Hi welcome back again to chapter 5!
Note! Kisshu and Taruto are their actual names in this fanfic, however I like the sound of them calling each other Kish or Tart as nicknames. And perhaps the other mews as well, however Pai, Zakuro, Shirogane and Keiichiro would always be the ones calling them their full names.
Pudding guided Taruto to the guest room in her house, which was surprisingly neat and clean, not all too big nor all too small. It was the same size as his bedroom on the ship so it was to Taruto's liking.
Taruto collapsed on his bed, what a day.
It was fun, actually. He didn't wanna admit how much fun he could have with the monkey mew, it was embarrassing for some reason, towards him it was. He's not in denial, that's for sure, he used to be but he can admit to himself that he somewhat has feelings for her inside of his head, but if anyone asks he'll deny immediately. His childish habits still stick with him sometimes, he has matured for these past 2 years that's for sure but that doesn't mean he still can't be a kid sometimes.
Like being bratty, sarcastic or throwing his world wide famous tantrums. They don't occur as much as before but they're still there. Taruto didn't like that he still had these habits BEFORE meeting Pudding again, but after seeing her again and seeing she did not change one bit, he felt a little bit more comfortable with the fact he still has his habits. But it's because of his habits that he can't admit to the fact that he likes Pudding more than just friends. And the monkey mew isn't making this easy either.
Pudding is friendly with everyone, she's hyper around everyone, will offer herself up for everyone, she doesn't treat him any differently as how it's supposed to be when you like someone, apparently. He overhead about this while being with his other friends at home, since they all Ofcourse had their own crushes, girls and boys from his home planet. Taruto Would usually listen along to the conversations that his friends were having about their crushes and how it all works, he just never joins the conversation.
Which Ofcourse, they found weird, a teenage boy and you still have no one you're crushing on? Not even a little bit? Absurd.
Taruto Ofcourse showed no interest in the girls of his home planet, which was again another hint for Kisshu that something else was going on. Because he did like someone by the way he was acting when Kisshu tries to tease him, but the girl in question wasn't present on their planet.
Pudding being amazingly friendly to everyone did not boost his confidence for the possibility that she likes him back. I mean sure she did invite him to live at her house until he goes back but she was like this even when they were enemies. Which frustrates the alien boy quite a bit. And again, she did kiss him when they left earth 2 years ago, but since arriving Pudding hasn't mentioned it even once. Maybe she forgot already, maybe it was just a spur of the moment.
Taruto was seriously brainstorming, thinking about this does not help him go to sleep faster.

BAM!
Taruto was awakened by a sudden loud noise. he shot his eyes open and sat up and looked at the clock, it was 7:15 am in the morning.
Taruto, being curious (and somewhat annoyed) of what the ruckus was about slowly made his way out of the room and down the stairs. The closer he came the louder the voices became, which was mostly Pudding being mad.
He found Pudding in the kitchen with her siblings, they were cleaning up pots and pans from the ground, he assumed her siblings let them fall because of the angry expression Pudding had on her face, which was again something new to him. She also was wearing some kind of sailor outfit while having her hair in a short ponytail.
Pudding noticed Taruto at the door way and her expression immediately changed from angry to worry "oh Pudding's sorry Taru Taru did we wake you up?!"
Taruto rolled his eyes "no monkey girl I like waking up at 7 in the morning" he says in a sarcastic tone
Pudding giggled at his comment "Pudding forgot to mention to Taru Taru that she won't be home until 4 pm Noda"
Taruto raised his eyebrow "what? Why? And why are you even up so early" Taruto was not a morning person.
"Pudding has school Noda, and so has her siblings!" She answered
"Is that why you're wearing that sailor outfit?" Taruto asks
Pudding snickered "yes, but it's Pudding's school uniform"
Taruto embarrassedly scratched his cheek "oh-"
Pudding's siblings were done cleaning and slowly packed up their bags and waited patiently at the door.
"Everyone's done Noda, so Pudding will see Taru Taru again in a few hours!" Pudding says as she continues to wave.
"A-Alright" Taruto commented
Pudding opened the door and her siblings screamed their goodbyes while they run into the front yard, Pudding looked back with a cheeky expression "don't forget Taru Taru, work today at Café Mew Mew Na no da!" She smiles.
Taruto's immediate reaction was a tired groan while Pudding laughed her way out of the house.
And Taruto's very first decision was teleporting back to his room to fall sleep again.
At least from being on vacation he didn't need to wake up so early.
