Hey guys and gals, welcome back to my oneshot library and this time around well I decided to try something new.
You see, as some of you know the new season of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is only going to be adapting Kyuranger zords, it's going to be a mostly original show.
Now personally I don't really mind the new take their going with it, heck I actually predicted it right when Cosmic fury was announced but a lot of Toku fans I know really wish Kyuranger was the adaptation.
So I decided to go fuck it, let's put my hat into the ring so this is going to be my adaptation of Kyuranger, Power Rangers Nova Stars.
I hope you guys are interested in this one, because I definitely am so with that said let's get this started.
Op: Sorario days
The year is 4825, and it's been almost 2000 years since humans left their planet to journey through the stars.
Once a planet that was protected by the legendary warriors known as the Power Rangers, the humans began using the energy that gave them their powers: the morphing grid.
They used this energy by fixing the damage and problems they caused to the planet, making the Planet a Utopia run on this energy.
However this made it catch the eye of hundreds of villains throughout the universe looking to conquer this planet.
In order to end the fighting, the humans used this energy one last time to leave the planet and teleport the whole planet to some unknown region in the universe.
Now planetless, the colonies that held the humans wandered the universe looking for some kind of new planet to call him, until they came into contact with the alien races the Alien races the Power Rangers had helped throughout the years to offer their hand in this help.
With the help of these aliens, they managed to unite their forces becoming the Terranova council, an inter-galactic union comprising of 88 planets throughout the universe.
With the help of the council, the universe has taken the first few steps to becoming a universe made of peace…or has it?
Space
Third person P.O.V.
In the middle of space, we see the remains of what looks like a once great space ship floating around, most of the equipment being rusted and old.
Within this wreckage we see someone taking apart looking through what may have survived.
This person was wearing some kind of silver and red space suit with a pair of gravity boots to keep him in the shop, a grapple hook on his arm to pull him to other parts of the ship and a large metal sword which looked to be made of different parts put together. Next to him was a floating silver and yellow container.
"Man come on there has to be something here" he said, looking through it grabbing whatever pieces of metal or tech he can find.
"Hah, looks Saizo's gonna kill me if I can't find anything good… huh?" He blinked, noticing something deep in the ship.
"Ah! Could it be" he said, reaching inside of the ship before pulling out a glowing blue energy core.
"Score! A hadron energy converter this will score me 50 credits at least" he grinned, before hearing beeping.
"Huh?" He blinked, before looking behind him to see several damaged droids dashing towards him.
"Ah crap, how are they still functioning?" he said, putting the converter into the container before pulling out his sword before dashing towards them.
"Hah!" He said, slashing his sword at one of the drones, cutting it in half before another one tried firing at him.
He moved out of the way before quickly moving back up and slashing that one in half.
Several more drones came flying towards him, making the young man gulp "Okay…yup I think I better go".
The young man grabbed the container before he began running through the ship before he aimed and fired at a broken wing of the ship with his hook shot, pulling him to the other side of the ship.
"Saizo! Quick the ship!" He said, jumping from the rubble to rubble, to get away from the drone before a white and red ship flew towards him.
"Come on! Come on!" he said, as a drone blasted at the area under him sending him flying towards the ship before he used his hook shot to pull himself into the ship which quickly blasted off.
"Phew! You came just in time, Saizo" He said, removing his space suit.
This revealed a young man that looked about 16 with black hair and red highlights, he also had a pair of bright red eyes.
"Geez, Leo could you please not rush me like that" he heard, as the now named Leo looked over at an alien walking up to him.
It was a young alien bear that looked about 12 years old, with sky blue fur and green eyes, who was wearing white shirt, a blue hoodie and brown trousers, and from his size he looked to be quite young.
"Sorry Saizo, I didn't wanna get blasted by the drones you know" Leo said, as Saizo sighed "Did you at least get something good this time".
"Yup sure did, check it" he said, showing off the glowing orb device.
"Wow! A functioning Hadron energy converter! That's amazing…not!" He yelled, making Leo blink "Huh?".
