Amos sighed "They really botched the storytelling. And it is a pity."

"You are talking about the dream sequence?"

"Yes. I cannot believe that they made so many mistakes. Because the material was there. They could have made it more…realistic? Or gripping?"

"Well, we know that they based on our reality, as told them by Baron Orczy."

"Yes. But all those storytelling mistakes. Like having the Irina character boasting about it and giving up the plot before it starts. Instead of letting the realization come to them. And those dreams! They make fun of those dry ice buckets, but the problem is that those are generic frightening images. When the truth is that they tapped their greatest fears, something that made they want to run away from. Something that made them force open locked doors. As it is, they seem to be afraid of opening those doors. But in reality, they wanted those doors to open."

"I agree, it is very bad storytelling. But much worse is what they did to your character."

"Let's not talk about it. The actor was quite good. He made you believe that there was a core to him, instead of being buffeted to and fro by the writer's whims. They decided that they had a vampire, so let him make all kind of disparate things, with no continuity, because he can always flash his fangs… I wish I could tell them the reality of it."

"Better not. Let people think that it is just a fantasy. You were talking about people's greatest fears."

"Yes. Beverly's fear was that she got in trouble she could not get out of. That her adventurous spirit would make her careless. It happened to her twice. First with Chester Simms, and then with her experiment in going back in time. She was afraid that the next time it would be her death. So, she dreamed about it."

"And for Frank, it was the realization that he could have gotten Wendy killed. He tried to deny it during the daytime, but when he slept it came back to him. He wanted to escape that. He wanted to be back to a reality where Wendy was alive."

"You killed Wendy!" Albert Pruitt shouted at Frank "You, and your drug deals!"

"I did not. Wendy is alive!"

He ran.

He found the door. He had to open in. Albert Pruitt was behind him, shouting. He pulled at the door. He had to get out… Any way…

The door opened.

"I will take it from here", Dinah said.
