Chapter 6
"How do you think, have these Taimanin found something?" Massimo asked Mechanic.
"I don't know, but we shouldn't rest and continue our searching too." Paul replied to his comrade, "As I understand they decided to monitor that man from the expo. We on the other hand, should try to find this damn lunatic."
"He was really dangerous." Kangaroo said, "We'll we be able to defeat him without these hunters?"
"Don't worry, I have some tricks in my pocket." the man with sun glasses chuckled, "We should investigate the place, which was attacked, maybe there's still something, what could help us to find him."
"I don't think so." Massimo replied, "He is from those, who never left any tracks of his actions."
"If only Hush was here, we could find everything fast." Kangaroo moaned.
"Don't worry, I can do what Hush can." Mechanic chuckled, and pressed some buttons, on his mechanical arms, then a drone, appeared out of their back, "Of course, it's not good s Hush's one, but still quite something."
"Wow, you finally decided to take it with you! Awesome!" the boy was rejoiced seeing that.
"Well, now let's send it back to the expo." Mechanic said, and continued his ponderings, "Knowing this scum he would place somewhere on the fringe of the town, in Croatia he did this."
"Croatia has less population." Massimo said, "Even I would do this on his place. Japan has much more population then Croatia so there's no need to hide that far."
"On the contrary." Mechanic shook with his head, "It depends on the city, this one hasn't got much population, and at the same time it's dangerous to separate in the middle of the locality, as lots of different people will notice you."
"Your truth." the massive man agreed, "So where should we start?"
"Well, the problem is that where he flew, but somehow I think he flew there." the man opened the map of the town on the display, which was in his arm, and pointed to western direction.
"You think so, because…?" Kangaroo wanted Mechanic to finish the sentence.
"Just think that we should at least check something." Mechanic did what the boy wanted.
Then they quickly jumped onto another building along with a drone, which was above them. Their way wasn't long, as the town wasn't really big.
When they were on the place, they could see rare building, which were built not structural and were separated chaotically. They started to look at each building, trying to find at least something, but still everything was vain.
"Well, let's do it easier." Mechanic sent the drone to check the area.
The drone started to fly, Massimo decided to have some free time sitting on the roof top, where they were. Kangaroo on the other side, was watching at the display of Mechanic, trying to see something there too. They spent quite much time in this position, Massimo started to feel irritated.
"It'd be faster if we investigated the nearby ourselves." he turned to the two.
"It wouldn't splitting right now isn't good, we're not as strong as other devoted members, and for us to work alone will cause lots of troubles." Mechanic answered, "Even I never prefer to work alone, so there's no need to speak about you two."
"You're saying I'm weak, huh?" Massimo didn't like how his captain was speaking about him.
"After all, it wasn't me who was wounded by cyborgs." Paul chuckled.
"And whose fault it was?" the man watched at the kid, who became little upset hearing these words.
"That's why this time we won't split up in groups, if we had one more member I would think of it." Paul continued his explanation.
"Hey, what was that?" Kangaroo said unexpectedly.
"Where?" Mechanic turned to the display.
"Turn around." the boy asked.
The man did what was said, and saw some flying object, which reminded a human.
"How interesting, my idea was fortunate." Mechanic smiled, "One of his robots, and it's flying to our direction."
"What should we do?" the massive one got up and became energetic.
"Make a trap; it's a machine, so it won't be difficult for us to fool it." Paul looked at the sky, the sun still was there. They tried to hide on the roof, Kangaroo and Mechanic did it behind the roof entrance, while Massimo went into the building, "Almost here, will you be able to work with stone?"
"Why do you ask?" the boy didn't understand.
"I want you to send me into the air, and let me grab it." Mechanic explained.
"If you want I can send in into the flight." Massimo offered his help.
"Well, let's try we have only one chance after all."
Massimo prepared for the throw and Mechanic did the same. The silence covered the space around them, for several seconds. Each second stood high favor, and there was no right to lose the opportunity, which was in their hands.
"Now!" Mechanic suddenly exclaimed, he ran onto the middle of the rooftop.
Massimo did the same; he grabbed the man with the vest and threw him into the air.
"Hey!" Mechanic shouted attracting the attention of the robot, "Junk!"
Everything worked perfectly, the cyborg took his attention at the noise and Mechanic could grab the leg of the cyborg. The cyborg wanted to take a flight higher, but the man could slick climb onto its back and hit the jetpack, "Got you." He chuckled at his work.
The cyborg started to lose the altitude, Mechanic quickly jumped off of him, and landed onto the ground quickly rolling for some small distance. The cyborg had much worse landing, it hit the roof top strongly, the other two members of 'Red Division' quickly reached the place of cracking.
"Not bad!" Massimo exclaimed exposing his axe, and then attacked the cyborg.
The machine dodged the lunge, but wasn't in time to dodge Kangaroo's one. The battle wasn't long, Mechanic quickly joined them and the trio dealt with the cyborg in no time. The massive one chopped its arm, the boy pierced its chest and the man in the vest chopped the head of the machine.
"Like always good work." Mechanic replied at the well-coordinated work, "Now we can investigate it." he said taking the head of the cyborg, "Take the rest too, it think it'll be useful to me."
"Got it." the kid took the arm, and Massimo took the rest.
"How do you think has he noticed us?" Shizuru asked Murasaki on their way to the exit of the factory.
"I don't know, but I everything becomes clear now, that Yazaki is a smart ass, who must be punished long ago." Murasaki said rather to herself, then to Shizuru, "How I didn't get it earlier?"