"The energy converter only works when plugged into the larger device! You ripping it out like that broke it" he said, making Leo gawk.
"No way! You gotta be kidding" he said, looking at the device before sighing "Aw man, I was looking forward to sending the money back to the orphanage".
"Well hopefully we can get enough from the rest of this stuff" Saizo said, as Leo nodded.
"Good idea, I'll drive," he said, walking up to the ship's control deck as Saizo began examining the tech that was salvaged.
"Come on, come on" he said, fiddling with the control's trying to get the power to start up before finally activating it as he began flying the ship towards their next destination.
Garrika trade Guild
Leo P.O.V.
A few hours later we were flying through an asteroid field towards a large building which was made on top of a particularly large building.
This was a trade building founded in order to help people find quick and easy jobs but eventually grew into a hub for merchants to sell their goods to both travellers and regulars, as well as for Salvagers to sell their finds to the highest bidders for quick cash.
"Phew, finally made it" I said, as I parked the ship in the guild's docking zone.
I was currently in my normal outfit which consisted of a black shirt with a red and black jacket, blue trousers and a pair of sneakers, underneath my shirt was a pendant of some kind.
"I'll head into the merchants area and try to get more supplies," Saizo said, as I nodded.
"Right right, I'll head and sell some of this stuff to Chikan" I said, with Saizo nodding before the two of us split up and walked off.
"Phew hopefully all this stuff will get us a decent payday" I said, pulling the container as I began running ahead.
"Oh come on guys, it'll be fi-woah!" Someone said, running ahead causing the two of us to bump into each other as I fell and dropped the Container.
"Ow what the heck" Leo said, rubbing his head as he looked to see a girl on the ground across from him.
It was a girl about the same age as him with short brown hair and a pair of green eyes and coming out her head was a pair of twin antennas. She was wearing a green Kimono like top with brown shorts and black shoes, and on her arm was a red and blue device.
"Geez, what are you doing running ahead like that?" She said, annoyed as I rubbed my head.
"Sorry sorry I was in a rush" I said, before noticing the Container rolling towards the grate "Oh crap! No! No! No!".
I scrambled to get to the Container before it fell into the grate, but then a foot moved in and stopped the Containers movement.
"Huh" I blinked, before looking up to see an android with a mostly cybernetic body, but he had a normal looking with face with black eyes and yellow iris, along with long red hair with two metal horns, he was also wearing a black tank top over his cybernetic body and a green camo pants with the boots, with the same device on his arm as the girl.
"This your's kid?" he asked, making me nod before another guy walked in.
He was an Aquitian walked in who looked like a normal human with dark skin and wearing a long sleeved yellow sweater with a white shirt underneath and black trousers and shoes. Except his head which was covered with cartilaginous ridges that resemble a mask, encircling the entire head and around his neck and mouth that had two water tanks connected to the side and voice speaker on the front "A working Hadron Energy Converter? Heh, you don't see this everyday"
"So this is impressive tech huh? Where'd ya get it" He said, before tossing it back to me "You don't look like a techy, you steal it?".
"What! No…kinda…I'm a salvager. I found it on an abandoned human ship" I explained, as the girl walked up "What! Bullshit, that should've turned to dust by now, or at least not working"
"Do I look like a liar! I almost died trying to get this thing" I said, making her smirk "Oh really now? A kid like you managed to get your hands on a thing like that"
"Don't call me a kid! We're the same age!" I said, as the two of us began glaring at each other.
"AH! Now now Meilea, don't go starting another fight again" The Aquitian said, to the now named Meilea as she sighed.
"Ugh fine, Kajius and Ox let's go and meet with Reanu" she said, as the two men snickered before they walked off.
"Man, what was up with those guys…" I sighed, before perking up "Well might better go and sell this to Chikan".
I then spun around and made my way deeper into the trading guild, and after a bit of walking around I finally made it to my destination.
"Heya Granny" I said, walking towards an older alien that was smoking a pipe that looked like a humanoid crab with a red armoured body and bright yellow eyes, wearing a pink dress with a yellow jacket.
