Chapter 21
The day passed pretty quickly, Izumi and along with Tomas and Arthur was walking by the base of 'The Third Law', Arthur was discussing something eagerly with his brother, while Izumi was just walking with them as she had nothing to do. Naomi and the rest had already left, for some mission Mystic and Wojciechowski were discussing in her presence, even that man with claws went with them. So tight now Izumi had nothing to do. She wanted to have some training with that boy, but somewhat she couldn't find him. So she decided to ramble about.
'If only Azumi was here, it would be much merrier with her, and Torch.'
"Well if we are to fight that Taimanin, we should do something more for make her surprised." Tomas said to his slim brother.
"I've already told you, we fight first and Izumi looks for a better moment to attack her." he replied.
"Yes, but do ou remember what this politician said? She is always with some bodyguard, so that means that we will fight two opponents, isn't it reckless?"
"I will fight another one." Izumi said to them, "I think I'll be able to deal with the one bodyguard."
"Have you already killed these hunters?" Arthur asked her.
"Sometimes, but they were students or just the ones who ended their education." she merely replied, "So if I'll need help I'll tell you." suddenly they all heard a call, Izumi put her hand into the pocket of her uniform and then took out a phone, she accepted the call and started to talk, "Yes? Ah it's you Hayasi-san." Izumi said attracting the attention of her new comrades, "Have you prepared the meeting? Yes, the same place, I understood, don't worry everything will be don. Yes, I remember about the papers you gave us. When will be the meeting? Eight o'clock, understood." and then she turned to her companions, "Today at eight o'clock we have to kill, that woman."
"Finally some work!" Tomas hit his palm with the fist. Arthur wanted to say something, but the suddenly heard some noise of heavy steps. They turned their heads and saw a man in silver armor with a cape.
"Have I heard that you have someone to dispose?" Walter asked Izumi, his voice was cold and firm and it made Izumi to flinch of it.
"Yes." she merely responded, she looked at her partners, and saw that they became quite too, she found out that they also turned their head away, "Do you want to go with us?" Izumi decided to ask him straight.
"Not me." Walter responded, "The kid that had training with wants to go."
Izumi widened her eyes, she wasn't able to answer as Tomas didn't give her such opportunity, "We are going to kill some veteran hunters, is it a good place for a kid?"
"I'm not talking to you." Walter replied coldly, not even watching at Tomas, the muscled man who seemed fearless; quickly shut his mouth, "So, what will you say?"
"Well..." she gulped.
"Don't worry, I'm not biting." he merely answered to her with a smile, he put his hand onto her shoulder and added, "So?"
"Well… I don't think that he is ready to fight veteran hunters, he still can't defeat me, so there's nothing to say about the veteran ones."
"And what about you?" Walter asked another question, "What if he fights along with you, will he be able to defeat him?"
"I… I think we will be able to do this." she nodded, she felt how the man started to squeeze her shoulder, and it was a bit painful, after these words the grip became weaker.
"I see, then at eight o'clock, he will go with you." he released her shoulder and turned around.
"And what if something goes wrong, and won't be able to protect him?" Izumi asked him.
"You shouldn't think about it." Walter said, "Just do what you were told to do." and then he disappeared after he covered himself with his cape.
"Man…" Arthur flinched after Walter's leaving, "I've never understood that guy."
"Yeah, even I can't do anything in his presence, he is really terrifying." Tomas added.
"Do you know him?" Izumi asked the men.
"The hell we know about him." Tomas spitted.
"Well, my dear brother wants to say that we only now that his name is Walter, and we it's the only thing we know about him." Arthur said much more politely.
"I know his name." Izumi said to them, 'Walter who the hell are you?' she asked herself and went to look for a boy who was ordered to go with them, for this pretty dangerous mission, 'He is definitely not from those who can be treated easily.'
Tatsurou was coming to one teacher after another in order to find Igawa-sensei, but none of the teacher s could answer his question.
'Where is she can be?' Tatsurou asked himself, 'I haven't seen her from the morning.' Tatsurou saw another teacher, and decided to ask again, "Um, sorry, have you seen Igawa-sensei today?"
"No, I haven't seen her yet." the teacher replied, "If you find her, please tell me too." the teacher asked the purple haired boy.
"Of course." Tatsurou nodded, and continued his way, 'Nothing again.' he exhaled.
"Hey, Tatsurou!" he heard a voice for the other part of the corridor, the boy turned around and saw Yukikaze who was running to him, when the girl was by him, she asked him, "So, have you found Asagi-sensei?"
"No." Tatsurou sighed, "It's the second day how I still can't find her."
"Then let's try to look for her together." Yukikaze offered her help to him, the boy nodded with a smile, and then they started to ask almost everyone on their way, "Tatsurou, I still can wipe this question out of my head, if we join them will we be able to save my mother?"
Tatsurou stopped, he glanced over the area around them, and when he found that there were almost no one said, "Honestly, I don't know. Auntie always was strong; she is as strong as Igawa-sensei, so I don't know other people who could fight her fair."
"Like always." Yukikaze sighed, "A diffuse answer from a wind headed Tatsurou."
"But you shouldn't worry." Tatsurou suddenly said, "I promised that we'll return her back then we definitely do this." Tatsurou looked at her with a smile, and then saw how the cheeks of his girlfriend became slightly red."
"Yeah, I remember this." she mumbled.
They continued their way and suddenly they saw Takeuti Hizemo, who was wandering by the corridor too.
"Sensei!" Tatsurou called him.
"Oh, Tatsurou." Takeuti was surprised of such meeting, "What is it? You seem like you're looking for something."
"Yes, we are looking for Igawa-sensei, don't you know where she could be?" the younger Akiyama asked him.
"And Oleg-sensei too." Yukikaze added.
"Well as for Oleg, he is on a mission today, and will come only tomorrow as he said to me, and about Igawa-sensei…" the PE teacher pondered then he snapped with his finger, "Yeah, as I remember I've seen her in the morning, she was heading to the library."
"To the library?" Tatsurou reasked energetically.
"Yes, I think she must be there."
Tatsurou grabbed Yukikaze's hand and ran along with her, to the library of Gosha Academy, "Thank you a lot!" the boy exclaimed.
'What?! Since when Tatsurou became so enthusiastic?' Yukikaze thought, not falling behind.