"Let's make it faster." Shizuru offered, "I have a bad feeling." Murasaki nodded and then they both increased their pace.
They quickly jumped through the fence of the factory, and headed to the middle of the city. Murasaki and Shizuru felt better, when more people started to appear on their way that gave them the thought they wouldn't be attacked in such crowded place. They decided to go to a small café in order to rest for a little, and they planned to report Asagi, what they'd found.
"There's one question, which bothers me from the beginning. Who could kill Nakamura? If even Yazaki doesn't relate to it, then, who needed it?" Shizuru asked Murasaki.
"I don't know, but I have some feeling that it could be done by our friends from that organization." Murasaki replied, but then calmed down as the waitress came to them to take their orders.
They ordered a cup of coffee to each other and some cookies to eat.
"Are you ure in it?" Shizuru asked her with a worried voice, "If they are now political killers, they would dig a grave to themselves with such act."
"I don't think so." Murasaki replied fast, "If they were afraid to act openly, they would hide themselves properly and wouldn't expose themselves that fast. And at the same several times."
"Your truth." the blonde agreed, "But what should we do with Yazaki? This talk proves nothing, that he is cooperated with criminality."
"Yes, but now we know that we can wait from him." Murasaki put her hands in a lock, "We know that something binds him with Sasaki, now we're to find what, and what binds him with that Mosquito."
The waitress brought them their order, and put the plate with cookies between their cups, Murasaki's cheeks became slightly red as she looked at the cookies. They were cooked as the heads of cats. Shizuru took it and ate one pretty quickly, Murasaki wanted to say something, but couldn't as she didn't want to look awkward.
"How do you think, have the boys found something?" Shizuru asked Murasaki, who still wasn't sure in eating their snack.
"Well, I don't know." she coughed in her fist, "They have their mission, we haves ours, so I don't try to get into they have."
"From my point of view, it'd be better if we joined them, it'd be much better and faster." the blonde did a sip of her coffee, "Two heads are much better than one."
"You just wanted to joke over that boy didn't you?" Murasaki looked at Shizuru.
"And this too." Shizuru chuckled.
"I thought Tatsurou and Yukikaze are the main targets of your pranks."
"All young people are the targets of my pranks." the woman chuckled.
"How I hate that quality in you an in Sakura." Murasaki sighed and started to eat cookies too.
They enjoyed their snack and started to talk about the plans, how to reveal Yazaki and Sasaki's black relations. Shizuru offered some ideas, but Murasaki rejected them as she saw them pointless. Murasaki thought it needed something special to make it clear, and she wanted to think everything properly.
After some period of time they left the café and headed to their shelter.
'It's doesn't seem good.' Murasaki thought looking somewhere to the right, she glanced at Kousaka, the blonde girl nodded and they turned a lane, where was no one.
They quickly jumped onto the building, which pretty high, in order to not to be exposed by the other passerby. When they jumped onto the roof they were quickly surrounded with a squad of robots.
"How sweet and it was when I started to feel easiness." Shizuru wasn't glad of what was going to happen.
Then woman quickly ripped their official suits in order to expose their battle ones. Shizuru grabbed her whip, while Murasaki had no options but to fight with her bare hands.
"Let's start the fun?" Shizuru chuckled and got ready to dodge the lunge of one cyborg.
The squad consisted of fifteen cyborgs, they all looked similar, and there was nothing what could differ one from another one. Shizuru put her hand into the bag that was on her hips and took out something small out of there. She threw the object at a cyborg that was about to attack her, and when it touched the robot, the last one was covered with thick vines, and fall onto the ground. With another one Shizuru dealt with her whip.
If Shizuru had little troubles in fighting, Murasaki had a bit more troubles she was to fight the cyborgs with her bare hands; however her superhuman strength gave her some good moments. When two cyborgs wanted to get her from two sides, Murasaki jumped and crushed the head of one machine, then she grabbed the body of it and threw it at another one.
'If only I had my axe.' Murasaki thought dodging the blade of the robot, 'How Sato fights with in her gloves, it's definitely uncomfortable.'
Little by little the crowed squad started to decrease, and the Taimanin started to feel better themselves. Murasaki started to fight bolder and Shizuru tried to protect Murasaki with her whip.
Suddenly one of the cyborgs started to escape, while the rest four focused on letting him, to escape.
'Shit!' Murasaki thought, 'We won't be able to chase him.'
"If only not these four." Shizuru announced the thought of her partner.
After some period of time they finally dealt with the rest and Murasaki finally said, "It seems he noticed us, and sent the toys to deal with us."
"Yeah, no doubt that it were Sasaki's robots. So what should we do know?"
"Let's hurry to the shelter and then we'll think of something."
"Not a bad idea." the blonde agreed.
"Didn't know these Taimanin would be so skillful, even my last models were unable to get them." Sasaki said watching at the computer, which was on his table, "Well, well if not that Yazaki, I wouldn't compromise myself like that." the man got up and came to the window, which was behind him, "One thing pleases me, they have no direct evidences that I work with criminality, so I can send my battle suit after them." Sasaki grinned, "If I catch them, I'll remove all unneeded attention and maybe I'll be able to take one of them as a personal slave, Murasaki would be better for it." he licked his lips, and turned around.
Sasaki went to the exit of his office. Then he went by the corridors of the building, which created for the main directors of the factory. While the man was walking his phone called and he took out it of his pocket, he saw that the call belonged to 'Master', he quickly took it and changed his voice to soft and more excited.
"Yes, Master Kuroi?" Sasaki said into the phone.
