Instead of going to her own apartment, Levy decided the night was still young! Looking to her best friend, the script mage stood in front of the doors of the guild hall. "Hey Lu, whaddya say we make use of those cards you were gifted?"

"Did you have anything in mind?" Lucy asked curiously.

"I have a few questions I'd like some guidance on." Levy winked at her friend. "Figured we could get some use out of them together."

"I like the way you think, Lev." The Celestial Mage nodded as she smiled happily. The two ladies make their way towards Lucy's apartment. Looking up at the clear night sky, the young blonde couldn't help but wonder what the Dragon Slayer was up to. She's been keeping herself busy with different jobs to keep her mind off of the change happening around her. She knew it wasn't healthy, but Lucy also liked the amount of extra income she had.

"I bet you're thinking about that Dragon Slayer." Levy couldn't help but chuckle, pulling her friend out of her thoughts. "You always get that look on your face when Natsu's on your mind."

"I can't help it." The Celestial Mage felt a heat rush to her cheeks. "I was glad that you asked me about the tarot cards, because I was going to use them when I got home, I was just a little nervous to do it on my own."

"We're going to work through this together, Lu. That's what friends are for!"

Lucy nodded to the script mage. "I also planned on getting some extra help using my spirits."

"Oooh! Sounds like a great idea!"

Once at the apartment, Levy began making snacks while Lucy called her spirit, Virgo.

"Have you called me to punish me at last, Princess?"

"Uhh.." The Celestial Mage's brow raised. "No, Sorry Virgo… We were hoping you could give us a Tarot reading."

"Ooh! It's been so long since I've done one. I'd be honored!" The Maiden smiled brightly. "Do you have a deck of cards?"

"Yep!" Lucy handed the deck to Virgo. Once they were in her hand, she immediately examined them.

"These won't do for my Princess." The Celestial spirit mentioned as she began to toss them in her hands, transforming them from a white and red color to black and teal.

The Maiden shuffled the deck of cards several times, noticing the script mage come back into the room with food. A smile came over Virgo's face. "I like to shuffle my deck seven times. If you'd like me to do more, please say so. What kind of spread will I be doing tonight, Princess?"

"Levy, would you like to go first?" The Celestial Wizard questioned as she began munching on the popcorn in front of her.

"Sure!"

"What kind of spread, miss?" Virgo asked with a smile.

"Uhm.. A love spread.." A bright red color took over the script mage's cheeks. "I've been friends with someone for quite some time now. I feel that there could be some feelings on his part. I just want to know if it's worth exploring."

A small chuckle escaped the maiden's lips. "You're finally wanting to take the plunge with Mr. Black Steele, huh?"

"H-how did you know?!" Levy was completely shocked. She had only told a couple of people about that in confidence. Did the entire guild know?

"Besides the fact that you make it obvious when you're around him, my big brother likes to gossip."

"Loki?!" Lucy's eyes widened, unaware that he knew about Levy's crush.

"He's been around the guild enough to watch the two of them together. Big brother always comes back to the spirit realm with the best gossip!"

"Can we just move on? Now that my entire secret's out…" The script mage hung her head in her hands.

Virgo nodded, spreading the deck of cards out. "Please, pick six cards of your choosing."

"What do the six cards she's picking represent?" Lucy asked curiously.

"I'll be happy to explain the process as I go along, Princess." The Maiden gave her Celestial Wizard a bright smile. Once she noticed six cards had been chosen, Virgo places the rest of the cards back into a pile and puts them to the side.

"In a love spread, the first card represents how you feel about your current relationship. Can you explain how you feel before we reveal this card? It will help me to interpret it better."

"I enjoy the time we spend together." A grin snuck onto Levy's features. "He seems to be protective of me, which is why he will send Lily on missions with me. I'm just afraid to speak my true feelings to him. Every time I think of telling him how I feel, Gajeel usually says or does something insensitive unintentionally."

Flipping over the first card, the celestial spirit revealed the Three of Wands. A smile came to her face. "Your hard work is paying off it would seem. Even though you feel as if it's been nothing but obstacles, it's not in vain. You need to keep an open mind, but know your efforts are paying off." Virgo touches the second card with a smile. "The second card represents your partner's emotions."

The second card was revealed to be the eight of pentacles. "It seems as though the Dragon Slayer's mind is in another place besides a relationship. This card is showing me that he's dedicating his time to honing a specific craft. If it were my guess, it would be to become stronger. I'm not surprised by this reading, considering who we're talking about." Virgo chuckled as she placed her hand on the third card.

"This card, the third, is our obstacle card. It shows some possible obstacles you will have to go through." The Maiden revealed the Strength card, a smile taking over her features. "While this card can also talk about the strength of a relationship. To me, the reason that it shows up right now is because of the strong bond between the two of you. Like any person in Fairy Tail, you have a bond of trust with each of your guildmates. But it seems that the two of you have grown extra strong in your battles together."

"So this is a good thing, right?" Levy questioned, getting a little confused by the whole process.