"Still nothing." Asagi thought watching through another book, "Pavel said something about fairy tale, but which one?" Asagi was sitting at the table which was chocked up with lots of books; she had a mug of coffee next to her right hand and was glancing at some opened book, "Elder demons are the ones, who has an enormous amount of aura energy." she turned the page and started to look for again, something that she didn't know, "More powerful demonic beings are the Vampire King, Flame Queen, Incubus King and the Corpse Lord..." she sighed and closed the book, "Still nothing about that Walter, the second Demon Lord of the second line, and such a strange title, I know that there are Demon Lords, like these four, but a title like this, could it be possible that there are the other such Demon Lords, like him the first one of the second line, or the third one?" she put her hands in a lock, "If he said that he was from the second line, could it be possible that there's first line of such lords or even the third line?" she did a sip from the mug and continued her ponderings, "Here's another question what is he doing with that organization? Is he their leader or something? Only questions and still no answers. At the same time, he is not form weak demons, I couldn't defeat him even with the help of that man from 'Red Division', and he is as strong as I am, or maybe stronger." she stopped for a second, "Only with the help of that demon along with Kurenai, we could turn the battle towards us. And that vampire, who helped Kurenai, who is he?" Asagi removed the books, "Well let's stop thinking for a moment." she rubbed her nasal bridge, "When Pavel returns I'll ask him to tell me that tale about these demon lords."
"Igawa-sensei." she heard a voice behind her, she turned her head and saw a purple haired boy, along with a brown haired girl.
"Ah, Tatsurou, Yukikaze, did you want something?" she asked them with a smile, like she was glad that someone would interrupt her from her own questions.
"Thank goodness we could find you." Tatsurou exhaled as he came closer to the woman.
"He was looking for you since yesterday." Yukikaze pointed at Tatsurou, "And couldn't find."
"I apologies for that Tatsurou, but yesterday was really busy, if you wanted you could talk with some other teachers, I think they could help you."
"No." Tatsurou shook with his head, "The only one I need to talk right now is you sensei." the boy said firmly.
Asagi was surprised of such words, she have never seen Tatsurou like this so she became really interested what the boy wanted to ask her, "Well, I'm listening." she nodded.
The boy and the girl sat, at the same table. Tatsurou wanted to start, but somehow he stopped not knowing how to start, "So?" Asagi asked him.
'What should I say too her? Ask it straight or…?' he suddenly felt something on his hand, he looked and saw how Yukikaze's hand covered Tatsurou's one, the girl looked at him and nodded, likewise she said to him, just say it as it is, the boy took a deep breath and then started, "During our last mission, our squad met a strange person."
'A strange person?' Asagi thought.
"He was wearing silver armor with a cape, we tried to fight him, but the only thing he did was avaiding our attacks and attacking us from time to time."
"Did he use aura?" Asagi asked him.
"No, he was just delaying us, and then the other two persons came, one was the man in white robe with glasses, and the other one was the man with clawed gloves."
"Etienne Richar and Archon." Asagi remembered the description of those two.
"Perhaps, but the problem is in the armored man." Tatsurou said, "He said that he met a woman who looked like me." Asagi narrowed her eyes, it several years ago, when I and Rinko were just children so could it be that he met our mother?"
"Did he tell something else?" Asagi asked him.
"No." the boy shook with his head, "He disappeared then, maybe you know how my mother disappeared."
Asagi put her finger onto her chin, "Well, as I remember your mother was sent on a mission to investigate something." Asagi started, "Yes, there were something about gathering demons, and we supposed that it could be Edwin Black who was standing behind this, your mother was sent there with other three strong Taimanin, but none of them have returned, we tried to investigate the place, but we found absolutely nothing there, like they just vanished. We thought that they were captured, and little by little we started to think that they were dead."
"Could you know who that man was?" Asagi was asked by Yukikaze.
"No." she only shook with her head, "But, according with you descriptions, I've met him that day with you."
"Did you?" Tatsurou and Yukikaze were surprised.
"Yes, and he was really formidable opponent." she answered, "If this man encountered your mother, then the result of their duel is unsurprising." but then she flinched suddenly, 'Wait a minute he also was controlled a corpse, and could release bones out of his body, maybe he could do something...'
"Sensei." Tatsurou interrupted her thinking, "Is everything alright?"
"Yes." she lied, "Well, I'll think about this occasion Tatsurou." she smiled to him, and then added, "Don't worry about it."
Then Asagi decided to have a little talk with the young Taimanin, she talked with them about their studying and other stuff, about Russian hunters and some other things.
"So, is everything ready for our sortie?" Naomi asked Mystic coming close to him.
"Yes." the man nodded, "Wojciechowski, is waiting at the station, Archon is with demons, and we are going to attack from here."
"Got it." Naomi nodded, "By the way, how was your fight with Asagi?"
The man chuckled, "Well, it was instructive, she is a strong woman, and even one mistake can cost dearly in fight with her."
"Not surprising." she chuckled, "After all it was I who taught her how to fight."
"And I was guessing, where have I seen such erratic way of fighting." he said with a smile to her.
"I also taught her sister and Shiranui."
"And what about Murasaki?" Mystic asked her.
"She was taught by Miyata." Naomi replied, "He was her favorite teacher." then she turned her head to the man, "I also wanted to ask you, since when have you stated to work with demons? As I remember you've never worked with them."
"We worked with them from the beginning." Mystic responded, "However we didn't advertise it. That demons you saw, worked with us from the beginning."
"That Pegasus and dinosaur?"
"Yes, but they always did a work somewhat of a bloodhounds, and connection between us and demons."
"I see." Naomi responded.
"By the way, how is your arm?" Mystic asked her.
"Why have you decided to ask me about it?" the woman smirked, "Are you feared for me?"
"Kinda." Mystic answered to her.
"Yes, everything is fine." she answered to him too, "It was just mere scratch nothing more, I made wounds much more dangerous. So which opponents will you take?"
"I'll take the strongest one and you will deal with the ones you would like to deal with more." Mystic chuckled.
"Yes, but I would like to fight with Sakura again, or if it would be possible I would like to fight with Asagi or Murasaki."
"You know on which side bread is buttered." Mystic laughed, Naomi was slightly surprised of such reaction and smiled too.
"Of course, after all I taught them so I know their secrets quite well."
'Mystic, Naomi.' both of them heard Archon's voice in their heads, 'I can see a limousine, it's heading to your place, I think that it our targets.'