Kisshu yawned his way into the kitchen. Pai was already there cooking (for himself) and looked back at him "morning Kisshu" He smiled
"Mornin" Kisshu says as he immediately starts the coffee machine. "What time is it Pai?"
"currently it is 11 in the morning" Pai responds, neatly pouring his cooked eggs into a bowl.
Kisshu looked around the room, but a certain deviled pigtailed midget wasn't around, which was strange because the guy was always already awake before 11 am in the morning. Kisshu poured his coffee into a mug and sat down at the table "Where's Tart? Is he still sleeping?"
Pai shook his head "You went to bed early yesterday so I couldn't pass the information to you but Taruto is staying at Pudding's residence while we enjoy our vacation here on earth" He says quietly stirring his tea.
Kisshu choked in his coffee "THE MIDGET GOT GAME?!" He yells
Pai rolled his eyes covering his ears "Quiet Kisshu, don't be so loud" "Oh sorry" Kisshu snickered.
Kisshu did a dramatic head turn and sighed "Part of me is really jealous that He's allowed to be so close to that monkey mew mew while Ichigo won't even look at me in the eye!" however his sigh turned into a devilish grin "Pai! I'm going to visit Taruto! I'll be back later!" He says teleporting out of the room.
Pai sighed "Don't cause a ruckus please"
Kisshu teleported outside of Pudding's house, or what he hoped was Pudding's house because he vaguely remembers it, but his theory was confirmed when he found a little sign in the garden that said "Fam. Huang" with a small monkey drawing beside it.
Kisshu went around the corner, instead of knocking the door he looked through the window, however he saw no Taruto nor any Pudding in sight. So he basically had no choice but to teleport inside, y'know like any normal person would.
"knocking is boring anyway" Kisshu grinned.
Kisshu knew about Taruto's little crush on the monkey mew, just like how he himself treated Ichigo different from the rest back then, he noticed Taruto did the same thing towards the yellow mew without Taruto himself noticing it at the time, especially when the young alien boy couldn't explain why the dome plan didn't work that one day, when they were letting chimera anima's digging under the ground. Taruto made up tons of lies of why the dome plan didn't work, which only let Pai off the Hook for just for a tiny bit, but Kisshu didn't believe his obvious little lies. Looking at the large blush he had plastered on his face at the time there's just no way the mew mews stopped him unwillingly. Then he REALLY started to notice when the monkey mew suddenly started calling him Taru Taru out of the blue and always launched herself forewards to him and started calling him her friend. Taruto's obvious blush when it happens also did not help him cover it.
However when Kisshu confronted Taruto about the matter all he had to say was "Pudding?! I- I HATE HER. SHES SO ANNOYING! AND I HOPE SHE DIES. STOP ASKING ME ALL THESE STUPID QUESTIONS ALREADY!" With again, a very noticeable blush. And what closed Kisshu's case entirely was when he found Taruto on the ship staring at Earth with a dumb expression, lost in his own mind. When Kisshu confronted him, Taruto was acting like he was doing something totally illegal. Which indirectly was true, falling in love with the enemy isn't what Kisshu planned himself, and Taruto was blindly following in his footsteps. And for certain he found Taruto's type very interesing.
And ever since leaving earth, Taruto's never showed any interest in any of his own friends or classmates and would keep those candy wrapping papers Pudding gave him like he was forming a shrine or something. Taruto was the complete opposite of him, he never admitted he missed or liked the monkey mew once even after the battle was over. But he did show it a little bit through his own actions. While Kisshu himself still told the both of them he missed Ichigo and wanted to see her again almost every day (which pissed both Taruto and Pai off)
And because of Taruto's stubbornness and embarrassment of liking the monkey mew Kisshu always had a BLAST teasing him about it and Taruto's not getting away with this one with suddenly staying at Pudding's house. How did Pudding even convince her parents to let him stay here?
Kisshu did some snooping around the house, it was surprisingly big for such a small girl. He came through a lot of photo's hung up on the wall of Pudding and the mew mews, just for Kisshu to just secretly take a picture of it to just crop out the rest of the mew mews and leave Ichigo on it for his own amusement. Kisshu then arrives in the kitchen, surprisingly neat too of how hyper the monkey mew actually is. But her parents probably take care of that.
Kisshu took a step foreward while tripping on something, leaving him on the ground creating a loud thud noise. He sat up and groaned in pain, seeing how he tripped on a small cooking pot "who leaves a pot on the ground?!" Kisshu yells out of confusion.
