All right, and now, the climax to the story... of both past and future! Let's see how they all connect! Anyway, enjoy!

EIGHT YEARS AGO...

The Clock Monster, upon recovering from its fall upstairs was roaming around the halls once again, letting out some rather guttural sounds as it looked around for those two kids and their puppy... and those strange adults that had randomly appeared in the room. The creature narrowed its eyes as it looked around heavily for its prey... before marching forward.

"Rey! Rock Ronster!"

The monster turned its head to see "Mellow Mutt" standing at the center of the doorway. The pup simply waved and taunted him in a cartoony fashioned, before zooming off. The Clock Monster narrowed its eyes before resuming the chase.

Meanwhile, all the way near the far end of the hallway, both "Commander Cool" and "Gorgeous Gal" were standing on both sides of an empty room, each holding a tennis net as "Commander Cool" looked over towards his friend/"girlfriend". "I hope Mellow Mutt will do good in helping..."

"He will be." Daphne smiled as she turned towards Shaggy. "After all, you two are like thick and thin... and if I'm right..."

"He's on my rail!" Scooby shouted as he turned the corner and jumped over the net. Both Daphne and Shaggy peeked out as they saw the Clock Monster slowly coming their way, its eyes glowing red in anger as he let out a loud roar.

"NOW!" Daphne shouted as she and Shaggy held the net up.

Before the Clock Monster could notice the net, the creature slipped up by running over the net and falling down, getting tangled inside as flakes and feathers from the wings started to fall off. Not only that, but he had stepped on some butter that was laid out in the middle of the room as the creature gave a yelp.

Scooby, standing on the other end of the hallway, opened the door leading to another room as the monster fell inside, crashing right into the very machine that had been standing in the room. Both superheroes and puppy looked inside as they looked excited.

"It worked!" Shaggy grinned before turning to Daphne with a smile. "Gorgeous Gal, your brilliant plan has, once again, subdued the monster..."

"Rand rit's rot rover ret!" Scooby said as he pulled out some rope that happened to be next to him as he swung a lasso around before hurling it towards the monster and tightening the grip around the unconscious monster.

Daphne gave a smile as she casually walked over and examined the tied up monster, looking at the kids with pure, unadulterated hatred in their eyes. "I think it's safe to say that this case just wrapped itself up in a nice gift basket..."

EIGHT YEARS LATER...

The floating Ghost of Kilijoumango was running around, giving some spooky voices of his own before looking around angrily. He knew those pesky kids... and those two adults were around here somewhere. And now that he had put two and two together, he looked more determined to find those people more than ever... he growled in anger as he trudged forward.

"Hey! Creepy ghost guy!"

"Rome and ret us!"

The Ghost turned his head to see Shaggy and Scooby standing and waving them over. The Ghost of Kilijoumango snorted, before letting out a guttural ghost sound as it charged right at them. Shaggy and Scooby stood firm for a moment before the green wearing man nodded to the dog. Scooby nodded back, taking it as their cue to run. And run they did as they started to rush forward towards the area where Daphne was.

The purple wearing woman was standing at the concession stand herself as she was holding a hose that was attached to the butter machine as she heard footsteps running this way. She patiently waited until she saw Shaggy and Scooby run past her, with Shaggy saying, "Spring it, Daphne!"

Daphne didn't need to be told twice as she sprayed the floor with artificial butter flavor as she took a deep breath. "I hope this works..."

"I AM THE GHOOOOOOST OF KILIJOUMANGOOOOOOOO!"

Daphne quickly ducked under the concession stand as the Clock Monster ran forward, anger induced in his eyes... before stopping short as he noted the butter on the ground. Giving a sneer, he noticed the concession stand and noted a bit of orange hair peeking out. The Ghost gave a smirk as it lurked closer towards the stand, arm outstretched...

Daphne took a deep breath as she waited patiently... as she felt a shadow looming over her. Before she had time to react, the ghost grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and pulled her up from behind the stand, causing Daphne to let out a small scream. The monster sneered at her before giving a smirk.

"I knew it... you HAVE achieved it... those years a-"

"NOW!" Daphne shouted out loud.

The monster blinked twice as he looked at her in confusion, before hearing two slipping sounds. He directly turned his head to see both Shaggy and Scooby slipping right on the butter and heading towards...

KA-BONG!

...the very path he was on, Scooby knocking the Ghost of Kilijoumango off his feet and dropping Daphne. However, thanks to Shaggy's quick maneuvering of the butter, he used his arms to grab Daphne bridal style as he got off the butter and slid away as the two looked at each other's eyes.

"My hero." Daphne grinned as she planted a kiss on Shaggy's cheek, making the man blush.

BONK!

Both heads turned to see the Ghost of Kilijoumango had slammed his head right on the wall, with Scooby holding the ghost down on his paws as the normally cowardly Great Dane looked rather proud of his accomplishment. Daphne smiled as she gave a nod. "Good job to you too, Scooby Doo. Thanks for braving it out..."

"Rucks..." Scooby smirked as Shaggy put the girl down, getting her a chance to pull out her cell phone to call the cops.

EIGHT YEARS AGO...

After a moment of waiting, the police had arrived at the mansion, in the room where Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby (still in their superhero uniforms) were standing next to a rather disgrunted, tied up Clock Monster as he was struggling to get out of the ropes.

Leading the charge was Mr. Rogers as he looked rather astounded by the work that the three kids pulled off. "I have to say, Commander Cool, I can't believe you and Mellow Mutt managed to subdue these criminals on your own."