'Understood, start chasing, but don't reveal yourself, I think there must be a protectoral squad, and we shouldn't reveal ourselves earlier.'
'Got it.' Archon responded, and then the voiced vanished of their heads, "Are you ready?"
"He's asking." she licked her lips anticipating for upcoming event and prepared her swords, while Mystic prepared his daggers.
"Greetings again." Yamamoto said as he saw Dmitry and Eugene who were protected by Sakura and Chikeko, "Have you slept well?" he asked them standing outdoors of the building, where they had a meeting yesterday.
"Yes, all the service you gave us was really perfect." Eugene answered with a smile.
"Nice to hear." Yamamoto smiled too, "So are you ready to go to Gosha Village?"
"We always are ready." Dmitry referred this time.
"Then follow me." The old man said, and went to the limousine that was waiting standing not far from them.
They entered it and Yamamoto said again, "Yesterday I called Igawa Asagi and had a little conversation with her."
"Really? And what was it about if it's not a secret." Eugene was interested hearing these words.
"Firstly we thought just to give you a small excursion there, but then we decided to that you'll give a speech even to the students of our academy." Yamamoto smiled this time, "And will announce about the problem with 'The Third Law'."
"Hm, it's not a bad idea after all." Eugene nodded and pondered, "After all I'll report about it to the whole Taimanin system not just to a close circle of people."
"But is it really a good idea?" Chikeko still didn't know was it a good idea or not, "I don't think that it's good for young Taimanin to know about this."
"No, this idea is not bad." Dmitry shook with his head, "If everything passes really good, we can send some people to help you in education and also protecting you from these scums."
Sakura pondered too, "And what about Maria? What will you do with her?" her voice was a bit worried. Yamamoto and Eugene only smiled mysteriously at her question.
Their way lasted for about two hours it was a daytime, so there were lots of traffic jams. However it was it played into their hands, everything was passing perfectly. The enemy didn't showed themselves and the group started to think that the attack wouldn't happen, because of the crowd of people around them, however they also suggested that the attack could be made on their back way.
After two hours of riding, they finally reached the needed place; it was central Tokyo railway station. The first ones who left the car were Sakura and Chikeko, the other two were Dmitry and Yamamoto, and the third one was Eugene. People who were around them started to watch at them like they saw something mysterious. The group slowly headed to the building, when they entered it, Yamamoto said.
"Here we will take the train to the needed place."
"Should we put one some blindfold?" Eugene joked.
"We won't mind." Sakura chuckled at his joke.
When they were about to come to the terminals in order to continue their way, to the platforms, they heard a noise of broking window and then a voice.
"Long time no see, Eugene Alexeyevich." they all turned their head and the man with the cloak and the hood and the woman in blue uniform.
"Exposed themselves?" Sakura quickly removed her clothes and now she was standing only in her black battle tight body suit, she exposed her daggers.
"It seems that they are not afraid, to show up in crowded places." Chikeko announced her thought, doing the same exposing her uniform she took out two parts of her spear ou of her back and fixed them together.
"Younger Igawa and Hirata, and even the old man is here too." Naomi said licking her lips, "Not a bad harvesting."
"Miyamoto?" when Chikeko turned around she was surprised of seeing the woman in blue uniform, "Long time no see. How are you doing?" Chikeko asked her with a smile.
"Pretty good." Naomi chuckled, "But it'll be much better when I'll capture you both."
"Tangerine I hope you're ready for a fight? This time I will fight seriously."
"I told you don't call me like that!" Sakura answered to him, and rushed to the man in the cloak.
"Sakura wait!" Chikeko wanted to say something, but unexpected attack from Naomi made her put paid to her talk.
People around them were surprised and puzzled they didn't know what was happening here some of them preferred to run, while someone else preferred to stay and watch. Sakura decided not to play with her opponent she started to attack him fast and strongly, however Mystic was able to parry all her lunges. Suddenly, Sakura got closer to him and was about to hit him with her blade. The man parried it, and then quickly jumped away using his wind. When Mystic landed onto the ground again, e saw how shadow needles started vanish.
"Not bad." Mystic said, doing two swings, which crated two wind blades that flew at Sakura.
The girl not thinking dodged the attack and rushed to the man again.
Chikeko on the other hand was fighting using protection, as it was really dangerous to use her abilities in straight combat, while Naomi could. It was really difficult for Chikeko to fight Naomi, as for Sakura to fight Mystic, both of their opponents were veteran hunters, but they also had lots of experience in battles, then then two Taimanin.
"You're slow, Hirata." Naomi smirked, "Maybe you'll try to attack e back, instead of protecting?"
"Forgot to ask you." Chikeko gritted though her teeth.
"Naomi." Yamamoto sighed, "So it's true that she is with them."
"Do you know her?" Eugene asked the man.
"Yes, long ago she was a Taimanin, but she betrayed us and created her own criminal organization, along with the other person."
"It'll be problematic for them to fight Mystic." Dmitry interrupted their talk, "Maybe I should elp them?"
"Not now." Eugene replied watching at the battle. Suddenly the roof above them started to crack the three persons jumped away keening onto their reflexes.
'Is he a hunter too?' Yamamoto thought noticed Eugene's jump.
When the landed they could see two creatures with massive lobster claws, between them was a man in black and purple suit with clawed gloves. The man looked to both sides and noticed Naomi and Mystic.
"It seems that we've came just in time." Archon said watching at Mystic, "Well, let's tart the main fun." and then he directed to Eugene at full speed, but when he was about to get him, something stood between them accepting the strike, it was Oleg with his sword.
"Don't worry, the main program is about to start." he gritted through his teeth.
"Ha, even you're here." Anatoly chuckled, "And was thinking you'll stay behind."
"Not when you're nearby." Oleg pushed him away and started to attack him with his sword
The monsters were stopped by Pavel and Ren, who were heading to Yamamoto.
"Wow so he is here too after all." Dmitry was surprised of seeing the Russian boy, "It'll be interesting to see his skills." he smile to his words.
Dmitry and Ren decided to deal with demons first, however it wasn't easy, though the monsters were big hey still were pretty quick, Ren and Pavel were jumping from one to another one, they had prevailing in speed and used it well.
"Never seen such demons." Ren shouted to Pavel.
"Me too!" he answered to her, dodging the claw of his demons, Pavel tried to hit it with his sword, but it was useless as the sword was only reflected, "Their claws are really firm!" the boy thought.