"Well if it ain't Leoy, what ya got for me today" she asked, making me smirk as I placed down the Hadron Energy Converter ``Ooooh, now that's a good find".
"Hehe, I know right, so how much can you get for me" I asked, as she began examining the device with a special pair of glasses before looking at me "I'd say about 20000 units".
"What? That's it! I risked my neck out for that thing" I said, making her shrug.
"That's life mate, it's still more than I'd give to someone who ain't a friend" she said, crossing her arms ``If you had given me something like military supplies then that would be something different".
"With those terrorists showing up and attacking the Terranova councils operations as well as the Ceasefire between Neo Stinger and Aquelana, the Terranova council is going to need as many weapons as possible to keep the planets in the crossfire protected" she said, looking over at a few armoured soldiers before looking over at me "So how's about it, interested".
"I already told you I'm not getting into that kind of stuff, it's too much trouble" I said, crossing my arms and shaking my head.
"Shame, real shame you've got a talent for this stuff would make a pretty good money if you get into that business" she said, crossing her arms "Well anyway were we?".
"Ugh fine, I'll take 1000 of it here and you know what to do with the rest" I said, as she nodded "Right, right, sure thing I'll transfer you over the credits now".
"Counting on ya" I said, turning around and walking off.
As I did I gripped the pendant hidden underneath my shirt, with a soft smile on my face "Hope you like this gift, Nana".
"Hmm, and now I need to find where Saizo went" I said, looking around to see where he ran off too.
"Leo Regulus, correct" I heard, before looking over to see someone walking towards me.
It was a suited woman with silver hair tied up into a ponytail with a pair of red glasses, she also wore an all silver suit with a white shirt, silver skirt with block tights and black high heels. Next to her were some bald men in suits that were much taller than me.
"Uh, y-yes" I gulped, feeling the tense atmosphere coming off from them.
"I wish to confirm something, you are from the Leo Galaxy correct" she asked, making me blink "Uh yeah sure am, Fukata village on Aslan why do you ask"
"Master Garrika has requested an audience with you, if you would please follow me" she said, making me blink in surprise.
"Eh? The owner himself wants to talk with me?" I said, pointing to myself as she nodded "Correct, please follow me".
"S-Sure thing" I said, before she turned around and made her way towards the highest part of the building with me following close behind.
"So why does he want to talk with me? I didn't break any rules did I?" I asked, making her shake her head "No…it is better if you hear it from Garrika himself".
"Right…" I said, as we made it to an office before she turned to me "Please come in, and be mindful of what you say".
"Alright…" I said, before walking inside only to find a very fancy looking office room with red velvet carpet, many types of paintings and plants, some couches and there were two doors to the left and right one leading to a bed and the other a freaking hot tub.
"Ah there you are, thank you for coming to me in such a quick manner" Garrika said, as I got a look at what he looked like.
He was a lizard-like alien that had the appearance of an egyptian mask throughout its whole body with arms, legs, tail and a back collar piece being gold with sky blue stripes. His torso was a little pudgy being covered by a red vest over a white shirt with two pairs of egyptian eyes in the chest and a postiche in the waist. His head was lizard-like done in purple with a gold piece on top having big jaws and a gold tooth and his feet had the appearance of snails or slugs "You can call me Garrika Sluga Hokoin the third, or Garrika for short of the Garrika Trade Guild"
"U, Y-Yeah p-pleasure to make you acquaintance" I said, rubbing my head as I looked at the variety of female servants around him.
"I've been hearing quite a bit of you around the Guild lately, you're a salvager of quite impressive skill especially for your age" Garrika said, making me grin "Hehe, well I don't want to sell myself too short".
"Yes, well I wished to ask of you a little bit of a favour" He said, making me blink 'Wow, a job straight from the owner I knew I was good but not that good…this sounds a bit too good to be true…maybe I should talk to Saizo abou-'
"The reward for the job is 200000 credits." He said, a greedy grin on my face and if I could, literal dollar signs would be appearing in my eyes right now.
"TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND CREDITS!" I screamed, in absolute shock as he grinned.
"That's correct and as an even special incitement, half of it will transfer over to you knowing the other half will be rewarded to you after the job is complete" he said, as I stepped back a bit.
"Holy shit…200000 credits…I have to be dreaming." I said, before looking up at him. "I swear I'm going to use every skill I have as a Salvager towards completing this job!"
"Hohoho, you would agree without even hearing the details of this job? Such excitement I like that." he said, making me blink before shaking my head "Right, right what kind of job is it?".
"Hmm, are you sure you have the skills for this job" he asked, making me nod "Of course! I've been through plenty of dangerous stuff",
"Well if you say so, the crew will explain the job" he said, before turning towards one of the doors "Bring them in".
"Yes sir" The servants said as I blinked, before looking over to see the servants opening the door as several people coming in from the door to my left.
The first alien looked like a french aristocrat wearing a green coat with gold orbs over a black suit with a ruffle cravat over the abdomen and coming out of the green suit sleeves and a gold lined flap over the front of the waist as well as black boots with the gold orbs, over said coat and connecting with the black suit underneath was a big black collar piece that reached over the shoulders lined with gold. His whole head had the appearance of an aristocrat hat, done all in white with with gold lines shaped like deer antlers acting like eyebrows for the small red eyes, as well as a golden mouth bit shaped like a moustache. On his hand was a golden spear shaped like an arrow.
The other alien looked like a an alien Tyrannosaurus Rex, with an armoured black mask over his head and spines going down his back to his tail, he also had a black armour clothes, including his top which has red and gold lining, black armoured gloves with large claws and black armoured pants with spikes coming out from the sides.
In the middle was a humanoid alien with long navy coloured hair with red lining and across his face was a black mask hiding his face. He wore a cyan coloured shirt with a navy trench coat and black linings and long black trousers and armoured boots.
"Wait…you guys are all higher ups in the Terranova council aren't you?" I said, looking at them "Cool"
"So…" The Humanoid alien said, crossing his arms "We need a transport through the Leo Galaxy, we've recently detected a power source, most likely from an abandoned human colony ship, that the terrorists may get their hands on, so we need someone from the Galaxy who knows their way around and is familiar with Salvaging that can help us claim the power source before they can".
"So that's why you specifically need me, well alright I like a challenge" I said, with Garrika nodding "That's right, I had originally intended on getting the best of the best when it comes to Salvagers but when they said specifically someone from the Leo Galaxy I know I had to go with you Leo my boy".
"Hehehe, well thank you kindly" I grinned, before hearing hmph coming from one of the aliens.
"Hmph, might not be a good idea to hire a child salvager, he'd wet himself the moment we see something dangerous." The aristocat like alien said, making me growl "Hey watch what you're saying, I've been through plenty of dangerous places and come out just fine."
"Dangerous places huh?" I heard, before looking over at the Dinosaur like alien, "Well maybe we should…TEST THAT THEORY!"
"Huh? Woah!" I yelped, quickly moving away as the Dinosaur-like alien rushed towards me slashing away with his sharp claws.
I then quickly drew my sword, blocking his next attack before our sword slashed at each other a few times before ending with clashes, as I tried pushing him away but he continued standing his ground.
'Damn, there has to be something I can- there!' I said, before firing my hook shot towards the wall.
"What!" the alien said, surprised as I was pulled away from him before spinning around to slash his back.
"That's enough".
The two of us then stopped, as we looked over us to see the Masked Alien walking up to me "Tell me, where did you learn to fight like that"
"Heh, gotta keep some secrets right?" I said, as he crossed his arms.
"Well you got some skill too and plenty of Guts" The Dinosaur said, as the Aristocrat crossed his arms "More like no brains"
"We're setting off in an hour, get yourself ready before that" The masked man said before he and his allies walked off as I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
Cafe
Leo P.O.V.
"You seriously took that job," Saizo said, as the two of us sat in a cafe as we waited for the time for us to depart.