"Sasaki, I was informed that Taimanin have visited your factory." the man heard a cold voice in his telephone, it made him flinch, "I hope there is nothing dangerous, and our project isn't under a threat?"
"No, everything is fine, they found nothing." Sasaki lied, "They've already left it, so if you want I can send some robots after them."
"No need, I'd like you to send your creation." Ryuji replied to him, "It's a great opportunity to check it and see does it need some enhancements or not."
"Yes, I'll do it." Sasaki replied with a firm voice, "I'm sure they'll visit my factory once more, so it'll be a good opportunity for Destroyer to show its power."
"Nice to hear, you feel the same." Kuroi had notes of pleasing in his voice, "One more thing, I hope Yazaki told you that one of our bases was attacked, I hope you'll do something to improve its protection."
"Yes, I'll send some robots right now,"
"Good and one more thing." Kuroi said, and did a brief pause, "I hope you won't fail me."
"Don't worry, I won't fail you everything will be done perfectly, and can I ask you about the favor?" Kuroi didn't replied letting him to understand that he could speak, "If I capture the Taimanin can I have one for myself?" Sasaki gulped.
After a short pause Kuroi finally replied, "I don't mind, if everything is fine, you can have even two for yourself." Kuroi slightly chuckled and put down the phone.
"Nice to hear that." Sasaki chuckled and continued his way.
He came to the lift and pressed several buttons, and then lift went down. In a minute the doors of the lift were opened, and Sasaki went in some sort of an underground workshop. Sasaki was met by another man, who was wearing a uniform of mechanic.
"Good day, sir." the man greeted Sasaki, "Has something happened? You never come here in the afternoon, have something happened?"
"Yes, I have an order to check Destroyer."
"But, he is not ready; I don't think it's a good idea to send it right now." the mechanic disagreed with him, "What if something goes wrong?'"
"Master Kuroi ordered me to give it a test drive." Sasaki replied, "So there are no opportunities to delay it for any longer."
"I see." the person still wasn't sure was it a good idea or not to send unfinished project for a test drive, "And who are our targets?"
"Taimanin, who visited the factory." he responded irritated.
"Sir, on your place, I would think twice. Taimanin are dangerous opponents I don't think it'll be able to stand against them."
"As I remember it supposed to be much stronger and firmer than Taimanin." Sasaki looked at the mechanic, "Or did I spend all this time in the pipe?"
"No, but…" the man didn't finish his statement.
"Then get it ready. I want to see it before you send him, let's make an optional test drive to it." Sasaki chuckled.
"Yes, let's go." mechanic nodded and both of them went by the corridors of a secret workshop.
Then they walked by its corridors, they met several people there, who were working on special robots, which were created for hunting people and especially Taimanin. The robots were similar to those, which attack Shizuru and Murasaki, but these one also were different from each other, some of them had weapons for melee, and some them had for a range battle. Sasaki looked at the robots with interested. As the mechanic said they were from the last models, and the director wanted to check them all.
"Interesting, will they'll be able to break the armor of the Destroyer?" Sasaki asked his interlocutor.
"I don't think so, Destroyer was created for fighting Taimanin, the only bad thing we still haven't corrected is that it has a lack in speed and it won't be able to chase Taimanin."
"This problem will be amended with several cyborgs." Sasaki quickly replied, as if he knew the problematic of Destroyer.
They went onto the balcony, which was in the middle of some spacy room, which seemed like a testing area. Under them was standing a massive thing, which reminded a human, but was completely metallic. The machine was really massive, it had a cannon on it shoulder. The thing was standing peacefully, waiting for something.
When Sasaki took his place the machine started to move, the moves were slow and clumsy, but still tremendous.
"Are we ready?" Sasaki asked his companion.
"Yes." he replied as several cyborgs started to surround the machine.
The cyborgs got closer and closer to it, but the machine didn't react at their coming. One of the cyborgs decided to attack the machine strait, the blade of it hit the shoulder of the machine, but there was trail of the hit. The machine grabbed the arm of the attacker and hit it at its chest, the machine started have convulsions. The other cyborgs, which was created for ranged attacks started to shoot at Destroyer, but all shots were pointless. The machine shot a wire out of its hand and tied the machine, and then pointed its canon at the target. Destroyer shot and destroyed the cyborg completely, the wire returned into it hand.
"Not, bad, as I see Destroyer started to move a little faster, after all." Sasaki was glad with what he'd just saw.
"It seems so, but still we have to work over him a lot."
The third cyborg was smarter and tried to compensate the lock of brute force with its speed. The little machine tried to find any weak place of the machine, but everything was useless and it was caught with the wire, and dragged to them machine and then destroyed with cracking of it head. With some period of time all cyborgs were destroyed, while the Destroy was intact.
"Not really bad." Sasaki looked at the time on the screen of his telephone, "It could deal with them faster than the last time, it's really surprising. I think with some additional robots it'll be able to capture Taimanin."
"If you think so, then it really so." the mechanic agreed with the words of the director, "By the way, don't you want to enlarge project Destroyer?" Sasaki was interested of these words, "You could put the brain of Taimanin in it and then we could see the result of it."
"Well I like the idea of it; I think Master will also like it." Sasaki pondered, "Fine, if we catch two Taimanin today will use one as a test instance." he smiled, "Very well, prepare everything for tonight, I hope will catch these cunning kittens."
The time passed really fast, and the lessons finished really fast for the students. Most of them went to their clubs, while some other students decided to have a snack or just go home and rest, or to practice.