He then heard a teleporting sound, he turned around finding Taruto looking at him with an angry expression with his weapon ready in his hands before changing his expression entirely "Wha- Kish?!" He says surprised
Kisshu stood up "Tart don't leave cooking pots on the ground, people can trip on those" He grinned "treat your guest nicely"
Taruto rolled his eyes and his weapon vanished "I thought someone was breaking in, don't scare me like that idiot" He says annoyed
Kisshu snickered "Sorry sorry! Where's Purinring?" He asks
Taruto gave Kisshu an annoyed look and chose to ignore the weird nickname Kisshu just made up for her and sighed "Pudding is at school, and so are her siblings, it's only me here"
Kisshu blinked "oh that's right, the mew mews still have school! I totally forgot about that"
Taruto shrugged "Honestly me too"
Kisshu's expression suddenly changed to a sly smirk which worried Taruto a little "Awww, look at you. Pudding already trusts you with her house, you're such a good house husband Tart" he snickered
Kisshu's stupid remark was rewarded by Taruto getting flustered and his face's color changing in different shades of Red Kisshu didn't even know existed.
Kisshu covered his ears seeing how Taruto was going to blow up any second now "WHA-?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING KISSHU?! SHUT UP! WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE" Taruto yells
Kisshu puts on a satisfied look on his face "well I haven't eaten any breakfast yet and I was wondering if you'd like to-"
"Forget it I'm not making you any breakfast" Taruto sighs with annoyance in his voice "it should be the other way around since you're older dumbass"
"Oh no no I mean like, let's go out and have breakfast at some cafe, Tart" Kisshu grinned
Taruto raised his eyebrow in suspicion "is that REALLY what you want?"
Kisshu Nods excitedly "I already picked out my earth clothes!"
"What?! When?" Taruto says surprised
Kisshu winked "I got my methods"
Taruto rolled his eyes "alright, let's go then, you'll treat"
"Aw shit" Kisshu sighed and both aliens proceed to leave the house together.
Both of them are not really familiar with the area because they used to fly above the city, they never actually went inside the city. And it didn't take long for them to get lost.
Taruto grunts in annoyance "AWHHH WHY DOES EVERYTHING LOOK THE SAME?! HUMANS ARE WEIRD" he yelled which made people give them weird looks.
Kisshu sweat drops "Don't yell so hard dumbass" he whispers. They were surrounded by a lot of people who were shopping, hanging out or doing other stuff.
Kisshu looked around "Where are all the cafes?! Pai said that he's seen plenty. We need a map"
"And where do you plan to get that smartass?" Taruto says in a sarcastic tone
"Kisshu? Taruto? What are you doing here?"
Kisshu and Taruto looked to their side, a familiar Wolf Mew stared at them In confusion wondering what they are up to "I heard Someone scream who sounded a lot like Taruto, so I came to see what was happening. I didn't expect to actually find you here" Zakuro says.
She had a pair of pitch black sunglasses on with a big hat, probably to make sure people don't recognise her
Kisshu's face lights up "Would you look at that Tart, your famous tantrums DO help. They woke up the big bad wolf!"
Both Taruto and Zakuro glared at him. Kisshu grins "anyway, thank GOD you're here! We're lost you see. Me and Tart wanted to get some breakfast but we don't know where to go ourselves ehe..."
Zakuro sighs "Why don't you use the local map Shirogane gave you?" Zakuro's comment got rewarded with two dumb expressions "We received a map?"
Zakuro stared at the two alien boys with an annoyed expression.
Kisshu laughed nervously, the wolf mew mew was always very intimidating even if she didn't intend to be. He held out his fist in an awkward manner "Human fist bump?" Kisshu smiled with still a hint of nervousness. Taruto face palmed.
Zakuro glanced at Kisshu's fist with her sharp eyes and then proceeded to awkwardly return the gesture. "I'm here because of my work, but since I'm on break I don't mind leading you two to the nearest cafe" Zakuro says while putting on a soft smile
"WOOHOO!" Kisshu grinned "thanks" Taruto says
Zakuro leads the two aliens to a small cafe around the corner and proceeds to walk in, it has a small terrace with beautiful plants hanging from the ceiling with a small water fountain in the middle. It somehow reminded the two alien boys of their home planet.