"Well I mean yeah, 200000 credits are on the line I can't say no to that" I said, sipping some juice as Saizo.
"I don't know…something just doesn't feel right about this…" He said, as I leaned back.
"I mean it seemed pretty legit, they were officers of the Terranova council after all and it has nothing to do with the war" I said, as Saizo sighed "It just feels like you're being set up…maybe you shouldn't do it".
"Oh come on Saizo. You're overreacting, what's the worst thing that could happen?" I smiled, crossing my arms.
"You could just be used as a gopher to take care of the traps or they could be after your treasure." Saizo deadpanned, making me grip the pendant under my shirt before I rolled my eyes "Ah stop worrying so much, it's not gonna be that bad".
"Well what am I meant to do! They said they only needed you. I doubt you'd be able to convince them to bring me along" he said, making me smirk as I took out my phone.
"Actually there was something I wanted you to do" I said, transferring most of the money I had gotten today while leaving 10000 credits for myself "Send most of that to Nana and the others back home, then use the rest for whatever you want".
"Ugh fine, you're clearly dead set on this so might as well as let you make your own mistake" Saizo said, getting up before looking down at me "Just…don't die on me alright".
"Heh, sure thing lil bro" I smiled, getting up before turning around and heading to the ship to start the job.
Leo Galaxy
Third person P.O.V.
"So this is the place" The Dinosaur-like alien, who Leo found is called Bluntar said, as the four of them flew towards the planet they had to do the job on.
"Looks like it, what's the planet's name?" Leo asked, as the Aristocat Alien crossed his arms, who Leo found is called Pargit "It's called Klein two, it's the planet where the last of the Sirians went extinct".
"You mean where that big battle took place, jeez" Leo said, as he moved the ship down wards closer to the planet's surface before he began flying through the forest.
"Why are you flying so close to the ground? It'd be easier to fly straight to the place" Bluntar asked, as Leo pointed upward "Storms are too strong, we'd get blown away if we tried going from above".
"Fair enough" Leo heard, looking back to see the masked Alien leaning back against the alien, who Leo knew now was named Fasen "Since we're almost there, we might as well go over the plan".
"Right right, we'll stay in front to watch out for traps while you and the kid stay in the back to watch out for any creatures that are wandering around" Bluntar said, as Pargit crossed his arms "This seems too easy, the terrorists should be here any moment now-".
Suddenly they were shaken by some ships shooting at us, as Leo looked out the window to see three weird ships tailing them.
They were 3 strange looking machines all based on animals. One of them was black bull with four sets of silver caterpillar legs, two made of three gears on the front and two gears on the back. The head of the bull was done in silver with a yellow visor and some kind of black transparent globe on top of the back connected to a silver arc.
The other was a green chameleon with brown details on the sides and silver legs. The head had buggy red eyes and a silver nose with the same translucent globe attached to the tail only done in green.
The last one was a yellow swordfish with three silver fins on top and the sides acting like jet wings as well as a silver crest with yellow stripes, the head had silver details on the nose as well as blue eyes. On the tail was the same translucent globe only done in yellow.
"Oh crap! What are those things!" Leo said, swerving the ship out of the way as the ships continued shooting at them.
"Those are the ships of the terrorists! I knew they would come here" Pargit scoffed, as he turned to Leo "What are you waiting for! Go faster".
"Right! Right!" Leo said, having the ship go even faster as it made its way through the forest before finding himself in front of a gigantic abandoned ship.
"Holy shit…" Leo said, looking at the sheer size of the ship as he flew up it.
"What? Getting scared kid" Bluntar said, as Leo looked back at home "What! No, I just haven't seen a ship this big before".
A few minutes later they managed to park their ship on top of the gigantic ship, before they walked out.
"The terrorists are on their way, Leo, you and I will go into the ship and get the power source while Bluntar and Pargit you two keep the terrorists busy" Fasen said, as the others nodded.
"Heh, alright but you better not keep us waiting" Bluntar said, as Fasen and Leo made their way into the ship.
As they did, we see a camera activating and scanning the two of them before focusing on Leo and beeping.