Masami was walking by the corridors of the academy looking for someone; however she didn't ask the people for the clues of her searching.
'Where's Pavel? I wanted to ask him some question about practicing.' she thought, 'Maybe there is something I could do except mediation?' she went to the ladder, 'Maybe he is in his club? It was the club of kendo.'
She quickly started to get down in order reaching the big gym, as it was the place, where the club was placed. On her way to the gym she suddenly bumped at Aki, who was heading to the club too.
"Oh, Masami, nice to meet you. Are you looking for something?" Aki asked her as Masami looked like that.
"Yes." she nodded, "I'm looking for Pavel. I hoped I would find him in your club."
"What are you looking him for?" Aki asked her, he was surprised, why the closed girl needed to see someone.
"I want to ask him something, nothing special." Masami replied calmly, she didn't want to dedicate Aki in her treatment.
"I see." Aki replied, "Well, I think he should be in the club he always comes earlier than me."
They continued their way, but now a little slower, "You started to become so lively these days, have something happened?" Aki asked her, these changes didn't give to him peace and at the same time he wanted to know what made her to be so.
"What do you mean?" she didn't understand her question.
"Well, don't think that I'm rude or something like that, but you always was close and preferred not to take part in lessons until you're asked, but today you was just another person, so I thought that there was something that changed you."
"There's nothing like that." Masami got what the boy wanted to know, "I just want to give good impression on these lessons nothing more. So there's no need to worry about me." then she thought, 'I don't think that it'll be a good idea to tell them all right know about my therapy. Better to delay it for a good time.'
"I see, by the way have you encountered Pavel somewhere today?"
"Is it an interrogation?" Masami raised her eyebrow.
"No, of course not!" Aki protested, "Sorry if I bother you a lot with my questions." Aki asked for forgiveness.
Masami only sighed, "Yes, we've encountered today." she replied, "And because of that talk I want to see him."
"I see." Aki nodded.
When they finally reached the gym, first thing Aki and Masami did is coming to Rinko, who had a practice battle right now. Rinko noticed that Aki was in a company so she decided to stop the duel and know what they wanted from her.
"Rinko, is Pavel here?" Aki asked her, "Masami is looking for him."
"No, Pavel said he won't come today, because of some mission." Rinko replied, "Have something happened?"
"No nothing to worry about." Masami turned around and decided to leave the gym, "I'll ask him tomorrow then."
"As you wish." Aki was stumbled with such reaction of the girl.
Masami left the gym and went to the window she put her arms onto the windowsill and pondered, 'Maybe it'd be better to ask the teacher? After all they are more skillful in this theme.' she looked at the outdoors and was examining people around, how they were chatting or how the pairs were doing lovey-dovey things, 'Interesting, can everything return back to normal.' she sighed and continue her way to the classroom of the Russian teacher, 'This Pavel is really an interesting boy. He is kind, helpful, trustful in some places he is a contrast to him.'
"Andou? It's a surprise to see you here in such time?" Masami heard a voice behind her and saw a woman in a black skirt with a white, with a bow tie on her neck, "Have something happened?" Asagi asked the girl.
"Igawa-sense." Masami was slightly surprised, "No, I was looking for Pavel, has he gone for a mission?" Masami asked the principle too.
"Yes, Pavel with Hirata-sensei are on a mission." Asagi nodded, "I hope our Russian student doesn't cause you trouble if you're looking for him?"
"No, I just wanted to talk with him nothing more or less." Masami replied with the same peaceful voice.
"They'll return tomorrow so you'll be able to speak with him." Asagi said with a smile, "As I understand you two get well with each other don't you?"
"In some ways." Masami shrugged with her shoulders, "Why?"
"No, it's nothing. I'm just glad seeing you starting to open yourself in front of someone." Asagi looked at her student, "It's only can make me happy, don't make him turn form you." Asagi turned around and continued her way.
'I won't.' Masami answered in her head and continued her way.
In no time she reached the needed classroom, she knocked at the door and heard a voice out of it.
"Come in!"
Masami opened the door, and saw two Russian teachers in front of her. Oleg was sitting on the desk in the middle and Maria was sitting at her working place.
"Good afternoon." Maria greeted her, "Did you want something?"
"Good afternoon." Masami also was polite, "Yes." Masami responded unsurely.
"Come in." Oleg called her to take a free place, which were a lot here right now, "Maria tell you're doing success on her lessons, is it true?"
"Yes, I just decided to be more active during the lessons, and…" Masami didn't know how to continue her sentence right, but Oleg was in time to help her with that problem.
"Nice to see you're becoming more active, even during my lessons you're not like that, I hope you'll join the other one as your classmates." Oleg still had a slight smile on his face, "By the way did you like practical part of Maria's lessons?"
"Yes, it was really interesting, and especially the beginning when Pavel was in charge of the lesson. He knows so much about mental powers."
"Wait, Pavel did the work?" Oleg was surprised hearing these words, "Maria, I thought it was your task to make the lessons."
"Pavel always wanted to be an instructor, so it's a good opportunity for him to display his abilities of teaching."
"If you needed an assistant, it would be better to inform Asagi, she would tell Eugene to send another mental user to help you."
"All these preparation are long, and there are chances that they will send just some run-around that all mentor users are busy or there's a lack of them right now."
"Yes, your truth." Oleg pondered of these words, "But still you could try and I'm not better could think of it too."
"Well, Andou, what did you want to talk with us about?" Maria decided to go away from the theme of studying.
"I wanted to know, are there any other methods, which I can do for training myself except mediation?"