"Everything is working in your favor at the moment, Levy." Virgo grinned. "None of these cards have been concerning to me. You've been taking steps in the right direction the whole time. Are you ready for the fourth card?" The Maiden waited until her friend was ready to continue the reading.

"Next, this card shows the strengths of your relationship." Revealing the five of swords, Virgo nods and looks towards Levy. "Earlier, you mentioned something about Gajeel saying things that are insensitive. At the end of the day, a lot of the reason the fight begins is his need to be right. It seems as though you recognize that, seeing that the small battles don't matter as long as you win the war together."

The Miden flipped over the fifth card, revealing the King of Swords. "This card represents the weakness in your relationship." It took the pink haired spirit a moment to think of what to say.

"Is everything alright?"

Virgo nods with a smile. "I just don't want you to take his words to heart. While they have a lot of power in the moment, it's what we do with the aftermath that truly matters."

"This final card will determine if the relationship will be successful" The Maiden happily revealed the last card, Justice. A bright grin came over her features. "I think since both of you recognize the mistakes you've made. It'll be easier for this relationship to flourish. You should go for it!"

"That's what I was hoping to hear!" Levy mentioned happily as she looked back at her best friend. "Alright, Lu! It's your turn now!"

"Oh boy.." Lucy moves from the couch onto the floor in front of the coffee table. She watched as her Celestial Spirit began to shuffle the cards once again. Becoming apprehensive the young blonde looked at the Maiden. "Are you sure you're doing okay, being in the real world for this long?"

"I've switched over to using my own magic power, Princess. I didn't want this to drain you since I knew it would take some time." After shuffling the cards, the celestial spirit spread them out in front of Lucy. "This reading is going to be a little different than Levy's. While I'm still going to look at your relationship, I would like to use a stellar cross instead this time. Please pick five cards!"

The young blonde took her time choosing, wanting to make the most out of this. Not only that, she was a little bit nervous. Once she finally picked, she looked towards her spirit.

Flipping over the first card, Virgo smiled as she looked at the Emperor. "This card describes you almost perfectly. You are the protector of the ones you love, bringing security and comfort into your relationships. Do you find yourself offering advice often?"

'You're always giving me advice about boys, Lu!" Levy mentioned with a grin.

"I do tend to give my opinion in a lot of situations. I never really thought of it as advice." The Celestial Wizard shrugged. As she thought back however, she did note that she offered a lot of guidance to other members of Fairy Tail.

The Maiden grinned across the table at her friend, Lucy. "Let's see the partner's feelings." The second card was a bit of a shock to Virgo. Her eyes widened slightly, but she didn't want to make it too noticeable. "I wasn't expecting this."

"What's that? It doesn't look like a good sign."

"The Devil is an interesting card, not a bad card. It means that your partner's feelings are very intense. Which, I guess given the nature of the person it totally makes sense." The Maiden chuckled.

Taking the third card into her hand, she grinned once again. "The obstacle card is also in your favor, Princess. The star tells me that even though there may be hard times, you'll always be able to get back on your feet!"

Wheel of Fortune appeared as the fourth card. Virgo looked at her Celestial Wizard as she spoke. "Lucky Lucy, this is a good card to have. If you let things go with the flow, luck is going to find you in all your endeavors."

"What's the last card for?" the blonde asked curiously. "It seems like this is all wrapped up."

"The last card is the future card, in a stellar cross." The Maiden raised a brow as they revealed the Tower card.

"Is something wrong?" Levy asked from the couch.

"No, it's just not a card I was expecting." Virgo shrugged before looking towards Lucy. "The Tarot is saying something about tearing down your walls in order to change into the person you're meant to be."

Change is coming.. The older woman's voice from Hosenka rang through Lucy's mind. It was enough to raise the hair on her arms and cause her to shiver.

"Is everything alright, Princess?" The Maiden questioned, noticing the distressed energy her friend was giving off.

"It's nothing Virgo." Lucy did her best to shrug it off. "After our mission, we took some time to relax in Hosenka. I got a tarot reading while I was there that said the same thing. The older woman said a change was coming."

"Did she mention what kind of change?"

"No she didn't..." Lucy admitted to her spirit and friend. "She mentioned feeling at war with myself. Which, I will admit, I've been feeling a little bit lost lately. After coming back from Edolas, I've felt the need to become more independent. I want to go on my own missions and take on exciting jobs like Erza does! But, at the same time I want to get closer to my friend."

"What's stopping you?" The Maiden snickered. "I think you're strong enough to handle both!"

Looking down at the floor, The young blonde took a deep breath. "Before I joined the guild, Natsu and Lisanna were very close. When she came back to Earthland with us, I instinctively began to give them space."

"Do you think that's what's caused this war inside you?" Virgo questioned.

"It's possible.." Lucy sighed deeply. "Above everything, I want Natsu to be happy."

Levy decided to interject. "Lu.. I think you're forgetting about someone else who's very important."

"Who?"

"You." The script mage gave her friend a bright smile.
