Alola!Everybody! Welcome to my newest oneshot Alola! The Eclipsing Adventure.
With that title you can probably guess what this story will be, yup a sonic unleashed fanfic.
Yeah I decided to free up a few stories that I wasn't interested but if anyone is interested these are adoptable.
But with that said, let's do this!

Third person P.O.V.
In the middle of the ocean on a bright night we see large island which had a large, extremely high tech building built open it
Within the building, we see a girl with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes, she wore a beautiful white dress with a big white hat and a bag next to her side which was shaking, as if something was inside.
The girl was running as fast as she could towards the building elevator, as several men in white suits chased after her.
When she made it to the elevator, it began moving downwards towards what looked a wild life sanctuary with several plants, trees, lakes and beaches with several Pokemon roaming around the place.
When the elevator finally stopped, the girl slowly walked out before sighing "Finally, I can take rest" she said, before her bag continued moving.
"H-Hey, please calm down, we're not free yet, '' she said, before hearing footsteps.
"There she is!" She heard, quickly looking behind her to see more people in white suits running towards her.
"Oh no!" She gasped, before continuing to run away.
However each time she tried turning a corner more people in suits we're coming after her, until finally she was surrounded.
"We've got you miss, now please return the asset!" One of the people said, as the girl gulped.
"N-No! I won't you have no idea what she was doing!" The girl said, began moving around and glowing.
"H-Huh?!" She said the bag continued to grow brighter and brighter until finally she was engulfed by a bright light.
The light formed into a blue energy ball, which flew through the night sky.
As they did, we see a woman with long blonde hair glancing through the window before closing her eyes and looking away.
Three months later
Kanto Region
Third person P.O.V.
The first thing we see is a computer screen ringing for a video chat, before the mouse on the computer moves to the accept button.
The screen then flashed on to see a tilted image "Hang on give me a sec" a voice said, as the camera tilted to its proper position as we see a man in his thirties in front of the screen.
It was a tanned man with a small black beard and short hair of the same colour. Clear shades covered his eyes and a white cap with a rainbow on the front was covering his head. He appeared to be wearing an open lab coat that revealed his toned chest and abs. He wore grey pants that ended below his knees with green slip-on shoes.
"Hey there! Good afternoon! Man it's sure has been awhile since we've last seen each other Saila, so I hear you'll be coming over to Alola soon." The man said, as the scene moved back to a woman staring at the screen with a smile.
The woman had long black hair and had slightly tanned skin, she was wearing a yellow shirt with a lime coloured dress, and on her lap was a Meowth taking a nap, this was Saila Sun.
"Yes, I'm quite excited to be getting the chance to come to your region Kukui, though to be honest I am a little worried" she said, as the now named Kikui blinked.
"Hmm and why's that?" He asked, as she sighed.
"Well it's just because of work my husband is going to be a bit delayed coming to the region. Not only that but I'm worried that my two kids are going to have a hard time getting used to living in the region, especially my son" she said.
"Hmm? And, why your son in particular?" He asked, as she sighed.
"Well my daughter, Ailey, already has friends in that region but my son doesn't and I'm worried he's going to have trouble fitting in especially since he won't be able to see his friends any more" she explained.
"Oh if it's that don't worry, all of the kids at my school are sure to give your son a warm Alolan welcome" he said, as she nodded.
"I know, I'm just still worried…" she said, as he nodded.
"Hmm, I know how about you, let me have a chat with your son" he said, as she nodded.
"Alright, give me a second," she said, placing her Pokemon on the couch and walking out of the room.
"Hey Ailey, do you know where Elio is? I sent him to go and get a haircut an hour ago but he hasn't come back yet" She asked, as her daughter looked back.
This was Ailey Sun, Salia's daughter who was currently feeding her partner Munchlax, she was a teenager that looked about 16 years old with long black hair, with purple strands tied into a ponytail, a black tank top and grey tracksuit.
"Hmm, I think I saw him and Pikachu went out for a bit to play," she said, as her mother nodded.
"Oh…that boy is in so much trouble" she said, before walking towards the front door as we got a look outside.
"Alright let's go!" We hear, we take a look outside at the small town to we see group of kids huddled up together.
What are they doing you may be wondering? We'll just take a look.
"Nidoran go! Use peck!" A young man said, as he commanded the purple poison pin Pokemon to dash towards it's opponent, it's horn pointing forward.