Maria sighed, "It's just your first day of treatment no need to push yourself a lot. For now your practice with Pavel and meditation is enough, gradually we will increase the numbers of exercise." Masami listened to her carefully, "Right now, we are working on treating of your mind, so it's important not to overdo with it."
"I understand." Masami nodded as she sat onto the chair at the desk.
"When you had time to practice with Pavel?" Oleg asked the girl, "As I remember he stayed, at the dormitory."
"They used the gap for training." Maria replied, "This kid doesn't lose time."
"Wow, he can be serious sometimes, it's really surprising." Oleg looked at Maria, "I thought he was a wind head."
"It seems you have really good relations with Pavel." Masami took the floor, "How happened that it's so?"
"Well, Maria Sergeievna was the first teacher, whose lesson he like." Oleg replied, "Mine was the second one."
"Pavel is really a skillful boy, lots of teacher always lectured him, because of his carelessness, while I and Oleg Semenovich could make him interested in our lessons."
"The three of you look like a real family from aside." Masami looked at the blackboard, which was clear now. Maria and Oleg stumbled of that thought, "Don't take in mind, it's just thoughts out loud." Masami tried to defuse the tense which was in the air.
"No, it's not because of it." Oleg said watching at Maria, 'The family, huh?' he thought, 'If only it could be true.'
"Well." Maria coughed at her fist, "To our practice. First thing we're to prepare your mind, then we prepare your spirit and only then we will do mental operation, I hope it's clear, isn't it?"
"Yes." Masami declared, "By the way, can you give it to Pavel, when he comes back?" she put her hand into her schoolbag; she took out a bar of chocolate, "I wanted to thank him for spending time with me, and trying to help me, I didn't find him after the training so wasn't able to give it to him."
"Why not to give him tomorrow?" Oleg asked her, "Tomorrow we are going to the resort, so it'd be a good time for it, and at the same time you'll be able to have practice too."
"Yes, it will be much better to do it on your own." Maria agreed with her countryman, "And if you have questions you can ask Oleg Semenovich."
They talked for a little more, and then Masami decided to leave.
"How do you think will you treat her?" Oleg asked Maria, "I think during your lessons, you've checked her mental state."
"When Pavel brought her, she was really bad." Maria put some files onto the desk, "I thought that all the attempts will be pointless. But after their training today, I felt how something changed in her, so I think we have a chance to make her state better."
"And what about the result? Or only make everything batter."
"I don't doubt she will be fine." Maria got up from her place, "I just hope she won't do anything reckless until the final treatment."
"Yeah, after all the worst part is still ahead." Oleg got up too, "I don't think Pavel will agree with that."
"He has no other choice, if he wants to help this girl he will do this, or she will be only in a half good state."
"Yeah, it's really messy to make them pass through it." Oleg didn't like Maria words, "Even I wouldn't agree with that way."
"Let's go, tomorrow you have a lot of work to do, you must rest well before it."
"Yes, I you're right these three days should be really full for students." Oleg nodded and then followed Maria who was about to leave her classroom.
"Well…" Yukikaze said pondering also standing on the edge of the rooftop, "Here's the place, we should clean up?"
"Yes, we were ordered to clean this place and also capture those, who are connected with demons." Chikeko said to Yukikaze, "And after this you'll leave with 'Red Division'."
"I still don't think was it a good idea to go like that, even not telling to Rinko…" Tatsurou still hesitated of that plan Oleg Semenovich created.
"Tatsurou." Yukikaze turned to see his face, "Rinko would never let us go for that mission, and would tell everything to Asagi-sensei, why you think we told her nothing about it?"
"I know it, but… I still feel really terrible because of it." the boy answered to his girlfriend.
"Guys, am I calling?" Pavel interfered into their talk.
"Yes." Yukikaze nodded in agreement, "Let them know we are on the place."
Pavel nodded and took out Oleg's telephone; he found the needed number and called. The phone was buzzing, but there was no answer, Pavel tried one more time.
"Maybe they're busy." the Russian boy thought, but then he heard a strict and rude voice in the phone.
"What is it teacher? If I don't take the damn phone, there are something serious, what the hell do you want?!" the shout was heard even to the other three.
"It's not Oleg Semenovich, it's his student."
"What?! The hell he is doing giving his telephone to damn kids, is he sane?!" the voice still was anger and became more irritated.
"No, it's because of the joining Mizuki Yukikaze to 'Red Division' in order to save her mother." Pavel was wondered, who was that man on the other side of the line.
"Ah! You're that damn boy, Pavel, am I correct?" the rude voice became less angry, "We'll be there soon, wait for us, we'll help you with your mission."
"Got it." Pavel replied and added, "We are on the northern side from of the building." and heard buzzing on the other side, "Man, that guy was a real pain in the ass."
"Ha, he's pretty cool I think." Yukikaze chuckled, she liked the view how Pavel was slanged.
"By the way, Pavel." Chikeko turned to the boy, "What can you tell about that Division? I know you can know a lot about them, but still."
"As I know they're mercenaries of high rank. They do all type of dirty work, which ordinary hunters don't do." Pavel put his finger onto his chin, "They do their work all over the world and take high payment for it."
"Are they doing political assassinations?" Chikeko narrowed her eyes.
"Maybe." Pavel pondered, "Ordinary hunters never do such things I think as we only capture corrupted politicians and bring them to the law."
"Yes, we do the same." Chieko agreed with the boy, "We rarely kill noble people, so how do you think can they kill them?"
"I think they can do such things, they're high paid after all."
