At Serena's 26th birthday party, Misty is having a drink of fruit punch when she noticed Oswald Cobblepot coming towards Ash for a conversation.
He is the Macy's tore owner and future mayor of New York City.
"Hi Ash, are you a friend of Misty Waterflower? he employee. I heard from someone that she's your childhood friend" Oswald said.
"Yes" Ash said happily.
"She's great making perfumes for her customers and fellow females at my Macy's store. You better be nice to her or I'll hit you with my black umbrella like the Batman will" Oswald said.
Misty don't like his behavior.
Suddenly a black cat attacks Misty after she finishes her drink.
It bit her right finger and gave her powers of a magical cat.
Ash took her home after Oswald saw the accident.
"Misty!" Ash cried out.
"Let's get her home" Oswald suggested and calls Misty's sisters about the cat incident.