"Pikachu! Dodge it" we hear as we see the yellow mouse Pokemon move out of the way it's opponent's attack.
Pikachu was a small yellow mouse Pokemon with red cheeks, yellow year's and a thunder bolt shaped tail.
This command came from a 12 year old boy with a black mullet, and a black and blue cap. He was currently a white shirt with blue stripes, he also wore black shorts with red pockets and blue water themed shoes.
He was currently in the middle of a Pokemon battle with one of his friend.
"Alright Pikachu! Let's hit him with a thunder shock!" He yelled, as the Pikachu began charging up electricity into it's red cheeks.
"Piii…kaa…CHHHUUUU!" The Pokemon yelled, as it fired a bolt of electricity towards the Nidoran knocking it back.
"Nidoran! Are you okay?" It's trainer asked, as the Nidoran slowly recovered from the attack.
"Alright! Nidoran use Poison Sting!" He yelled as the Nidoran shot several poison shots towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu! Use your tail whip on the ground" he yelled, confusing his friends.
"Pi!" It said, as the Pikachu nodded, swinging its tail back and forth near the ground, raising dust which negated poison shots.
"No way!" "I din't know tail whip could do that!" "Only Elio could think of something like that"
"Alright Pikachu! Let's finish this with a quick atta-" "Elio…"
"Eeep!" The young man gulped, feeling a shiver going down his back as he slowly looked behind him to see his mother glaring down at him.
"Oh h-hey mom! W-What a-are y-you doing here" he asked, as the woman glared at him.
"I was looking for you since you were taking so long, but here I am seeing you not with a clean cut of hair but instead with your long hair and battling with your friends" she said.
"Look mom, I'm sorry we saw everyone and we wanted have one last hang out before we left for Alola" he said, as the woman sighed.
"Okay… just follow me I have some who wants to meet you" she said, pulling her son back to there home with Pikachu following behind.
Elio was then sat down on the chair in front of the computer, as his mother pointed to the screen "Elio this is Professor Kukui from the Alola Region, he'd like to have a word with you".
"O-Okay" Elio nodded, as his mother left the room along with the Pokemon.
"Hahaha, that mother of yours sure is scary, ain't she" Kukui said, as Elio nodded "Yeah she really is".
"Well anyway, Alola cousin, the names Professor Kukui and your mom is a little worried about you when you head over here to the Alola region but I wanted to know how you feel" he asked.
"Well…I don't really know what this Alola place is like, so I don't even know if I'll link it or not" Elio said, as the man laugh.
"Listen cousin…" he said, as a picture showing the five islands of the Alola region popped up next to him. "…Alola is a region made up of several different islands. That could be the reason the region is chock full of nothin' but rare Pokémon, yeah!"
"Wait…rare Pokemon? Really!" Elio asked, a smile on his face.
"Hehe, I could tell that you really like Pokemon especially with that battle you were having" he said, making Elio "You could hear us?".
"Yup, very clever using tail whip to gather up dust so it would negate the poison shots" he said.
"Anyway yeah, there's no shortage of cool Pokémon in the Alola region! Such mysterious creatures! You find 'em all over... In the grass, in the caves, in the sky and sea…" A dog Pokémon appeared in the picture and started to look into the camera.
"Here in Alola we love our Pokémon, and we depend on them heaps, too. Some of us even battle with 'em, if we call ourselves Pokémon Trainers!" the dog Pokémon then started to rubbing up against the man.
"Rockruff! Can you wait until I'm done talkin' to play?" the dog jumped off the table and the man continued talking.
"Wow, this place is sounding really fun though will the new people I meet even like me" he said, as the man smiled.
"Ah don't worry about it, I'll be giving you a traditional Alolan welcome at my school, so no worries" he said "And there's a special tradition we like to do during a festival going on in a few weeks for kids who are aspiring to become Pokemon trainers, if you're interested".
"A tradition? What kind of tradition?" Elio asked, as Kukui smirked.
"Oh you'll have to wait and see, but let's just say it will be something very exciting" he said, as the young man nodded.
"Okay! Thanks Professor now I'm excited!" Elio smiled, making Kukui smirk.
"No problem, glad I was able to help you out" Kukui smirked.
