By sunrise, they all get up and go down to the kitchen and start making breakfast and watching TV.
"How's your hand feeling Carlitos?" James asks.
"Still sore but not as bad as yesterday." Carlos replied.
"Good,"Kendall says, pouring orange juice into a cup.
"We have to look for the dog that hurt me yesterday."Carlos says, insistingly.
"And what if we find it?" Kendall asks.
It's dangerous because of your injury.
"We can catch it," Carlos says, like it's easy to do.
"Dude, we have no idea how to do that," James says.
"Don't you guys believe me?" Carlos sadly says.
"Of course, we believe you, amigo," Logan reassured him.
After breakfast, they get dressed and then proceed to go outside and start their search.
By noon, they're exhausted from struggling to walk around in the numerous number of leaves.
"We've been out here for three hours, Carlos," Kendall says, annoyed.
There aren't any dogs out here.
"I know what I saw and it was a dog!" Carlos angrily shouts at the tall blonde.
"I'm fully aware of the pain you're in but I didn't give you that injury. You were the one jogging alone at night in a place you've never been to! "Kendall snaps back.
"So it's MY fault?!" Carlos yells.
You're blaming me. Yeah, I summoned an imaginary dog to bite my hand!!
"I didn't say anything close to that. You're overreacting! "Kendall responds, rolling his eyes and ready to be anywhere else.
"You're overreacting!" Carlos, snarls, shoving him down.
"Whoa! Carlos chill out." Logan says, standing between them.
The pain is making you miserable and agitated, isn't it?
"Yeah, I'm sorry Kendall," Carlos says, ashamed of himself.
I'm a terrible person.
"No, you're not." The tall blonde says, standing up.
Even if we don't find that dog, it's OK. He's gone now. We'll make sure he doesn't hurt you again.
"Thanks Amigo. I appreciate that." Carlos says, and they returned to the cabin.
Later that day, an animal show is on but James changes it to a sports show. The remote was ripped from his hand.
"What the heck?!" He says, not expecting that.
Carlos, you need to give me back the remote right now!!
"You turned away my brothers!" Carlos yelled.
"What are you talking about?" James says, confused.
"You must pay for your crime!" The young Latino says, launching himself at him.
"Ahhh!" James screams as he was knocked to the floor.
"Whoa!" Kendall says, coming out of the bathroom and running over to separate them.
Logan! I need your help!
"What happened?" Logan says, coming downstairs.
"They're fighting and I don't know why!" Kendall says, struggling to pull James away from their angry friend.
"What is going on here? James, are you OK?" Logan says to the taller brunette.
"Psychologically I don't know. I changed the channel to a hockey game and he freakin' attacked me! He said I turned away his brothers! What does that even mean?!" James replied, panicking.
"I don't know. Carlos, what you just did to James wasn't nice at all." Logan, scolds him.
"Are you feeling OK?" Kendall asks.
"Yeah, but my hand is getting worse with the pain," Carlos says.
I'm sorry I tackled you, James.
"It's OK. You're in pain. What you said about me turning away your brothers didn't make any sense," James says.
"Did I say that? I don't know why," Carlos says.
Logan gives him pain medicine which helps him stay calm for the rest of the day.
On Wednesday morning, Carlos' mood darkens quickly. James pours some cereal into a bowl and starts to eat.
"That's my bowl, didn't you see my hand on it? "Carlos says, annoyed and pointing to it.
"I got this bowl out of the cabinet. Your bowl is right in front of you," James says.
Are you feeling OK?
"I'm not sure why I lashed out at you again. I'm sorry." Carlos says.
"It's OK. You need time to heal." James says.
Later that day, they're all chilling out on the couch watching TV.
"Carlos, have you ever gotten up in the middle of the night to search for food in the refrigerator like you did last night?" Logan asks during a commercial break.
"He did what?" Kendall says, surprised.
"This is news to me," James says, in the same tone.
"No, I've never done that. Is something wrong with me? "Carlos says, concerned.
"I'm not sure, but don't stress about it." Logan says, chomping on a piece of toast.
We'll figure this out together. Your strange behavior is just so unexpected.
"I'm sorry Logie. I never meant to hurt James," Carlos says.
"You have nothing to apologize for," Logan reassures him.
I'm not mad. Neither Kendall nor James are upset either.
"Good," Carlos said, relieved.
Later that night, the young Latino growls softly in his sleep and keeps rubbing his injured hand, unaware of his future transformation.
