Chapter 21
It didn't take much time for Kuro's team to return, to the shelter, Maki admitted that the mission was really exhausting. Only the way took pretty much time. They left their shelter at half past eleven, and now the time was almost half past three. While they were returning to their base all members of Kuro's team were split in pairs.
"Almost five hour on a mission, huh." Maki said admitting that it was the longest mission in her life.
"Maki, did you say something?" Aki overtook and asked Maki.
"Huh?" she was surprised when Aki asked her, the girl wasn't ready to be asked something, "Well nothing special, I just found that this mission was one of the longest for us."
"Yeah, it also was pretty long for us too." Aki smiled, "If you wouldn't come in time, I don't even know what could happen to us." Aki said lowering his voice.
Maki noticed it and decided to cheer her friend, "Don't worry, each of us makes mistakes, but it's important to amend them in right time. So it's good to make mistakes while we're students, because we will learn how not to make them in the future."
"Wow, never expected to hear something mature from you." Aki was amused hearing such words form Maki.
"Hey, even I can be mature from time to time." Maki put on a semblance that she was given umbrage.
"Sorry." the boy tried to apologize, "I didn't want to injure you." Aki didn't know what to do, "I mean…" he wanted to say something, but the heard Kuro's voice behind them.
"Don't worry each of us do mistakes, but it's important to know how to amend them." the voice started, "You all are still students, that why it's normal for you to do mistakes, because they teach you not to do them in the future." they saw that Kuro was in front of them with the man in white uniform, they turned their heads and Rinko who was in pair with Hush. Kuro's voice was slightly deformed, so it was easy to understand that it was a record.
"So even you can be mature from time to time?" Aki asked his friend, narrowing his eyes.
"Well… I… how should I say it…" Maki didn't know how to answer she looked at Hush with angry eyes, but, he didn't pay too much attention at her, and was continuing his jumping from one building to another one. Rinko laughed and Aki did absolutely the same, "Please, don't laugh!" she became red.
"So, how was it to work with Hush?" Avalanche asked Kuro, "If Mechanic is a leader now, and then he wanted to go with our dumb friend."
"Well." Kuro pondered, "It was difficult, it's really impossible to know what he thinks about, and it also worrying when he do whatever he wants." but then he added with a smile, "However it was also interesting and exemplarily at the same time."
"So you liked to work with him." Avalanche asked him.
"Kinda." Kuro nodded and then asked him again, "By the way, are you a devoted member?"
"Huh?" the white haired man didn't get what the blind hunter meant.
"Mechanic told, that your organization have devoted members, are you one of them?" Kuro elucidated.
"Ah, you mean this." Avalanche understood what his ally meant. "No, I'm not a devoted member." he said, "However; I hope that I'll become it soon."
"I see." Kuro said.
"Can I ask you about something?" Avalanche asked him suddenly.
"What is it?" Kuro responded him.
"How should I say it?" Avalanche pondered slightly, "Do you know Mechanic?"
"Yeah, we are not friends, but good acquaintances."
"I see." The white haired said and they continued their way, sharing their expressions of joint work.
When they came to the base, it was half past three, the sun started to show up slowly. When they entered it they saw that another team was already there.
"It seems that we're a bit faster than you are." they heard a merry childish voice, "Wow! Even Avalanche is with you!" the boy widened his eyes seeing, the white haired man.
"Nice to see you, Kangaroo." Avalanche combed the hair of the boy, and then he saw how people started to appear at the hall of the Taimanin's shelter. He saw Murasaki before, but the other two, the girl with straw hair, and a tall boy, were new for him.
"Commander Yatsu!" Igarasi and Moritani exclaimed together, they were happy to see that their chief was fine, "Even Maki, Aki, and Rinko are here too." Igarasi added seeing the other three young hunters.
"Nice to see you again Igarasi-san, Moritani-san." Rinko turned to the two.
"Yeah nice to see you too, Akiyama-san." Moritani nodded, he was glad to see familiar faces, "How are you? I've heard you were captured too."
"Not bad." Aki responded, "There were some tortures, but I think me and Akiyama-san could bear them perfectly."
"Oh, nice to hear it." Igarasi, was impressed hearing this, "It seems that you're becoming a really good hunter."
"Thank you, Igarasi-san, but I have lots of things to improve and work with, to become as strong as you and as Akiyama-san." the boy rubbed the back of his head.