"I see." Chikeko nodded, 'Maybe it they are who could kill Nakamura, but what purpose was in it? And if they've done it can we trust them?'
Tatsurou and Yukikaze discussed something energetically; while Chikeko was deepen in her thought. Pavel decided to stay aside and not to interfere in both sides. Two themes were in his head Masami and Ren. Masami's practice started really well, and he like the way she was working, with such attitude she would get well much faster. And the thoughts about Ikenami were wandering about going out with her somewhere. On that small vacation, they could do something together.
After an hour they finally heard some steps, they turned their heads and saw three people. They were Splash, Doppel and Hush.
'Now I understand who answered my call.' Pavel sighed deeply.
"Finally!" Yukikaze exclaimed, "Where the hell you were? We started to get bored."
"As I remember, we didn't tell the time we'll come. Doesn't the little shrimp know that it's impolite to shout at those, who offer you to help?"
"Shrimp?!" Yukikaze was hurt with the name Splash gave her, "Who do you think you're calling me that? Sickly!"
"Repeat it, shrimp." Splash didn't like the attitude of the girl.
Chikeko coughed at her fist attracting the attention of two boiled persons, "Well, aren't you here to help us with some?"
"Don't act like a child." Doppel gave a cuff on the nape to Splash, "You only disgrace us." Hush replied nothing and was only watching, at the scene.
"Fine." Splash took out a box with cigarettes, burnt one of them and started smoking, "So, this is the place you're to clean?" he looked at the skyscraper, which was in front of them.
"Yes." Pavel nodded, "Just some gang of demons nothing more."
"I see." Splash came to him, "Well, Hush will protect our hides from here, I think it'll be good, and the damn kids, will split with elder one."
"So you want for each of us to take one student?" Doppel reasked him, "Isn't it reckless?"
"I don't know about her, but we are quite skillful and can deal with them alone. I just want to finish this one faster and start our primal task."
"Well, what will you say Taimanin?" Doppel asked Chikeko, "Should we do this?"
"Yes, if you are in a hurry, then let's do this." the teacher agreed with the plan.
"I'm using water ability." Splash announce his power, "I will work with Yukikaze, since I know how to cooperate lightning with water."
Yukikaze replied nothing; it was a good opportunity for her to know about her father and his connection with these mercenaries.
"I'll go with this cute boy." Doppel pointed at Tatsurou, "My powers are in metamorphosis, so it's not important what powers you possess."
"Wind powers." Tatsurou replied with a worried voice.
"Hey, don't even think to cling to him." Yukikaze glanced at the woman, "He's my boyfriend."
"I even haven't such thoughts." Doppel chuckled.
"Then I'll work with Pavel." Chikeko concluded the splitting, "And this one is protecting us."
"Yes he is good in protection." Splash added, "Don't worry kid." he looked at Tatsurou, "We'll do everything fine."
"Are you ready?" Chikeko asked the team, all of them nodded, "Let's start the mission then. Pavel and I will go through the rooftop, you…"
"Doppel." the woman corrected Chikeko, "And this one is Splash."
"Got it." she nodded, "Doppel, you and Tatsurou will take the left side of the building."
"And we'll take the front door." Splash said, "Hush will cover us all so in some way, we'll have three persons in each squad."
"Fine, now, start!" and they jumped to their locations leaving Hush absolutely alone, however, the drone on his chest took a wing and started to fly around the building.
Yukikaze and Splash got down fast and on their way she decided to speak with the man, who was with he in pair.
"I wanted to thank you." Yukikaze suddenly said, "For helping us twice, if not you we would be captured then."
"Don't mention it." Splash replied, "I just did what I had to, if you weren't Yasuhiro's daughter, I won't bother about you that much."
"I wanted to ask you, what you know about my father, and the guns you gave me! How they were with you, and…" she wasn't able to finish as she was interrupted.
"Everything later, shrimp I'm waiting for a signal."
"A signal, but we haven't discussed anything about it." Yukikaze was wondered, as she didn't know for what signal he partner waited.
"This one." he said as there was a slight shot at the window, directly from Hush's position, "Now, move your ass!" Splash ordered when the shot was made out of the roof.
Splash ran to the main entrance and Yukikaze followed him, two massive orks were standing in the doorway.
"What, Taimanin?" one of them was astonished of such reckless thing as attacking straight.
Splash jumped and sliced one demon, while Yukikaze killed the second one with her guns.
"Not a bad timing girl."
"You haven't seen all what I can yet." the young Taimanin chuckled.
They entered the building and noticed that there was a little turmoil. Some people with guns and demons were running somewhere. When the two hunters entered the building they attracted big attention.
"Well, time to have some fun." Splash jointed his swords in one two sided sword.
"Taimanin! Kill them!" someone shouted.
Splash saw how someone wanted to shoot at him, so he took a deep breath and released a strong stream of water at the person with gun. Then he quickly sliced the werewolf, who wanted to attack him with his claws.
Yukikaze covered Splash's back, perfectly also not forgetting to kill some extra enemies, her lightning bolts were reaching her aim very fast. Splash didn't rely on Yukikaze's help much, and protect himself well. Suddenly Yukikaze started to become surrounded. Splash felt some pressure too.
'Shit, if I won't make something she will have lots of troubles.' he parried the attack of some demon, 'And where's that dumb bastard, when he is needed!'
When Yukikaze, did a back step one werewolf appeared behind her.
"What?!" she exclaimed.
"Got you, flat chested!" werewolf grinned, but when he did a swing, he suddenly fell down.