"Hey Bro! you haven't finished packing" Ailey called, making Elio jump.
"Ah, Crapbaskets' baskets! Uh sorry prof, have to go" Elio said, as Kukui smiled "No problem, good look"
The video call then ended as we see Kukui leaning back on his chair "Looks like we'll be getting enough participants for all three of you" he said, looking back to see three Pokemon behind.
"Rowl…" One was a brown and white owl Pokemon with green feathers under his wings and on his chests who was sleeping up on one of the houses beams, this was the Grass quill Pokemon, Rowlet.
"Pop! Pop!" Another one was a blue seal Pokemon who was making funny faces at the fish Pokemon in the aquarium, this was the sea lion Pokemon, Popplio.
"Ten~" And finally a black and red cat who was purring on against the couch, taking a nap. This was the fire cat Pokemon, Litten.
"Ruff! Ruff!" he heard as he looked down to see the Puppy Pokemon rubbing the stone around its neck on the professor's leg.
"Hehe, alright alright I'll play with you" he said, picking the Pokemon as it badges happily.
"And hope he'll be able to get along with you too, Lillie" he said, looking up to the blonde girl from before sleeping on the bed in the loft.
A few weeks later
Alola Region
Third-person P.O.V.
We see a Archipelago of four islands in the middle of the Ocean with several smaller islands next to it, including the man made island.
This was the Alola region, a tropical paradise in Pokemon World with many tourists coming around every summer just to visit the region.
Alola is made up of five islands: the natural island Melemele island, Akala island, Ulaula island and Poni island, as well as the artificial island Aether Paradise which was one a Pokemon reserve called the Poke Pelago.
It is a popular resort destination that attracts a lot of tourists from other regions either for vacation or to meet the rare wildlife of the region.
In Alola, humans and Pokemin coexist in a very close relationship, and a culture has developed that is different from other regions.
This is also the new home to our hero, as we take a look towards Melemele island where we see a large house just outside of the beach.
We see the door to the balcony opening up as Saila and Ailey walk out along with their Pokemon.
"Mmh, now feel that sun doesn't just warm the soul" Saila smiled, as Ailey nodded.
"Yeah, I have to admit I always love coming to Alola, especially this time of year" Ailey nodded, as they began setting the table for breakfast before looking around "By the way, where's Elio?".
"I think he's still sleeping in his new room" Saila said before crouching towards her Pokemon, Meowth.
"Meowth" The Pokemon nodded as it walked towards Eilio's room and opened the door.
When it did, it found Elio sleeping on his bed with his Pikachu sleeping in his Pokeball on his desk.
Elio now had shorter black hair thanks to the hair cut he had gotten.
The meowth looked up at the sleeping Elio, before noticing it sharpened its claws and used its scratch on Elio's face.
"Ow!" Elio cried, as he rubbed the mark on his face.
"Did you have to do a wake-up call, Meowth?" he said, rubbing his face as Meowth left the room.
"Huh, oh yeah we made it to the Alola region last night huh" he said looking out his window.
"Well might as well get changed and have myself a look around" he smiled, as he began getting changed out of his Pyjama's into his usually clothes before walking out of his room.
"Ah looking good lil bro" Ailey said before pointing to the table "Come on breakfast is ready".
"Alright give me a sec, Pikachu come on out!" he said tossing the ball up into the air which opened up releasing the yellow mouse Pokemon.
"Pi?" the Pikachu said, looking around.
"Hey Pikachu, come on time for breakfast," Elio said, as the Pokemon nodded making their way to the table to have some breakfast.
"Pi! Pi! Pi!" Pikachu said, as it ate the Pokemon food in it's bowl along with the other Pokemon.
"Munch!Munch!Munch!" Munchlax said, as it ate it's food very quickly.
"Huh, where are your other Pokemon sis?" Elio asked, as Ailey shrugged "I thought bringing all of my Pokemon to the region would be a too much for us, so Professor Oak said he'd take care of them and he'd send any over if I needed them"
"Okay but why keep Munchlax" he asked, as Ailey smiled "You think I'm letting go of this little guy".
"So I'll be going to city hall today to inform them of our arrival, but what are you two doing?" Salia asked as Ailey smiled.
"I'm gonna meet up with some of my friends, then we'll probably hang out for a while" she said, before turning to Elio "What about you?"