While they were talking Hush came to Mechanic. Paul understood what he wanted he started to inspect the arms of metal person. "Did you use the ultrasound?" Hush nodded, "You know that it's dangerous for you to use it in this body, don't you?" Hush nodded again and then looked at the young hunters that were sharing their impressions with each other; even Kangaroo was standing near with them. Paul looked at them too, "Never knew that you'll concern about strangers, especially if they're Taimanins." Paul chuckled; he turned his head to Hush, now the metal person was watching straight at Paul. Paul started to feel himself uncomfortable under such gaze. Hush raised his head and hit Mechanic's forehead with his one, "Bastard, what was that for?!" all who presented in the room looked at them. Mechanic put on a semblance that nothing happened, but still rubbed his forehead and started to examine the damage of his arms. They talked for a little and until Paul tried to repair Hush's arms. Of course, it was impossible to do it, because of the lack of needed equipment, but still Hush could now move with his arms, bad, but could, "Well, I think it would be enough for now, the rest will be done on our base." Hush nodded and tried to move with his arms again.
"Have you finished?" Avalanche came to him.
"Yeah for now, it's all I can do."
"Got it." Avalanche referred to Mechanic and shouted, "Kangaroo, we're leaving!"
"Already?" the boy was a bit sad, he started to like these young Taimanins he even could have a little talk with Kuro and Murasaki, the boy understood that the woman seemed cold and severe, but still she was a good person in her heart.
"If you want you can go with us." Kuro said squatting in front of him, "You'll be a perfect hunter in the future, so if you want…" Kuro wasn't able to finish as Kangaroo interrupted him.
"No, thank you, you all are good people, but 'Red Division' is my family, that why I can't betray them." Avalanche and Mechanic smiled slightly, and he added, "But it will be good to work with you again someday." the boy smiled widely and came to the white haired man.
"Well see you." Mechanic shook Kuro's hand and then watched at Murasaki, "It was a good experience to fight with you, Murasaki."
"I think the same." Murasaki nodded and shook Paul's hand.
"They came to the window that Paul, Hush and Kangaroo the same window to leave the shelter of their allies they, they used when they entered it.
"Prepare yourself!" Murasaki declared, today we are returning at Gosha village, "We have nothing to do here anymore."
"But, sensei, don't you think that these people will continue their business." Moritani asked his teacher.
"I don't think so. As we all know now two of their bases were destroyed, they will need a plenty of time to restore it, and we also understood that they have connection with 'The Third Law', that's why it would be a better idea to focus on them first."
"I see." The tall merely replied.
"I'll inform Igawa-san that we are returning today." and then the blue haired woman left the room they all were in. Kuro followed her. Igarasi and Moritani preferred to have some rest before leaving. Rinko felt that Maki wanted to speak with Aki about something and decided to leave the room too leaving the alone. Aki wanted to go too, but was stopped with Maki's voice.
"I'm glad..."
"What?" Aki didn't hear her words.
Then she rushed and hugged him, he was surprised with such act and he even was taken aback a bit. "I'm glad that you're alright." Maki hugged him tighter and her and put her head onto his neck. "I didn't know what I would do if I knew that something bad would happen to you."
"Everything was according with the plan isn't it?"
"Idiot!" Maki shouted, "If not them we could never find you! When I understood that your signal disappeared I didn't know what to do at all!"
"Maki." Aki hugged his friend, he wanted to say something, in order to calm and comfort Maki, but she continued.
"Why you didn't allow me to take the role of bait! I'm not so smart, maybe you would be able to think of something and help with your thinking!"
"Maki, I can let you take part in such risky and reckless things." he felt her tears he never saw her like this, and he didn't know what to do, to comfort her. He looked at her face, and said, "After all everything is alright so there's no need to worry about…" Maki interrupted him pressing her lips against his ones.
"I don't even know what I would do if something would happen with the one I love." Maki said quietly.
"Wait, do you mean you love me?" Aki was surprised hearing this.
"Have you only realized it?" Maki sobbed at his shoulder hiding her face at his shoulder again.
"But I thought we were only childhood friends." Aki still couldn't believe to what he was hearing.
"That's why I didn't want to confess to you." Maki sobbed again, "Everything what relate to love is unknown to you and I didn't know how to attract your attention. I was afraid that I'll only frighten you and our friendship will be ruined."
"You know that I would never do to ruin it, but…" the boy stumbled, his cheeks became red, and he didn't how to say right the thoughts that were in his head, "When I was in captivity I had plenty of time to think." he started, "And I think I have some feelings to you to, it's difficult to describe them, but I think that I love you too." Maki raised her head and looked at boy's face, when Aki saw her face, his cheeks became redder, "You always surrounded with someone and I didn't know how to say it to you."
"So you feel the same towards me?" Maki couldn't belive to what she was hearing.
"How about to start dating?" Aki asked her looking at his friend, but then he turned his head away, as his cheeks were red as cherry.