Kuro appeared surprisingly in time, when Chikeko start to feel difficult fightin her opponent Kuro was about to attack Naomi from the whole that was made by demons and Archon. Kuro stood between them, "Go and help the other people to get out of here."
"Got it." Chikeko nodded and ran to the crow of people in order to evacuate them.
"It seems that we'll have round too." Naomi said to Kuro clashing her sword with his short blade.
"This time I won't be so easy." Kura smirked.
"Me too." Naomi grinned, and then she started the fight.
Kuro was much flexible instead of Chikeko as his weapon allowed to do this, and at the same time because of his regeneration ability, he was able to cure his wounds during the battle so he wasn't afraid in getting some scratched.
The state was pretty equal; Naomi was fighting with Kuro, Archon with Oleg, the young hunters with demons, Chikeko helped to the others, while Sakura was fighting Mystic. Sakura was fighting Mystic with everything she had, and it was surprised to see how he was fighting her in the beginning, and now. Mystic became a bit slower and distracted; Sakura felt it and was surprised, what made him to do this. His face was perfectly covered with his hood, so it was impossible for her to see expressions of his face.
"Get Eugene!" Mystic shouted to the creatures, which were fighting the young ones.
The one that was fighting Pavel turned around after doing a round attack ran to the Minister. "Shit! Won't escape!" Pavel quickly caught him up and stood between the Minister and the monster preparing to attack, but then the monster suddenly stopped and ran to Naomi to fight Kuro, 'Huh? The hell was that?' Pavel was astonished from seeing something like this.
He wanted to help Kuro, but saw how Chikeko did this before him. The two of them were a perfect team; the teacher of music protected his back, while Kuro protected hers. They even change their opponents from time to time.
"It seems that ours winning." Eugene said watching at them, "However the honors are even."
"Hm, you're right." Yamamoto nodded, "But these two are really formidable opponents." he nodded at Naomi with Mystic, "But the most interesting thing is why the hell that creature decided to run to the other side, it could take you if it wanted."
"Perhaps a feint." Eugene suggested, and then turned to Pavel who still was by them, "If you want, go and that girl."
"And what about you?" Pavel asked the minister.
"Don't worry if something goes wrong I'll help them." Dmitry chuckled, to Pavel, the boy nodded and rushed to help to Ren.
Mystic could snap out of Sakura for a moment being free for several seconds he sent a strong puff at the nearby person who still was standing alone and was gazing to the different sides.
'Blast is there still someone else?!' Chikeko thought, watching at the man with a hat, she was closer to him, and dashed to him with full speed. She was in time, she grabbed the man by his jacket and fall down onto the ground with him rolling by the floor a little, making Mystic's puff hit the wall.
"The hell you are doing here?" Chikeko shouted at him, "Get out of here fast!"
"Oh, wielkie dzięki pani1." the man referred with a smile, and quickly grabbed her arms, which were on his shoulders, the grip was strong and Chikeko was slightly surprised of it.
"What?" and then she started to feel strange, her body started to become weak and relaxed, she tried to pull out her arms , but the grip was strong, and her powers left her fast, 'Is it that Polish?' Chikeko thought falling onto the ground, 'My body… I… can move it!' she tried to get up, but her body wasn't listening to her.
"Sensei?!" Ren shouted, she wanted to help her, but she quickly dodged the attack of the demon.
"Pavel!" Dmitry shouted taking out two metal sticks out of the back of his jacket, "Go and help her!" he connected the sticks and then they started to transform into scythe.
"Got it!" Pavel over jumped demon letting Dmitry to fight him. Pavel saw how the Polish prepared for a strike, but the boy did a powerful jump and stood between the teacher and the doctor, Pavel was in time he used Wojciechowski's amusement and his sword clashed Pavel's one.
'It seems that they prepared perfectly.' Oleg thought clashing his sword with his Archon's claws.
"Thinking what to do?" Archon asked Oleg provoking.
"None of your business." Oleg spitted and pushed him away, he threw two daggers at Archon, but the man with scars quickly repelled them with a circling move and ran to him again. Oleg did a move with his fingers and called his daggers back, but this time they were aiming Archon's back.
"I see your moves perfectly." Archon said with a smile, and did the same move again and tried to get Oleg with his glove, but Oleg only jumped away, "Pavel, Dmitry! Changing!" Oleg shouted in Russian, "Dmitry to Archon, Pavel to the monster!" and then h ran to Chikeko.
Archon wanted to follow him, but Dmitry stood on his way, the monster faced the same obstacle in the face of Pavel. At the same time, Oleg hit the sword of Przemislav and made him to retreat on a distance, "How are you?" he asked Chikeko.
"Just decided to have a rest." she tried to joke and at the same time to move with her hands, but everything mere pointless.
"Don't worry, I'll fix it." Oleg smiled to her, and put his hand onto her forehead, he was watching at her and after several minutes he removed his hand, "Better?" he asked her.
Chikeko tried to move with her right hand, and this time it was successful, "But how did you do this?" Hirata asked him, with a surprise, "I tried my best to move, but you returned everything back, just with one… Wait, are you?"
"I'll tell you later." Oleg interrupted her, "First we must deal with these bastards."
"Yes." she got up grabbing her spear, Oleg wanted to go further, but was surprised when Chikeko pressed her lips against his, "Just a little reward for helping." she smiled to him, and then separated her spear for two pieces, she hanged one onto her belt nd the other one that reminded a flute left in her hands.
Oleg nodded and shouted, "Dmitry! Protect her I'll fight Archon now!"
"Got it." and then Dmitry stood in front of Chikeko, now he was holding not a scythe, but two swords in his hands.
The teacher pressed her flute to her lips and started to play a merry melody, also closing and opening the wholes on her flute.
"Again this damn musician!" Archon spitted trying to stop her playing, but he was stopped by Oleg's daggers and then by his sword.
The situation became equaled again, when Chikeko started her playing the enemies started to feel strange, likewise their bodies became heavy, but still they found powers to continue the fight, Mystic tried to summon wind in order to refract the sound, but it was difficult for him as Sakura didn't stop to attack. She started to fight him more angrily, likewise something irritated her a lot.
Naomi wasn't in good position too; Kuro didn't give her an opportunity to go to someone else and was able to hold her well. On the other hand demons tried to reach the musician teacher, but they were stopped by Dmitry and Ren and Dmitry was fighting Przemislav. The Polish was fast and cunning, but still Dmitry fought him avoiding his touches.
