"We seriously have no idea where Coulson and his team were teleported to? Even with all the technology at our disposal? I find that a bit hard to believe, Agent Alisande?" The Director of SHIELD announced with his arms crossed while looking over the data that both Agent Hill and Alisande Boonchuay had presented to him.
Though, Agent Boonchuay was a bit annoyed by this as she, of all people, would be doing their best to locate Coulson and his team. After all, Her daughter Anne was among the team and she couldn't just simply stand by without doing something to help with the search. "I assure you, Fury… We have been analyzing what happened with the AIM Facility, but we simply have no leads on where the energy surge sent them." Alisande stated with a dreaded tone which made Fury sigh in a bit of guilt. "It was just a miracle that we figured out the blast didn't destroy them." She added on while reviewing the video photogate that they obtained of the event. Before displaying an energy pattern that mimicked when The Witch Woman's Portal was ever used.
"We do know that when someone travels between Earth and Argenta, a unique energy frequency is given off to connect our two worlds. Once these frequencies are linked, the Portal opens and allows for them to travel here or return to Argenta." Maria Hill explained further before displaying the Frequency of the warping with AIM. "Yet when we look at the Frequency that was caused by whatever happened at AIM. It is completely different from Argenta's Frequency." Hill explained further as the Frequencies between Argenta and the new world were completely different from each other.
Fury groaned in frustration as he saw the data before he finished off, "Which means the team was transported to a different world entirely…" The Director then thought over what would be the best course of action for them as a newcomer entered the room. Fury turned to the person and smiled at his arrival. "Grandmaster Kuai Liang. Glad to see that you managed to make the trip to our Helicarrier safely." The Director announced as he shook hands with Cryo Inhuman Ninja.
Kuai Liang smiled as he remarked, "It could have been a smoother ride on your Quinjet. The chosen Pilot definitely needs more training." Once they broke their handshake, Sub-Zero turned serious as he wasn't called over just an average meetup with SHIELD. "Now Speaking of Training, I heard that you have new recruits for me?" Questioned The Grandmaster as Fury gestured for Agent Boonchuay to pull up files regarding the new recruits. Kuai Liang saw images of Vee, Azula, Marcus, and Amber. "Interest patch of recruits, Director Fury. Though, this Vee girl. It stated here she is a Basilisk correct?" Sub-Zero questioned as Fury nodded to confirm this information. "Guessing you want me to make a team with the others you plan to send my way as well? Some of your other candidates for this Avengers Initiative Program are… 'Unique'." He lamented while recalling the others. These other candidates were Scott Lang, a teen thief who was chosen by Hank Pym to take his place as the Hero Ant-Man. The daughter of a retired SHIELD Agent Jackson Briggs, Jacqui Briggs, was a rising Agent among the ranks as well. Hanzo has sent over one of his Shirai Ryu Trainees known as Tadeka who had incredible Telepathic Powers thanks to his father, Kenshi. The final member was a mystical and quite hot-headed archer named Kung Jin. Kuai Liang knew this bundle of chaotic personalities wasn't gonna be easy to work with. Though, it wasn't the hardest challenge he had confronted.
Fury chuckled at this as he gave a sly smirk to the Lin Kuei Grandmaster. "Don't think you can handle it, Grandmaster? Maybe I should choose someone else if you can't manage this." Director Fury joked as Kuai Liang rolled his eyes at the jab.
"I never said I could not handle the task you have given me, Director Fury. I can manage this as long as you permit me to use my own methods to do so." Sub-Zero declared with narrowed eyes as Fury was quick to accept these terms as both Maria and Alisande were a bit concerned by this decision since Sub-Zero was quite a tough teacher for his members of The Lin Kuei with training.
"Well… I should inform the guardians of the teens about what is gonna happen soon. It would be best to have their approval first before we continued." Agent Boonchuay announced as everyone agreed to this idea as she then headed off to find Camilia, Eddie, Sakamoto, the perverted Roshi, and the surprisingly famous Actor known as Johnny Cage.
She eventually reached the room where the adults were held as they waited for the update while Johnny was trying to promote his film, Ninja Mime, which didn't do well in the US. But it was a blockbuster hit in France, oddly. Though, most of the other adults were just annoyed by Johnny's antics more than anything. Camilia though hopped over to Agent Boonchuay, "So, what is going to happen?" Camilia asked nervously.
"Agreed… I mean, sure I hired some martial arts teacher for my girl Amber. Yet I don't exactly understand why SHIELD is getting involved with my daughter." Johnny asked with clear concern and confusion.
"SHIELD has a reason for each of their actions. I heard a lot about your organization and I would trust your Agency a lot more than White Star or AIM. So, why are you interested in our children?" The Yokai Princess asked with curiosity.
Alisande smiled at this claim from the Yokai woman since it says a lot since most Yokais were untrusting of humans due to their history with The Fallen Kingdom of Xerxes. "That is quite a reassuring claim from you Ms. Emiko. We're glad you view that out of SHIELD. It is our goal to help protect everyone from those who wish to harm others." Agent Boonchuay announced with gratitude as she bowed before The Yokai Princess. "Now onto important matters. SHIELD would like to ask your permission to help train your children on how to control and master their powers. My own Daughter has joined the program we are calling The Avengers Initiative, where we train potential heroes to create a team that takes a group of truly remarkable people. Guide them so they can become something more, to fight the battles we never could. That line is from the Director himself. Now, I can understand if you're hesitant about the idea and I do not blame you." The Agent explained before giving them a smile of absolute sincerity and reassurance, "I can personally promise you that we will take care of your children as we train them for this. I recommend that you talk it over for a bit. I can come back when you're ready." Alisande announced as Roshi gave out a hardy laugh by this.
"Your Director has an odd choice of words you know. It is also an interesting proposal too." The Old Hermit announced with a smirk, "I have to say the world is getting crazier by the day with everything going on. From other worlds, supernatural beings, highly advanced technology, and even more... Maybe we should take you up on that offer if you truly see that type of potential from the younglings." Roshi concluded with a voice filled with wisdom on the matter with no one being able to argue with The Master's logic overall. The World was indeed getting filled with more enhanced individuals by the day, even if this fact was barely noticeable with a select few actually getting to see this. This was enough for everyone to agree with Alisande's proposal as the Agent thanked them and once again reassured them that SHIELD would provide the best for the new team of heroes.