"I agree, and when we return let's go out somewhere together." Maki said calming down.
"Let's." Aki mumbled.
"Base sweet base." Kangaroo exclaimed when they were in the walls of their base, "The first thing I'll do is resting."
"And I'll go and repair the arms of our taciturn person." Mechanic said to the others.
"Not so fast." the crew heard a strict and demanding voice. The voice was cold and it made them all flesh creep except Hush.
"Commander?" Avalanche, was surprised seeing a man that was standing in front of him, "But why are you here?"
"To have a talk with you about cooperating with Taimanins." the man said narrowing his eye.
"How did you know about this?" Avalanche couldn't believe that the man with the eye patch has already been well up with it, but then he turned his head to Hush, 'Only if you were the one who told everything.' he thought.
"Commander, let me explain…" Mechanic tried to explain everything to the man, but Avalanche put his hand onto Paul's shoulder and said him.
"Don't worry; I'll tell everything, after all you gave me a brief report about your work." Avalanche said, Mechanic nodded, and put his hand into the pocket of his vest; he took out a flash drive out of it, and threw it to the white haired man.
"Here's the information I told you." Avalanche nodded at his words and followed his commander.
When they were in the room were only several desks and chair Commander asked his subordinate.
"I hope you have got something that is worthy of attention." he said sitting onto the chair that was in the middle of the room.
The man had fair hair; there also was an eye patch that was closing his left eye. The man was wearing a grey vest above black body suit. He had metal boots with metal plates and gloves with the same plates, his gloves were white. The opened eye was green. The hair of the man was combed aback. It was pretty difficult to read that man's expressions, but Avalanche prepared himself for worse.
"Well, why did you decide to cooperate with Taimanins?" Commander repeated his question once again.
"First of all, it wasn't my idea, it was idea Mechanic's one." Avalanche responded, and then continued, "But I fully agree with his decision to cooperate with them."
"How did it come, that it was his idea?" Commander, was interested, to hear why Mechanic took such decision.
"My plan, went not as it was planned, and I was captured, the plan was in finding enemies base, and my role was in being bait and let my comrades to find it." the man did a brief pause thinking what should he must say further, "But as I understood later, there was some kind of a signal suppressing device on their base and it didn't allow them to find me. They found a way to discover the place where was the enemy's base." he saw that commander wanted to ask him another question, but somehow Avalanche predicted, what he was going to ask and didn't allow him to do it, "There appeared two others problems, first one is that Massimo was wounded and he couldn't continue our operation." Red nodded, it seemed like he had already knew about it, "And the second problem was in two locations. As I was told Hush could find two signals, being only a threesome, they wouldn't be able to investigate two bases per one night, and no one could predict what could happen if they would tarry."
"I get it." Commander showed to Avalanche, that he can stop for a bit, "What hunters helped you?"
"Yatsu Murasaki and Kuro, and there also were some young hunters too." he saw how the man in the red vest started to rub the chair handle with his hand. "Also we could receive some valuable information." Avalanche continued his report, "We could understand what they wanted to do with these captivities." he threw the flash drive to Commander, "It seems that the part of them was planned to be given to Etienne Richar."
"So 'The Third Law' is really involved after all." Commander said out loud, but it seemed like he said it to himself.
"Yes we even have encountered with them." Commander raised his head, "Etienne Richar, Torch, and Wojciechowski Przemislav, but we also had seen Mystic too." the hand squeezed the handle tight again, but this time Avalanche felt a strange feeling, "So now we can say it firmly, 'Black Wing' have bounds with these bastards."
"I see." Commander wanted to add something, but the door was suddenly opened, and Kangaroo rushed into the room along with Mechanic.
"Commander! Please don't punish him, the only who must be punished is me for letting my comrade be injured! If I didn't distract my attention, Massimo would be fine!" the boy lowered his head.
"Yes and still it was my idea to cooperate with hunters, so you should punish me too." Commander heard steps and saw Hush behind these two.
"There's no need to punish you." Commander sighed, all of them could believe to what they have heard, "You could receive the information that we needed, you could amend your fault saving Avalanche, and steel you found out the bout between these organizations. You did quite a lot here. So why should I punish you?"
"But we worked with hunters, that is why…" Avalanche tried to give a fair hearing, but Commander interrupted him.
"If I don't like them it doesn't mean that you must do absolutely the same. I met a lot of hunters and all of them except irritate me. And if I could I would work with him again. So it doesn't mean that you can't work with them, I only want you not to forget that you're working for 'Red Division'."
"Thank you commander!" Avalanche, thanked the man with the eye patch.
