"Are you OK?" Beverly asked Dinah.
"I had bad dreams. Having to do with what happened."
"I can imagine. It was quite a shock."
"Amos is involved in this, isn't he? The… man… creature will not be found. I want to go ask Amos what he knows of it."
"Not until sundown. But it is not his idea. It is one of Professor Romney's projects"
"And Amos?"
"Amos knows that he needs Romney's goodwill. He is what he is, and he is more vulnerable that you think."
"I see.: Dinah left, grumbling.
Beverly sighed. Better to put the blame on Romney. Amos was vulnerable, and Dinah could make things hard for him. While Romney could survive Dinah's anger.
She went back to study the resumes. The plant needed a new manager. With the power given her by Louis and Dinah, she could get some competent people, who would not just do things the ways they had always been done…