Suddenly the floor above Chikeko cracked the woman raised her head, what made her stop playing the flute. She dodged it and then saw how something was flying at her. Chikeko dodged again, as that something had a massive halberd that was ready to cut her in two.
"Their reinforcement?" she thought when she was in conditional safety.
Everyone was surprised of such unexpected thing.
"Just in time." Naomi smiled, she kicked Kuro at her stomach and jumped to the newcomer, "Where have you been for so long?" he was wearing metal armor and was holding a massive halberd in his hands.
"My apologizes, Mistress." he responded, "I've came as fast as my body was fully fixed."
"No we can start the real fun, can't we, Miyata?" she asked him, the man nodded and Rushed at Chikeko.
'Not him!' Chikeko thought fix her spear together.
'Like always hard to kill.' Kuro thought heading to help to Chikeko.
The battle began pretty hard, Chikeko couldn't fight Miyata perfectly, as he was pretty stronger than she was, his halberd was fast, and the lighting he used was destructible.
'How should I help them?' Eugene looked at the battle standing along with Yamamoto pretty far from the combatants, he examined each of them, and then his eyes widened; "Now!" he exclaimed and squatted.
"What are you doing?" the Japanese Minister was slightly surprised of seeing thisю, but Eugene responded nothing.
Eugene's eyes were directed at Mystic who was fighting Sakura and after a little his legs were grabbed by stone.
"What?" Mystic seemed quite surprised of this attack.
"Sakura, now!" Eugene shouted, the woman nodded and rushed at him again.
Mystic did a swing with his blades and crashed the stone that rapped his legs and then dodged Sakura's lunge, 'Damn Eugene.' he thought, and then did a wide swing with his arms.
"Shit! We won't escape it!" Yamamoto and Eugene tried to dodge the attack, but it was pretty fast and wide, it seemed like it was about to finish them, but suddenly they were saved, by Ren and Sakura, the tanned huntress pushed Eugene, while Sakura pushed Yamamoto.
"Not bad, girl." Eugene exhaled when Ren stood up and was about to protect the man, "I owe you one."
"Don't mention it." Ren responded and saw how Mystic was close to her, the man hit her blade with his one, she wanted to push his away, but couldn't as he wanted to get round and attack Eugene, but somehow Ren could protect the minister again.
"I won't you let do this!" she gritted through her teeth.
"We'll see." Mystic said, and saw how Eugene jumped away. Mystic looked at Sakura as he was wondered where that noisy woman is. She was busy with two other demons that had fought PPavel and Ren recently, "It seems that your teacher won't help you."
"I don't need her help." she pushed him away, and started to attack him fast but the man was fast too, and parried all her attack with his daggers.
"You're a potential girl." Mystic said, "But still you have lot to study and learn, especially about fighting opponents who are stronger than you are." he parried her attack again, and then hit her arm with his leg, the blade of the girl was let fly, and Mystic did another strong hit, this time at her hip, Ren bend down and saw how Mystic was about to strike again, for the last time, "But it's pitiful that your lesson ends here."
"The hell it is!" they heard a voice from the right, they both turned their head and saw Pavel who was ready to attack Mystic, the man only jumped away avoiding his attack, "While I live, nor you, nor other scums will ever harm her!" Pavel shouted, to him. These words made Ren stumbled, her eyes were widened, she didn't know what for he said these words.
"Are you sure in this?" Mystic tightened his grip on the hilts of his daggers.
"I'll rather die that let this happen!" he replied doing the same.
"I see." Mystic responded, but his answer was strange, it wasn't cold or provoking, it was calm and somewhat peaceful. Pavel tried to attack him, but Mystic only dodged it and jumped away from the boy.
"Naomi, Przemislav, Archon, Miyata!" Mystic shouted, "We are leaving!"
"What?" Archon and Naomi shouted.
"Our task is done; we have nothing here to do." Mystic explained a little.
"Jestem w drodze2." the Polish said parrying Dmitry's sword, and then running to Mystic.
"If you say so." Archon did the same, jumping away from Oleg.
"Let's go!" Naomi commanded to Miyata, the man only nodded. The demons did the same.
The wind started to grow stronger and stronger, "Eugene, I'm not saying good bye, be cautious or I'll get your neck fast." Mystic said in Russian and then they disappeared in a cyclone.
"Phew, finally gone." Dmitry exhaled when their enemy left them, also turning his swords into small metal sticks.
"Well, this attack was more unexpected then the last one." Kuro came to Oleg.
"Yes, even I haven't expected to see attacking during the day time." Oleg replied, "And especially in such staff, and Przemislav's trick, well it's all strange."
"What made you so puzzled?" Kuro asked Oleg.
"They were attacking us for sure; they took two mental users, as I understand the one planned to take us from behind, while the main forces fight us."
"And if he was waiting here for us, then it means they knew where to look for us, am I right?" Sakura came to them along with Chikeko.
"It seems so, but then we have another question, who told them about this location and the route." Oleg turned his head to the ministers.
"It seems that we have a rat." Eugene answered, "In our government I mean."
"But who?" Dmitry asked him, "No doubt, that it's Pavlov." he added then.
"Pavlov?" Chikeko asked him.
"Don't make such decisions boy." Oleg lectured him, "Even if it's him, we have no evidences against him, it's useless for us to make theories now."
"As you say." Dmitry responded.
While the elders were talking Pavel helped Ren to get up, "Are you alright?" he asked her.
"Y… Yeah." Ren only responded to him, "What about you?"
"Me too." Pavel nodded too, "Just some scratches and bruises, but everything is fine." both of them were buttered well, Ren was holding her arm with another one as it was aching after Mystic strike.
"Pavel, listen…" she wanted to say something, but she was interrupted by the elders.
"Hey, kids you did really well today." Sakura said coming to them, "Especially you Ren, protected a Minister of another country."
"I just did my work nothing more." Ren responded, turning to Sakura.
"Come one, just enjoy the moment, not all hunters can do such a thing." Pavel chuckled to her.
"Yes, sometime you should do this." Chikeko came to them too, "Am I right, Yatsu-san?"
"Yes I fully agree." he answered.
"The other important thing is that you fought Mystic that also deserving respect." Oleg smiled to her.