"Well, about your reward." he turned to white haired man, "Right now I can't make you a devoted member, but I think if your next mission is successful, I think I'll be able to do it easily."
"Yes, Commander!" Avalanche saluted.
"Now, as Hush's hands are repaired you'll receive another mission, now you can have some rest." Kangaroo's eyes became wide, the boys was happy that he will get some rest, "And I'll return to Tokyo, I still have plenty of work to do there." the team left the office leaving the man with eye patch alone. "I think this information will be enough for him." he spun the flash driver with his fingers and then left the office too.
It was evening when the Taimanins returned to Gosha Village. They could rest a bit, but still they were exhausted, especially the young hunters. Now they were walking by the streets of the village, they were continuing to share the expressions. They remembered their enemies and new allies; somehow they could know that Murasaki liked to work with that man, and the boy. Maki on the contrary didn't like that silent person at all. Rinko also liked to fight along with the man with white hair; it was pretty comfortable to fight with him. However Murasaki's head was busy with another thing, 'Ask Asagi about it, she must know what I'm talking about.' she remembered Miyata's last words, before leaving him. 'What did he mean? If I remember it right Asagi wasn't the principle when they betrayed us, so why did he say this?' Kuro felt that his sister was concerned with something.
"Do you still think about Miyata and Naomi?" he asked her.
"Yes, I still don't understand some things." she merely replied, crossing her arm.
"What are they?"
"When I was fighting Miyata, with our allies, he told me to ask Igawa-san about his betraying.
"Commander?" Kuro didn't understand, "She wasn't the principal, when they betrayed us, so why she must know anything about it?"
"I thought the same, but still maybe she knows something about it?"
"If I remember it right he was your favorite teacher, wasn't he?" Kuro asked her again.
"Yes, he was." Murasaki sighed.
"Mu-chan!" they heard merry and blithe voice. They turned their heads and saw orange heard woman, she was wearing a beige blouse long black boots with high heels, and black shorts. The woman ran to them pretty quickly when she was almost near with Murasaki; she saw how the blue haired woman prepared her axe.
"How many times I told you not call me this stupid nickname?" Murasaki asked her irritated.
"Sorry, I didn't know that the students would be here." then she turned her head and greeted Kuro, "Hello Kuro."
"Hi." Kuro merely replied.
"Have you finished your mission in Sapporo?" she asked them.
"Yes, now we're going to report the results of it to Igawa-san." Murasaki responded, "And what are you doing here?"
"Well, sis, told me to come too, maybe it's because of your mission?"
"Maybe." Murasaki responded.
Sakura started to ask lots of question her students and colleagues; if Murasaki tried not to take part in her questionings she answered some of her questions briefly. The students were more talkative, they all told interesting things, especially Maki, Aki also was telling what happened to them Rinko also took part in their talk, but no so actively. When they came to Gosha village they suddenly encountered with another group, which consisted from Oleg, Chikeko, Ren and Pavel.
"Oh Igawa-sensei, Yatsu-sensei, nice to see you." Oleg greeted them.
"Ren, Pavel!" Maki exclaimed and jumped onto her friends, hugging them.
"Hey, calmed you'll strangle us!" Pavel chuckled, "We're glad to see you too."
"But what are you all doing here?" Rinko asked the second group not understanding what they were doing at such hour near with the academy.
"Igawa-sensei called us." Chikeko replied on the question of her student.
"If she called you too, that means there's only one reason to do it." Murasaki said, "These criminals are the reason."
"Well let's not waste our time and go and know everything on the place." Kuro said, everyone agreed with this and continued their way. When Oleg overtook with Kuro, the blind Taimanin suddenly asked him, "So you're that new teacher from Russia, aren't you?"
"Yes, it's me." Oleg merely replied, "And you're supposed to be Yatsu Kuro, the blind demon hunter."
"Correct." Kuro nodded, "But how did you know this?"
"I heard some rumors about you in Russia, and also I heard about you here too." Oleg said him.
"Yatsu-san." how was your mission in Sapporo; the soft voice of Chikeko asked the man.
"Well it was pretty difficult. Honestly it was the most exhausting mission in my life, I think."
"As I understand you met someone from that organization, am I right?"
"Yes, they could catch us unawares, at the beginning." he said, but then added; "However we could do the same to them." he chuckled.
"Who did you me there?" Chikeko asked another question.
"That French scientist, the person with flame abilities, the Polish, and in the beginning we met a strange man with wind abilities, he was fighting with two daggers."
"Etienne, Torch, Wojciechowski and Mystic." Oleg called all these persons, "Etienne and Mystic are dangerous opponents, Torch has got potential, but he is still far away from those two. And the Polish is not a good fighter, but I team battle he is very dangerous."
