Chapter 3

The night has covered the capital of Russia. Only lights of street lamps and the light of moon and stars were illuminating Moscow. The streets were already empty and only pairs left on its streets and some people who wanted to breathe with some fresh air. But there was a big unofficial meeting in the center of the capital of the biggest country. It was a meeting of an anti-demon organization of Russia.

"Well our investigators, Kasparov and Tarasov, found that seals in Japan are becoming weaker and weaker. We must do something about it." a first person of medium height said sitting on the left side of the table."

"Don't worry Sablin we will do it." said the other person who was sitting in the right side of the table "But, we must gather some information before we can act."

"I know that our authority likes to do everything concealed, but sometimes we must act a bit uncovered, like Japanese hunters." mentioned Sablin and then continued. "I'd been telling you since I became one of the commanders that we must build good relations with Asagi's Taimanin organization."

"We told you that we must check everything before acting. Remember that we can't act so bravely, because they had traitors in their last authority." said another person, who was sitting on the right side of the table next to Sablin. "And at the same time we have our own traitors who are a thorn in our side."

"I know this all, but we need allies, who can help us to defeat the evil which is growing every day." Sablin was continued to give his point of view. "But still since of foundation of "The Third Law" has passed a big amount of time as I know and nothing was done."

"We sent two spies of ours, so we can watch over the situation." said the first person. "So there's no need to worry."

"You sent the teacher who teaches in the academy and his pupil, is the most wonderful choice that you've ever done, Pavlov." retorted Sablin.

"You're speaking with emotions you must suppress them so you'll understand that we are right." answered Pavlov taking a cigarette into his mouth.

"I would calm if you sent someone like Vahrushev, Potapov or even those two." Yield Sablin onto his opponent.

"You're not the one who decides this Sablin" growled the person sitting in front of them.

Sablin squeezed his fists and shouted looking at the person who was sitting in the front of the table crossing his arms on his chest "Why are you keeping silent?!"

After a deep sigh the person started. "You're still young to give such decisions remember that you're just a commander whose work is in studying of the work. We're working so secretly because we already had a bad experience with the USA hunters, since they are under private business's control. From the other hand we have separatists of our own which hived off and founded "The Third Law", we must pay attention to their work. And also we must kill demons all over the country. But at the same time I think you're right that we must try to cooperate with them." He saw that Sablin sat with a relief sigh and then added "If you want to give your point of view I'd like to hear it right now."

Sablin opened his eyes in astonishment and was happy that someone was really wanted to hear him. He looked at the other two persons with a triumphant look and started.

"First of all it would be better to send these two, at the Gosha Academy. It can be useful to get their help if we need it in future. To investigate the situation over the seals in my opinion…" Sablin hesitated for a moment, but when that person nodded added more confident "It would be better to send captain Fursov with those two."

"Why do you think that these two will be a good choice?" asked the person.

"Yes tell us please." Pavlov interfered into the conversation, and took a serious but also a warning glance what made him stop his provoking.

Pretending not to see this Sablin continued "These two know a lot about demons, they know their nature they can sense them, and also they can tell approximate locations of seals. And working together they can beat much stronger demons that even skilled hunters can't deal with.

"And?" asked the person his partner of conversation.

"And what?" the question was asked on the question. "I don't understand you Sir."

"I mean do you want to take a place as a leader of this operation?"

"Well it depends of you." Sablin said after a brief pause.

"Very well the meeting is over. I'll present your plan to the Head Quarters, but remember that you're still 23 years old, and too young to do such risky operations, but still if they will agree it I'll tell you." said the leader of this party and stood of his place and left the room.

"What are you trying to do you shrimp!" shouted Pavlov as all members of the meeting left the room taking the young commander by his collar.

"I'm trying to change a bit our formed foundations, nothing more." the teenager said to his interlocutor.

"Don't play dumb! I know that you are planning something and be sure that I'll do everything not to except your idea. Our traditions and foundations were formed long ago and just some little shrimp won't change them. Be sure that I'll know it and then you'll pay for disobeying.

"I heard that you tried to change them some years ago, but why did you stop, together we can do something and..." Sablin didn't finish as a fist landed into his cheek and made him fall onto the floor.

"I warned you Dmitry!" Pavlov strained it through his teeth and left the room. Dmitry wiped off the blood from his cheek, got up and left the room being the last one in it.

Leaving the room he tried to gather all parts of their conversation in one picture. From the first view the boss was agreed that his idea to cooperate with Japanese hunters was pretty good. But still, because of formed bureaucracy, it demanded some period of time. He could try to convince the government, but it could take much more time, while they couldn't waste it into the pipe. But when he was about to leave the building someone came to him and said.

"Um sorry, are you Sablin?"

"Yes I am. Did you want something?" as the young hunter finished he saw that the person was holding up the envelope. He took the envelope and thanked the person and left the building.

He walked by the street and looked on the envelope he received several minutes ago. He decided to open it when he reaches his place. He tried to guess who could write it to him, but nothing considerable came on his mind. However stopped is thought and hastened his pace.

When he reached his home he immediately opened the envelope and started to read.

"I see that your point of view is entire different from the most. It'll be difficult to change the formed system. However I share your views and want to change our organization, that's why I give you a chance to display yourself in this operation. All nuances with heads will be dealt by me, but you must give us reports about everything what happens in Japan. If the situation force you go to Japan then go. I'll try to make them give everything you'll need. So don't worry about.

Savrasov."

When he read the letter he squeezed it and shouted loudly, "Yes!" and went to prepare everything more carefully.