DNA confirmed, turning off defences now
Meanwhile outside we see Bluntar and Pargit flew down before three people jumped down, revealing Meilea, Ox and Kajius
"AH! Lucky! They left us some guys to have fun!" Ox grinned, cracking his knuckles while Kajius crossed his arms "Looks like they aren't letting us go without a fight".
"Alright! You two keep these guys busy I'll go and get the Nova Star" Meilea said, with a smirk on her face.
They all nodded and took out some items that looked like small globes of various stars with silver stands.
They then spun the items, the shapes forming different symbols within.
TAURUS NOVA STAR!
CHAMELEON NOVA STAR!
DORADO NOVA STAR!
The three then lifted their arms revealing wrist-held blasters in red, blue, silver, and black with orange barrels, placing each in the center of the they moved it in the direction of the barrels.
MORPHIN COUNTDOWN!

As the countdown went down the trio began to lean downwards, rotating their arms before aiming the barrels forward
"BLAST OFF!"
They then pulled the trigger on their morphers, shooting stars of their respective colours out at the ground which formed into aura versions of the constellations they represented and collided with them creating a bright light which blinded their opponents.
When the two looked over they saw a group of three people wearing suits of different colours black, green and yellow.
All of them had the same suit basis composed of a full skin under suit completely done in the colour they represent with silver lines running through the torso to the legs and silver rings on the forearms thighs and shins as well as white gloves.
They had silver and black chest armour that also covered the shoulder with a star done in the representative colour coming from the left side with an orb surrounded by a silver ring in the middle of the star and some shoulder pieces done in their representative colour.
Although the suits were alike there were some differences among them in their bodies and helmets.
The black one was bigger than the others having extra armour on the shoulders, arms and legs becoming more muscular as well as having hoof shaped boots and had the head of a bull from a front perspective with the horns extending further from the helmet.
The green one had a skirt as well as a more petite figure and the green one had an oval visor with a curled up tail coming from above as well as a black head piece with knobs on the sides with a swirl pattern.
Lastly the yellow one had a fish like visor in front perspective with its fins extending from the sides and above, and from the side it could be seen a sharp point extending from the middle of the visor.
"NINJA STAR OF CHAMELEON GALAXY! CHAMELEON GREEN!" Chameleon Green said, moving down while striking a pose.
"FIGHTING STAR OF THE TAURUS GALAXY! TAURUS BLACK!" Taurus Black yelled, rolling his arms before punching his arm.
"WISDOM STAR OF DORADO GALAXY! DORADO YELLOW!" Dorado Yellow said, slashing the air a bit.
"POWER RANGERS! NOVA STARS!" They declared, before rushing towards the two aliens as they got ready to fight.
"Ouisha!" Taurus Black yelled, as he tackled Bluntar pushing him back a bit as the Dino monster tried slashing at the Ox ranger.
Bluntar then grabbed Taurus Black's waist before throwing him back, forcing the ranger to skid back a bit.
"Not bad Dino boy" Taurus Black said, kicking the ground a bit before he rushed into Bluntar and tackled him again.
Bluntar was going to do the same thing again, but was surprised when Taurus Black used a wrestling move and suplexed the alien onto the ground.
"Wahaha! How do you like that" Taurus Black cheered, raising his arms as the Dino alien growled.
"Woho, not a lot huh? Well then, Nova Axe!" he yelled, taking out the axe weapon before rushing towards the Dino Alien.
"Nova Blade!" Dorado Yellow said, taking out a small dagger like weapon that looked similar to the Nova Axe.
He then tried to slash at Pargit who moved out of the way, before thrusting his staff forward forcing the Yellow ranger to jump back.
Pargit proceeded to shoot several energy arrows towards Dorado Yellow who manoeuvred out of the way.
One arrow was about to hit him but Chameleon Green moved in and slashed it back with her Nova Rapier.
"Meilea, what are you doing! Quick get into the ship!" He said, as Chameleon Green nodded.
"Hah, I'm not going to let you." Pargit said, aiming his arrow at the Green Ranger.