"Hmm, I don't really know, I mean I've never been to this region before," he said, before they heard another voice.
"Then how about I give you the grand tour" they heard, turning to Professor Kukui walking towards them with Rockruff following him.
"Alola! It's been while cousins" he smirked, as the two girls smiled.
"Professor Kukui! It's been so long" Salia said as the professor nodded "Sure has, and Aikey you sure have grown. I remember when you were just a kid journeying through this region".
"Hey! I'm not a kid anymore" she said looking away.
"Munch! Munch!" Munchlax said, as Kukui smiled petting Munchlax's head before noticing Pikachu.
"And who's this little guy? '' Kukui asked, petting Pikchu's head who was just annoyed.
"Wait! Prof don't!" Elio yelled, confusing Kukui "Huh, why?-"
"Piii…kaa…CHHHUUUU!" The Pokemon yelled, as it fired a bolt of electricity towards the professor.
"Aaaaaaawawawawawa!" Kukui yelled, as he was shocked by the Pokemon before falling dizzily.
"Ah! Sorry about that Professor, Pikachu is a bit shy to strangers" Elio said, picking up his Pokemon.
"Are you kidding! Don't apologise, that thunder shock was great and really healthy! I can tell you've taken great care of your partner" he smiled, wiping off the soot from his body.
"So what are you doing here Prof?" Ailey asked, as Kukui smiled.
"Well I wanted to take Elio to the Pokemon school, so he could find the best way to get there" Kukui said, exciting Elio.
"Really! Mom can I?" he asked, making his mother smile.
"Of course just be back before dark okay?" She said as Elio smiled.
"Of course" he said, putting on his hat "Come on Pikachu! Let's go" he said, as his Pokemon partner nodded, climbing his body before resting on his shoulder.
"Alright! See you guys later" he said, running from the house as Kukui laughed.
"Hey now slow down, we're not in a rush," Kukui said, following him.
Pokemon School
Third person P.O.V.
"We should be almost there," Kukui said, as Elio and Pikachu looked around.
They had been going all around Ikki town, with Kukui showing the young man the best places around the island, with the last being his Pokemon school.
"Oh hey Prof, I was wondering what kind of tradition is this anyway?" Elio asked, as Kukui smiled.
"Ah well you see, once a year the town holds a festival where three students in Pokemon school are chosen for the island trial as a way to commemorate their move into adulthood." He explained.
"The students are usually decided through a tournament and the mL three strongest students are rewarded with a special gift from the island kahuna and afterwards are given the chance to compete in the island trials" he explained.
"Wow, that sounds really exciting but I'm sure me and Pikachu can win it all!" he yelled, excitedly.
"Pi! Pikachu! Pika! Pika!" Pikachu agreed, happily.
"Hehehe, ah to be young" Kukui said, before noticing something in the distance "Ah! Here we are".
"Huh?" Elio blinked looking up to see a large school building in the distance before an explosion of smoke occurred.
"Haha, looks like we got a pretty intense battle going on" Kukui said, as Elio got excited.
"Woah! I'm gonna check that out! Come on Pikachu!" Elio yelled, as he ran up towards the school.
There he saw two kids his age doing a Pokemon battle on the school's field.
"Okay Grubbin! Use discharge!" A young tanned man said, who wore a black shirt with orange shorts that had floral patterns on them. His shoes were orange and he had grey eyes with greenish-brown hair tied into a ponytail.
"Grub!" A small larva Pokemon said, as it charged electricity into it's body before it fired a it's opponent which was a black and red woodpecker Pokemon.
"Pikipek! Dodge it! And use a brick break!" A slightly tanned girl said, who had brown eyes and short dark hair with a red, flower-like cap covering the top of her head. She was dressed in a white shirt with faint pink and yellow flowers on them, she wore very short green shorts and red and black shoes with yellow laces.
The bird Pokemon flew high as it's foot glowed a orange colour before the Pokemon sent a kick towards the Grubbin.
"Quickly! Grubbin dodge it by using dig!" the boy said, as his Pokemon responded by using its pincer to dig underground escaping its opponent's attack.
"Pikki!" The bird Pokemon cried, banging its foot on the ground.
"Pikipek! Stay in the air so his attack can't reach!" the girl said, as the Pokemon nodded flying up into the air.
"Don't think that'll stop us!" He yelled, as the Pokemon burst from the ground "Now! Use string shot!".