Several of Yukikaze's opponents fell down in no time, blood was dripping from their bodies.
'Is it the work of that man?'
"Yukikaze don't interrupt! Protect my hide!" Splash shouted.
"Yes!" Yukikaze did a shot at the enemy, who was close to Splash.
"Are you worried of your mission?" Doppel asked Tatsurou, whilst they were on their way to the location, which was ordered to them to clean.
"Y… yeah." Tatsurou responded uncertainly, "We're to rescue Aunty after all."
"What Aunty you're talking about?" Doppel raised her eyebrow, "You thought you're here only to clean the place, was it something else you're to do here?"
"No." Tatsurou shook with his head, "I'm talking about Aunty Shiranui." the boy explained, "I'm worried of not know will we rescue her or not."
"Do you want to say that you're going with us?" Doppel still was confused of the information she'd just received.
"Yes, I' coming with Yukikaze too." Tatsurou replied, his voice was unsure, "Is something there about it?"
"No, can I ask you one question? But if you don't want you cannot answer it." Tatsurou looked at the woman and nodded, "What binds you with Yukikaze, are you her boyfriend or just a friend?"
"Well… I'm… her boyfriend." the boy confessed fairly, "At the same time we're childhood friends, so I know her well."
"I see." Doppel nodded, "And you called Shiranui Aunty, why do you call her that?" the woman was really interested in that.
"She was the one who took care of me and the other person when we were children." Tatsurou didn't mention about Rinko.
"I see. That's why you decided to follow her." Doppel smiled as she stopped, "Love always makes us do lots of things we don't want for others. But when you love someone strongly, you'll even try to remove mountains."
"I have a question too…" Tatsurou didn't know how say it right in order not to make the woman angry or something like that.
"About our connection with her father?" Doppel asked the question he wanted to ask straight, Tatsurou nodded, "Well, it's a long story." Doppel chuckled and heard a shot, which was done from the side of their former location, "Which we'll discuss next time." her face became serious, "The mission is starting." the boy nodded, "Ready?"
"Yeah." Tatsurou nodded.
Doppel chuckled and stretched her arms out, they quickly turned in some scare wings, as if they belonged to some bat, and her legs changed to the bird's ones, she took a wing and grabbed Tatsurou for his shoulders.
"What?" the boy was shocked and excited, "Wait, what are you…?"
"Don't worry." Doppel chuckled, "Enjoy the flight!"
Then she did a swing with her wings and flew to the building they needed. Doppel cracked the window and threw Tatsurou onto ht floor and with several swings reached the first demon and pierced his neck with her sharp claws.
"First is done!" Doppel chuckled and landed onto the floor.
"What the hell was that?!" they heard some steps in the farthest part of the corridor, "Taimanin, kill them at once!" some massive demon ordered to the rest.
Tatsurou exposed his katana, and started to protect himself from the demons, which attacked him. Doppel changed her libs, her legs returned to her ordinary form, while her arms started to remind the claws of the mantis. Doppel worked with them perfectly, her opponents were surprised of such moves and didn't know how to come to her.
'Is it her power?' Tatsurou thought watching at the woman, 'Interesting.'
The boy decided to use his wind in order to equal their state. He perfectly created wind blades an puffs not letting his enemies to come to him too close.
"Not bad boy." Doppel pressed her back to Tatsurou's, "Just don't meddle, and fight them faster, we'll be able to deal with them fast."
"Got it." Tatsurou really was ashamed with that, he knew that his moves weren't good, but still pretty good for the current situation as there wasn't too many of enemies.
The enemies kept coming and coming. Tatsurou and Doppel started to be narrowed. And even for her it was difficult to fight and even protect the boy next to her.
'If we continued like that, I don't know for how long we'll hold, where's Hush's help?'
Suddenly there was a strange noise and one demon fell down onto the ground.
"What the hell was that?!" some demon shouted, "Do they have a fucking sniper?!"
"Just send someone to deal with him!" someone shouted to the crowed.
"Hey, are you scared of us?" Doppel smirked watching at the demons, "Just some sniper made you mess your pants?" she decided to provoke the crowd.
"Damn bitch, I'll put these words back to your throat!" a massive minotaur ran to her.
Doppel quickly dodged his lunge and then he was shot by the sniper at his head.
'That person is really skillful, I don't think even Makishima-sensei can shoot like that.' Tatsurou thought as the third demon was killed.
The fight continued and little by little they entered deeper into the building. After some period of time, Doppel and Tatsurou encountered Chikeko and Pavel and the four of them formed a formidable power. Demons and criminals could do nothing against all of them, at once Tatsurou joined Pavel and both of them focused on fast demons, while Chikeko and Doppel focused on more dangerous one.
"I must admit the fight became much easier with you on our side." Chikeko said to Doppel, "With you we'll finish it really fast."
"Yeah, you're not bad too." Doppel said, "The way you use your spear is really amazing."
"Hey, Tatsurou, aren't you tired?" Pavel asked the other male hunter.
"Why do you think so?" Tatsurou asked him back.
"You seem winded, are you thinking of Yukikaze?" he chuckled, "Don't worry, she'll be fine with Splash."
"Do you know that man?" the purpled eyed boy asked him.
"No, but I've read his dossier, and according to it, he's really a strong hunter." Pavel said parrying a blade of some demon.
"I hope you're right." Tatsurou nodded, remembering his fight along with Splash against Shiranui.
The fight continued and in no time the four reached Yukikaze and Splash who still were fighting on the first floor.
"You're some a pair of snails." Doppel jumped to help the man with water abilities, "We've cleaned the biggest part of the building."