"There" Zakuro says "You can choose several breakfast options, but beware they don't sell any breakfast options anymore after 12 pm"
Kisshu nods "Alright, thanks Wolfie-Chan! We would've still been lost if it weren't for you" Zakuro glanced at him "Call me Zakuro please, and it's no problem. Now then, I'll take my leave"
"what why?" Kisshu protested "Don't be so cold, You're here already why don't you join us?" He smiled cheekily
Taruto shrugs "I don't mind"
A small soft smile crept up on Zakuro's face "Alright"
The 3 proceed to order, Taruto chose the pancakes with sirup, Kisshu chose baked eggs with a sandwich while Zakuro chose a small chocolate muffin. "Thanks for your order!" The cashier smiles "It'll take a few minutes to ready the baked eggs and the pancakes, someone can wait over there and wait for your order to be done" She says pointing at the corner of the cafe
Taruto gripped Kisshu's hoodie "Kish, can you wait here?" He asks. Kisshu gave him a dirty look "what? They're also making your pancakes why should I wait for your order?" He snarls
"Calm down" Zakuro steps in "It's a good idea, Me and Taruto will find for a place outside for us to sit" she says signaling to Taruto to follow her. Taruto gave Kisshu a dirty smirk "rude" Kisshu says with an annoyed expression.
Zakuro and Taruto found a table in the corner with 3 chairs, perfect.
both of them sat down in awkwardness, Taruto's never been on a one on one talk with any other mew before, next to Pudding ofcourse. Zakuro sat in silence, which somehow made Taruto nervous, he felt like he had to start a conversation but then again he didn't know how to talk to her, Pudding usually talks to him first which makes it a million times easier to converse in a conversation, but Zakuro was the complete opposite. Plus she's always been very intimidating.
"so" Taruto says awkwardly "what work you do?"
The silence was so loud.
Zakuro looks at him and smiles "Model work mostly, but I also sing my own songs" she answers "Like an idol?" Taruto asks, Zakuro nods while taking a bite out of her mini muffin
"what about you? I know it's your first day here again but how does it feel to be back on the planet you tried to take over?" Zakuro says with a neutral expression.
Taruto half grinned, he didn't know if she was joking or not. He laughed awkwardly "I-It's been nice, I got these clothes with Pudding's help"
Zakuro looked at him in surprise "oh really" she commented dryly. Taruto awkwardly nodded.
Zakuro stared at him, which didn't help calming him down because of her sharp wolf eyes. Taruto tried to avoid eye contact but that didn't succeed either. "What's…. what is your relationship with Pudding anyway?" She finally asks
"huh" Taruto blinked his surprised expression changing in a mad blush "N-N-N-NO- I uh- I- I'M NOT in a relationship w-WITH PUDDING!" Taruto half yelled, raising his voice unintentially.
Zakuro looked at him in surprise and smiled softly "calm down, I didn't mean it like that, Pudding always talked about you when you left so I thought maybe you became friends after the whole Deep Blue thing"
Taruto looked at her in awe "Pudding talked about me?" Zakuro nodded "Taru Taru, her favourite person" Zakuro smiled.
Taruto stuttered, his face flushing in red again "S-Stupid Monkey girl doesn't know her boundaries" He grunts. He was somehow embarrassed. Pudding really does not have any shame.
"so you did become friends after the whole Deep Blue thing yes?" Zakuro asks. Taruto hesitantly nodded, Pudding already thought of him as her friend even during the fight. "Pudding already had a liking to me during the fight, which I still have no idea why, I was literally so mean to her" Taruto sighs "weird girl I guess"
"Hm" Zakuro answers "maybe it's cause you're the same age" She says. Taruto shrugged "I guess I can ask her later, I do stay at her house at the time being"
"Oh" Zakuro mischievously smiled while she put a hand on her mouth. Taruto blushed "N-NOT LIKE THAT Y'KNOW- S-She invited me! I had no c-choice but to say y-yes" He stuttered. "mhm" Zakuro hummed.
"I'm here!" Kisshu says excitedly "also Taruto stop yelling I literally heard you from inside of the cafe"
Taruto covered his face in embarrassment.
Kisshu put down his plate and Taruto's plate "Mannnn Tart your pancakes look so fluffy, can I take a bite?" He asks
Taruto stood up "do whatever you want, I'm going to the toilet" He says storming off.
Kisshu looked at Zakuro, she was silently nibbling on her muffin "What did you guys talk about?"
Zakuro grinned. Kisshu raised his eyebrow "Oh look at that you CAN smile"
Zakuro rolled her eyes "nothing important, however his liking to Pudding is certainly very obvious"
"ha" Kisshu smirked "tell me something I don't know"
End of this chapter! I don't see a lot of fics that let uncommon characters bond with each other, for example Zakuro and Taruto. But not only that, I'd like to let Kisshu and Lettuce for example or Pai and Pudding bond with each other because they're very uncommon, not as a ship ofcourse but since the aliens come back to visit the mews ofcourse they'd run into the others as well and I like to explore that. And I like the vision of Zakuro being an elder sister type.