The pokemon nodded, as it shot a string of web at it's opponent before tossing it to the ground.
"Alright! Now finish it off with a Vice Grip!" Hau yelled, as his Pokemon nodded and dashed towards Pikipek before trapping it in its pincers "I got you now!".
"Heh please! You got us right where needed! Pikipek use your peck attack!" she said as the bird Pokemon turned to the bug as its beak glowed before pecking at it several times.
This caused the two to be knocked back, the two Pokemon stared down at each other before the tap Pokemon soon collapsed to the ground unconscious.
"Aw, man! Another tie" the girl groaned pointing her Pokemon at her partner "Pikipek, return".
"Yeah but it was still a fun match!" the boy laughed, returning his Pokemon to its Pokeball "Take a good rest bud".
"Well well you two seem as energetic as ever" Kukui said, as the two kids looked over at the Professor and smiled.
"Alola! Professor Kukui!" the two said, running up to him before noticing Elio next to him "Wait, who's this guy?".
"Hau, Selene this is a new student to this school" Kukui smiled at Elio and patted his back "Go on and introduce yourself"
"Oh uh, A-Alola, I'm Elio, Elio Sun and this guy is my partner Pikachu" he said, exciting the two students.
"Woah! A Pikachu! Those are so rare on Melemele" Hau said, looking at the Pikachu.
"So are you from one of the other islands?" Selene asked, as he shook his head.
"No, I'm from the Kanto Region," he said, surprising them.
"No way the Kanto region! Home of some of the strongest trainers and the great Professor Oak!" Selene said, excited.
"Uh yup! Heck my sister even knows him and made it all the way to the Pokemon League" he said, smugly as Selene got excited.
"Alright then newbie! You're getting me excited! So then how about a Pokemon battle!" Hau said, lifting up his Pokeball.
"What! A battle already? We just had one Hau" Selene said, as Hau turned to her "I know but I just can't not battle him!".
"A battle, now that sounds interesting do you accept Elio?" Kukui asked, as Elio smirked.
"Alright sure! Me and Pikachu we're the best back home! And we'll be the best here too!" he declared.
A few minutes later we see Elio and Hau staring down at each other on the battlefield, as Kukui, Selene and some other students watched from the side.
"This will be a single one-on-one battle, the battle will end when the first Pokemon faints" Kukui said.
"Alright Pikachu, I choose you" he said, as the Pikachu nodded, jumping off his shoulder and on to the field.
"Alright then" Hau said, pulling out his Poke ball and pressing the button, making it grow.
"Crabrawler! Come on out!" he said as the Pokeball opened up as a purple crab Pokemon with large blue claws that could be used as boxing gloves came out.
"Woah! So that's a Crabrawler" he said "Man I wish I borrowed Ailey's Pokedex".
"Alright' Crabrawler use bubble!" he said, as his Pokemon shot several bubbles towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu! Use quick attack and dodge the bubbles!" he said, as his Pokemon nodded running in all fours towards his opponent before tackling into him
"Alright then! Crabbrawler use rock smash" Hau said as his Pokemon's first began glowing.
"Rawler!" it said as it began swinging it's claw at Pikachu who moved out of the way.
"Pikachu! Jump off it's claw and use Thunder shock" he yelled, as his partner nodded.
"Pi!" it said dashing towards Crabrawler as it tried punching him before jumping off it's claw while charging up electricity.
"Pii…Kaa…CHHHUUUU!" The Pokemon yelled as it fired a bolt of electricity towards its opponent knocking it back.
However, the Crabbrawler soon recovered, surprising Elio "Wait what?! It's a water type, it should've done more".
"Hehe, nope Crabbrawler's all fighting type" he smiled, as Crabbrawler clapped its claws.
As the battle continued we see a figure watching the battle from the tres with an interested look.
"Alright, Crabrawler now use pursuit," he said, as the Pokemon began jabbing it's claws at Pikachu.
'So he's a fighting type, which none of my moves can do much damage to… I need to think of a way to power up Pikachu's attack… I got it!'
"Pikachu! Keep dodging it but while you do charge up electricity into your body!" he yelled as Pikachu nodded.
"Pi! Pi! Pi!" Pikachu said, as it dodged Crabbrawlers attack while focusing on charging up electricity.