"You'll be rewarded a bit later." Yamamoto said with a father smile to Ren, but then added, "Well, let's go for the train, we must return to the village as fast as we only can, we can't be sure that they won't return." all of them nodded and ran to the platforms.
"Maybe she won't come today, how do you think?" Doppel asked smoking Splash, "Maybe she has forgotten about that meeting?"
"He said that she will come today, he had no intentions to lie or we would finish him yesterday." he responded.
"The problem is that can become a trap, he could warn her or prepare something really bad."
"Well, it's really good thoughts, but I don't think that he would go for this, just as I said, it was easy to say that he wants to live, so it in his interest to cooperate with us." Splash stated.
"Yes, but if Shiranui is working for Incubus King, that should give him the points to join his side rather than listen to us." Doppel said again.
"We can guess whatever we want, but still we have to get her at any cost, what' with the time?" he asked Hush. Doppel who was close to Hush looked at his hand console and said.
"Half past six."
"And still nothing." but suddenly Hush quickly got up after these words, "What is it?" Hush was looking at his console, not even turning his head to Splash, Doppel and Splash looked at each other and then, came to the metal person form both sides and looked at the display of his console too.
"So he didn't lie after all." Splash responded being slightly amused.
"It seems so." Doppel nodded watching at the screen.
They saw how a woman in black and white attire, who was jumping by the roofs fast, her suit was revealing, she had brown hair and a ribbon that reminded rabbit's ears, she had a massive spear on her back.
"Maybe we should attack her now?" Doppel asked the man.
"No, too risky." Splash threw away his cigarette, "She can escape, in the building we will be able to hold her, so we have to wait for her."
"Not a bad plan." the woman turned her head to him chuckling, "I didn't know that you can make plans like this."
"Bitch." he spitted.
"It was praising by the way." she quickly found what to say, but her smile was cunning.
"Double bitch." but Hush gave them a sign to calm down. And they turned to the screen again.
After some period of time, they saw Mizuki Shiranui coming to the building they were yesterday; she entered it through the main entrance. The drone lost her vision and was sent to the window of the master's room. The window still was crushed after yesterday's visiting and in the screen was easy to see, Shiranui's amusement.
"Let's go, I don't think he will be able to give her runaround for long." Splash said, noticed that Yukikaze's mother started to suspect something.
Their location wasn't far from the needed place it was in two buildings from it, so they reached it fast, and in no time they reached the office of the man, where he and Shiranui were talking.
"Mizuki Shiranui!" Splash declared, "You're coming with us."
"Huh?" she was a bit surprised, "Who are you people?"
"Who we're mustn't worry you, the only think is important is that you're going with us." Doppel said to her.
'I was right that it was a trap, the window told everything for itself.' Shiranui thought and glanced at the man who quickly got up from his chair and ran to the farthest corner of the room.
Shiranui quickly took out her spear and then quickly dashed to the man in the corner; with one swing he chopped his head, 'Wow fast!' Doppel and Splash were surprised seeing such speed, but Hush wasn't waiting for long and quickly exposed his blade and whip and headed to attack the woman.
"Not bad." Shiranui chuckled, protecting herself with the hilt of her spear, "You're fast too."
Splash dashed to help Hush preparing his double sword for attack, but the woman pushed Hush away, and then protected herself from the man with blue uniform. Shiranui started to fight with Splash, the man tried his best, but he started to feel that he won't be able to fight her alone, Doppel and Hush were in time, the woman turned her arms into long spikes and started to attack Shiranui, Hush decided to help them with his whip.
'Cyborg and the woman who can change her limbs.' the woman with big bust thought, "Not a bad team and that man again.' she remembered Splash, 'Who the hell is he?' Shiranui did a large swing with her spear and then stretched her arm and a water spear flew out of it. The spear hit Hush, but it didn't harm him, Shiranui quickly appeared next to him and started to attack strongly and quickly.
'Shit.' Splash spitted and ran to help his comrade.
Then Mizuki kicked Hush at his chest, the person fell onto the table of the killed man and cracked it. Doppel clashed her limbs with Mizuki's blade.
"Doppel aside!" Splash shouted, Doppel jumped away and then Splash released a water stream at Shiranui out of his mouth.
Shiranui dodged his attack and then sad, "Not bad, boy, girl and cyborg." she said with a smile, but this smile was smile of a hunter, who was enjoying the hunting after his prey, "You're not Taimanin, are you?" the trio responded nothing, "How about to join Incubus King instead of fighting? You're pretty strong, and can be very helpful to him; with such team we'll be able to increase the power of my master."
"I'm sorry, but we're not interested in it." Splash chuckled as such offer, "We are interested in you."
"It was somehow ambiguous, don't you think so?" Doppel asked him.
"Perhaps." the man pondered.
"And can I ask you a question, then? Why are you interested in me?"
"Not we, but someone important for us and especially for you, who you know of course." Doppel answered for Splash.
"Someone whom I know?" she pondered and then her eyes were widened slightly, "Isn't it Yukikaze?" she asked them, but there was no answer, as Hush used his whip in order to catch her. The effect of surprise worked and he could tie it around her thigh, "Despicable move." she said with a smile, but then she turned herself into water and then appeared next to Doppel. She hit the fair hair woman at her stomach and then at her chin, after these attacks she fell down onto the ground, "I can play the same."
Then Splash appeared behind Shiranui, holding two swords in each hand, "Well, then let's start playing seriously."
"If you say so, then I'll start too." then two clones appeared behind Shiranui each was a perfect copy of the original one, and in no time they headed to attack the other two members of 'Red Division'.
Now they were in a bad position, because the clones were as powerful as the real Shiranui was, however they were a bit slow and primitive, what used Hush and Doppel, while Splash was fighting the real Shiranui. The drone started to help Hush it flew and distracted the water clone, and in some periods he was able to help Splash with his fight, Doppel on the other hand hadn't such opportunity but she changed her limb in order to ambush her opponent.
The first one who dealt with his opponent was Hush. After drones interference he could hug the clone, and then he started to use his ultrasound. The clone turned into water and then into puddle on the floor. Then Hush hurried to help Splash. The two of them started to prevail over Shiranui. The woman understood that she won't win against such strong opponents and tried to create another clones, but her attempt was failed, first by Splash, who started to shoot with water streams at her and then by Hush, who used his ultrasound on the floor. Not giving Shiranui an opportunity to focus on her clones, and his drone was also helping them.