"Yeah we have already understood it." Igarasi said, "His abilities are such a pain."
"Did he use them on you?" Oleg asked Igarasi.
"Yeah, when he touched me I feel myself exhausted, like I wasn't resting for a long time."
"This happened to me and Yatsu-sensei, when we met him first." Ren answered to Igarasi, "We felt absolutely the same."
"By the way Hirata-sensei?" Moritani turned to Chikeko, "Who did you meet on your mission?"
"Well, let me remember." the teacher of music pondered, "There were that Mystic, Archon and…" she pondered trying to remember the name of the demon they were fighting.
"It was the demon we encountered during our first missions with our Russian colleagues." Ren added, "The Pegasus."
"Did you fight that man with clawed gloves?" Aki asked Pavel.
"No, sensei was fighting him and Mystic, we were busy with another things." Pavel answered.
"Wait, do you want to tell that you were fighting two dangerous opponents at the same time?!" Maki was exclaimed. Aki was surprised too he could see the potential of the man with gloves, when he was fighting Oleg during their first mission together, and Rinko also saw his potential, so she became interested now in the talk too."
"No." Chikeko waved away, "If I was fighting them alone, I would definitely lose quickly to them, we met their colleagues." she said pointing at Oleg and then at Pavel, "So they helped us a lot."
"Their colleagues?" Murasaki watched at Oleg.
"I'll tell you everything later." Oleg sighed.
They continued their way. They entered the academy and started to up by the ladder in order to reach Igawa Asagi's office. They encountered her suddenly on the exit to the corridor.
"I'm glad that you all have come." she said with a smile, "It seems that we won't be able to place in my office so why not to make our meeting in the conference room?"
All of the presenters agreed and followed the principle of the academy. She brought them to the conference room pretty quickly, the room had circled table, and lots of chair so all of them could have a place. The students decided to sit, and Kuro along with Pavel decided to stand near with the table. Maki and Aki sat together. Sakura decided to sit next to Oleg, seeing this Chikeko decided to do the same, but from the other side. Rinko sat between Chikeko and Ren, and Igarasi sat near with Moritani. "Well, let's start our meeting." the elder Igawa started, "I think you have already guessed why I have called such a big crowed."
"I guess, because of our criminal friends." Oleg responded.
"Yes, but first of all, Kuro." the woman said, "It would be better to receive more detailed reports next time."
"Sorry, Commander." Kuro apologized, "I hadn't got much time to prepare more expanded report, because of troubles, that we faced."
"When I with Ikenami and Tarasov were on a mission we met Mystic, Archon and the Pegasus, as I already know this Pegasus was encountered by them during their first mission here."
"I see." Asagi responded and then watched at Murasaki.
"We met, Etienne, Torch and that Polish doctor, me and Ikenami had already encountered, and as my brother told, they met Mystic too, but it was almost in the beginning of their operation."
Asagi nodded slightly and then she heard Kuro's voice, "We also could find that 'Black Wing' cooperates with them.
"So Naomi is working along with them, after all." Asagi said out loud pondering about something, "Could you know what they were going to do with the captivities?"
"No, this is the only thing we couldn't understand." Kuro said, "The bases were exploded, so it's impossible to know something from them."
"If you allow, I think I know why they needed, the captivities." Oleg took the floor, Asagi nodded, "If the organization you've mentioned is working with 'The Third Law', that mean that they could give away them to them."
"But why they should do this?" Chikeko didn't understand what point was in this act.
"As you all know Etienne Richar is a scientist, it's really impossible to predict what this man has in his head, that's why they could give those innocents to them, on order to they could take part in his experiments."
"Do you know on what experiments he is working?" Murasaki asked him.
"He is trying to create something that will be similar to demon, but still being a human at the same time."
"Do you mean just like him?" Pavel asked his Russian mentor.
"Well, Etienne always had an enormous amour-propre, so I think he also wants to make that submissive to himself."
"Igawa-san, I also wanted to add something." Murasaki said to the principle of the Gosha Academy, she saw how Asagi nodded, and continued, "I also would like to tell you that we had a small reinforcement during our mission in Sapporo." Asagi raised an eyebrow; Murasaki easily understood that she was surprised hearing this, as she didn't send them anyone, "They were from 'Red Division'
"That bunch of mercenaries?" Asagi understood what Murasaki was talking about, "But what they are doing in Japan?"
"As I could know." Kuro decided to speak this time, "They are here, because of our new acquaintances." he felt Asagi's intent gaze and started to explain her, "I have a friend among them, and when we suddenly met in Sapporo, he told me some information about these guys."
"And did you belive in it?" Asagi asked him.