Pikachu kept on dodging the pokemon's attacks until finally, Crabbrawler was able to hit Pikachu knocking it back.
"Pikachu! Are you okay?" Elio asked as the Pokemon nodded getting back up "Pika!".
"Now! Pikachu use quick attack!" he declared, as his Pokemon nodded dashing towards it's opponent.
"Pika!" it said, tackling it's opponent.
"And now, release your electricity with Thunder Shock!" he yelled, as it's Pokemon nodded.
"Pii…kaa…CHHHUUUU!" The Pokemon yelled as it fired a bolt of electricity towards its opponent knocking it back.
Crabbrawler tried getting back up before it soon collapsed, falling unconscious.
"Aw man! I lost" Hau sighed, before returning his Pokemon to it's pokeball.
"Take a good rest buddy," Elio said, returning Pikachu to his Pokeball.
"Wow dude! That was an awesome battle! I thought I had that one but you surprised me" Hau said, as Elio smirked.
"Hehe, thanks you were great as well," Elio said as Kukui and Selene walked towards them.
"I have to admit you we're impressive, for a newbie," Selene said, annoying Elio "Huh?! What was that!".
"Now now, let's not right now," Kukui said, as Hau nodded "Yeah! We should all be buddies and have a bunch of Malasadas!".
"Malasadas?" Elio blinked, confused.
"Oh by the way, have you two seen Lillie anywhere? I was hoping to pick her up today" he asked, as they shook their heads.
"Nope, I haven't seen her since school ended," Hau said.
"I think she might've made her own way back," Selene guessed, making Kukui nod.
'Who's Lillie?' Elio thought while looking at them.
"Oh Elio, do you mind making your own way back? I have some work to finish off here" he asked, as Elio nodded.
"Sure thing Prof, thanks for the tour" Elio smiled, as he headed back to his home.
As he did, Selene gave him an uncertain look.
"Is something wrong, Selene?" Hau asked, "What do you not like him?".
"It's not that, I just have trouble trusting people not from Alola you know" she said as the two walked back "Especially with what happened to Grandpa's island".
"Yeah I get what you mean, but we just need to get to know him more," Hau said "And I got just the idea".
"Huh? What do you have planned this time" she asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Well you see," Hau said, telling his friend his plan.
Forest
Third-person P.O.V.
We see Elio walking down the street to get back home, with a bug grin ok his face "Man that was a fun battle! I hope we get to battle with more people eh buddy" he asked as his Pokeball nodded.
Elio couldn't help but smile before he began hearing the sound of ruffling "Huh?".
"Koko!" He looked up to see the figure of a Pokemon flying through the sky up towards the hills.
"Woah! What kind of Pokemon is that" he said, as he began following the Pokemon.
Elio followed the Pokemon for a few moments until he found himself in a mountain-like trail with several statues around the place depicting different shoes including a rooster, an egg, a fish and a bull.
"Huh…where am I?" he wondered, looking around until he noticed the blonde girl in the distance "And who's that?".
'She's…so pretty' Elio couldn't help but blush as he watched the girl, before he began walking towards the girl before noticing her bag moving around "No! You can't come out! We'll get in trouble if anyone sees you!"
"Peww…" Something inside the bag was struggling before it successfully escaped the bag.
That something was a Pokémon, it was a purple and blue gaseous Pokémon with two wisp-like extensions that served as its arms. An ellipse ran down its body, the front and back of its body were black. It had yellow eyes with blue blushes as cheeks.
The Pokémon was hovering across the bridge to get to the other side while the girl looked scared to cross it "Nebby…".
"Spear!" the girl heard looking up to see three seasons hovering closer to the gaseous Pokémon.
Mistaking the pokemon for prey, they circled it before they started growling at the Pokémon.
The girl shakily tried to get on the bridge fear coursing through her body but she couldn't do it, but a few more bird Pokemon washed towards her ready for the attack.
"Oh no! Pikachu use thundershock" he said, tossing the Pokeball towards the girl which opened up in front of her.
The still winded Pikachu least out of the Pokeball before it used its thundershock to scare the Spearows away.
"Are you okay?" Elio asked, as the girl shakily nodded.
"Y-Yes…but Nebby…"
"Nebby?" Elio blinked before noticing the gas Pokémon floating on the bridge with the Spearow stalking it.
