Opening Note: So, I think it would be important to go over some details in the light of Owl House's ending and Lore which had been revealed way before Earth-7897 was able to cover them. For Example: Azula is basically Marsha from The Owl House yet when I introduced her. The series did not have a name for the character yet. So, as recommended by my Co-Writer, I named the character Azula for the AU. Though, will I be going back and correcting this detail? Overall, I don't think it would be needed. Earth-7897 is its own world and timeline, not needing all details to remain the same to the various cannon lores which inhabit this Universe. To make the explanation simpler, think of it like this. The MCU is Earth-199999 while the Comic Book Cannon is Earth-616 within The Marvel Multiverse. The MCU is its own storyline that takes the basis of Earth-616 for its structure and development. This logic can also be applied to the nature of Peter Parker of Earth-616 and Spider-Woman of Earth-65 is a world where Gwen Stacy is the one who is bitten by the spider which granted Peter his powers. Earth-7897 follows this structuring and having all details 100% accurate to Amphibia, Owl House, Dragon Ball Z/Super, MCU, Sony's Venom-Verse, Mortal Kombat, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood would not be helpful in the long run of this AU's development. This is why Vegeta and Edalyn are roughly equal in power as well. With each universe within the Multiverse, each plays by its own set of rules and power structure. Yet, it is important to use the cannon lore and the official characterizations of these characters are important compared to Power Levels. I do hope you understand where I am coming from with this statement and it doesn't turn you away from this story. Another day within the Avenger's Academy was more educational and enjoyable than Vee had believed it to be. Sure, things did not start off well upon her first arrival on Earth. Though, Roshi, Camila, Marcus, and Azula made her transition among the people of Earth easy. As the young basilisk stood before a mirror, Vee thought over her appearance as it became clear that she did not need to keep her disguise as Luz was necessary and it was recommended by Azula that having her own form would be helpful. As she thought over how she should look like, Vee morphed her appearance with movements of her hands to mold her body to the mental image. Keeping her human age around the range of seventeen years old, Vee gave herself a semi-curvy feminine body with a toned muscular build yet saved assets such as her chest as well as rear for later. Next, she focused on her hair and styled it to mimic her fur as well as ears from her Basilisk form. As she matched the colors of her hair to both skin tone and fur color, Vee thought over the last set of needed details. Yet Vee was unsure how they should be shaped. From what the basilisk took note of from the other girls in her class such as Jacqui Briggs, Azula, Amber, and Mitsu. The options did indeed vary, yet Vee just decided to keep things basic as she gave herself a minor plumped waist and thighs with her lower assets while giving herself highball B-cups upon her chest. Feeling satisfied with the results, Vee giggled as she did a twirl to dress herself with a sweater, blue jeans, and tennis shoes to finish things off. "Let's see what Marcus and Azula think of this form. Hopefully, Azula finds this attractive..." She announced aloud before a blush formed on her face from the subconscious recognition of a growing crush for the Yokai Goth. Though, the basilisk was able to suppress this sudden flustered state with a deep breath as Vee soon headed to class for the day. From what she recalled, the class for the day was being led by Colonel James Rhodes or otherwise known as the Hero dubbed War Machine. However, Vee did ponder how a name such as War Machine vocalized he was a hero and not someone with questionable morals. As Vee headed to class, the sound of a wolf whistle rang out as Azula caught up with Vee.
"Love the new style, Vee. That is something I often envy about shapeshifters." Azula praised as she checked out the Basilisk's human form with interest, "Being able to make yourself look like any way you like is definitely something that anyone would kill for." The Yokai explained with a smile and hand on her hip. Though, Vee's follow-up caught her way off guard as Vee morphed into a copy of herself. This made Azula swiftly become a flustered mess as Vee looked upon her with a smudged smirk and laugh from the Yokai's reaction.
"I am happy you like the new form, Azula. I did take some time to develop the form on my own." The Basilisk explained as she reverted back to her human form. "Although, I have to ask... What is the deal with your cousin, Momo? Lately, she has been the jerk to Marcus and Venom just because Mitsu used that tactic to catch the two off guard during training." Vee asked as the two continued to class.
Azula quickly grew a bit silent as she tried to come up with an explanation for Vee that was appropriate. "I think it has to do with how their father basically 'went off to grab the milk'..." The Yokai explained as Vee just stared at her with a clear sense of confusion as Azula's face palmed for not realizing the terminology would be foreign to the Basilisk. "What I meant is that their father ran off on them before they were born... Momo is very distrusting of anyone due to this. Even with her twin at her side." She explained further as Vee gave a nonverbal ooh upon hearing this.
"Well, I think Marcus wouldn't be like their father. He seems to be a nice guy from what I learned about him. Happy to be friends with him and you." Vee announced with a smile as they entered their classroom. James was teaching math for today's subject, though none of the students were enjoying the session taking place.
Marcus himself did not seem like he was paying attention as he was writing in his notebook, posing like he was taking notes. In truth, Marcus was forming a chat of details regarding the mystery of The White Star Corporation and what their plan was. He wanted to expose them, especially Straxus as Marcus was holding quite a grudge against the CEO. The CEO had destroyed his Uncle Eddie and nearly put them both homeless. It reminded him too much of how he lost everything when he discovered that his parents were killed in a plane crash and it was not a coincidence that both their deaths and Eddie's career falling apart had ties to the same corporation. "It isn't healthy to cling to anger like this, Marcus." Spoke the symbiote within him, "Anger may be helpful at times, but it can also destroy you if you aren't careful." Venom continued on yet despite the wisdom given. It had only led to Marcus breaking his pencil as he growled in anger.
'I don't need a lecture about forgiveness, Venom...' The troubled late teen declared within his mind.
"No, you don't." Venom declared to Marcus' surprise, "Forgiveness is not something always needed. From what I can tell, Straxus does not deserve it. With that being said, if you can't temper your anger. You might be burned by it." Explained the symbiote as Marcus thought over these words. "Though, I do wonder what Straxus' goals are with my kind... Perhaps we should do more digging into the company. Although... I am not that tech-savvy to hack into their systems or whatever is needed to extract more information..." Venom finished off as the two began to think over what they should do next.
'Jacqui could help us with that... Though, I don't want to involve anyone with my problems... Especially Mitsu, Vee, and Azula... I know Straxus is a dangerous person...' Marcus stated with firm determination to keep them out of this.
"If you help me find Scream and free her. I will allow you to use more of my powers. We need to work together if we want to break Straxus." Venom bargained with a poisonous snarl which brought a smile to Marcus' face. Agreeing to these terms, Marcus started to form a plan to infiltrate the corrupt corporations and how they were gonna burn the place to the ground.