"Sensei." Rinko decided to protect Kuro's point of view, "I know nothing about these mercenaries, but they really helped us during our mission." Maki and Aki nodded at Rinko's words absolutely agreeing with them.
"It seems that you know them." Oleg said to Asagi.
"Yes, and even fought them several years ago." Asagi said with serious voice, "He was the only human who could fight me on equal terms."
'Wow, is there someone who can be equal to sis?' Sakura thought.
The silence covered the room; everyone was surprised hearing that there was someone else who can be as strong as Igawa Asagi, however the first one who decided to break the silence was Oleg, Asagi looked at him and saw that he wasn't puzzled at all, but still she said him nothing.
"However we still got some aid too." everyone was puzzled again, but it seems that Asagi, Sakura and Chikeko understood it quickly, "I think that our country will soon have a dialogue about the case with 'The Third Law' since our two allies, are now here."
"Two allies?" Kuro was surprised.
"Are they the ones you mentioned during our first meeting?" Murasaki asked Oleg.
"Yes, they are." and then he added with a smile, "And one of them is the user of mental abilities, that's why I think that our country will go on a dialogue. By the way, you mentioned some organization, is it dangerous?"
"Do you mean 'Black Wing'?" Kuro asked him, Oleg nodded, "How to tell it right, it's difficult to say that they're dangerous, I think only two of their members are really dangerous, it's its leader Naomi Miyamoto and her right hand Miyata Ioshito."
"So they're not as powerful as NOMAD." Oleg said.
"There's even nothing to compare." Kuro responded.
"Have you got any idea, what should we do with these criminals?" Asagi asked the presenters, but she heard nothing, then she continued, "Then I think next, we must warn everyone about them, even all students who is already going on missions to slay demons. The second thing is in that all students must be in pair with a skillful hunter. Since our enemy like to attack meanly, then we must be ready to retort them as strong as we only can." she did a pause and then continued, "Tereshkov-sensei, I'd like to ask you, will our guest be able to show us something from mental abilities?"
"I'll speak with her, but I think it will be better to wait until our country won't contact with yours."
"I see." she responded, "Well, then the meeting is over for now. All of you worked perfectly, and could fight our new enemies better this time, and even could catch them unawares that's why I think you earned a special reward." Asagi smiled "I will think of it better and when I find a way to do it I'll tell you." then Asagi got up and left the conference room. Murasaki got up and followed Asagi. Sakura wanted to do the same, but she was stopped by Kuro.
"Well the kids can be free now." Kuro said, and then turned to the teacher, how about to go and have a drink somewhere?"
"Well, I'm in." Sakura said with a wide smile.
Chikeko looked at Oleg, Oleg turned his head to the teacher of music and smiled her, "Since tomorrow is Sunday, I'm in."
"Then I'll go too." Chikeko added.
The student and teachers left the conference room pretty quickly, the young ones went to their homes, as almost all of them were tired, and teacher went to the closer bar in order to rest in adult way.
"Igawa-san, wait!" Murasaki called Asagi when she left the conference room.
"What is it Murasaki?" she asked Murasaki, "Is there something happened?"
"I wanted to ask you about something." Murasaki said with a lowered voice.
"What is it?" Asagi saw that Murasaki was concerned with something, she rarely saw like this, so she suggested, "Is it about Ioshito Miyata?"
"Yes, I… I wanted to know. He said that you must know why he betrayed us."
"I see." Asagi sighed; "Follow me." then she turned and went to the direction of her office.
Then she followed the green eyed woman. Murasaki thought that the way to the principal's office was eternal. She started to think her own theories why her former mentor could betray them, but in the end they reached the place and when they were in the office, Asagi came to one of the man bookcases. She opened it and started to look for something. After some minutes she found what she wanted and put it onto her table. She offered to sit down to Murasaki; the woman did what she was offered.
"The problem of Miyata's betraying lies in Naomi's deeds." Murasaki didn't understood what Asagi meant and asked her.
"What do you mean?"
"When we were young we didn't understood lots of things, as most of them were hid from us. Once there was a cause that could cost to Miyata with his life, as during one of his missions he killed some of high-ranking officials. Everything was turned like he was cooperating with some unknown criminals, who hired him to kill them, the main features is in that none of the elders didn't know about this." she did a brief pause and then continued, "Naomi was the only one who decided to investigate, the incident. According to her report she found that those officials were working with demons, but she also put herself in dangerous position investigating it, as it was secret information, and only a narrow circle of people could know about it."
"So you want to say, that Miyata killed those officials on purpose?" Murasaki asked the woman.