"Just because Hush helped you more." Splash found what to answer.
"Oh, if he didn't help us we would also come to save your butts." Doppel chuckled at the respond of her comrade.
"Next time I'll send you into the thick of the battle, damn doppelganger." the man smirked.
'Do they always speak like that to each other?' Tatsurou thought glancing at the duo, who reminded a tornado, which destroyed everything on its way.
"Hey, you with katana!" Splash called Tatsurou, "Help to your teacher, and you Yukikaze help to the one with the sword."
The students spread and that formation was really good. Chikeko with Tatsurou were fighting really well. Pavel and Yukikaze weren't an exception. Pavel gathered demons and then Yukikaze burnt them all with her lighting. Chikeko preferred not to you her flute as the battle was in some ways easy. From time to time Hush covered them from demons, but still not as often as before.
There were no problems for the group to clean the place. And after almost an hour they found themselves on a rooftop resting of the enemies they'd just killed.
"Well it's really easy to fight with you." Chikeko said to Splash, who was sitting on the edge of the skyscraper, "If your team was in our lines we would deal with missions fast."
"Sorry, baby, but we're already reserved." Splash chuckled, "If you want our boss can find some place for you too."
"Nope, the same is with me." Chikeko rejected the offer of joining too, "Well, Yukikaze, Tatsurou." he face became serious, "Are you still sure to join them?"
"Yes." Yukikaze replied, "This chance is on for million, and we are to use it."
"I agree too." Tatsurou agreed with his girlfriend, "We can lose it."
"Wait this boy is going with us?" Splash turned to the group, "Are you mocking me?"
"What's with that?" Doppel protected the boy, "Do you have something with it?"
"The way he fights tenses me a lot, are you really a skillful Taimanin?"
"Well… I… I'm…" Tatsurou didn't know how to answer that man stroke at the needed place and the boy lost all his confidence.
"Hey! Tatsurou may seem like that, but he is one of the best hunters I know!" Yukikaze started to become angry, she didn't like the opinion Splash gave about Tatsurou.
"Fighting with him gave a thought that he just needs some serious training and then he become a really good hunter." Doppel joined Yukikaze's side too.
'Yukikaze.' Tatsurou looked at her.
"Fine just do as you wish." Splash spitted, "But if something happens to him don't blame me."
"Tatsurou." Pavel came to the boy and put his hand onto the shoulder of the boy, "Don't worry, you'll do everything perfectly, I know your potential." he smiled, "Just concentrate and everything will be perfect."
"Then it's time to say goodbye for now, am I right?" Chikeko looked at duo, which was about to leave for unknown period of time.
"It seems so." Yukikaze nodded, "Sensei, well back as fast as we only can, along with my mother. It's a promise!"
"You've really grown up." Chikeko smiled watching at her, "It's just like two elder hunters are standing in front of me, but not two students."
"Don't worry, sensei, we won't fail you." Yukikaze chuckled, "Along with them, I think it won't be difficult to return mother back."
"Don't worry about them, too much." Doppel came to the teacher, "We will do everything to protect these kids. This dumb head can look like a real scum, but he is a good person."
"Hey, bitch who is scum here?!" Splash raised his voice, "By the way, what have you thought on telling to your heads about these two?"
"They're captured by 'The Third Law'." Pavel replied.
"Not a bad idea at all." Splash was amused of such idea, "But you must be made a hat even worse than you're now." he looked at Pavel.
"What do you mean?" Pavel didn't got the idea, but when saw, how Slash started to expose his sword understood everything.
"Wait, are you going to fight us?" Chikeko was excited of the idea to fight their allies.
"He is right." Doppel nodded, "If you want to blame them, you must be beaten thoroughly.
Hush also exposed his blade out of his hand, and a whip from another one.
"Which formation will you like?" Splash gave the choice how to fight the three mercenaries.
Chikeko frowned, "Pavel, I'll fight those two, and you fight that machine."
"Fine, I'll try." Pavel quickly exposed his sword.
Splash and Doppel attacked Chikeko quickly; she quickly understood the common work of two mercenaries. She realized that in real battle she wouldn't have even a single chance against them. Doppel and Splash's attacks were well coordinated. Both of them attacked her gradually, first one was Doppel and second one was Splash. The teacher tried her best, to dodge their attack, because there was no even a talk about counterattack, Splash also used his water abilities for ranged attacks.
Pavel on the contrary felt himself a bit easier than Chikeko, but still not much as the opponent he was fighting was very skillful too. Hush didn't give Pavel an opportunity to strike back. Hush didn't use his drone as it was peacefully placing on his trunk. Pavel tried his best, but when he wanted to attack the metallic person, Hush quickly hit him at his stomach, and then at his chest.
'Shit, he is too fast! I can even predict what he is going to do.'
Splash suddenly appeared behind Chikeko and hit her at her side, and Doppel hit her at her back. Both of anti-demon ninjas were lying on the ground defeated.
"Well, now we're leaving." Splash chuckled, "I hope you liked the battle."
"Don't be that caustic." Doppel hit him at his shoulder, "You were really good opponents, just be careful next time."
"See you later." Yukikaze waved them.
And then the five left the roof, where they were.
"Pavel, if Oleg asks, don't tell him about that please." Chikeko said to the boy resting after the intensive battle.
"Don't worry, I won't. After all that that one kicked my butt too." Pavel chuckled.
"No the rest is for you, Yukikaze, Tatsurou." Chikeko whispered, "Don't even dare to return without her."