"Sorry, but how can you hit me if you can't see me." She said, before suddenly turning invisible "WHAT!".
Chameleon Green then snuck past Pargit and quickly made her way towards the inside of the ship as her allies continued fighting.
Inside ship
Third person P.O.V.
"Hmm…Strange" Fasen said, as he and Leo walked through the interior of the ship searching for the power source.
"What's up?" Leo asked, looking back to him as Fasen looked around.
"None of the senses are activating, despite us being intruders." Fasen said, as Leo shrugged "Maybe it's just not working''.
"A ship this size? I don't think so…" he said, looking around a bit "Something else is going on here…I'm just not sure what…"
"Well hopefully it's nothing too bad" Leo said, as they made their way down the stairs "By the way, I was just wondering what's up with the mask?"
"None of your business" he said, making Leo sweatdrop
"Fair enough I guess…" Leo said, as they made their way deeper into the ship until finally arriving at what looked like a large locked door with a hand symbol on the front of it.
"This is the place" Fasen said, as they stood in front of the door "We're gonna need to find a way to get past it…".
"Well usually I need to find an Access port or something" Leo said, as he started patting the door to see if he can find something to turn on "Then it's just a matter of hacking it".
"You've been to ships like this before?" Fasen asked, as Leo shrugged "Yeah, but nothing this big usually it's just like smaller abandoned ships or ones destroyed in battle".
As Leo patted the door down he passed his hand by the hand symbol causing it to flash "Uh oh".
DNA CONFIRMED! UNLOCKING DOORS NOW!
The two then watched as the door in front of them quickly unlocked and opened up, much to their surprise.
"Well uh that's new" Leo said, as they saw what was inside which was one of the orbs the rangers had, but Blue in colour
'That looks just like…' Leo said, gripping his pendant under his shirt as they made their way towards their treasure but then several blasts were shot at them stopping them.
"Like hell I'm letting you get a Nova Star" They heard, looking back to see Chameleon Green standing there.
"Hmph, of course the nuisances would get in the way" Fasen said, as he drew his sword "Get the Nova Star, I'll keep her busy".
"Woah!" Chameleon Green said, moving out of the way as Fasen dashed towards her to slash at her.
"Man those guys are quick, gonna need to go all out" she said, as she raised her hand "NOVA RAPIER!".
This summoned a red and blue rapier weapon which she used to block Fasens strikes before moving back.
She then pulled the trigger on the device on her arms shooting several blasts at Fasne who jumped back.
"And now how do you like this!" she said, pulling the Nova Star off her device before placing it on the hilt of her weapon causing it to flash green.
CHAMELEON SLASH!
Her sword then glowed with a green energy before she thrusted forward, with the blade extending like a whip towards Fasen.
Fasen blocked the attacks with his sword, before spinning around and sending an energy wave towards the ranger knocking her back.
As this was happening we see Leo slowly making his way towards the Nova Star as the pendant under his shirt began glowing a red colour.
He then reached out and took the Nova Star before examining it, followed by him taking out his own Pendant which was Nova Star but red in colour.
'I knew it, they are the same' he said, before noticing the light emanating from his Nova Star 'Wait…it's never done that before'.
"Tch, what is he waiting for?" Fasen said, looking at Leo as he defended himself from Chameleon Green's attack only for his eyes to widen when he noticed what was in Leo's hands.
"No way! Two of the Nova Stars!" Chameleon Green said, while Fasen got serious and dashed forward.
"Gah!" Leo grimaced, as he slowly looked down to see a sword piercing through his chest from behind.
"Sorry kid…" Fasen said, pulling his sword out as Leo collapsed to the ground "You were too much of a risk…"
Fasen then reached out for the two Nova Stars, picking up the Blue One but before he could get the Red one several blasts were fired at him.
"You…you murder!" Chameleon Green yelled, as Fasen rolled his eyes and dashed towards the Green ranger with the two of them fighting each other.
As they did, we see Leo as he struggled to reach out for the Nova Star with the last of his energy trying to keep himself from passing out due to sheer pain.