"Well... not entirely." Shaggy smiled as he held Daphne's hands. "I wouldn't have figured some, if not most of this out without my faithful "girlfriend" by my side, Gorgeous Gal..."

"Oh, stop..." Daphne giggled as she gave a small blush.

Mr. Rogers looked between the two kids before giving a small hidden smirk to himself before turning towards the monster. "So, this monster is the one who stole the Future Diamond, then? Well, who was this Clock Monster anyway, and why did he have an interest in my diamond?"

"To quote a very good friend of ours, let's reexamine the clues that managed to get us to this point..." Daphne said as she snapped her fingers.

"Our first clue was the Clock Monster roaming around Sir Reginald's home. The butler and the cook were talking about how he was paranoid about this monster... and yet, the monster ONLY roamed around in this mansion, with no sign of Sir Reginald or anybody else." Shaggy explained.

"Now that you mention it, the only three people we saw in the mansion this whole time, were the butler, the cook, and the one who entered the mansion, Sir Reginald himself." Daphne pointed out.

"There were also secret compartments everywhere inside the mansion, with rooms that would be impossible to find otherwise." Shaggy explained. "And during our search in the mansion, we noticed some gold flakes that fell off the monster during one of our searches... paint flakes, in fact, like the costume was recently painted."

"We also found this strange ray that took us to the future in some strange way... but in a very different place." Daphne frowned. "That is a little iffy, but you have to take our word for it..."

"Ri'm rill ronfused ryself." Scooby groaned as he held his head.

"Our final clue was a bulletin board that listed items... various items that came from the past... along with a blueprint of the machine itself, that took in the diamond." Daphne explained. "Now, we know that the Future Diamond, if the legend was to be believed, can be angled just right to see the future... HOWEVER, if powered up by this ray, it could potentially TELEPORT someone directly to the future... maybe for a short time... again, details are iffy..."

"So, anyway, we have reason to believe that our monster is..." Shaggy said as Scooby was about to unmask the Clock Monster... before a phone was heard ringing. The others looked at the random telephone that had just appeared in the room in confusion. Shaggy walked over to it as he answered it. "Hello?"

"Yo, Shag? This is Red Herring. Has Fred accused me of anything today? I haven't heard him say anything, the weenie."

"Uh, no, sorry, Red. Fred's sick today with the flu, he's not with us." Shaggy sighed as he shook his head. "But how did you get this number and how did you know we'd be on a case?"

"I don't know. I guess around this point, that weenie would usually accuse ME of doing something, even though I'm not around. Look, when you see Fred next time, tell him I think he's a weenie, huh?"

"Yeah... no promises on that..." Shaggy sighed as he hung up and looked towards the others. "Like, sorry about that..."

Daphne and Scooby just rolled their eyes as he went back to his position.

EIGHT YEARS LATER...

The sheriff and a few officers had stepped inside as Shaggy, Daphne and Scooby were standing next to the captured criminal, with the sheriff cuffing the ghost. The janitor, Troy, was seen standing nearby in awe as the sheriff looked towards the two kids and dog. "Once again, Mystery Inc, Coolsville is in your debt. Even without all your core members, you three really put in a lot of work."

"Like, it was nothing, really." Shaggy smiled. "We all have to make sure that we want a relaxing movie going experience without some creepy monster trying to get under our skins."

"What I would like to know is who or what this Ghost of Kilijoumango is." Troy frowned.

"It took us a bit to think about, I'll admit." Daphne sighed. "But... some clues that we gathered were very similar to a case that we took on eight years ago."

"How so?" The sheriff asked in confusion.

"Well, for one thing, when we were searching the movie theater, we found this strange man talking to one of the ushers about a strange box..." Shaggy explained.

"But that was just a distraction. There was never any box to be found, because this strange man was really after us!" Daphne explained, causing everyone to look at her.

"It's true! Daphne, Scooby and I found a strange room underneath the theater that contained a shrine... of US." Shaggy shuddered. "A creepy image, if I do say so myself."

"Leading us to believe that either this person was an obsessed fan... or someone else trying to take revenge on us." Daphne explained. "Like that person knew SPECIFICALLY we would be investigating this theater."

"The strangest part was, there were no pictures of Fred or Velma... just me and Daphne, and occasionally Scooby." Shaggy yelped.

"That, plus some very familiar paint flakes scattered around... we put our heads together and figured out our culprit. The reason we didn't think about it before was because we were trying to find a NEW culprit, when we should have been thinking of an OLD one... one that we managed to foil the plans..."

The others listened intently as Daphne walked over towards the Ghost of Kilijoumango, who narrowed his eyes. "Now, let's see who the Ghost of Kilijoumango REALLY is..."

With that, Daphne reached for the monster's mask as she grasped it in her hand...

EIGHT YEARS AGO...

"As I was saying, there is no doubt in my mind that... the true culprit behind the ordeal was none other than..." Shaggy said as he grasped the Clock Monster's mask.

EIGHT YEARS AGO/EIGHT YEARS LATER...

The mask was pulled off, revealing a very familiar, yet disgruntled and angry man, sneering at the people who had foiled him.

"SIR REGINALD!" Past Daphne and Scooby/Future Shaggy and Scooby gasped as they looked at the sneering face of the man before him...

Little did the past and future realize was that as of current events, a small plan was formulating in Sir Reginald's mind in BOTH timelines...