"This is what I don't know even myself." Asagi shook with her head, "When Naomi started to investigate it she also found that these officials were used for creating of difficult relationship between the Village and the government. When the truth was revealed, Miyata was spared and also he was returned in action of being a Taimanin." Asagi came to another cabinet, she opened it and saw a bottle of sake in it, "Murasaki, do you want to have a drink?" the teacher turned her head to Asagi, "I have sake, but it's only for today." Asagi smiled.
"Why not." Murasaki smiled too.
"By the way, don't turn to me so officially when we are alone." she chuckled, "After all we are old friends."
"Okay, Asagi." Murasaki referred.
Asagi took the bottle and two glasses, put them onto her working place, and poured the alcohol in their glasses. "Well, let's drink for your successful mission." Asagi said with a smile.
"Yeah." Murasaki nodded they clinked with their glasses and dried them quickly. Asagi filled them again and continued.
"Miyata was a man of honor, and vowed to serve Naomi. Little by little Naomi started to feel disgust towards the elders, she tried to change the secular orders, but still she could do this, as she was an ordinary huntress and didn't belong to some noble clan, so she couldn't have much influence for elders to make them change the secular orders, that's why she decided to leave the village, and being her faithful servant now, Miyata followed her." while Asagi was telling, she was whirling the glass of sake in her hand, when she did a pause she drank it, seeing that Murasaki did the same, she filled their glasses again and continued her narrative, "There was no sign from them for a long time, until they appeared as criminals."
"Named 'Black Wing'." Murasaki added.
"Yes, it's still unknown to us how they could create such organization in a short time. She also could induce some of our hunters join her. We were afraid that she was cooperating with Black or Kuroi, but still we could find any bound between them."
"And as it appeared we were looking for it in wrong place." Murasaki chuckled.
"Yes, who could even thought that they cooperated with the other strong organization, that is separated somewhere in South America." she said remembering Oleg words during their first meeting.
"I've killed Miyata." Murasaki said suddenly, "Asagi removed the glass of her lips and raised an eyebrow, "When we were on our last sortie, I was working with two members of 'Red Division'." she said remembering the details of her work with those two, "One of them was Kuro's friend and another one was a kid about fifteen year old."
"Interesting, was he skillful?" Asagi asked Murasaki.
"Well, he was able to fight Ito and Sato at the together." Murasaki chuckled, "I even offered him to join us." Asagi started to fill the glasses again, "However he declined the offer."
"I see." Asagi smiled too, "Did they help you to deal with him?"
"Yes, I would never be able to defeat him alone." Murasaki confessed.
"Even that boy was fighting Miyata with me, while Kuro's friend was save the captivities along with Moritani and Igarasi." then Murasaki pondered and asked Asagi, "By the way, you said that you know 'Red Division', who you fought?"
Asagi leaned onto the back of her office chair, like she was remembering something significant, "Well, I don't know his name or nickname, but he was a really strong opponent. He was using wind abilities and was fighting with a double scythe." Asagi did a pause drinking the content of the glass, but still leaving a half of it. "It was really difficult to fight him, he style was really impossible to read, but somehow I could defeat him with small aid."
"I see." Murasaki responded.
They continued to talk and drink at the same time; they talk about different themes, about their new and old enemies, about 'Red Division', about Russia and the two new comrades. Asagi even told about Maria and Ilya who now were in the hospital. Both of them hoped that Russian government would contact theirs as soon as it only possible. After some time, when the bottle was finished, they decided to leave the academy and have some rest. They said goodbye to each other and went in different directions.
"If you put me in pair with this woman, I promise you that I'll kill her!" Etienne said to Mystic who was going next to the French scientist.
"I didn't think that 'Red Division' would show them that fast." Mystic responded, "Honestly, I even didn't know that they're in Japan."
"When I heard it myself, I wanted to leave their base right when I saw Avalanche." Etienne continued, "I told this fool to increase the protection of the base, but I think she did nothing."
"I wanted to send Archon there, but he was needed for the mission." they did a turn and he continue, "Don't worry, since now she will follow only my orders."
"Wait, do you want her to work with us?" Etienne asked him with a surprised voice.
"Yes, but only for the time, while her organization will be restoring." Mystic answered, "Don't worry I don't want you to kill each other so now you will never work together."
"Only this thing pleasing me." Etienne sighed.
"By the way, when are you going to restore your arm?"
"I'll start to do it after our little meeting." the French responded.
The saw a metal door and Mystic opened it. The room was pretty wide, but still hadn't lots of things. There were only some chairs and nothing more. However there also were some people in the room, the man in official costume Wojciechowski, the man with dark purple suit who had scars on his face Archon, the person in orange uniform Torch, the woman in the blue uniform Naomi, and two girls who were similar to each other Izumi and Azumi they also were wearing their scarfs.