'I…I can't die now…I can't!' Leo thought, dragging himself to the dropped Nova Star 'I still need to help everyone out…'.
Leo continued reaching out…until finally he passed out due to sheer pain and blood loss…but as he fell asleep…several voices coursed through his mind.
"It's you and me forever! Right Leo?"
"Make sure you'll take care of yourself, and come to visit Leo".
"Leo…Promise me…you're going to survive…"
Leo's eyes then shot open while glowing red as he then reached out and grabbed the Nova Star.
"HAH!" Fasen yelled, as he sent a heavy slash right at Chameleon Greens chest knocking her towards the wall "Stay down if you know what's good for you"
LEO NOVA STAR!
"What!" Fasen said, turning around to see Leo standing up with his wound now gone as his body was covered in a glowing red aura.
"You gotta be kidding me, that dude" Chameleon Green said, getting back up as he raised his arm which materialised the Red, Blue and Silver device, which Leo then placed the Nova Star on before he moved it in the direction of the barrels.
MORPHIN COUNTDOWN!

As the countdown went down the Leo began to lean downwards, rotating his arm before aiming the barrel forward
"...Blast Off…"
He then pulled the trigger on the morpher, shooting stars of his respective colour out at the ground which formed into aura versions of Leo constellation and collided with him creating a bright light which blinded Fasen.
The two of them watched shock, as Leo had transformed into a new ranger form.
His suit looked similar to Dorado Yellow with a few things different, like his orb on his chest with the face of a Lion on it and his helmet had a V shaped visor with the profile of lion roaring looking right at the top of it.
"He's the Red Ranger!" Chameleon Green gasped, as Fasen growled and readied his sword while the Red Ranger stared at him before raising his hand and summoning a red sword with a large blue blade.
"...Nova Sword…"
The two of them then rushed towards each other, their blades clashing as they fought each other.
Fasen thrusted forward at the Leo Red as he spun up into the air before shooting several blasts at Fasen knocking him back.
Leo Red continued throwing several slashes at Fasen who blocked each attack but it was clear he was starting to get pressured.
The Red Ranger then moved up, throwing several kicks at Fasen, before following the attack with a side slash knocking him towards the wall.
Fasen charged up energy and threw several energy slashes towards Leo Red who rolled out of the way, dodging each slash.
He then rushed forward before slashing upward causing Fasen to free the Blue Nova Star which Leo Red caught.
"Woah! You got it back!" Chameleon Green said, running up to him "Seriously dude, where did you get that Nova Star!"
Leo Red continued staying silent though much Chameleon Green's confusion LUh hello? Earth to Red, you in there?'.
"Ugh…" They heard, looking over to see Fasen getting back up, his mask cracking a bit revealing a red eye as he growled "Doesn't matter how many of you there are! I'll take all of your Nova Stars".
"Oh yeah we'll see about that" Chameleon Green said, as she and Leo red raised their weapon before pulling their Nova Stars off their devices.
They then proceeded to place them on the hilt of their weapons causing them to flash Red and Green.
LEO SLASH!
CHAMELEON SLASH!
Red swung his sword downward while Green thrusted her sword forward, sending energy slashes towards Fasen who blocked the attack.
"I have had…ENOUGH!" Fasen was pushed back a bit by the incoming attack before he gripped his blade, and threw the attack right back towards the two rangers.
"Gah!" They screamed, as the attack sent them crashing through the walls of the ships and into the forest below.
"Hah…hah…damn it…" he said, before turning around making his way to regroup with his allies.
Back in the forest however, we see both Leo and Meilea, who had returned to normal, on the ground of the forest floor, both unconscious as the rain poured down on them.
However we see a blue wolf-like foot stomping down, on the ground as the alien examined the two rangers.
And done, woo boy that was a very fun one shot to try out especially since I got to make it a lot darker than other Power Ranger Seasons.
And as some of you may have noticed, I based some of this off of the start of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, well that's because I had just finished the game when I started writing this so I took some inspiration.