"Those Spearow are attacking it! But… but I'm too afraid to go out there… My legs feel like they might give out…" she said in an almost begging manner.
Elio gulped looking at the Pokemon before looking down at his Pikachu who was clearly still tired and would only injure itself more if it tried to help.
"Alright…alright I'll do it!" he said as the girl looked up at him "Really? Oh thank you! Please hurry!"
"Pikachu, keep an eye on her" he said, as Pikachu nodded.
Elio started to walk onto the bridge, it shook every time he walked so he took it all but rushed.
He noticed a couple of gaps in the bridge and gulped when he saw the distance below the bridge.
"Don't look down… Don't look down… Don't look down…".
He eventually made it to Nebby to see it cowering with its wisp-like arm covering its eyes while the Spearow pecked at it.
"H-Hey! Leave him alone!" he said, shooting the Pokemon away which just annoyed them.
"Spearow!" they yelled, as their bodies began glowing brightly.
"Oh no!" "Pika!"
"Oh come on!" Elio said, as he watched the three Pokemon began evolving.
"Fearow!" the three Pokemon declared as they stared down at the young man and flew in for the attack however Nebby body began glowing before a wave of energy burst knocking them back as well as destroying the bridge
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Elio screamed as he fell down while holding Nebby.
"OH NO!" the girl gasped, as Pikachu moved closer "Pika! Pi!".
"KOKOOOOO!" A blur said, as it flew from the cave on the other side of the bridge and dashed towards them before catching them and bringing them back up.
When Elio and Nebby were brought back to safety, they were placed by Pikachu and the girl who was on her knees. They all got a good look at the Pokémon.
It had a black body with two large yellow shells on it arms. It had a large, orange plume with bristles along the back. Instead of legs, it had four orange pointed projections which resembled bird feathers. Its eyes were blue with orange lines going through them.
"KOKOOOO!" After the Pokémon saved them, it flew high up into the air at tremendous speeds.
"Wow…" Elio and the girl said in shock watching the Pokemon.
"Pew!" they heard before, looking over at Nebby waving the Pokemon goodbye.
"Oh, Nebby! You're okay" she said, hugging the Pokemon much to its a surprise "You know you shouldn't be using your power like that, last time you did you were out for so long I don't want to see you like that again".
A few tears began welling before she composed herself. "No… I shouldn't say that. I'm sorry, Nebby. I know you were trying to save me that time. And I couldn't even help you in return…"
"Hey are you okay? Is your Pokemon alright?" Elio asked, as Lillie looked back at him.
"Oh yes thank you so much for your help! I am so grateful to you for helping us out of that dangerous spot especially with your Pokemon protecting me" she said.
"Nah, it's alright I'm just glad to see you and your Pokemon are alright" he smiled.
"I see, you are so kind…" she smiled, making Elio's face heat up. "Oh I'm also… Please… Don't tell anybody about this… About seeing Nebby… It's…it's a secret, ok?"
"Huh" Elio blinked, not seeing the reason why to keep it a secret but he just smiled. "Don't worry, your secret's safe with me."
"Thanks, I really appreciate it." She said, before noticing the setting sun.
"Oh no! I didn't realise it was so late" she said, getting up and ripping off the grass.
"Come on Nebby, back in the bag" she said, as Nebby returned to her bag.
"Thank you for your help," she said, before turning around and walking out of the trail.
"O-Oh y-yeah! Bye!" he yelled, waving at her.
"I never even learned her name…" he mumbled, before noticing Pikachu snickering with a cheeky grin.
"And what do you think you're grinning so much at?" he asked, as the Pikachu continued snickering.
"Grr! That's it" he said, chasing after the Pikachu but the two soon noticing something on the ground shining "Huh ``Pi?"
The two walked towards the Object before noticing a strange time with some kind of material in it with markings that made it look like a diamond shape.
"Huh…weird… Might as well keep it, maybe the professor will know something about it" he said, putting the item away.
"Alright Pikachu, let's head home" he said, as the Pokemon nodded climbing up his body and into his shoulder.
Elio the began running down the hill to make it to his new home in the Alolan region.
And done, wow this one was such a fresh of breath air! I had so much fun writing this and I hope you guys liked it as well.
I got a lot of plans for this story, though just to say we won't be starting the adaptation of the game until a few chapters in.