"I'm glad seeing that all of you are already here." Mystic said, "So we can start." he turned his head to Naomi, the woman was sitting on the chair crossing her arms and legs. Izumi was sitting too, but the girl seemed rather sleeping than being with them.
"First of all, I want to introduce you our new members." he pointed at the three women, "I hope all of you will cooperate with them perfectly, however they won't work with us forever, so they are temporary members."
"Is she a leader of 'Black Wing'?" Archon asked Mystic.
"Yes, they encountered some troubles and now they will work with us while their organization will be restoring." Etienne came to Archon and whispered something to into his ear.
"Really?" the man asked the French with a surprise "Tell me it later."
"No problem." Etienne responded.
"Let's not get distracted." Mystic asked his comrades, "First of all I must tell that this time wasn't fruitful for us we were ambushed, we must teach lessons from it and be ready to fight both enemies at one time." all of them nodded, and Mystic said, "Naomi, could you please leave us alone for now?"
Naomi looked at Mystic, "It's because of our inner business, we must discuss it, and you know I have no right to tell it to you."
"Then how will I work with you if you don't induct me in your business?" she asked him.
"Don't worry I'll tell you personally everything you what you must know, but a bit later." Naomi got up and headed to the door, but she quickly came to the man in the cloak and the hood and whispered.
"I hope you'll tell me this in a bit more private atmosphere."
"As you wish." Mystic responded. And then women left the room leaving the members of 'The Third Law' alone. "Now we can start our meeting. The first thing I want to tell you is that, we weren't able to destroy the second seal."
"What?!" All of them exclaimed, the only one who expressed his astonishment in another language was Wojciechowski.
"We thought that there was a seal, but as Tardis said there was a strange in metal armor that was using lighting. Somehow he had some relation to them."
"You want to say that he is some kind of the protector of the seals?" Richar asked him.
"I don't know it myself, however I will try to ask Walter when he arrives, maybe he knows something."
"Jeszcze1…" Wojciechowski stopped and then continued, "Haven't he returned yet?"
"He is in his nest in Tokyo Kingdom; I think he was transporting his creatures here."
"If he is doing this, then he will get my praise." Etienne said with a joy in his voice.
"Well, the incident with our allies, disturbed our plans for a while, that means that we must improve our work." Mystic said and turned to Torch, "By the way, if I remember ou wanted to visit your sister, didn't you?"
"Yes, if only you don't mind." Torch answered the question of mysterious person.
"I told you that you can do it when the mission is over, so now you're free. If you want you can be delivered to Russia the day after tomorrow."
"Wow, that fast?" Torch was surprised, with hearing this, but then added, "By the way, can I take one of twins with me?"
All except Mystic looked with amusement at him, "Well, right now we don't need them so, if she agrees I think you can do it."
"Thank you a lot!" Torch exclaimed.
"Do you want to tell something to me?" Mystic asked Przemislav after the talk with the blue haired boy.
"Nasz2… Our friend that provided… information about politicians przyjął naszą ofertę3… I mean he agreed to cooperate with us."
"Nice news." Mystic said, "Now we can try, to work over the policy of Japan."
"Then who will protect him?" Archon asked his comrade, "No doubt, that he will be killed if his connection with us will be revealed."
"For now I think, he will be pretty good without protection, but when he starts to act I think Torch and the twins will be perfect protection for him." and then he turned to the Polish again, "And you'll coordinate him in his political deeds."
"As… you wish." Wojciechowski said.
"Well for now, it's all what we can do. Now we are going to act more seriously, if you have an opportunity to capture some of them then do it, extra help is never extra, no you may be free, and Archon I still have something to discuss with you, so please hold for a minute." when the comrades left those two alone Mystic turned to Archon, "I think you understand that this order also relates to your sister."
"What do you mean?" Archon didn't understand.
"I think she is now in their place. So there's no doubt that Russia will contact Japan, and if you have an opportunity to capture her then do it, she will bring us a lot of troubles, working with Taimanins." Archon answered nothing, so Mystic came closer to him, "I hope you remember that our interests are in the first place, and joining us ou abandoned everything what you love."
"Torch didn't do this." Archon responded to the mysterious man.
"Torch is an exception."
"Don't worry, I have nothing to that could bind us anymore, so there's no need to worry about it."
"Really?" Mystic asked Archon, but then added, "Just kidding, of course you'll do it after all you are a veteran of our organization who does everything perfectly." then he turned away and left the room.
"Always hated your jokes." Archon said and kicked the closer chair and left the room too.