When Doppel finished with the clone, she headed to help too, Shiranui created water weapons like swords and spears, but it didn't work as planned against such skillful opponents as this trio, 'My, my, I won't be able to defeat these three together, if there were only two of them, so maybe I could think something, but fighting them together is a pointless time spending.' she thought dodging one attack after another.
"Doppel try to get her from the right." Splash shouted, Doppel nodded and then she rushed to Shiranui.
'My chance!' Shiranui thought, she jumped away and hit Splash from above, then she hit the pale woman, who was astonished of such unexpected moves, "Well, if you don't want to join master, so…" she prepared her spear for finishing Doppel, "I should say you farewell." but she was interfered by, the whip of Hush, and the sword of Splash.
"Just give up Shiranui; you'll never be able to defeat the three of us." Splash stated.
"I'm sorry, but I won't give up." she smiled to them; she quickly glanced back, and made sure that the window now was behind her and at the same time not far.
"Don't let her…" Doppel shouted, but she wasn't able to finish as Shiranui jumped away into the broken window.
"After her!" Splash shouted, and was the first one who jumped into the window; Hush and Doppel did it at the same time.
Shiranui was jumping from one roof top to another one, however after her were the three chasers, who wanted to stop her, suddenly Shiranui created three clones and then all of them ran to different sides, doing several moves first in order to mess the chasers.
"What the…?!" Splash stopped being puzzled and stumbled at the same time, the drone of Hush started to slow down and fall, however with pressing several buttons he could return it back onto his chest, "The hell you did that idiot?! Send him back!" Splash ordered, but Hush didn't do it, "I said you do it!" Splash started to get closer to Hush, but Doppel quickly stood between them.
"Wait, his drone! Is about to run down if he send it, it will be useless in any events!" Hush only nodded, Splash wanted to say something again, but Doppel interrupted him, "I'll try to nose her out." Only then Splash nodded and cooled down.
Doppel turned into the demon dog with massive limbs and started to sniff with the nose, but then she suddenly stumbled, 'No way! Can she give the same smell to her clones?!' she thought being in the demonic for, she tried again, but everything was pointless, Doppel sensed four same smell, not even a single difference. She turned back into her human form and said with a lowered voice, "It seems we won't be able to find her this time."
"What do you mean?!" Splash grabbed the collar of her uniform, "Try again, we can't lost her!"
"I told you to…" Splash wasn't able to finish his order as he received a strong slap.
"Cool down!" Doppel ordered, making him ambushed, "Do you think that I don't want to get her and bring to her daughter?!" she said shouting, "I know that she is a wife of your best friend and I know that you want to repay Yukikaze the debt that helped to save yours and Hush's lives, but you shouldn't do this mission being on emotions! We can't follow her because it can be a trap, the smell of these clones is the same, and Hush's drone is about to run down." she came closer to him, and said a calm and warm like a sister or mother, "We are all family and Yasuhiro was the part of it, Commander gave us a mission to return her, we couldn't do it this time, will do it next time, but please don't put members of our family in danger, with this stupid and reckless risk." Hush was only watching at this dialogue, when Doppel ended, he merely nodded at her words.
Splash seemed to be cooled now, "Sorry, for my hot temper, I thought, we will be able to get Shiranui and wanted to do it fast."
"She is really a strong huntress, and we made sure in it today, but it also taught us something new about fighting and we also won't do the mistakes we did today next time she will have more trouble fighting us."
"Yeah, it's stupid to rely on emotions here." Splash sighed, "There are a really shit in such situations, next time we will definitely get her."
"Let's go to the base, commander said he wanted to send someone to get some information about Shiranui, maybe he could get it?"
"Let's do so." Splash nodded and then they headed to the opposite direction to Mizuki Shiranui.
It was about eight o'clock; four people were standing on a roof top, watching at the night club, they were Arthur with Tomas, Izumi and the boy about fifteen years old. Tomas crossed his arms on his chest, while Arthur was spinning his cane in his hand. Izumi was standing at the edge of the building watching after the main entrance of the club for the woman with gray hair, the boy was standing by her side and was waiting for her commands.
"Are you ready?" she suddenly asked him.
"Ah?" the boy taken out of his thoughts, "Yes." he responded, "Worrying a bit, but I'm ready."
"Nice to hear." Izumi answered to him, "Our opponents are veteran hunters and underestimating them can cost dearly in battle."
"I know, I've fought recently some demons with Master Walter."
"And what were they?" Izumi asked him again.
"Orks, skeletons werewolves and etc." the boy replied, "But of course I could fight not much of them, and I always was protected by him." he rubbed the back of his head and smiled stupidly.
"Even skeletons?" Izumi seemed surprised.
"Yes, Master can create skeletons out of dead bodies and if he want he can create really strong undead."
"Is he a servant of the Corpse Lord?"
"I don't know, Master is really a strong person, I don't think that he serves to anyone." the boy suggested, "But he told me about someone who betrayed him long ago, and how he wants to avenge them."
"Why do you call him Master? As I see, some of the other members of your organization call him just Walter."
"Well, I was raised by him and trained too, and for my whole life I called him Master." the boy answered.
'Just as I and Azumi.' the girl thought, "Do you admire him?"
The boy lowered his head, and quietly responded, "No." Izumi was surprised by this answer, she have already met Walter, but she didn't know anything about him, she understood that he is a person, with whom it's a bad idea to joke, but she didn't know that th boy didn't admire him, like she and her sister did to Naomi, Naomi wasn't form kind persons, but still she was fair, to her subordinates and would never attack the one who didn't make any mistake, she saw only once when Naomi was really angry, when Izumi and Azumi couldn't protect an important person, then they were tortured well, but the other times were pretty good.
Suddenly the girl saw a white car, it came to the club, and a woman with short gray hair and in official suit went out of it. She was wearing a gray skirt and white elegant shirt. She slowly went to the door of the building.
"Here she is." Izumi said to her team mates, Arthur and Tomas came to them and Tomas said, with some merry voice.
"And is this our target? It seems like she will fall to pieces in no time."
"I have told you that she is a veteran Taimanin, so if you underestimate her, you'll die pretty fast."
"Don't worry, my brother remembers everything perfectly, it's just his sense of humor is in lack." Arthur replied with a chuckle.
"Why you…"
"Stop, we are going." Izumi prepared herself for teleportation, the three men came close to her, and then, in no time they appeared in the corridors of the night club.
