a scolding tone of disbelief.
Eddie was stunned that she learned of this and couldn't help but ask; "Who told you again?" This was greeted with an annoyed sigh from Camilia as she rubbed the bridge of her nose and removed her glasses.
"Annie's new boyfriend and friend of mine, Doctor Dan Lewis. Brock… Are you seriously gonna focus on that detail moron?" She questioned as Eddie looked away from her with an ashamed look as he cleared his throat a bit.
"I sometimes do stuff without any thoughts…" Eddie lamented nervously as Camilia rolled her eyes.
"Apparently, that is a theme for you…" She remarked as she continued going over what Eddie would be doing at The Homeless Center. Her mind came up with all sorts of odd, and out of the box ideas, but none added up to what she already knew about him.
Camilia then noticed two guests were talking with one of the residents of the FEAST Center. She didn't know why, but the elderly man felt very familiar. The Elder Man wore an unique set of sunglasses and a classy set of clothing. The two asking questions were a stern military woman with blonde hair, which was made clear through her posture and demeanor, and a man who seemed a spunky fellow. Camilia walked over to greet them with a welcoming smile as they went over formalities between them. "May I help you two?" She asked before the elderly man interrupted them.
"Say, have any of that wheat cake around? You make a killer cake, like May Parker back in New York. I would go into more, but I think that's nuff said about your cooking Ms Noceda." The Man complemented with a chuckle.
This did Roy to perk up to this, "Wheat Cake? Haven't had something like that before. Wouldn't mind giving your cooking a taste." He announced with a smile.
This led Riza to let out a small laugh as she added on; "That's because you have a very small palette of foods you like. Heck, I remember that time when I saw you refuse to eat broccoli and claim to have a stomach issue." This caused everyone, but Roy laughed aloud to his dismay.
"What the Hell, Hawkeye!?" Roy questioned with a flustered blush. Riza though ignored this as she pulled out a small and colorful flash drive from her pocket. "We were wondering who this belonged to. This was found within one of White Star's Research Labs and we are concerned that the owner of this took an extremely valuable piece of equipment from the lab." She stated aloud as Camilia recognized the flash drive.
'Why did Vee break into the Research Labs of the company?' She questioned while taking the flash drive from Riza. "So… What was taken, if I may ask." Camilia wondered as she slipped the drive into her pocket slowly, her mind to focused on the answer for her question.
Roy shook his head at this request before he elaborated; "That is classified, but we can tell you that it is something that cannot be left out in the open for long." He explained with a serious tone, "Do you know who that belongs to?" He asked as Camilia poundered how she should answer.
Elsewhere, Marcus was hanging with Azula and Vee at a park close to The Homeless Center. Though, he clearly didn't feel well and he hasn't been able to shake it off since the incident at the company building. "Are you doing ok? You look like you're sick or something." Vee asked with a raised eyebrow.
Azula nodded in agreement before a rock was thrown at Vee's head, yet Marcus was quick to catch it before it could hit her. As if on reflex, he then turned towards the infamous Amber and her goons. 'Who the Hell is that bitch? Perhaps we can eat her brains to teach her a lesson.' Announced a voice in Marcus' head as he was utterly appalled by this chaotic thought. 'Why would I Do That!? That is disgusting!' Marcus replied as he grew green on his face. 'I Am Hungry, Pussy!' The Voice shouted back.
Amber walked over with another rock in her hand, tossing it into the air within her hand. "So, who's the parasite that is a part of your crew?" Though, as if setting off a bomb, Marcus, as well as the voice within, shouted in rage; "Parasite!? I'll Teach You, Infernal Brat!" Though, he was greeted with a heavy knee into the groin. Putting Marcus down for the count as both Vee and Azula glared at the blonde teen.
"Don't you have anything better to do? Or is your life so empty that you need to pick on others to feel better about yourself?" Vee questioned as she stood up, against her subconscious fears through Luz's memories. Yet, she was somewhat shaking despite this. Amber was definitely taken back by this since Luz was often too timid to retaliate against her.
Though it didn't sway Amber from her current antic as she smirked. "This is a surprise, Luz. When did you grow some boldness, hm?" She questioned while pushing her down. "To be honest, I am oddly glad that you are willing to fight back for once." Amber declared as she leaned downward, placing her smug face into Vee's. Azula was about to get between them yet Vee gestured for her to let her deal with this. Though, once she did get up, Amber performed a martial arts kick to ensure that Vee stayed down.
As Vee held onto her stomach due to the pain, Amber laughed aloud at this. "I have been training under a Martial Arts master as well, Luz. Your master's old rival too, Master Tao Pai." She remarked as Vee looked at the bully with a venomous glare. This definitely changed things a bit since Tao was believed to be a very dangerous Martial Artist compared to the old hermit.
Azula was definitely a bit enraged by this as she got up with her ghostly aura radiating from her body. "You are really an asshole, Amber. What the Hell is your problem!?" The Goth Girl questioned before Amber turned to her.
Amber tried her best to not let her sadness and grief show, but there was little success at this. "You should know about how dangerous this Freak Is! She had destroyed my older brother's body due to her unnatural powers!" She declared with an enraged tone. This sparked a memory within Vee's Mind due to her form as Luz as she saw sirens screaming out, a medical team rushing through the destruction of a partially destroyed building, and the image of a young adult being carried into the ambulance. Yet, he seemed almost lifeless as his body laid limb on the transport bed the ER Team had him upon before they took off.