Nakamura was walking by the corridors of the night club and was thinking about upcoming meeting, 'Why the hell did he wanted to meet me in such place? If not these special documents that Hayasi wanted to show, I would never agree to come here, she looked at the handbag that was on her shoulder, and thought again, 'If he pull gimmick I won't wait long.' She got to the second floor of the night club and then went further by the corridor, 'He said that these documents were about Munechi interesting what has he found and why the hell he didn't give it to the government first?' she came to the door and opened it, "Hayasi, I'm here what documents you wanted to show?" but when she entered the room she heard a strange and cunning voice.
"What Hayasi? I'm afraid that there's no one with such name." the man with white costume and hat said chuckling.
"What the…?" the door behind her quickly closed, and she saw a girl along with some boy, 'So this was a trap after all.' she gritted her teeth.
"Dear Miss." Arthur started, "Please forgive us, but you're to be eliminated."
"So frankly, she turned to the man; I like people who don't beat around the bush." Nakamura answered to him, "But I think, you have no idea whom you're going to fight."
"We know that you're a retired Taimanin and we also know that you have some protection somewhere." Tomas said with a grin.
'They know even this?' Nakamura narrowed her eyes. Her eyes focused on two brothers, she saw how they hit each other fists, and then started to get closer to her, she glanced to the right, and saw the window, she quickly jumped into it and then started to jump by the edges of the buildings.
"How I like this." Tomas said and the four quickly followed her.
Izumi with the boy were faster than the brothers, and they started to get Nakamura, how suddenly an obstacle appeared between them, it was a tall man in closed black tight suit, he exposed his katana and said, "Nakamura-san, escape I'll take care of them."
"You won't be able to do this, there other two people." she said to him.
"Here." he said pushing Izumi away, he threw her two special blades which covered her hands, Nakamura caught them and then put them on.
"I'll go further, and when you finish your fight just follow me." Nakamura said, and then jumped further.
"She is leaving!" the boy said, and when the man was about to attack them, two brothers appeared.
"Go after her!" Arthur shouted, clashing his cane with man's katana.
"We'll deal with him." Tomas grinned.
"When you're finished just follow us." Izumi said to them and followed the woman.
"Do your best." the boy added and followed her, preparing his trident, too.
"So brother, let's see how we will fight another skillful hunter." the man with the hat said.
"Just like the rest." the muscular man said, and both of them hit each other's fists again, a nd then ran at the Taimanin.
The chasing was intensive, the woman tried not to fight with young criminals; she wanted to make a bog distance between two groups and only then to fight them.
'Shit, she is fast!' Izumi thought, 'I must use teleportation in order to get her.' she focused her eyes at the woman inform of her, and then quickly turned her eyes to the place on her right, then the girl with the scarf quickly appeared next to the woman and tried to kick her with her leg.
Nakamura could protect herself from Izumi's attack, but then her path was closed by Izumi and from the back the boy didn't allow to let her escape.
"Have Naomi decided to send just two kids to do all dirty work?" Nakamura asked Izumi.
"None of your business." she replied to the woman and then attacked her.
Izumi was fast, but the woman was fast too and at the same time more skillful then Izumi, the boy didn't think for long and joined the battle. Woman's weapon was giving her a lot of opportunities during the battle. Having a short blade Izumi could parry all her attacks, while the boy decided to attack the woman with his trident.
The work of young people was well coordinated, although the boy was young and badly experienced in fights, he wasn't bad at all, and his attack gave Izumi and opportunity to think attacks properly.
'She is fast.' the boy thought trying to strike her by the woman's legs, but she could avoid such attack, and then she decided to start to attack him, as she understood that she was a weaker opponent.
'It's bad.' Izumi understood her way, 'He won't be able to stand long against her.'
"Boy, behind me!" Izumi commanded.
The boy nodded and wanted to do what was told, but the women used this confusion, and stroke his weapon out of his hand, then she quickly hit him at his stomach and grabbed him for his for his neck.
"One move and he is done!" Nakamura said, her eyes were directed at the girl.
"Shit." she hissed.
'Damn it, if I only was a bit more careful…' the boy thought.
"Hey what's going on?" they heard a voices behind Izumi; it was Arthur along with Tomas.
"Don't go any further!" Izumi commanded to them as she saw how the boy started to gasp, thus the woman started to choke him, and it wasn't bluff. The brother did what was said, but her grip didn't become weaker.
'It seems that the bodyguard is dead.' she thought, 'Well, I shall finish this boy, and then I'll deal with these three.' she stopped for a second and looked at the boy, who tried to catch some breath, but couldn't as his throat was grabbed tightly.
'I must think of something or he is dead.' Izumi tried to find a way to help the boy, Arthur was doing the same, while Tomas was only waiting.
Suddenly, the boy's eyes started to roll up and his breath started to become discontinuous, the boy wheezed something.
"No!" Izumi exclaimed, but she wasn't ready to see next.
The eyes of the boy became red, just as flame, he put his hands onto the hand of Nakamura that was on his neck, and next frightened her a lot, she heard a voice that didn't belong to the human, and especially not to that boy.
"Boklyang!" the boy roared and then the woman quickly released him, also jumping away from him.
"What the…?! What is this boy?!" Nakamura said dropping her daggers, she covered her hand with another one, and looked at it, 'Such a scorch?!' she thought looking at her arm, it was her mistake Arthur and Tomas used this confusing and hit each other's fists again, and then Tomas quickly ran to her and grabbed her by her neck.
The boy was lying on the ground his eyes still were red as flame, he was twitching and Izumi was scared, as she didn't know what was going on, and didn't know how to help him, she ran to him and said, "Everything is fine, we got her!" she only shouted.
"At…syugat…!" the boy said again and then closed his eyes and fall down onto the ground powerless.
Izumi checked his pulse, the boy was alive and she breathed out.
"Finish her." Izumi ordered.
"With pleasure." Tomas responded and then broke woman's neck, and then he gave her body to fall onto the ground, "Done."
"So brute." Arthur said, "You could do something no that cruel."
"It was painless death." Izumi said him, "Now give her the documents and let's go out of here."
"Yes the document." Arthur said, and put the document into his hand bag that were under his jacket, and then he threw it t the woman.
"Now we can leave." the man with the hat said fixing it.
Izumi put the boy onto her back, and then closed her eyes. In no time they vanished from the roof of some building.
